Best teacher @ SPC.. Really goes over the material, I had her for Honors in the morning and i past with a B. Well worth waking up for in the morning......

She's awesome and a very interesting person. If you don't get an A in her class than you just didn't study.

I had her, in Greek Mythology, East West Synthesis, and western Humanities. She is an excellent professor. Uses visual and all different forms of teaching, to iinterest the student. Repeats the previous lecture in a form of questions and the students learn better.

This teacher is amazing with all her stories and the many places she's been!! Even if you don't like Humanities she makes class fun and keeps you so interested that you will want to take another Humanities class!!! I def. reccomend her!!!

Prof. Felos (don't call her Mrs)made this subject interesting, relative, and fun! She knows what she is talking about, the assignments are easy, two tests: mid-term and final which are challenging, but she reviews at every class, the paper is 800 words. She is not boring and makes you feel smart.

Great Teacher! She knows her stuff first hand because she has been to all of these places. She is so clear with her lectures that it is impossible to get a bad grade. One of the few classes that actually did not feel like I was at school. She makes it interesting

Her class is very interesting, and she does know her stuff. However, she is very into herself and talks about herself A LOT. She helps you out with grades, and is good at lecturing. Her skirts are way too short for her age, but she is a good teacher.

Ms. Felos has an incredible teaching style that really makes things stick (good notes, supplements, etc.)AGM is interesting by itself, but her personality makes it all the better. Highly recommended class and instructor! I wish this could be the same for other professors....

One of the best teachers that I have ever had! I never really had an intert in art until I took her class. I loved her so much that I also took Ancient Greek Mythology with her. That was an awesome class! I wish that there was a part 2 b/c I would take that too.

I've taken every single class with Felos and aced them all. She is a very easy teacher and even though she teaches different subjects, they all (except ancient greek mythology) have 1 midterm, 1 final and 1 project.

I LOVE HER! shes an absolute doll. her classes are worth going to, she tells lots of stories, its nothing but fun! her exams are cake, gives out way too much extra credit, and one project pretty much for each of her classes. i just wish she had more classes for me to attend.

She is the nicest teacher ever! At first i really did not want to take this class but she made it so interesting and sooo easy!!! You have to write an 800 word journal about anyone in history and you have to write a 200 word cultural activity paper, and submit one art article. Midterm and final are really easy!!! Easy A and you learn something!

Was looking forwards to this class so much I had the academic counselor open my account up to registration early. And I was DEFINATELY not disappointed.

Not only is she amazingly beautiful and great to look at, but she is one of the most interesting, knowledgeable persons, i have ever met! She has traveled everywhere, and has the most interesting stories. Class overall is hard, but the way she teaches makes it easy, and fun to learn.

Great Teacher!!! I was not looking forward to this class, i thought it was going to boring and just read out of the book, but its not. Theres alot of note taking but she write them on the board so that makes it easier, and if you just read over your notes once or twice before a test you'll pass easy

Attendance is only mandatory if you want to learn the subject. Take the notes, buy the supplement, but don't waste your money on "Readings in Western Humanity," as it is never referenced. This is a Gordon Rule class, so be prepared to write. Professor Filos makes the subject fun and interesting with her personal experiences in Europe.

HUM 2210/2233 are CAKE CLASSES!!! Need to take notes for test, only assignments are a 800 word journal, article about art, write 200 words about something you watched/visited dealing with art, midterm and final. All notes are explanatory, and she has awesome stories. GET THIS CLASS QUICK, FILLS FAST!

Professor Felos is fantastic! She explains just about everything you could possibly ever need and the assignments are relatively simple. She has so much experience from her travels and years of teaching. It's hard to fall asleep in her class!

I find her style of teaching to be great for the subject. I have had hum. teachers that will bore you to death with the details, when covering such a wide amount of material in a semester that just doesn't work. I feel like I learned and retained more information from her class. If you show up to class I don't see how you can fail it.

This professor rocks and she should know it! I've never had an educator who is as effective as she at capturing my interest and motivating myself and all the other students in the class to want to learn the Western Humanities. Had her twice...would highly recommend her to anyone.

I have had her for both Western I and II and both classes were really easy. Barely any work the biggest thing you have to do is a journal report. You take a lot of notes; just study them and an easy A. She loves what she is teaching and has interesting stories to tell the class about her adventures of traveling. I would STRONGLY recommend her.

Professor Felos is awesome ! She is really passionate about her class. I have her right now for Humanities East-West Synthes. You take a lot of notes so be prepared but the tests are easy if you study. No homework except for a Journal which is a big grade and she gives extra credit ! This class almost inspired me to change my major. Ms. Felos is awesome! Her class is so easy as long as you go every day. She gives a lot of extra credit and the mid-term & Final come straight from you notes that she tells you to write. She makes the material interesting and easy to remember. I wish she had a night class again this semester.

Be sure to get all notes. Being in each class really helps because she is such an awesome teacher even though attendance isn't mandatory. Don't need to read the chapters. A mid-term and final and then choose a person in the era and write a journal. Go to class and you'll get an A

She isnt strict on attendance but you need to go for the notes.Class is easy you just take notes, and some of the notes she has already typed for you. Shes so helpful. tons of EC. and if you fail your an idiot.

LOVE HER! I've never learned so much from one class. She goes over each section and once a chapter is completed, she reviews with a powerpoint. If you can answer the powerpoint, you'll do fine. No tests, just the midterm and final. A few assignments and a lot of extra credit opportunities Lots of notes so I recommend bringing a laptop to type them.

ONLINE course. 4 timed tests 50 ?'s in 60 min. worth 100 points, all questions are straight from her notes that she posts online, no mid term or final. 2 papers, 350 word min. Weekly discussions are fun topics and no word min. She is an AMAZING teacher, fun, with great feedback, great power points and notes. TAKE HER! You will be VERY HAPPY!!!

Such an easy class. The notes and supplement really helps you out for her 2 tests. Staying focus in the class is difficult at times but it is an interesting class. Plus she is very good looking for an older woman!

Wonderful instruction. Anyone who says she doesn't put work into the course is an IDIOT. She designed the entire ON-LINE course and was the first to use it. It's amazing. She spent countless hours on the powerpoint shows and lesson plans. She is an amazing teacher who loves her job and students.

I thought this teacher was so awesome and loved coming to class until I talked to her face-to-face...she's not very nice and very arogant. Her class is quite easy. You do have to turn in one assignment called a "journal"..its probably the most retarded thing ever and she grades quite harshly on it. Probably taking her online would be your best bet.

Online. Extremely easy. Discussions are irregular, strange yet enjoyable. Exams(4) are the big grades, text is not required, just read her notes and ppts. Extra credit for viewing her ppt and a 350wd review of her on campus lecture. She replies quickly to assignments/questions. You make this class fun or twist your face all you want; your choice.

Professor shows genuine interest in course and has personal experience/hands on knowledge from her travels. Can be snippy and rude when answering questions. Had a tenancy to be belittling when questioned and/or didn't care for a particular student (maybe time to retire.) Aside from her occasional attitude she is a good professor.

Wonderful professor! Very enjoyable class, both for the subject matter and because the professor knows what she's doing. I took this class online and I learned a lot. All you need to do are the discussion boards, view the PPTs, and study the notes. Tests are online. Would recommend!

Felos does very memorable lectures (she will act out the roles in plays, for example). She frequently reviews material covered during previous lectures. The book is almost never used except for picture references. Few grades in the class besides tests - we had to write a journal from the perspective of someone born before the 1600s.

I take her online and I am so glad I did. Her course is so easy to follow. She seems nice online, but it is probably different than in person. I do not need to talk to her much but when I have emailed her it's conversational. The class can be a little to easy at times, but it is up to the student to take advantage of the free time. The content and information in the course was interesting. Some of the assignments made me feel like I was in elementary school - they did not provide a college (or even high school) level challenge. Reading the book is not necessary in this class. Take this course if you want an A with little to no effort.

AGM was a very enjoyable class.If you can use this class for your HUM course,you should consider AGM.Professor Felos is great,her power points make the class a visual walk in Greece.If you follow the lesson tab,study,and view PP you will pass with no problem.

Felos is awesome. As stated before, you earn your grade. However, an awesome professor helps tremendously. She is very excited about her job and loves teaching. I would defiantly take her class again if I could. Plus, she is hot. I hope to look like her when I am her age!!

Took Online. You do not need the textbook. 4 tests make up half of your grade tests are taking directly from the lecture notes. Easy weekly assignments. She makes the class fun and grades fairly. Although you need a 91 = A which is odd. You can work ahead as well which is great. I did weeks of work in just a few days.

She's super nice but can be a bit snappy sometimes. Only grades are midterm, final and a journal which only has to be 400 words. Plus some extra credit. Tests come from notes but the notes are all posted on angel. Boring subject though so beware.

If you have to take Humanities, take it online. I finished the work for the whole course in one week, and just waited for the tests to open. Tests were exactly out of the notes. I aced the class without reading a single thing in the book, just using her notes.

Excellent instructor. Simply follow the directions and study the notes and you will ACE this class. Her integration of personal travels and experiences give credibility to her teaching. This Profess has had widespread experience traveling to most of the places covered in this humanities class. She used this extensive knowledge to enrich her instruction. She also was quick to respond on questions and personally gave feedback to my course submittals. I rate her at the top of the professors.

All tests are driven from her Lectures notes and power point files. As long as you keep up and turn in your work ON TIME with strict focus on her notes, you will receive an A. Awesome teacher! Very easy class! Take her if you need this class! Drop box assignments are super easy, find an article and send it to her, easiest A ever! 3 tests... they are hard. Very hard and do require all time! But have notes available and you can pass. Art museum writing was easy and for me fun, since I'd never been. No quizzes.

In this class you will learn humanities almost solely through art. You will have to memorize paintings and who painted them. If you are interested in learning about different aspects of humanities besides art I would recommend a different professor. Overall it was a fun class with lots of easy extra credit. You will get an A. Got an A without book.

By far the easiest class I have taken but also the nicest prof ever. Don't bother buying the book! The way she teaches the class though it is interesting and sticks with you, for the most part. Responds quickly. Once again on easiness, out of 1-5 it's a 10! 4 tests are the only thing that you actually needs to study for, hard!

Words cannot adequately express just how wonderful she really is at understanding what motivates students and applying that knowledge in her teaching. This was my second class with Professor Felos and I loved her. She is one of the easiest teachers I've ever had and her lectures are pretty funny. If she knows something will be boring, she tries to make the lecture as fun as possible. She has a review at the beginning of every class so if you pay attention to that you'll pass for sure.

This was the easiest class I have ever taken. Homework is super fun and interesting. Discussion post are where you can get as creative as you want. Easiest A I ever got, wish every teacher was like her. we all finished class a week early. She grades, and responds to emails very fast. She actually reads everything you write and is always positive.

I took her humanities class online. She gives you specific notes with line up with the questions on her exams. All her assignments are easy maybe one per week. Its easy to get an A as long as you stay on top of the weekly assignments.

I love Professor Felos. She was recommended by a friend so I decided to take her for Intro to humanities. She loves what she teaches, so she makes everything make a lot of sense, and more interesting. All exams are pieces of cake. She makes study reviews before the tests and goes through it with you. She is very inspirational and cares for you!

Classes are like this; you show up, take notes, review the notes on a power-point. That is 80% of classes, then on the class before the Exams you REVIEW EVERYTHING on the Exam. Lots of easy extra credit assignments you can do. Take this professor if you can, not only a easy A, but a great learning experience!

Professor Felos is definitely a professor I would take again. This is the easiest class I have ever taken. The only tests were the midterm and final, and we had a journal assignment which was impossible to not get an A on. She gives so many chances for extra credit. She would review everything in the unit through a powerpoint each class.

If you just read the material theres no way can't get an A!

One of, if not the best professor I've ever had as a college student... Teaches you the material by immersing you into the course and makes you interact with the history. Read the material, watch the slides and there is no reason you wont succeed in her class. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!

This instructor was by far the best online instructor I have had. Gives almost instantaneous feedback, which is personalized. Very organized, no question about expectations. She is very passionate about the subject. Dont buy the textbook, EVERYTHING is in the notes. You can seriously complete all of the assignments in a day. Super easy, but fun!

YES. She is the sweetest, easiest, and smartest professor I've ever taken. As long as you take notes (she talks super slow so you can) and do the assignments you've got an A. She legit pushed back the due date for a paper four times because no one had completed it. She has a ton of extra credit opportunities as well! Love her!

Took Professor Felos' online class and this is the best online class I have taken thus far! Work was fun and different compared to all my other classes. Face to face class sounds more appealing but when it came to her 50 question test, I like having all my notes in front of me to remind me what is what. I say online is better than face to face.

This class is the perfect elective choice! Very fun and interesting assignments. Do the work and you get an A. Great teacher.

Her exams are very simple if you get the notes and has many chances of extra credit. I love her as a person and a professor. I enjoyed it so much that im taking her again next semester. And sign up early cause her classes fill up quickly.

Fun lecture, but not engaging at all. She laughs at herself a lot& reads off the power points word-for-word during lectures. Two exams: a midterm and final. Exams focus on information from lecture, matching art to their time period/artist/style and generally have 50+ questions. Gives lots of extra credit. Easy to pass, even missing class 4 times.

Probably the easiest class I've ever taken but I feel like I've really learned too. Grading criteria is clear. Assignments didn't have a lot of needless filler. Pretty much 4 exams and a trip to an art museum. The Tampa Art Museum made me realize how much I had learned and how much I enjoyed it. Great professor!!!

Good teacher, gets straight to the point during lectures and tells you exactly what you need to know for the test. Assignments are consistent on the weekly basis before test.

Great informative professor, she's traveled the world and ties her stories in with her lectures. She makes humanities a fun class. She DOES NOT like to be interrupted during her lecture. Pipe down, and let her do her thing. Awesome professor. Really nice and easy going professor. Take her!

This was the easiest, most organized online class I've ever taken online. She developed this course herself so it's not your average run of the mill discussion posts for participation. she grades fast and is easy to get a hold of. Go over and print the lecture notes, have them handy for the tests and you'll pass. She's awesome, take her!

This is my 2nd class of hers. Light workload:easy discussions, 4 tests, 2 easy papers. Be prepared to read a lot! I will say that I took a summer class so it was accelerated but I think it would still be a lot in a normal semester. Her classes are so interesting, she shares travel stories that pertain to the course. Would take her 10000 times over!

She is the best, i've now taken 2 of her courses and would honestly think about a 3rd!! You need to go to class and listen to her lecture , take notes and you will pass. She is so passionate you can't help but listen to her every word!

I took professor Felos for introduction to humanities and she was by far the best professor I've had at SPC. Sure there's a lot of notes but everything is well organized which makes this class a breeze but fun all at once. So sad I can't find a class with her this semester :(

TAKE HER! She's Great! Took online HUM 2210. Very caring & helpful. Always gives feedback on every assignment. If you can take online. Very simple & easy to follow & manageable assignments. There is a lot of reading, but she tells you what's really important. I don't recommend the book - She has all the information on the notes & powerpoints.

Professor Felos is one of the easiest classes to take, but you actually learn. There is no homework at all and the tests are a breeze. I would take her for every course if I could, 10/10.

A little odd but a sweet woman who wants everyone to get an A. Teaches to the tests and if you don't get an 100%, it's your fault. Super easy class but it isn't boring. I'd love to take her again.

She hand writes the notes on the white board so she goes the same pace as you. Before the text, she gives a review guide with all the answers, and she shows you the exam review power point. If you show up to class and study the power point/ review sheet, you will pass!!

You may fall asleep in lectures. Felos cares about her students, however, she has no idea what she teaching when it comes to Greek. Half the things she taught were off of a Facebook, it was pointless and sometimes downright disrespectful to Greek people. She gives so much extra credit its impossible to fail, don't study for test, guaranteed A.

She is amazing. I took her for an online Greek Myth class and loved her so much I decided to take her on campus. She is loved by most so if you want her class you are going to have to fight for it. She is hilarious. I do not think there was a class that we did not laugh in. She will tell you so many stories. Do the extra credit essays. I got 100%.

This professor gives amazing feedback and cares about your success in this class. The class (online) itself is very easy, A lot of notes though. Gives about 5 major tests which aren't hard. Also the discussion posts are very easy, as long as you take notes, participate and do the discussion posts you won't fail.

Easy A if you read her lecture notes and PowerPoints. The class was very interesting and I learned a lot. She gave great feedback when needed. I would take her again in a heartbeat if she taught other classes that I needed. You don't really need to spend the money on a textbook as the test is on the information she provides in the notes.

She is awesome. There are no quizzes or chapter questions. We do not need the book. She writes everything on the board, so do take notes. There are 5 exams but are simple since she gives you chapter reviews for them. There are plenty of chances for extra credit. NO MIDTERM/FINAL EXAMS. Just exams 100 questions after every chapter. Super Simple.

Ms. Felos is a good teacher! Her lectures do carry on and sometimes go off topic but it makes up for it when she gives you the review for the test. It's an exact replica, all there is to be done would be to study the pictures online. She gives easy extra credit throughout the class and even at the end of the semester.

Felos is an easy grader and is fun to learn with. The class is intriguing and easy to keep up with. I would take this class again.

I thought she was a easy teacher. As long as you go to class get the notes and study before exams you're good to go. one thing I can say she is VERY repetitive and can be a little annoying. you do not need the textbook everything she uses from the book is in the power point.

Professor Felos was great. She always gave me feedback, her exams aren't that hard as long as you study the lecture notes. I did not purchase the textbook and I got an A in the class. There is no midterm or finale just four 50 question exams. There is a discussion question for each section and two essays. I really enjoyed this class!

I loved this class and Professor Felos is amazing. The tests are worth 100 points compared to all the little 10 point assignments, so if you don't pass the 4 exams you wont pass the class.

I took Ancient Greek mythology onlineofessor Felos was awesome. A great elective choice. Easy but creative discussions(low word count), 4 exams that are based on note readings, 1 essay (200-300+ words). Dont buy the textbook! All the info you need is in the lecture notes. Learned a lot of interesting AGM stories.
