He makes the communication class fun and interesting. No one ever gets bored in his class when he talks, and he is a liberal, speech teacher who has a passion for teaching communication.

He's a good teacher. His tests are fair, but easy. He's really helpful if you have questions. The only bad part is that he forces his opinion on the class and doesn't take criticism well.

He is a very easy teacher and very funny. Only four speeches and 3 are by yourself and the other one is a group speech.

Class is easy to pass, but study for the tests. Class discussions were fun, he just puts up with too much rudeness from students, especially those who come in late every class, still it was fun and very easy.

Mr. Sission is the best teacher in the world. His tests are a little tricky so remember to study the notes. He is a great teacher because he tells you about things that really matter in life. This man changed my life. He is more than a great teacher. No doubt in my mind he is the best teacher I have ever had in my life. Funny, easygoing, kind, just a great human being.

He's a great teacher! One of the few actaully willing to sit down with a student and help. His class is fairly easy as long as you are willing to give public speaking a try. None of the speeches are longer than five minutes and if you put some effort into the presentation, it's an easy A.

Dr. Sisson is a wonderful teacher. He makes his class fun. He really helps making speaking in front of people easier for you, but on the first day of class everyone has to stand up and give a small speech on a topic that he picks...that was a little nerve wrecking but in the end I got an A

Dr. Sisson is great! He is very funny, very encouraging, and an easy grader. Show up and give your speeches and you'll do fine. But you really need to prepare for your speeches, he can tell if you haven't.

Dr. Sisson is very helpful and available if you ever have any questions or just want to run through your speech before presenting to the class. He was my favorite professor last semester.

He is a great teacher! Absolutely loved his class. You dont need the book just take notes! Pick good topics for your speech and you'll do great. He'll help you with everything! You can mail in your outlines and he'll make corrections! Take him if you need this class!

I enjoyed this class. Dr. Sisson is very direct and if you need clarification-he is an open book of information and help. Be prepared to be 'unpeeled' and exposed. The book is needed(somewhat) and attendence and discussion is recommended. VERY approachable teacher!!! Take him.....

She was not only extremely disrespectful to Dr. Sisson but to every one else in the class too. ignore her comments! Dr. Sisson is a fantastic student who unfortunatley had a slightly crazy student. take him you won't regret it!

dr. sisson is an excellent teacher. he will help your create outlines and give you ideas for your speeches. he does have a atendence policy of missing no more than 5 or 6 days. but he is a linear teacher and keeps class very intersting.

Great professor!!! You will learn a lot. He helps you to develop your own voice and is opinionated but open to all views (but you must be able to back it up)! I took the Honor's section and I highly recommend him!!

Sisson is awesome!His class is fun and rejuvenating.He's certainly an easy A.He's willing to critique your speeches before you do them for a grade so there is no way not to pass.He has a few test and quizzes, and they are a breeze.You do have to show up though. Fun,Fun,Fun!If you can't get at least a B in this class, you may need to quit college:/

Absolutly loved Dr. Sisson. I took him for the LGBT lit class and we read some really great books including Giovanni's Room, City and the Pillar as well as watching Myra Breckenridge(Awful but extemly campy), Angels in America. Some complained about the book load (13 books) but I found most very intresting.

I absolutely loved Dr. Sisson became my favorite class. I was so scared of speaking in front of class, but he makes it so easy to do it. I took advantage of going to see him for every speech to get some reinforcement on the speeches he loves his job and it shows in the way he teaches it. Always had the class laughing. Great professor!

Great Professor. I almost dropped his class b/c of the amt of books we had to read. I got an A. He was terrific the books were interesting and the class was engaged at all times. Great class, great teacher won't be disappointed

I had Dr. Sisson for Comm 1201 and I got an A. Now I'm taking another of his classes. He is one of the BEST professors I have come across and I'm on my second degree. I highly reccommend his class, any one!

Second time with Professor Sisson...I wish he taught every class I need in Communications! He is the BEST PROFESSOR THERE IS! You do have to study but it's not difficult if you apply yourself. You won't want to miss a class!

Dr Kim is OUTSTANDING!!He made COMM sooo much fun. For those who have trouble speaking in front others, Dr Kim will make it easy. All in all, he's the best Comm teacher at GPC. Give that man a raise!!

I don't necessarily think Dr. Sisson is "hot" but didn't want to mess his ratings up lol. I was terrified of public speaking and he made it so much fun! All you have to do is take notes and deliver. He ALWAYS offers to hep with your speeches outside of class too. I got an A on all of my speeches, so an A overall. Great teacher ! TAKE HIM !!!

Honors Communications Class. Best class I've had yet because of my fellow students and the excellent classroom environment Dr. Sisson created. Be open to being "put on the spot" and be fearless and you'll love his class.

He is fun and likes to joke in class, but it's not against any students in class. He enjoys teaching and very nice. He will give out quizzes if you didn't read the pages that you were assigned. On my first test, the format was multiple choice and essay questions. I passed it with an A. If you come to class and take good notes you will pass the tests and the class. I recommend taking him.

Dr. Sisson is excellent at what he does. He teaches in a way that gets you to think! Like most, I was terrified of public speaking but he allowed us to practice and visit with him during his office hours, after class, etc. He's hands-down one of the BEST instructors at the college. TAKE HIM!!

He is a very good teacher. We werent assigned any HW except to review for the 2 multiple choice tests and Final writing test, and to prepare a presentation. He is engaging, humorous, clear, and easy to understand. He is very friendly and encouraging, and brings real life examples to explain communication.

She was great! Papers werent overly scrutinized. The class wasnt too demanding and she delivered the material well

He genuinely cares about students and gives good feedback. I didn't expect to get an A in public speaking, but I did. He will let you do your speech again if you didn't do too well the first time (assuming there's time). He doesn't offer extra credit but you don't need it. Show up, do your work, and you'll be fine.

Professor sisson is also a teacher on the clarkston campus and i truly do love him. His lectures are bomb and interesting. There are three easy exams, participation grade, speech, and speech diagnostic. Hearing everyones speech is so fun and entertaining because you learn so much from the different information. I highly recommend taking this class!

He makes you write speeches and helps you every step of the way and gives good feedback. Makes it very clear what he is looking for

Great professor. He is super lighthearted and empathetic to students. His class is an easy A. There's a speech students have to present, but he walks you through the steps to succeed. It would be very hard to fail his class. Just show up to class and participate and you'll do fine.

He was so knowledgeable and inclusive! Loved his 3 projects, and there is no final for his class, very easy A if you work for your discussions! Very light workload, he is very kind and caring.
