I took Wolfe for both freshman and sophmore level english. She is an awesome teacher. Extremely funny and she knows her stuff. Prior to taking her class, I knew next to nothing about writing papers, and now I do very well when I write. Gotta work hard tho

Talks fast, so you need to be able to pick up on things, but very helpful. Work load is on the heavier side, but easy. One of the best teachers I've ever had. Teaches in a variety of styles to meet everyone's learning abilities.

Great Teacher! Understands that not everyone is a whiz in English. Makes the class fun! Treats everyone equal, and gives everyone several chances to higher their grade. Don't get me wrong it is hard work, but with a teacher like her, ENJOYABLE!

Mrs. Wolfe is one of the finest professor's at Palomar. She is very approachable, has a great personality, and makes you learn. The class is moderatley hard, but worth the all the work. I had her night class and she always let us out early. Her grading is very fair. Will help you with any questions. I would definately reccommend her to anyone.

i didn't do to hot in the class, but that was my own doing, the class is laid back fun and entertaining, she's a great teacher.

I never did to well in English, but i learned a great deal from taking this class. I think Mrs. Wolfe is a great teacher. She is not only very helpful she keeps the class fun and entertaining.

mrs. wolfe is a great teacher...the person 2 below me is WAY off - she gives you so many opportunities to re-do work and improve your scores. Easy A, as long as you go to class and do your work. easiest, best english class that i have ever taken!

This class was awesome, I'm not too fond of English but I went to everyone one of her classes because she tells good stories and is quite entertaining. Grades fairly and the class is easy because she tells you exactly what she wants from your papers. Also she offers a good amount of extra credit. She's the best teacher I've had in a while.

Kim is a good teacher with a sense of humor and helpful w/ assignments. Very fast talker, upbeat, perky, and positive attitude. This class is hard, do the work, you can pass. I got an A. There is a lot of writing and a fair amount of reading, and the syllabus includes all assignments required. Research paper required to pass the class.

She is an extraordinary teacher. I came to her class thinking that I was going to fail becasue I got a C in ENG 50. I passed with a B. If you are willing to do ALL the homework (even if you get a bad grade back) you will pass the class. She gives many opportunities to pass this class- If you don't pass this class its becasue of YOU. Loved her!

Prof Wolfe has been one of my best English Teachers that I have ever had, on the first day everything seems overwhelming, but as time goes on the class gets relatively easy, just do everything she gives you and you should do well, i got an A, I foud her very funny and sarcastic, if you dont like sarcasm, dont take her, but I say TAKE THIS PROF!!!!

Amazing teacher. I am a high school junior and I took her class based on a friends opinion. She was amazing. Do all the work on time and take advantage of the EC and you will have an A. Always responds to emails with questions on assignments. Whoever thinks her class is hard is not doing the work. TAKE HER CLASS!!!

She is so funny! her stories are great. fast class but if you turn in the work on time and go to class you will be alright. fair grader and lets you do revisions on work. lets you turn in work late and is totally cool if you dont show up to class. no tests! just essays. oversll a good class and a good teacher she makes it exciting!

Kim was the best teacher I have ever had, she changed my life. The first day I thought I was going to hate her because the class seemed so crazy but by the third class I loved her. She teaches how to improve upon your writing and I now feel like I can take on the world. She offers extra credit, and allows you to redo work for points back.

Kim is one the best instructors I have ever had. I am not a fan of writing tons of papers and she made it easy by choosing interesting topics. she teaches informative and useful rules and tips for MLA. Plus, she is funny, charismatic, and super warm and friendly. Take this instructor if you want to do well. Hands down, THE BEST!!

There's a lot of writing to do, but she's the best teacher I've had so far at Palomar. She tells you exactly what she wants, over and over again. Very reasonable. Let her know beforehand if you have a good reason to miss class. be on time so you don't miss journals and in class credit. Do extra credit, start on the final paper early.

Kim is an AMAZING teacher! She is histarically funny and very clear on what she wants. She's part teacher-part stand up comedian. You will LOVE going to her class. She comes off a bit mean the first few days to chase off the slackers. Do the work, attend class and you will pass easily. Lots of chances for extra credit and revisions on essays.

I was dreading taking ENG 100, but Mrs. Wolfe is seriously the best English teacher I have ever had. She makes class fun, she always keeps her students entertained and always has hilarious stories to tell. I highly recommend taking Mrs. Wolfe. The workload is fairly easy and she always is there to help out. You will not regret taking her!!

Best English teacher I have ever had. She is laid back. She grades hard, but she lets you do 1 rewrite for a paragraph and 2 re writes for the five essays, in which has all the grading mark on them from her. Ending up getting A's and B's on all the essays after the firt one. She tells you exactly what she wants. I highly recommend her!

kim is very real with her students. her sarcastic sense of humor is great in class. Shes a hard grader but is very helpful and clear as to what she wants done. She shows that she cares about her students. Not an easy A. Buy the book! We used it everyday. The amount of work is reasonable.

Currently taking the class. I hate English and was not thrilled to have a 4 hour English class, but I actually look forward to this class the most every week! She's hilarious and makes the 4 hours fly by. Kim is awesome!

I took her class once a week at night, let us out early every week we were out by 9 guaranteed & class started at 6, she is hilarious class is pretty fun, my favorite class to go to even though i hate english Very helpful & understanding, it is very intimidating the 1st 2 classes 5 essays and one 10 page research paper everything else is easy

Professor Wolfe made an impact as an English Teacher when I first started School. She does not teach 50, which I was bummed about, so once Fall Semester rolled around, I took her English 100. English is my worst subject, but by the end of that semester, I rocked the final research paper with a solid B. She's super helpful and energetic. Take her!!

Mrs. Wolfe loves to ramble and tell stories, & she has a rad sense of humor. Tough grader but understanding and gives great tips. This class has LOTS of writing assignments, and both books are mandatory. However, if you do your homework, pay attention in class, and listen to Mrs. Wolfe's suggestions, this class will not be too difficult for you. :)

Best professor ever! English is boring and she makes it fun and interesting. Her lectures are good and she is super funny. Do not take this class if your plate is already really full because she makes you work for that A. This class was the hardest one I had, but it was also the best. If you need help, she comes through. You'll never fall asleep.

I LOVED English 100 so much! It has been by far my favorite class that I have taken at Palomar :) I took her class over 3 years ago and I still have fond memories of being in Kim's class. English comes fairly easy for me, but I wouldn't say she was a hard teacher by any means. She is hilarious, caring, and overall a really amazing professor!

Taken over summer, so it was a very daunting amount of work, but her guidelines were extremely clear and "procrastination proof" if you apply yourself at all. She allows a certain number of late/revised assignments and provides extra credit opportunities. She's super fun, very receptive, and very encouraging. Highly, highly recommend for anyone.

Miss Kim is such a cool person and a rock solid choice for English. Yes, there is a fair amount of work but is all justified when you notice the gradual improvement in your writing. The A is very much in reach if you put in the effort, she gives plenty of extra credit and very reasonable time to turn in assignments. Also, her feedback is helpful.

She gives a lot of homework and there is a lot of reading and writing. You will have to write a lot of essays. I took this class over summer so it was probably more fast paced. However, as long as you try you can get a decent grade. She is super nice and always willing to talk to you personally or email you. I would definitely take her again.

Kim is super rad. She explains things very well and is very clear in what she expects. My favorite professor this semester by far! Almost every class something is due, sometimes it is essays, other times reading responses. Stay up with homework and it is not a big deal, but slack off and you will have some long nights.

Great amount of readings and homework. Lots of essays but they are short so it's not too bad. I reccomend doing all the extra credit that she offers it will help your grade tremendously. You must be willing to put an effort in your assignments. if you do so you are guaranteed an A for sure.

English is not my first language, so I was worried about how difficult the class would be, but it was not. If you are not a native English speaker you should take the class with her. You have to do a lot of writing, but the teacher is pretty nice and she answers all your question.

5 short essays, a research paper (which you work on all semester) a daily journal entry and a few other very short writings - nothing difficult. She is an amazing teacher, who knows everything about English. If you are looking for an easy A, this is not your teacher. If you want to how to write a good essay, this is your class.

Before taking this class I hated English and never received an A on a paper. I was surprised at how well I did in her class. She genuinely cares about each student and is understanding. This is not an easy class, but if you do all your work and actually try then you will definitely learn a lot of information and do well in the class.

Took a 6 week course over the summer. I hate writing but she made it fun. She is approachable and keeps it real. She will give helpful feedback and helps with the research paper a lot. Since the class was extremely accelerated, the coursework seemed a bit overwhelming but doable. She did the best she could fitting 16 weeks of work into 6 weeks

Wonderful professor! Take her class!! Her lectures are enjoyable, she knows her material and what she is doing, and wants her students to succeed. She also keeps a good attitude despite her situation. Last semester she was in like three separate car accidents on the way to class. But she always showed up the next day and taught with enthusiasm!

Very nice and very funny. Accessible both in and outside of class. One short reading response a week and three larger in class and out of class essays. Two tests, both open note. No midterm. Your "final" is a research paper on any topic you choose due at the end of the sem. Gives helpful feedback on essays and compliments as well when they're due.

Kim is a great English professor. Writing essays is not everyones favorite thing to do but she has a way of making it fun. She is very informative. Not much homework is given and the final is a research paper on a topic that you choose. Take her class if you get the chance because it is almost impossible to fail.

This is the best professor at Palomar College, hands down. She makes all of her assignments fun, engaging, and personal. Only a few papers over the entire semester, all with easy and fun topics. As long as you stay on top of the assignments, this will be the best class you take. She is super responsive and cares about her students succeeding.

Prof. Wolfe made ENG 100 a breeze. She genuinely cares about her student's success, and is VERY accessible. She breaks down the main assignment into smaller steps to help with the work load, and she gives great feedback. You really have to try to not get a good grade in her class. She is willingly to work with students on due dates occasionally.

Professor Wolfe is a good teacher and I learned a lot. However, there were 5-7 assignments due every week & grading took a while. She rarely gave out full points on larger assignments but gave useful feedback, so try your hardest. I enjoyed her tone and the organization of her class. Don't overthink the work and start the research paper early.

Kim's an amazing English professor who truly cares about her students and their success. This class was easy, but had heavy workload. There was lots of reading/writing, a decent amount of assignments due through the week, & a Research Paper due at the end of the semester. If you do the work and follow the prompts, Kim makes this class easy to pass!

Professor Wolfe is amazing. She takes you back to the very beginning by teaching you the basics of English. To often Professors are too focused on building on what you should already know. But not Wolfe. She gives amazing easy to follow lectures and responds to questions very quick. This was the best English class I have ever taken.

I loveeeeed this class. She's so funny and overall great energy to be around. She grades very easy but also gives you UNDERSTANDABLE AND VALUABLE feedback. She's a very understanding person and will always put a smile on your face. 10/10 would recommend.
