Stassen was a lot of fun; she is hilarious and relates to college kids very well. Her class was never boring and the notes were pretty straightforward. The tests are a little tricky to study for; they usually cover more than are on the study guide but she grades pretty easy.

Very easy to pay attention to in class. Copy the notes from her overhead, go to the study session (they really help) and study, you will do fine. She has pretty easy tests. And there is a big extra credit assignment.

I really liked her class, it was very informative, interesting, and had useful information for your everyday life. We weren't given just busy work, which was a plus and I think this class is worth taking, that is, if u are interested in Health Science like

GREAT class. She made boring stuff interesting. THere were tons of notes though, and she moved really fast. I would totally recomment Stassen to anyone looking to take HSC150. She's hillarious, and you learn some neat stuff too.

Kim Stassen is a GREAT teacher. She makes a core class very interesting, and made lectures fun. She really relates to the students that she has. I loved having her as a teacher. I would take any class that she taught.

Mrs. Stassen is a great professor! She always had the class laughing and interested in the material she was teaching. The class is very informative, but her teaching style makes things light and fun. I would recommend this class and teacher to anyone :)

She's a cool teacher, sort of reminds me of Tina Fey the way she talks and conducts herself. Easy class as well, especially if you go to the review sessions.

Mrs.Stassen was by far my favorite professor this semester! I actually looked forward to her class because she kept it interesting! Your grade is based mostly on tests; however, she reviews the test and covers almost everything you need to know! She does expect you to write down the notes, so you have to be a good, quick notetaker.

Really sweet lady. Isn't afraid to talk confidently and comfortably about sex, drugs, death and other touchy issues. She really relates to her students. Go to class, take notes, and study them and you'll do fine. She curves exams, too. She's so nice she doesn't defend herself when the class starts packing up 5 min. early...that's kind of sad.

Kim is a great prof!! I loved her class, she kept our attention by putting some humor into the topics. She relates very well to her students and knows what to say to grab our attention. Her tests are kinda difficult if you do not go to her review sessions, which is during class time so that makes it nice. I would recommend her!!

She is an amazing teacher! She knows how to add humor to the class so that it keeps your attention. Even when talking about pregnancies and STD's she is able to add humor so that its enjoyable to go to class!

This lady is awesome. First day of class, she told us that if we wanted to get the book, we should read it in the first week. She followed that by saying, "If you don't read it the first week, I know you will that drive by week 2 so you won't read it at all." Funny lady and understands college kids. Easy tests and a lot of laughs.

I really liked her. Made me laugh. When I actually payed attention I did well on the tests, but I was bad about paying attention and actually going. She does take attendance EVERYDAY! So go to class. I screwed myself there. I would recommend her to anyone else!

Kim Stassen HAD TO have been born in july becaue she is HOTTT. I heard her daughters are pretty easy on the eyes as well. Not to mention she's a great prof, really knows her stuff.

She is pretty good at explaining the material and has a sense of humor. We don't go over everything, but all the power points are on blackboard so it's an easy class.

She's hilarious, so it's not your average dry lecture. Go to her review sessions that she says are optional (she tells you almost everything that will be on the test).

Shes funny and nice. She is willing to help you all the time whenever you want. Go to the review sessions. They are super helpful.

Very helpful. Teaches off the power-points. Didn't open my book once, so don't waste your money, just come to class and take notes. She is really down to earth and willing to work with you.

She is very happy and made me laugh a lot. If your class asks her to have a study session before the test, she will dedicate half a class time to it, so I recommend that. Her class has only a few easy assignments.

Teaches off power-points (which are given to you). Goes over what to review for the tests. She is really nice and tries to make class enjoyable. Outside of class, you won't have to put much time in, besides online "Mastery Content" and doing study guides (optional) for the tests.

Professor Stassen is amazing. Her class is very easy, you dont need a textbook, and she posts study guides/PowerPoints.I would totally recommend her for anyone taking this class. Grades are based upon 4 tests, small homework assignments which arent due til the end of the semester, small portion of attendance,and she gives extra credit.

Her lectures are interesting and she is actually pretty funny. She takes attendance but that is the ONLY reason to come to class all her powerpoints are online. You have hw assignments but she opens them all up at the beginning and then you have all semester to finish at your own pace. Test are hard for no reason.

I never went to class and still got a decent grade. Pretty easy A.

Lectures every class but she makes it easy to pay attention because she relates it to students. She's really funny. She offers extra credit. There is no final, just 4 tests that are easy since she posts her lectures and a study guide. Don't need book but could be useful to skim before an exam. Didnt need this but didnt realize until it was too late

Professor was amazing. She was very down to earth and cares about her students. Attendance isn't mandatory, but she will bump your grade up at the end of the semester based on your attendance. NO HW. Gives 30-50 points of extra credit. Class is easy and she is a great prof. Highly recommend.

She made lectures as interesting and fun as she could. She's hilarious and works well with her students. Her final is non-acccumlative and you won't need a book. As long as you show up to class, do a couple assignments, and show up to take the exams, you're golden.

Kim is the best prof! She gives lots of extra credit and makes it very easy to get a good grade. We had four tests including the final, and the final wasn't even cumulative. Don't buy the book because she posts everything you need to know in a powerpoint to blackboard

Exams500 points, HW65 points but dont let that scare you because this class is one of the easiest I've ever taken. 5 tests total but she gives AMAZING studyguides & review days. Her HW are easy and very interesting/fun. No one actually pays attention in class, but she does mark attendance. She also provides lots of extra credit. Great & fun prof.

I loved this class and this professor so much. Halfway through the semester, I found out that my major no longer accepted this class, but I still enjoyed going and it was a decent GPA boost. Stassen is extremely funny and can make a joke about any topic to keep you entertained.

Dr. Stassen is an amazing professor. She is hilarious but doesn't let her humor get in the way of her teaching. You do one project but other than that the class is all lectures. The tests are tricky at times but as long as you do a quick review before taking the test you'll do fine. If you're taking HSC 150, take Dr. Stassen!!!

Kimberli is by far one of my favorite teachers! She does take attendance but it's a sheet that's passes around, just have to check your name. Just goes over power points and the study guides/tests are straight from the power point. Kimberli is a really funny teacher and makes the class entertaining. Mrs. Stassen was is my favorite teacher this semester! She's easy to talk to and she's genuine. She's also easy to contact and she gives out quite a bit of extra credit opportunities. If you pay attention during the lecture and study for tests you'll do great in this course.

she was my favorite teacher i had this year. she is so sweet and so funny! i always looked forward to going to her class. it is a very easy class and she gives multiple opportunities for extra credit. i highly suggest getting her as a teacher for this class!!

She is an awesome person! She does her best to make lectures entertaining. There is rarely homework and when there is, it is super straightforward. There are 5 tests which are more difficult than you expect them to be. Going to see her before a test helps. She also gives a decent amount of extra credit. Overall, a very chill class.

Ms. Stassen is real and understands her class is one of many youre taking. However, her tests were very difficult, especially in the beginning when she didnt go over exact material. Her study guides are very vague. There are five tests including the final. It was difficult to take notes in her class and know what exactly would be on the test.

Lecture Heavy -4 tests (400 pts. @100 each) -1 final (100 pts.) -Assignments (55 pts) Tests are based on lectures, outlines for tests not the best. Sometimes goes over outline for test if time allows. Class is cancelled whenever new test is published.

I absolutely loved having her for a professor. She really does care about her students and keeps it real. She provides opportunities for extra credit and is typically laid back. Her exams can be tricky but not too difficult at all. She provides all of the lecture slides on Canvas and says herself that the textbook is not needed whatsoever.

Really easy. She says attendance matters but it doesn't. You get like 5 assignments. Don't buy the book she posts powerpoints over what you'll need to know for the test. She'll email you if there's an assignment or extra credit opportunity. She posts study guides. She's funny and she cares.

Easy class. I left after signing in everyday and got a B+. Rarely any assignments but a good amount of exams. Exams arent impossible but you should study a little if you arent paying attention. No attendance points but she boosted my grade from b to b+ bc i only missed one class. gives a lot of extra credit on a random day of class towards end

Kim is an amazing professor who has hilarious stories, and nows how to tell them. She goes out of her way to add extra visuals and materials to insure understanding. Kim's only drawback is she very lecture heavy.

Kim is an amazing professor. I never got the chance to meet her due to the class being online, but she was always actively communicating with us every week. She even went as far as to open assignments and tests back up when there were students who forgot to do them. She is very nice and always willing to work with you to make you a better student.

She does her best to make class interesting, but at the end of the day it is a basic health class. You will go over a lot of basic knowledge you already know. That being said, the class itself is super easy. There are not many assignments, so you mostly just have to focus on exams that aren't difficult.

Kim is such a fun professor, I had her for two classes this semester and I loved both of them. You can tell that she really cares about her students and wants everyone to pass. Tests are online with no lockdown browser, the only hard part was she didn't give a lot of time to take them. Other than that, you turn in an assignment and get a 100% on it

Prof. Stassen is super sweet and keeps lectures entertaining. However, there are not many assignments but the exams are a bit tricky. With notes, I still got a B on all of them. Stassen makes jokes and has interesting stories that are on-topic to class.

I didn't think I would enjoy this class but I ended up loving it. She made the class fun and interesting and I always looked forward to it. Your grade is most reliant on tests but she prepares you very well for them.

She did take attendance every lecture, but it doesn't seem to have been for credit. She's very patient and made the class Death and Dying a little less depressing I think.

LOVE her! Super caring and really wants to help students. Attendance was taken every class. The class was pretty easy, just show up and take notes! A few very quick assignments here and there but other than that just exams (Open book).She is very understanding and sweet. She definitely makes a depressing-ish class a whole-lot better! You can easily pass this class. You can easily do other homework in her class and still know what is going on. This class is basically a middle school health class. Her exams are hard to complete on time. The exams are open-note, but she gives you 70 questions but for only 40 minutes. She is such a sweet professor though.

She is super chill, there are common sense assignments once a week. She makes lectures interesting for the most part, but assignments are super easy. Easy A and cool professor.

She is an amazing professor. The lectures seem to drag on at times and they aren't always the most exciting, but the professor was amazing. She cared about all of her students and even though you had to show up to class, she truly didn't care what you did while in class.
