I had her for lab. Really nice but tests really hard. She's all over the place. Gives notes ahead of time and expects you to learn it in a day

She is an exellent teacher. you dont use the textbook because she prints out all the notes for you and shows pictures in class. She is very clear and makes you understand everything. you have to study a lot in order to pass but if you study the handouts you would Ace her test. she is a nice lady outside the classroom too and very helpful.

Professor Walsh is a great teacher. She gives outlines for each unit and only tests her students on that material. She will give extra credit on every test which typically comes from the notes in class. If you study her handouts and come to class, you will do fine. She is 100% clear and very passionate about A&P.

Very helpful. Very smart, she knows her subject. Very detailed. If you study the textbook, you will ace the test. She gives notes as well but they are only supplementary. Read the chapters she assigns, and you will be good!

Just had Professor Walsh for A&P 1 Sunday session combined with Collis for lab, the school is fortunate to have these 2 professors. Tests are hard, but if you read handouts & scan textbook you will be fine. All the people who said she is not a good teacher are nuts, they just didn't put the effort in. Study her material, go to class, u will be fine

To the person who said she plugs numbers into a calculator, you neglected to mention there is extra credit on all exams... There lies your curve. Take notes as Prof. Walsh lectures and you will be fine, don't miss class or you will be lost. One of the fairest professors at WCC if she sees you are making the effort. I have her for human bio lab. she is A GREAT TEACHER..! Always gives you a chance to improve your grades. very helpful.. gives out helpful handouts and tests are always based on what was learned in class i learned more in lab then in my lecture class !! i def. plan on taking A&P with her in the spring..

The best teacher i ever had. If you dedicate the time necessary you will do well. She gives you a handout for each unit covered and tests from that. A & P isn't an easy class to begin with. Very fair and offers extra credit on her tests. BEST EVER!!!

Love her! Test are based on her notes strictly, no need for textbook reading she puts in her notes that she hands out, just memorize her notes and your good. I was scared to take A and P 1 from everyone talking badly about it but she made it easy

I took Prof. Walsh just for the lab portion of A&P2. She was not an easy professor, that's for sure. But she was clear, interesting, animated, funny, and overall a great professor. At first I was jealous of the other lab for having the "easier professor" until they shared their grades. Looks like harder material + better teacher = better grades

She's really nice professor. Talks fast. Gives away her own notes. Tests aren't hard, based on the sheets she gives you. I had her for general bio and didn't find her interesting. She's not the first choice for me.

Great class. Explains contents well. Only tests on her notes. Very understanding. Highly recommended, and definitely is overqualified for the job. Shows a great of enthusiasm while teaching. Uses everyday stories, facts, and analogies to make subject matter a lot more interesting. Good class if you are looking to score high and learn well.

Great professor, wants all her students to excel. Class s hard enough, she helps out by giving copies of notes to follow and everything on them notes are exactly what will be on the tests. Highly recommend her.

If you know you're not gonna have the time to be devoted with your school work. Don't take the class. You'll end up blaiming the prof that you failed.

Prof Walsh is a great instructor. I think most of the professors at wcc should sit in on her class so they can learn a few things. All her notes are what is on the test. Study notes and you will ace the test. don't wait till last minute to study because you will be overwhelmed, its a lot of information. took her for lab and lecture. lab was great!

Prof Walsh is great. She explains the material very well and the handouts are very organized, clear & easy to understand/learn. Her test are usually 100 questions +extra credit (which I loved). She is overall amazing. Her handouts are clear no need to go into your textbook. If you need help she will assist you. She is very fair. I am going to take her again for AP2. I actually learned the material the first time she explained it. She gives you what you need to know and there is no "guessing" to figure it out. Take her you will learn!!!!!

I would take her for all my biology classes if I could. She was very approachable. I did not have to use my textbook once. Once you pay attention in her class and read the handouts you will pass. She makes the material so simple to understand. A&P is a very overwhelming subject,you must be mentally prepared.

You can tell her passion through her teaching. She's so happy and friendly. She breaks everything step by step before taking the lab and is always walking around ready to answer questions. She even does a review before handing out a quiz to make sure her students comprehend the material-A MUST TAKE PROFESSOR!!

Kim Walsh was a very good professor. Her test and especially the labs are very clear when she is taking her time to explain everything. Its good not to procrastinate and stay on your toes while taking her class . she is very helpful and i absolutely love her labs because if you understand the labs then you will understand the lecture even better.

She's amazing. I failed biology in 11th grade because my teacher was a dumb nut but ended up passing her AP1 class with a solid B. I slacked off for my first test, which was completely my fault but she is by far the best teacher ever. Though AP1 is the only subject i got a B in(I got A's in everything else) I loved this class the most. Work hard.

She is amazing!!! AP1 she was able to get everyone to undestand what she was trying to explain and she went over the material before the exam. She isn't doing AP2 but I would take her for my whole career....

Her class is by no means an easy A, you have to study often and put forth the effort. However, I loved her A&P labs; she was always so lively and has a good sense of humor (which kept students awake). Her lectures were always clear, easy to understand, and she provided the class with handouts to study from on each section. Very approachable.

She always starts on time, her tests are on the handouts she gives her students. She will make you work for your grades. She says the textbook is not necessary but I believe it Is a must. I had 6 lecture tests and 6 lab tests. I worked my ass off. Her door is always open for her students.

took A&P 1 and 2. She is my favorite professor at WCC. She gives handouts which are usually between 3-5 pages and that is all you need for the tests. It is a lot of information but it is all there so if you dont know something you know that. She is clear and fair. I recorded her lectures and listened a couple times after, averaged at 97. BE THERE

Professor Walsh is one of my favorite professors at WCC! She gives you packet of notes for every unit and explains the information very thoroughly. Her tests are based off of her notes and the questions are straight forward. Of course you have to study to pass. She is very approachable and always offers office hours if you need extra help. Professor Walsh is hands down the best professor i've had at WCC. If you go to class & study from her note packets, theres no way you can fail. You MUST make time for this class!! Not an easy A by any means. However, tests aren't too difficult. Don't bother buying the text book, I never even opened it bc all the test questions are from her notes

I took kim walsh for a class and got a low grade and had to retake the class and she literally says and teach the same exact way each time. So now i am passing with a high grade but i must say for someone to teach the same class all year around and never get frustrated and keep up beat that is amazing but she is clear and good i recommend her

I would recommend this professor. There are many test but the information you need to know is clear. Overall you will learn a lot and the lectures are very interesting.

First I state she gives you all the tools needed to pass. She will not test you on anything she didn't teach directly. She will give you a packet for each test and that is your lifeline, if you can retain the information you'll be fine. She's been the field for years so she expects you to work but if your serious you will get an A. She's a sweetie!

I only had her for bio lab, but she made learning so easy its honestly the only reason I did good in the lecture when it came to quizzes and tests. I usually hate science but she made learning very enjoyable

Professor has been the best professor I have ever had!!!!! She is so sweet and you can always approach her about anything you dont understand!!!! When I took A&P 1 I barely understood what was going on and my grades showed that but with prof. Walsh I get high 90,s in both lab and lecture. She gives you printed notes and that is your lifeline.

Professor Walsh is an amazing professor and makes Biology easy to understand (especially if you don't have a science background). She answers any questions you have without making you feel dumb (like other professors would). There are 9 quizzes but she drops the lowest 4, and gives them back to you at the end of the semester. The labs are easy.

Prof. Walsh is a wonderful professor who is very knowledgeable and has nice lectures. You don't really need a textbook since she gives you all the information you need in organized packets. You have to study hard though for her tests (test heavy class), she's kind, but, in my opinion, her tests are real hard. So study, study, study.

I took A&P2 with Professor Walsh in summer 2020. It was a quick 5 week course, with lots of information. She is really a sweetheart and so knowledgeable. She gives her students everything that they need to pass her exams. I would 100% take her again and recommend her to any student who needs to take A&P.

Shes such a sweet teacher and loves her job. Anatomy is of course hard so dont expect It to be easy. Her exams are definitely easier than the rest of the teachers though. Some questions can be a bit difficult but many are straight forward. Overall shes probably one of the best teachers in the biology department. Definitely recommend her!!!

I was nervous to take her class because I heard some bad reviews but shes actually really nice. Her lectures are quiet boring but shes very straightforward. The overall grade was based on 5 tests which is great in case you dont do well on one of them you can still pass the course. study and follow along in class and itll be easy to pass

Very nice Professor and she explains the material so well and so efficiently. The exams are reasonable as well as the time that goes with it. However, if you have a question and you try to email her she will takes a million years to respond .

I had her for A&P 2 for both lab and lecture and she is such an awesome teacher. For lecture, she only gives 5 test but the question are exactly like from her notes and she also gives a few extra credit questions. For lab, the she gives you pictures of the models with labels in them and if you study those, you will do well in her class.

Professor Walsh is a very valuable teacher & I learned a lot from her. Pace can be fast during class but she's responsive to questions via email. She's very clear about what you'll be tested on & gives extra credit too. I would take her for A&P II as well but she only has a 5 week summer option, I wanted the 10 weeks. But I highly recommend her!

I loved professor Walsh for lecture and lab in A&P 2. She is very clear about what is going to be on the exams by providing packets with all of the material. Anatomy and Physiology was not designed to be easy, but professor Walsh made it feel a lot less difficult. If you do poorly in her class, you truly aren't putting enough time into studying.

KIM WALSH IS THE BEST!! normally I would not write a review for a professor, but she is truly outstanding. A&P is a hard class, but she makes it tolerable and interesting. You definitely need to put the work in, but that is a given for any science course.

Professor is very knowledgeable and lectures are never boring! She knows her stuff! However she grades based off of 5 tests only no homework no extra credit so if you fail one you have to pass every other one to pass her class. She gives packets of notes and anything she draws will be on test! Prepare to study hard if you take her class

One of the best professors at WCC! She is super nice. She also goes over what you learned last class as a quick recap and makes sure everyone is on the same page. The tests are straightforward everything on the sheet she provides for you. No homework just lots of studying. She also gives around 6 tests for better averages on test scores.

AP2 is going to be hard regardless of who your teacher is. Professor Walsh simplified the whole course and made learning a lot of material pretty easy.

Amazing Professor! You can tell she loves Anatomy and Physiology and has a deep understanding about it. She never minds questions and is always up to help students understand. Class is based on exams no hw besides virtual labs. All of her exams are based on her study guides.When she says everything on the study guide is on the exam she means it.

I took Prof Walsh for A&P2. I wish I had taken her for A&P1. Her lectures can be long, she talks fast, pay attention. Bring notes and power points to the lectures to follow along, which helped me a lot. Prof Walsh, answers all your questions. No homework just exams, study daily and you will get a good grade.

Shes Alright. The only good thing is that she gives us a packet of notes and those notes is what's going to be on the test.. She gives no extra credit like other professors. Sometimes she's misleading with her test as well. Will give 5 questions on 1 chapter and 15 on something she reviewed in the class before the test.

This lady teaches science with passion and connection to the real world. She talks fast but does explain everything you did not understand, she gives a lot of extra credits to make the grade better, and she's really nice if you want to pass her class.

Professor Walsh is so passionate about Anatomy that it brings in her students to enjoy it. I loved learning from her and she teaches in a way im able to understand anatomy quicker. I would take her if you are not confident in science!

I wish she teaches all of my classes. Very straightforward what she wants from students and what will be on the tests. Study all of the handouts and you will get an easy A with knowledge as she really TEACHES, not just make you memory stuff to pass the tests.

Professor Walsh's AP2 class is challenging, but she provides clear guidance to succeed. Studying the handouts and using resources like unstuckstudy can make this course manageable. Attend lectures, engage with the material, and you'll learn a lot.

Walsh is such a great professor. Study her notes and you'll do fine. Her tests are long but the questions are so explanatory that if you studied, you'll know them. Her lectures keep you engaged and you actually learn with her. She also made the time to set up and grade a makeup lab practical for me when she wasn't my lab professor.

Take her class, if you want to learn, and if you can get in. Youngsters want an easy degree. As a 46 year old, returning to school after a successful 23 year tenure on Wall Street, with a BS in computer information systems, I thought it would be a tuff transition. I took AP1&2 with Prof. Walsh, and she recalibrated my mind. Next career is Nursing.

Had her for Anatomy 1. She's great! Love her energy, her lectures fly by and are very informative. Her packets are a lifesaver. You study the packet, you will pass.
