I had a great semester with Dr. Heckstall. In her classroom, we could talk about anything no matter how sensitive it could be. She is very respectful to us as students but also expects the respect to be reciprocated. Her workload was very minimal and attendance as well as being on time matters. Professor Heckstall is very much about business and inspiring. The class I took was only once a week on Monday, and the work is mainly online but if you do your work on time you will succeed. If you have any questions she will answer. However ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. Students came to class 3 minutes late and got called out in front of everyone.

She is very lenient and over all a great professor i would recommend picking her as your professor, I would for sure take the class again as long as you do the assignments you will be fine.

Once talked to this professor is very understanding while also being stern about what she means. She lets you know what you need to hear and not what you want to hear.

Easy course load there really isn't any reason you should fail, just do your suitable assignments. Professor Heckstall was rocky at first but because she genuinely cares. Attend class because it is mandatory and she's very strict with attendance (I got marked absent for being a minute late). Really easy class and I enjoyed the discussions we had!!!

I had the opportunity to take Dr. Heckstall for FRST101 and overall, I feel that the class went well. Attendance is mandatory & after a few absences, your grade will be affected. I do feel as if she's upfront about what she expects & time management will play a huge part in your success.

She is an understanding professor, and there is rarely any homework (aside from the final exam worksheet but we did that together in class.)Any assignments that she gives us we complete them together in class. You can only miss 3 classes, unexcused before the next absence impacts your total grade. Overall great class, and it was only once per week.
