She is really nice, really fun to talk to, and you can carry on an intelligent coversation with her. She is always helpful with asignments and very clear.

Shes makes english not a total bummer also not so much lecture which is good. she's also smokin hot which is also good

simple.... do the work and you get the points.. easy B,, but u might have to work hard for A. strongly recommend her. she is smart and funny also the teaching process and grading policy is very easy. but you have to be punctual about the homework.

Wonderful first college experience... made the class fun and made me look forward to going to class!!

this is a great class. she's fun and makes the class interesting. relates the writing topics to everyday things and make it easier to write about. a definite pick if you need a prof for english

An easy-going class...she makes you feel comfortable. She'll make you laugh almost every day. Tough on grading papers though...but anyone who is in college should know how to write a proper paper already.

I never had Ms. Hall for class, but she has to be the hottest professor at HACC Lancaster!

Kim is hot and the class is so easy all she does is talk politics in the class. If you have any writing skills at all you can pass the class without even trying.

I found Kim to be an easy grader. Her 101 class consists of 5 or so 2 to 3 page papers, with smaller assignments thrown about in between. In my class at least, only two of the papers were research papers. She is a nice woman, fairly young (late 20's). Her 101 class is not hard, and you should get a good grade if you do the work.

Professor Hall is great. Class discussions are the best aspect of the class (looks aside;), and assignments were graded fairly. As long as you have some writing skills, you will do well. Highly recommended professor; interesting discussions, fair grading, good looks.

If you are a good looking guy she will flirt with you shamelessly, however if you are a good looking girl she is very catty. If all else fails, she is not above taking it out of your grade. I did get an A, but the other profs were shocked by how much she took off for minor things. She hates overachievers and admits that she is an underachiever.

definitely could not stand her for 101. i complained about her every day. but now i'm taking her for 102. she's easy... but crazy.

First half of the course is all non-fiction, which makes it really slow especially if you don't like history. She makes it as interesting as possible, and keeps the nonfiction to a minimum

Had 101 & 102 with Kim. She's funny, tho a bit full of herself. Alot of class time spent talking about news/politics, or basically anything unrelated to the actual class. Voices all her personal opinions. It was fun tho. She doesn't "teach" all that much. Easy class, just put time into your papers. Grades fairly.

Took her for Major American Writers 1. She grades fair, but is not easy, however brings a lot of personal experience and knowledges of personal events into her lectures which greatly adds to experience. Recommended.

Class was ok. Very predictable. Kind of hard to get an A but it feels good when you do. Plus teacher is pretty.

Strongly recommended. This is a "real" college class. If you are ready for studying, she is gonna help you. If not, you are going to be outside of the class.

Very clear about what she's looking for, fun, and light lectures. She's very, very picky when grading papers, you should have at least three people who you know are great at grammar proof read your paper before turning it in.

Prof Hall was a fair professor. Her main priority is to encourage thinking and facilitate class discussion. I didn't see any of the negatives that others have talked about, difficult yes, but I expect college to be difficult. I'd like to say that she does flirt with the good-looking male students...and in turn, me. Sadly this is not true.

I've had 4 of her classes, they are all fun, class discussions are the key. If you are out of 101 you'd better have learned your Eng skills and not slack or you will get what you deserve. Cute dresser, and not your age, so don't treat her with a lack of respect!

Prof Hall was my favorite professor at HACC, I had both my Eng Comp classes with her. Meet with her in office times, get to know her. She will help/answer questions if pursued. She is sarcastic at times and might come off a little arrogant, but she is fantastic. I'd definitely take her again.

Had honors 101 with Prof. Hall. Grading- focuses more on syntax than content, but content still important. Ask for help-she'll give it. Essay topics- somewhat uninteresting & class worthless-disc. almost always off-topic. She enjoys complaining about the world. Take her class if you like blondes, have half a brain, and want to improve your grammar.

Second semster having Kim as my Professor and I really enjoy her classes.

I like Professor Hall's class...and if you're not strong in English she will give you whatever extra help you need. You have to do the work though so be ready.

I loved Kim Hall. I had her for two classes and I loved her. She does prefer people who are strong in English but she is always willing to help her students. You gain so much knowledge from her so the extra work is worth it.

I personally believe that, although she was strict in grading, she's really engaged and funny

I have had Prof. Hall twice so far and will take her classes every chance I get. There are comments on here about how she dresses and information about her husband that are unfair to say the least. She is a hard Prof. but she is fair. If you do your work, show up and pay attention everything is fine.She's awsome

If people want to complain about the way she teaches than fine but her personal life, clothes and age have nothing to do with teaching ability. She is great in my opinion. Putting someone down and spelling it wrong looks really bad

Professor Hall is awesome! She is super sweet and approachable. She doesn't pick favorites, but she doesn't like when people don't show up, don't do the work, and then expect help. It's college people! Anytime I emailed Prof. Hall, she responded promptly. Anytime I needed advice on an essay she helped me out!

I would recommend Kim Hall to all the students who are in college to learn and not for a grade. She is tough, but honest and upfront in explaining her expectations. Attending class, completing assignments and hw are the key to success. Try getting paid and not come to work. It is basic expectation in life. Do your part and don't worry!!!

Had Prof. Hall for Seminar, English Comp 102, and Intro to Lit. You should come to class with an open mind, prepared to read and write (a lot-these are English classes!)and join/initiate discussion. Picked interesting selections, including non-fiction and current works for ea. class. Gave great advice and direction to resources for class/college.

Hall is am amazing professor! She is meticulous with her choices for readings and assignments. She expects students to attend lectures, and come prepared for class. I'm at an Ivy now, and Hall's classes prepared me well to succeed there. If you want coddled, she's not the prof for you. You will have fun, and be intectually stimulated.

Professor Hall is very intelligent and very good at her job. She is pretty tough but if you come to class and do the work and follow the guidelines and learn from her instruction, you will do well in her class, as well as being very well prepared for your other courses and your career.

Excellent professor. Blended class had two weekly discussion topics and one journal entry due on Saturday night. 4 essays. Great instruction on how to receive a good grade, but you have to work hard for an A! This is definitely a "no-slack class." Once you complete the course, you will have actual knowledge that will be useful in many courses!

I have taken 2 of Professor Hall's classes and plan on taking her again next semester.She is very hard when it comes to grading, however she clearly explains what she expects on each assignment.She has always promptly returned my e-mails and made herself available to help me.Bevause of her I have done well on my writing assignments in other classes

She is an ok teacher but gets sidetracked very easily. Also, she expects the students to know exactly how to formulate each essay without giving much instructions before-hand. But if you have questions/concerns, she is ready to help.

Prof Hall is a great teacher. The class consists mainly of 5 essays and some online exercises. She gives you hand outs with her expectations for the essays clearly explained. If you put forth effort into this class, your grade will reflect that. If you don't, your grade will reflect that as well. She doesn't give tests or quizzes, which is a plus.

nice & interesting professor, I enjoyed her for 101 honors. there were no tests, only 5 (or 6?) papers, peer reviews, & a final. The books she chooses are interesting, however, you do have to read them. She doesn't grade easily, but if you put in effort + time to write a quality paper you will end up with an A or B. Grades the final very easily.

Professor Hall is a great teacher. She's fair grader - tough, yes, but welcome to college. Yes, you have to do your homework, show up for class, and pay attention. You also have to demonstrate solid writing skills (but since Professor Hall teaches college comp classes, it's another given). Great teacher, great class.

She was a very good teacher for my online class. She gives feedback on assignments about 70% of the time and she points out things you are doing wrong in your essays which is very helpful for me. She could be more organized though, she confused our class on different assignment due dates, however I think I would take her class again. Very laidback.

Professor Hall is a really nice lady, but she can be a bit giggly (which can be irritating). We had a journal entry due every class period and a final. There were 3 larger papers due through the semester which really weren't too difficult. Go to class to keep up with what is due! Books needed! I would take Prof Hall's classes again!

She is a tough grader, you will have to work hard to get the grades you want or are used to. I advice writing the rough draft ahead of time. After your first paper, IMMEDIATELY ask what you need to do to get a better grade. Grades are earned, definitely no easy A's. Submit papers on time, 3hrs late is late and will impact your grade. She's fair!

She is the best Professor I had so far. - She did not require us to buy books to save money, just had to print portions of a book or article. - Knows what she is talking about. - She is a thorough grader, so make sure you take part in the peer review and know what she wants (she is your audience). - She hates long paragraphs. Prof Hall is the best professor I have ever had. She is hilarious, very smart, and approachable. You can tell she loves her job. The class is a lot of work but I think it is worth it. She is very engaging and her lectures are very discussion based which is my preferred. She is super cool and has a really good sarcastic wit. 10/10 She is amazing!

This class was a lot of fun. Professor Hall is very kind and wants her students to succeed. However, she is not the best at responding to emails. Her coursework was straight forward, and as long as you do the work, you will pass.
