incompetent, not helpful, impossible to get a hold of

Good, fair teacher...listens well and very encouraging
Needs to get it together, too much expected for the class, too disorganized
lectures are unhelpful
she is very nice, but does not explain much of the topics that are on the test.
Most of what she covers in class doesn't show up on the tests. It makes for interesting lectures but if this is how she's gunna run the class, she needs to let us relax and participate, rather than have us writing down a million notes at one time.
All good. Vast expertise.
ONE OF THE BEST CLASSES I HAVE TAKEN. EXAMS BACK IN A WEEK. TESTS NO SURPRISES. VERY NICE. THANKS KIM.
very clear as to what's on exams, great class for those who bother to study...interesting as well, especially guest speakers...great class
Excellent. Wish there were more like her. I learned a lot. Thanks
I had better long term retention from her class because she works hard to narrow the topic to what we really need to know. She is interesting, has alot of field knowledge and is extremely fair. She's one of the top 10 instructors out there!
AWESOME TEACHER! you know whast going to be on the exam.... TRUST ME!!! the only bad thing is taking millions of notes, not a class that u can slack off in but if you study her notes and do the review questions you cant fail gauranteed to get a B or higher!! just answer the study qns with paragraphs
i would never take this class again...cuz i'm going to pass with flying colors
Kim is a great teacher. I'm about to take my 3rd class with her. No surprises on tests, she lets you write your paper on anything that interests you and her notes are typed and organized for easy copying. She's a very nice person too. Absolutely no complaints. Take her if you have the chance.
She is ok. Easy if you work hard and spend time reading. But, she is not cnoveyingher message as well as she could. But, I still enjoy her classes, she is good, I hope she continues teaching at UCVF, looking forward to have her in my future classes! See you then Kim!
enjoyed the class very much...kim is cool
Awesome proff. had two classes with her..hoping she would teach some upper level crim tho..classes are interesting and she really wants the students to succeed
Kim is an excellent professor. If you show up to class you are bound to learn something. She is also one of the eaiest markers I have ever run into. I definately recommend her.
Kim is a great prof. She is very clear and nice. She also makes the class interesting with stories and good topics of discussion. You can get A's in her classes if you try.
Gigadigigadi! Bring on Crimaster Kim! A focused, cool, straightforward to-the-point professer, Dr. Polowek reminds me of Clive Owen from Inside Man. Always something to be expected in her class such as speakers or vids. Sure notes are a pain, but its about the coolest sub in the world from a woman who's done it! Blonde. Brown. Pink. Hair. Wow!
Kim is a very interesting teacher, she wants students to do well, but you do have to work for it. There are 3 inclass exams(no formal exam). there is one on paper worth 25%. all in all, a great teacher
Excellent, super nice and easy to talk to. Go to classes! She uses the class as a supplemental to the text and often asks questions on the test on a topic, speaker or vid discussed in class. Her tests are very easy as she uses questions straight from the text. Great dresser too, and super cute <3
It1s joy going to her class. Its very easy to get a good mark but you must work for it. She is very clear in her instructions. Awesome teacher.
She's a really easy marker, basically if you write a lot you will be fine. I didn't know answers to a few of her questions, but I wrote a lot about nothing and got 2/2, the answer was completely wrong. The class is super boring, she really doesn't say much in the classes I spend an entire class watching Youtube videos, thats not what your paid for
She is such a sweetheart! Lots of work and a boring class but she can always put a smile on your face.
Pretty easy marker, usually sends the powerpoints out after class and that's where a lot of her exam questions are from; also from end of each chapter. Fair prof
Kim, is a great prof!! she has knowledge in every section of the course! She has alot of experience that relates to the course which makes her course alot more interesting!! however some times she does ramble on on and it does it booooorrrrrriiinnnng!overall great class pretty easy!
One of my favorite classes. Easy to learn, she keeps the lectures interesting and laptop use is allowed. I would recommend her.
Would definitely take another class with her in the future. Fair marker, encourages (but does not force) good discussion. Notes are e-mailed out after each class. Tests are always based on familiar material.
I would definitely take a class with her in the future. She brought in many guest speakers with on-the-job experience! She has lots of experience and her lectures are very interesting (if your interested in crim). She is a great marker and provides lots of feedback. Take her if you can!
Kim is awesome. She is understanding and her work is simple and easy to follow. Although her midterm is jam packed she gives you alot of hints as to what the midterm will consist of.
Great teacher, tests are straight out of the review section at the end of each chapter. Plus she's easy to look at
very good teacher. best aspect is that she makes sure that her students know what to study for her tests, so they are pretty straight forward. the class itself is pretty easy going. her voice is pretty low toned but she is NOT boring and is actually pretty funny.
Kim has incredible knowledge about this field from all her experience in the Justice system. Her power points are clear and her tests are to the point and all written, no m/c. She's a fair marker and is able to relay first hand examples. I'd highly reccomend her!
Kim is nice and funny. Exams are straight out of power points, which she marks with an 'X' to tell you what is important and also the text book. Classes are super boring and if you ask for help after class, you won't get it really. She uses her phone a lot during class too. I mean.. A LOT.
OMG best prof ever! sooo easy but you actually learn a lot! super straight forward, she wants everyone to do well. She tells you everything that is on every test, no surprises at all. She is such a nice lady and very experienced in the field. I wish she taught more courses i would take a class with her again in an INSTANT!! total sweetheart!
I found the class very boring, does not get the class involved. all you do is look at power points and you don't have to take the notes as she sends them to you. very easy tests... she's nice on the eyes if your want a plus side.
Kim is great, she is extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and approachable. This course does require an fairly big term paper and in order to understand the requirements you should attend class. Kims exams are always very straight forward with the majority of her questions coming out of the focus questions in the textbook. Overall great prof!
Great prof. Very clear, helpful, and a fair marker. Would definitely take a course with her again.
Kim made the class very interesting and engaged her students in conversation. Very knowledgable about the subject and provided real life examples. Extremely easy to approach and talk to. If I have the chance I will for sure take another class with her :)
Kim is a fantastic prof. she is so easy-going and very approachable. tests are straight forward with no tricks. everything is from her powerpoint(which she sends you) or the text book. recommend taking class with her!
Excellent prof. Has lots of practical experience in all areas of criminal justice and it shows. Focuses on new and relevant topics in class, using the text as a supplement. Informative and entertaining classes, straightforward exams (but you still have to study!) Fully recommended.
Kim is awesome! Attend all the lectures and you will do well on the tests. Written exams - you choose some questions and some are mandatory. She spends most of the lectures showing videos and she's very entertaining to listen to. The assignment for this course was big and time-consuming but she spent lots of time going over it in class.
she is really helpful. her exams are straight-forward. she tells you what's going to be on the exams.
Kim is a very friendly and approachable prof. Lectures are filled with interesting video's and she invites inspiring guest speakers.
Kim marks on content! Her exams are practically a sure thing as long as you read the questions at the end of each chapter in the text! She's so approachable and was easily one of my fave profs of yet! She's always full of fun, topic related, stories and she's never boring! 1010 would take her class again!
Kim is an amazing prof! She's inspirational & has alot of experienceknowledge. Textbook-only used for definitions, no need to read. Crystal clear outline for exams, but memorization is key. If you memorize most of the notes and definitions in the text, you will get a good grade. Would definitely take again!
Kim is awesome!
Tests are easy, but long so write fast. The project was huge, make sure you start ahead of time, as she warns you, and get her feedback. Very approachable and friendly though!
Tests are 100% written, so make sure you study hard and you'll be fine. She marks easily on the paper and group assignment. One thing I did not like was she would skim through slides so you could never take notes and then wouldn't post them online until 3 days later.
Kim is awesome. Pay attention and spend some time with the Research proposal and you'll pass.
Although Kim's class is fairly easy due to the fact that she literally gives you the questions that will be on her exams, it's definitely not an easy class to sit through. Her lectures are tediously long and quite boring. She is, however, extremely good hearted and very helpful when asked. Textbook is an absolute must to pass exams!!!
Enjoyed taking Kim's class. Great prof, she does what she can with the dull material. I would def suggest this course.
Kim is a nice person but as a prof her teaching style is interesting. She posts powerpoints online so you don't necessarily have to go to class; she will flip through slides insanely fast - you start writing and she will already be on another slide talking about something different. Super easy tests - questions straight out of text. Easy marker!
An amazing prof especially if you are first year. She is very clear in what she wants & what she expects from you as well as very helpful. She replies fairly quickly to emails & her tests are written but not terribly hard. You need the textbook to pass them. She uses power points for her lectures and assignments are fun & easy. Would take again! :)
She does give long lectures but they are very interesting and she is knowledgeable about the content. She gives a lot of examples from previous working jobs so it makes things very interesting She is clear with what she wants on exams and if you show up, pay attention and read the textbook it is easy. Overall a good class and she is really nice
She's very good, her lectures are not boring, she doesn't make u take notes in class, she posts her powerpoint online. she's a very easy marker and her midterms are really easy. her criteria is easy so you can prepare for them and know what to expect. will take her a class with her again!
Not only is Kim massive eye candy, but she is very knowledgeable in her field and makes you feel motivated to work as hard as she does. She takes her past experiences and funnels it into the lectures to make sure the lessons learned are applicable to work and practicums. Was a great class!
I personally really enjoy Kim's classes. She really kept the class entertained, and with her experience within the criminology field is very knowledgable and interesting when she brings in stories of her experiences. Unfortunately she did miss a couple classes, and had online classes so I didn't experience much class time. Will take again tho!!
Interesting teacher. Fairly easy marker if you actually follow her guidelines. Make sure you study for tests as she will be looking for you to hit all the points. I found she kept a fairly boring class interesting and is overall a very nice and knowledgeable lady. Good to talk to if you need help on assignments.
Very good teacher she will sit down with anyone after hours to go over something
Heres the deal. I know the only thing you care about his her easiness level. Tests are all written, and based on the end of chapter questions and power point slides. She gives you an outline for every test. If you memorize all the answers to textbook questions you'll get an easy A. Lectures are dull, but she tries. 1 group project 1 paper.
Kim is an awesome person but a debatably good prof. There are 3 exams in total with online classes the week after each exam and one 8 page paper (a bit much for a first-year paper if you ask me). Exams are fully written, based on the key term questions in the back of each textbook chapter & her slides with X on them. Don't bother taking notes. GL!
Kim is a very sweet lady, she is very understanding and helpful if you aren't clear with what is being discussed. 220 is a pretty dry class and Kim trys to make it as exciting as possible. She is very clear on what she wants on her exams, but the research proposal was somewhat tough and marked harder. Class sucked, but Kim is a great professor
Kim is a passionate prof. Really well educated on what she lectures. She's very clear on what she expects for papers, exams, and group projects. A good sense of humour, I quite enjoyed her class.
There is one group project in the Crim. 103 class, and it is rather entertaining. The exam is easy if you spend about 5 hours studying because you have to do well because the exams are so small but worth 20% of the grade.
If your going to take this class, your moto is going to be "Your about to witness the strength of street knowledge" before every test
Boring long lectures that have nothing to do with tests, tests are horrible and consist of nothing that was told to study for.... Kim is hot but not a good teacher
Honestly, showed up to class here n there, and even when I did the lectures were so dry and boring I ended up dozing off a lot. Somehow I ended up receiving a B, beats me how. But if you're looking for an easy A, she's the professor to take. Kind human and willing to help.
Very boring lectures, you just sit there and listen to her speak (she doesn't want you to take notes, lectures are online). Online powerpoint lectures are a bit confusing at times. Need book for end of chapter questions. Says all the questions that are on the test.
Boring lectures but posts them online. Easy tests, theres a mandatory section of questions and then theres another section of questions but you choose a few that you want to answer. Questions are word for word out of the end of chapter questions in the textbook. Theres one presentation and one paper but she is a easy marker.
Kim is super nice. I've taken 3 courses with her and each time her expectations are super clear. She responds to e-mails very quickly, and is always willing to help. Her lectures are a little dull, but she posts everything to blackboard later on. There was a midterm, a paper, group presentation, and a final (which is during regular class times).
Kim is a great prof. Her lectures can be quite boring since she talks about the same things almost every class. Her exams are easy but you have to study for them. There is an optional and mandatory section. You choose a set number of questions from the optional to answer but you have to answer all of the mandatory section. Not that difficult.
Kim is a great professor, she is very knowledgable and that shows in her lectures as she always has extra reading material to learn more about topics; although they can be dry at times. One long paper 15-20 pages with a lit review, be sure to start early. easy group project worth 20%.
Kim's class was fairly easy just do everything she asks on your outline and you will easily get an A. The essay is long and time consuming; when she says you can't finish it in one night believe her. The presentation at the end was basically for completion marks.
Kim is a good prof but her lectures are very dry and all over the place. She isn't very organized and there is a major paper that is mandatory. The paper is difficult if you don't start about 2 weeks prior to its due date. Her midterm and finals are all short answer and not difficult if you study her power points and the textbook questions.
Her classes are so boring and lectures seem useless because her exams are straight out of the end of chapter questions from the textbook. So study that and whatever she tells you and you'll do okay on the exams. She's a hard marker tho for a first year class
The class was fine. It was a hybrid so having a couple of days where you didn't have to show up was nice. Kim was a nice prof but her lectures were so boring I didn't know how to make time pass. They're messy, confusing, and there is so much content. Her "midterms" weren't that hard if you did the Key Term questions but she's a whack essay marker.
3 exams, 1 research paper and a group project. Exams are all short answer (no MC) but she highlights all the material in class. For the research paper, just write pick any topic relating to the course and you're set; not a hard marker. Group project: the only way you don't get an A is if you leave after you present
Kim was amazing, easy to follow, gives you notes on blackboard so you can focus in class. Her tests were very long was the downside, although the material was clearly stated. The exams are written, took almost the entire class each time. Group project was easy marks, put a little effort in and show up to present and you'll get a decent mark.
Kim is a very good prof who knows what she's talking about, but she is very repetitive. Lectures can drag on because she gives 5+ examples for each aspect of the course, which could be considered useful, but it is also very tenuous.
Kim is a really great prof. Though her lectures are a bit dry and a lot of the content in the slides is not relevant to the exams. However she tells you exactly what is going to be on the exams and exactly what you need to study from the slides. Would recommend taking her class!
Supper nice, clear criteria and super interesting lectures. Tests arent bad and tells you what to expect.
Her lectures were very dry and irrelevant to the midterm and final. She's not lenient and does not allow extensions. Kim is very disorganized. She changed the course syllabus in the middle of the semester so everything (including the paper and the final) were due a week earlier and did not do due diligence to ensure everyone was aware of the change
Good prof, if you know apa style then the paper is an easy A I wrote the whole thing night before still got an A. Not half as hard as everyone says it is. Exams are easy As just memorize everything word for word n write it down exactly as it was in textbook or on the PowerPoint. Find answers for the textbook questions online.
There were 3 tests, group project and a paper. All super easy and she set great expectations for everyone. I liked her teaching style, and she was super nice!
Kim is nice but her lectures are boring and dry. The final paper is not too hard but start it early! It's almost 20 pages in the end. She posts her slides but they often don't make sense. She changes the syllabus and online lectures around a lot. Her tests are easy, she tells you what will be on them but make sure to do the textbook questions too.
Important to have textbook, all tests are right out of the key concepts pages. Lectures are long and dry, but if you have textbook you'll be fine. Tough grader on papers but very kind and funny in classes.
There was 3 tests, an essay and group project. She is a very difficult marker. All tests are essay based, and you have to give a lot of information for the questions or you wont get a good mark. All tests are from the textbook. Show up to class because it will help you out.
Not sure whats with the bad reviews for Kim. This class is an easy A if youve written 5+ paper before. Yes the lectures are boring but she does the best she can with the content. I started the paper a few days before and got an A.. dont stress about it. Her exams are straight forward.. and she gives you all the questions. Show up, pay attention A
She's really sweet and kind but If you're looking for consistency, I'd recommend taking this class with another prof.
Her lectures were super boring. She's a nice person and is willing to help you out if you need extra help but she just doesn't explain things very well. Tests are all written (no multiple choice) and half of it you'll only get right if you memorize the textbook. She expects a lot from students for a 200 level course, but she does mark pretty easy.
Disorganized, inconsistent, unclear criteria, super long, boring, dry and irrelevant lectures, does not let the whole class know about important changes. She's kind but I would not recommend taking her for this course.
Kim is a really good professor. It is quite easy to get lost or not understand completely what her expectations are but she will literally give you examples of how the work should be done and honestly that helps so much. Her expectations are very clear. I would recommend taking her class, just be active cuz you will need to know what youre doing.
No one did well on the first paper because her instructions were terrible. Her mid term was also a bit extreme. She did mark it leniently but it was extremely long and the questions were intense. The whole thing was stressful. There were also a million extra things she wanted us to read and watch beyond the reading and PPTs. It was way tooexcessive
Taking a class with Dr. Polowek is the best decision I made this semester. You can see the passion she puts into her weekly studies and truly wants students to thrive. Both exams were open book which allowed you to expand on your learning throughout the assigned chapters. Papers were all made known well in advance and with clear expectations.
For a research methods class her paper grading is very fair - As soon as I saw Kim was teaching it i added it to my sched right away. Very very clear cut expectations, to the point lectures, and she replies to emails re assignments within a few hours to a day incl. weekends. Overall a refreshing online course experience - highly recommend!
Lectures were long but she explains herself well. A few longer papers and she doesn't give much feedback for how to do better next time + she's a hard marker I found. I would take one of her classes again if I had to because she is nice and tries to include office hours, I was just unable to make them.
Crim 220 was not a difficult class. Kim is a really good teacher and cares about her students. The course work was very disorganized as the course material is not put into weekly folders. Only graded on a few writing assignments and a take home midterm.
Amazing professor! I took CRIM103 with her as well and she was absolutely fascinating, loved hearing about her real life/work experiences and she even offered us to attend some of her court cases. Although I missed out on those opportunities, the course work was interesting, amazing group experiences too and FUN projects! Overall, 10/10!!!
Kim is so nice, her lectures are interesting, accessible outside of class. If you have the chance, take a class with her!
Overall the class was smooth sailing! She provides her lecture PowerPoints online to access after class, and is great to talk to if you need help/feedback. The marking isn't terribly tough, plus she provides pretty good feedback for future assignments. Just keep up with the readings and lectures and it'll go great.
Kim Polowek is not a bad professor by any means. She often brings in guest speakers, posts PowerPoints online and tells you what can potentially be on the exam from the lecture You will however have to read all the chapters and answer all the questions from the textbook as it could be on the exam Her criteria for papers is not clear boring lectures
Kim is the best prof I've ever had she is not only great at teaching but she genuinely made me a better researcher and writer. I would 100% take her class again and plan on it if she is teaching any other courses. She is so helpful and always gives great feedback. Her lectures are great too and the course was overall a fanatic experience for me :)
Though I only got a C, I still enjoyed this prof as she was very available and caring. Her exams are hard as they are all fully written, but if you attend class she will say when something will be on the exam so that we can capitalize on knowing the answer to certain things. Enjoyable class and prof but the exams are hard.
Kim's lectures can be boring but her powerpoints are pretty straightforward and clear. She does mark very hard on the midterm and is not clear about exactly how much you should write. She also is a tough grader on her papers because she wants to keep her class average at a C.
Kim's assignments were clear and lectures straightforward however, gives very unfair marks and cancelled a few classes expecting us to know most of the content. Beware of the midterm, told us to give short answers but got points off for being too vague.
if you have her, drop out
I didn't like this course, as the professor didn't really engage much with the course material or anything. Very tough exams, which are written exams and her feedback was not great on how to improve for the next exam.
I had Kim for "Victimology." She's not a bad professor, but her material and lectures online are a bit disorganized. She gives you the exam questions (they are all long-answer) so you have time to prepare. She wasn't bad, but not my favourite teaching style. Two written exams, one paper, and one research presentation.
gives bad marks but does not tell you what you do bad on. Based off feedback you should be getting a higher grade then you get. If she gave proper feedback maybe you can actually improve
She has one exam, and it is completely written. She marks it toughly, but questions are very very very straightforward. She also has two thought papers, which she does grade toughly, but /15. She gives you the topics to write about, and she gives a clear criteria. She replies to emails as if she's always sitting near her laptop.
Unclear descriptions for assignments. Unclear marketing.
Do not take this prof, she has no clear instructions for any assignments she provides
Very hard grader and not clear in her feedback. Her grading really made no sense and she was not helpful in telling me what exactly I lost marks for. Also very unorganized for online classes, literally the worse one yet. Ive taken a lot of online classes and nothing about her layout on blackboard is organized.
so far, this prof is the worst. She doesn't provide proper instructions on the assignments, unorganized course contents in blackboard, and no grading criteria for a any assignments we will be doing. worried I might fail this course because of how unorganized her assignments and criteria is.
Do not take this professor. Instructions for assignments are unclear and open to interpretation, which would be fine if she didn't penalize us for not meeting her invisible standards. It's impossible to figure out what she's even looking for in our work. It feels like she's intentionally making it hard just for the sake of making it hard.
worst prof. worst instruction on assignments. unorganized blackboard. so many unnecessary links. saying that she hates plagiarism while her lectures are from an online source that she copy pasted. bad at teaching overall. I will never take this prof ever again.
Unclear & late instructions, out-of-date materials (literally everything from lectures and assignments to deadlines). Overly excessive reading of random studies that "should" guide you through assignments/exams instead of her actually teaching. Pure laziness which can easily cause students to fail. Can't even reach out for help. So disappointed.
blackboard is unorganized, hard to find the content we are actually looking for. Unclear about assignments and ppt slides to guide us through it is not very helpful. ppt slides are also not organized the best. Posts so many studies are supposed to help us but are so time-consuming to read and understand. Only prof teaching crim 220......too bad
3rd year at crim and byfar this is the worst prof I have ever have. She marks you very hard impossible to get a good grade impossible to even get a decent grade. Students work so hard to get a good grade and a proffesor like this pops up ruining it for you. Please if you're reading this do not take her class biggest mistake you will make.
I dont know why UFV hired her as a prof. She is so unorganized. The textbook is $200 and we did not even use it once. She is fair grader but her feedback doesn't make sense and she doesn't point out which parts I needed to improve on. She used old materials and it is not up to date. Worst class ever not taking her in other courses ever again.
2 assignment due on the same day. Never been in my life in UFV that a prof asked students to submit 2 completely different assignments in 1 day. Unorganized blackboard, unorganized instructions for the assignments, unorganized lectures, and unorganized person overall. I will never take this prof ever again.
unclear grading criteria. makes up guidelines along the way and deducts points if we dont follow them. Feedback on assignments makes no sense, a struggle to make sense of them. Blackboard is unorganized, hard to find the documents you actually need. Need better profs for this class. Would not recommend but its not like you have another option.
Her class was challenging with a considerable amount of reading and research outside of the textbook that is all very relevant when completing her mid-term and final exam. The class consisted of two short papers, a midi-term and final exam as well as a risk assessment assignment. All in all I enjoyed her class and would recommend taking it.
Kim's class is challenging, with tough grading on exams and papers. However, the lectures are straightforward, and she's responsive to emails. Unstuckstudy was a big help for preparing, along with the required textbook. Overall, it's a decent course if you stay on top of the work.
Kim is a tough grader, so be prepared to include more detail in your work than you might expect. I would still take her class, but make sure to pay close attention to her expectations and add as much detail as possible to your assignments. With careful effort and attention, you can succeed in her course.
A very, very tough grader on the midterms and on the papers she assigns. There was a lot of material to read which did get annoying at times, She always did respond super quickly whenever I sent out an email, though.
The instructor was rude and dismissive in her communication. The feedback lacked clarity, and the grading criteria were not transparent. Despite putting in significant effort and following guidelines, I received low marks without clear reasoning. I believe she should not be teaching and would not recommend this course.
Very rude prof. Tough marker, unclear communication, or trading criteria. Won't help you when you ask for help. I have nothing nice to say about her except that she responds to emails quickly.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT TAKE HER. SHE IS THE TOUGHEST MARKER EVER. THE MIDTERM HAD 15 ESSAY QUESTIONS AND SO MUCH READING. I REGRET TAKING THE CLASS SO MUCH, AND SO WILL YOU IF YOU TAKE IT, BUT TOO LATE TO DROP OUT NOW.
Do your self a favour and dont look her way i rather wait a semester to have a chance with another professor then her. she is very unclear in her instructions and can not run a class. I dont understand why UFV does not hire another prof for this class as it is a requirment class.
She's nice as a person but as a prof her feedback is usually all negative and unclear. She also marks very hard and requires a lot of detail. Her assignment and exam instructions are also unclear. I thought I knew what to expect on the exam but it was completely different from what she said. There is only 1 exam but it is all written
Worst prof ever. Do not take her class. Very tough grader, and rude in her feedback, unclear, and useless. The most hated Prof at UFV. I have never hated a professor, but this time I hate her.
I would not recommend taking this class. Everytime I asked her a question she'd either tell me the same thing that was written in the syllabus or she'd say she can't answer it because “it wouldn't be fair to the other students” as if other students don't have the same opportunity to ask for help when needed. She seems like a very lazy professor.
not sure what this prof wanted from assignments did not give clear criteria and cut a lot of marks
she is extremely tough for a first year class. i was 0.5 percent away from the grade I wanted and she did not give it. her marking criteria is pretty unclear and messed up. she will say oh u can answer some questions directly from textbook but then proceed to deduct marks for it. theres no winning with her. makes ur life harder for no reason
