good texas govt teacher. as long as you go to class and take good notes you can pass the class. Mrs.Cox was very helpful and willing to help with all your questions. she covers alot of material and will give you a very precise review for each exam..

She is really easy and helpful. For the test she tells you what will be on the test. If you fail a test that's bc you didn't make the time to study. All her work is simple and easy. The four small reviews she has you do are a easy 20 pts. I would take her class anytime!

Professor Cox's TX Gov class was great. She will admit that some of the chapters are very dry and she will usually end her classes early, especially for those aforementioned chapters. You can almost get away with not studying, as the tests and final are easy. Ms. Cox is a very kind, understanding woman and I absolutely recommend taking her class.

This teacher was very helpful and almost always let class out early. You don't have to have a book, she posts notes online. She gives reviews for tests, extra credit opportunities, and is really nice. She lets her political views seep out a little much (conservative) but she is a good professor.

Very clear and easy-to-understand material & lectures. Uses website where students create flashcards to share & gives extra credit for participating. If you use the website and study guides (she'll even tell you what to study on the study guide) you'll pass with an A and never need the book. Very understanding of "life happens" situations.

Great teacher, didn't study once and still got a high B, very clear on what will be on test while teaching the course highly recommended.

Cox is one of the best professors I've had by far. She's willing to help, kind, and very good at what she does. She reviews the test the class before the test. You do have to write a couple essays but they are not that bad and that is coming from someone who hates essays! There are also 2 class discussions, which aren't bad. I RECOMMEND HER!

Took her for both Federal and Texas Government. Best professor, the few homework assignments she gives are very simple and she grades very fair. Tests are easy and you do not even have to get the text book. Just go to the review sessions the class before the test and she will tell you the info that will be covered on the test. She is such an amazing lady, i took for texas government from 5:30-6:50, loved her grading system it was by points. She has one major project which is super easy not hard at all. I did it 3days before it was due. She is understanding if you miss class just let her know you wont be there. TAKE HER!

She is an amazing teacher, extremely easy if you do your work. Every week you get a couple of quizzes that are only 10 questions long. If theres something you can't find in the power points she provides it is online in quizlet. Has a couple of assignments but they are extremely easy to do if you follow the rules. Overall I loved this teacher!

Took her online course. she kept us very informed. Each week you had a quiz which was based off blackboard power points, sometimes a few homework assignments throughout, a couple discussion boards, and 2 tests. All tests and quizzes you can take until you get the grade you want. Textbook is online for free. easy class, just turn in work ontime

I took Texas government online and it was probably the best class I have ever taken. If you do your assignments you should get an A. There is one paper but it was very to the point and not difficult. Seriously just do the required assignments they are not hard and you will get an A.

Dr. cox is hands down the best professor. I am not a big history person, but she made it not only fun but easy to learn. You will have to do work, but if you try and follow all the instructions you will pass. Study powerpoints recieve an A.

Professor Cox was an overall great teacher. The quizzes are based off of the PowerPoint and lets you have two attempts. 3 quizzes a week and you can find the answer on the ppt. You also have to type a discussion and a paper every week which are both very simple. TAKE HER.

This professor is very straight forward and understanding. Zero complaints. Also offers extra credit I think 2 or 3 times? Tests are just like reviews on quizlet, easiest class ever. I also missed a good amount of days of class, but was never dropped. She just asks that you email her when you'll be absent and do your assignments.

You will not go wrong with taking her for GOVT. Very reasonable professor, very understanding, gives extra credit. The lectures are like any other lecture, they're long but I can say I did learn something in her class. Just take the time to do the work and you will be more than fine.

Take her class! You'll be more than fine. She does lecture but she does try to make them as interesting as possible. She realizes we have lives outside of school so she is fair but she wants you to learn and stay engaged as well. Therefore, come to class and you'll pass! :)

I would highly recommend taking her class. I am just now finishing up with her Fed Gov class and I am taking her again for Texas Gov. She is such a great teacher. She really does care. She does the lecture in class. Just go to class and fill out the study guides. She reviews before every test. The reviews cover what is actually on the test.

If you have to take Gov2306, I highly recommend Ms. Cox. I took her online class and passed with an A. As long as you do the work and follow her instructions, it's an easy A. All the info for the quizzes is provided in the Power Points and Word docs that she gives you.

I took her TX Govt class online, extremely easy criteria and homework. Every unit has a discussion board, some quizzes, and an essay due. She gives more than enough time to submit the assignments and also provides plenty of helpful resources and makes the assignments interesting! I am currently taking this course and its super easy. There are only 4 units and they are all super easy. So much so that I dont even need to read anything. She is very responsive, and is a good grader. Id take her again and recommend her!

Loved this class. It was an easy pass, w/o using the textbook. Few total pts means missing something small can affect your grade. I missed one DB comment on a DB I had submitted super early and forgot about it, and that 1 comment cost me nearly 3%. Great feedback, super friendly, cares about students. Quizzes have 2 chances each and are easy.

Super easy class. Take her! Her syllabus is clear on what she expects and wants. You have access to all the material from day 1 on black board. She sends reminders every week on what is due, so honestly theres no way you can forget. A txt book was provided for free but honestly all the material was also on the slideshows she provides. This was by far one of the best and easiest online courses I've taken. Dr. Kimberly Cox is clear and specific on her syllabus for what work the class requires. She is a sweet person, and she also answers emails appropriately. She gives great feedback on submitted work, and instead of tests after each unit, short essay papers are required.

Absolutely 110% that this teacher! honestly my favorite teacher at TCC! she makes Texas history so relatable. I took her 8 weeks online and we wrote a couple of papers, her work load is good!

She is amazing ! L She has 4 lessons. Each lesson 3 quizzes, a 1.5 page paper or just 1 , and discussion post. You have 2 weeks to get it done. Which is more than enough time. There are no test. And quizzes are open notes and you can retake it again p. The quiz is basically the PowerPoint she provides. She also cares a lot alway pa gives feedback.

A lot of writing (discussion boards and essays), but still a relatively easy class. I didnt use the book. I would just use the PDF file she provided for notes over each quiz. She allows 2 attempts for each quiz and drops your 2 lowest quiz grades at the end of the class. Shes probably the most caring professor Ive ever had! Take her class!!

Great Professor! 4 essay papers, and discussion boards, along with quizzes and get 2 attempts can use the PowerPoints she provides. Just do the work and you will easily pass. What I really liked about her is that she gives lots of feedback. You won't regret taking her class!

I took this course for Maymester 2021. The workload was very manageable. You are able to get ahead on your end if you choose. Mainly dissuasion board posts and replies along with short writing assignments with quizzes. Always gives nice feedback. I would definitely take this professor agian.

There is a lot of material and writing assignments but she gives you all the info you need in the study sheets. We had a quiz after each section, but no test. This class had a lot of work but it wasn't too challenging for online. Every two weeks you have 3 quizzes, 1 DB, 1 Essay. The answers to the quizzes were in the notes she gives and the essays are just your thoughts and opinions. Do the easy work pass. Don't fail. Don't take her if you aren't going to do the work but her class was easy

TCCD needs to use Ms Cox as an example for other professors. This is how you conduct an online class! Took class online/8 weeks. She communicated, she provided tons of supplemental information. She graded fairly, quizzes were easy after listening to her lectures that were added to her power points. Id recommend her for any class she teaches.

TAKE THIS COURSE! 4 units each with 3 lessons. Each unit has 3 multiple choice 10 question quizzes, 1 discussion board, 1 writing assignment. 2 attempts on each quiz and she drops the 2 lowest grades. As long as you put forth an effort and show you understand the material, you'll pass. Very easy grader, no tests, no papers longer than 2 pages

Took Kimberly Cox for a 2 week May-mester, easy class. No book required she provides lesson. There is a lot of reading, but it is necessary to learn and pass the HW and Tests. She does drop some grades at the end of the semester, so you really have to not try at all to not pass. Really easy class and she is very kind! Take her if you want to pass!

The difficult thing is that you need to look up and write an essay that meets the requirements, Quiz is very easy to test. Should take her class for the credit. No textbook, No heavy test. I could have very easy gotten an A in this class but I got lazy towards the end and ended up with a B. She is a very easy grader and actively involved in the class. I took her class online and the layout to how she did her assignments was confusing at first but once you figure it out it's super easy.

There are 4 units. Each unit has 3 ten question quizzes that you can attempt twice, one discussion board, and one essay. The essays and discussion boards are more personal responses rather than textbook, research heavy. It might sound like a lot but it is super easy. She's an easy grader. Follow the rubric and you'll receive a 100. She is very nice

I took her for summer 2024 and I loved it! She only gave us 4-unit w/ 3 quizzes, 1 disc board, 1 writing essay each. She answers emails quick and helps you in doing researching on your responses to her assignments. I learned more than I thought I would, especially in a government class that I consider boring. I took her 4 week online Texas government class. It was neatly organized. There were 4 units that each consisted of 3 lesson quizzes, a discussion board, and essay. The quizzes were easy. The topics were interesting. She gave thoughtful feedback and seemed enthusiastic about what she teaches.

TAKE Her her coursework is extremely easy just watch lectures provided and she gives cheat sheets that legit have the answers on the quizzes you can use them while taking the quiz I took her for a 5 week 12 quizzes (really easy since you have cheat sheet), 4 DB's, 4 VERY EASY papers and she is not a hard grader take her you won't regret!

Professor Cox is a great teacher a lot of DB post, test are done on Respondus. She does video lectures so take notes and review her study sheets. will respond to emails. I would take her again. You have to finish your assignments to go to the next assignment there is no moving ahead.
