Not a bad teacher. Sometimes, however, you get the feelings that she is overwhelmed by the responsibilities of her job. She does help her students though but just gets little cranky!!

Kimberly is an awsome teacher, knows her material, allows for much in class discussion, and is very helpful to the students inside and outside of class, although she sometimes loses emails and papers; seems somewhat disorganized, but oh well.

I highly recommend you take English with Kim; she is not biased in her grading. She sure can find those comma errors though! Watch out! (lol) I'm going to take 211 with her. She has a lot of really good business advice.

Advice: if she has time to help students, definitely get as much as you can. You wouldn't believe how much red pen will come back on your paper. The rest of the class is nice though, but to me grades are quite important.

LOVED this class. Her selection of literature was the best. I enjoyed most of the stories we had to read. Make sure to take notes in class because she usually doesn't go over the material twice. She is also very entertaining.

This professor was very knowledgable. She was clear and concise. She was tough but very fair. She covered everything. Would recommend her to anyone who is willing to learn something. Super.

LOVED IT. Great teacher who enjoys her subject. With papers she will let you have an extension if needed w/o taking off points. Can be disorganized but not really. I am going to take another clas with her.

Wonderful teacher. I took her world literature class a couple of ago and absolutly loved it. Tests are pretty easy and there's only two essays. Highly recomended.

I liked this class a lot. She is very helpful and she explains english in a way that is easy to understand. She truly cares if her students are learning what she's teaching!! I would highly reccomend her to anyone taking an english class. Study your english at home, she doesn't always assign homework.

Kim is a great teacher. Her class can be fairly easy if you come to class every day and pay attention. The only people i know who thought her topics were hard were the people who hardly showed up for class. Paper topics are discussed clearly in class, so if you show up you'll great! I highly recommended her for english!!!!!!

I loved her class. She does go political...often...and I always thought the class should be called Debate101 instead of English, but she is very fair, and friendly, and easily approachable.

Great teacher, yes she does share her views on politics often. But her emphasis is CRITICAL THINKING in regards to english comp. Of all the english teachers I've ever had I can say she grades accurately, if you can prove your point within an essay it doesn't matter the point she'll grade based on Merit. Best Teacher I've ever had.

Her criteria is demanding. Papers require a great deal of research and delivery of content of resources. Subjects are most commonly linked to green conservation.

I enjoyed her class. She isn't easy on her grading, but how else are you going to learn if you don't see ALL your mistakes? I enjoyed her class, and her topics! She made the class fun and more interactive. I miss being in her class, I would take more of her classes if she taught more than just ENG 098 and 101.

This class was fantastic, she was very helpful. She did show up late very often and she didn't always attend to the end of the class but we were there for 2 hours and it wasn't necessary for a 098 class.

Great Instructor!!!! Funny in class always willing to help. She is the best at what she does and takes pride in teaching. I highly recommend her and I'm sure most people that take her class do as well so you better register early to get a seat in her class for they do fill quick!!

Kim is quite the stickler for grammar, but she does review everything in her lectures so it's pretty easy to follow. Her lectures are really interesting, and she's up to date with many current events. There were 3 essays total, each with a clear criteria but if you skip a lot of days you might miss out on some important notes. I enjoyed her class

I took English 101 with Sullivan and really enjoyed the class. She was pretty clear with instructions for essays, and re-opened quizzes on the last day of class for re-takes. She wants her students to pass. Lots of inn class discussion which is fun! Would recommend her.

I haven't had a nicer teacher in all my years of learning. She teaches well. Gives great examples of what to do and not to do on essay's. She does talk politics a little too much in my opinion, but this is America and you gotta love her for speaking her mind. She's witty, humorous, and I can tell she has a big heart. I adore Prof. Sullivan! She was so kind and understanding. She was more than willing to work with students if they had questions or just needed some extra help/clarification. She was very amusing, relatable and easy to listen to. She had us write 3 papers during the quarter and was very involved in the writing process.

She is absolutely amazing, one of the most caring professors I've ever had. Had to write 3 essays, and only had a hand fun of test/quizzes.

Prof Sullivan is amazing! I don't get why her rating is 3.9? But anyways some people take everything so serious. Anyways, she is so helpful, The whole quarter there are 3 essays they are easy peasy. Kimberly is a funny, and very caring professor. Easily the best instructor I've ever had. English/Writing used to be my most hated subject until I took her class; now it's my favorite. My writing skills are still far from perfect but they have improved so much since the start of the term. Looking forward to taking her ENG101 class next term!!

Sullivan's strict about her standards, more than once I had to redo an assignment. She's very understanding and eager to help everyone succeed. And her class was engaging and funny. She's also makes sure everyone knows they can reach her outside of class and made every effort to be available. Be wary of her standards but I say take sign up!

Kim was awesome! Her expectations are clear and she will go above and beyond to help you as long as you communicate. I took her for 101 and 102 and enjoyed both classes. She would zoom anytime I needed help. Most tests could be retaken and some assignments could be revised and resubmitted.

Professor Sullivan is an incredible teacher to have if you're willing to put in the time to read and conduct a proper research paper. The final research paper is worth 50% of your grade, so don't procrastinate. She's easily accessible and willing to assist students by any means. I highly recommend taking her course!

Professor Sullivan is a fantastic professor, if you can take her class, I highly recommend it! The work load isn't bad, and if you show you're making an effort she will grade you well. She also will tell you were to improve, and is easy to contact. I recommend going to office hours as she has them twice a week and is always there (summer quarter).
