She's very fair--as long as you complete the papers on time. Read the assignments and do the work. The class is not hard. And she is fair.

She is extremely organized. She gives you the essay prompts on the first day. Sends you reminder messages when things are due. She had an agenda every class and actually followed it. A lot of work but this is very easy class and she is a nice lady. I am glad I took her.

She was such a nice teacher.We didnt get on the best terms in the beginning but after i was like i love this teacher.So easy!I even told her.5 papers.2 in class, 3 outside.Great books she picked.& who cares if were only in class for 20mins?She understands that her class is not your only class so thats y she doesnt offer alot of hw.I loved her!!!!

Idk what everyone is talking about.. they are just haters. Mrs Jefferson is an extremely nice lady and very clear on what she wants and the setup of the essays. She understands that we have many problems and works with you to help you get through. She is pretty easy, so i highly recommend her if you just want to get through english for you GE.

Loved her class. She's strict on attendance but does her best to help her students, we got to pick when our papers were due! Work was very easy, just do your best on your papers and you'll do fine. I'm definately going to take her again.

Mrs. Jefferson is a very polite and caring woman. She's a fairly easy grader. I feel like im not a good writer and I still passed her class with an A. However, you do you to show her you're putting effort into your work. Class gets out early often which was kind of nice too.

Wonderful Teacher! I don't like writing AT ALL. But Mrs. Jefferson really brought out the best of my writing. She has you to do these activities to go along w/ your papers which I thought were unneccessary but actually HELPED. She is VERY STRICT on attendance but that's to help you because she let's you out early most of the time. Excellent teacher

Professor Jefferson has trouble sticking to her syllabus's guidelines, so she'll change things around in a whim. But they're for your benefit. Do the homework, discussions and read and you'll do just fine. If you want a flexible teacher, she is for you. She's at times not prepared, may show up late herself.

I took her for Eng101, she's a cool professor. But she is VERY strict about her due dates, you will have 3 papers. You will read two books. The midterm will be on Lovely Bones, and final on the book that you choose. Overall, a good professor, but very STRICT in her policies. If you have more than 2 absences, you will be dropped without notice.

For once a professor who rewards the hardworkers.Her syllabus is crystal clear and easy to follow.Some students (the slackers) may comment negatively about her but she is a fair professor.If you don't do the work on time then there is no turning your work in at a later time. Which is exactly what I expect from a professor. She's great. :)

Great teacher! Makes it super clear right off the start of what she wants. Write 3 essays, chapt presentation, book club commercial, and the final and midterm are also essays (extremely easy if you read the books). Loved this class easy and fun. Worth taking but don't leave essays till last minute. personally think its a great class. RECOMMEND HER

be on time and do everything! she plays favorites especially loves the students she had before 101 Talks about the things that students do that get on her "nerves"; for long periods of time.it got annoying when she talked about what students do wrong because she would talk about it for at least an hour doesn't want to hear excuses..she doesn't care

Amazing teacher! I wish she was teaching ENGL101 for summer. Most of her assignments are EASY and self explanatory , but she will go over it as much times as you need. She is down to earth! Keeps it real! If you are sensitive towards that.. don't take her. I only say this because some people think she's rude, but she's not. I hope this helps!

Honestly makes your work for your grade, but has made me a better writer when it comes down to essay's. Took her over intersession and was a lot of work but def earned my grade.

Great professor! Knows her subject and owns it. You will learn a lot. Be prepared and you will pass this class with a breeze.

I Don't recommend her if your forgetful, late, or if you tend to miss class a lot. You will have a test every week on vocabulary and context not to mention other assignments from your book. She will send you home if you forget your books, pens, ear buds ect. She has zero tolerance for any kind of excuses.

get ready to do online homework, and 9 reading assignments a week, if its summer school its 15 reading assignments a week,its not completely hard its doable ,however it can be difficult to follow with the rate they expect you to read, shes very nice and she works with you.

Shes a good teacher, she personally gave me some learning material clear and cut. Broke it down barney style for me how to write an academic college essay paper. It really helped alot. She may give long lectures, but deep down she does care for you to pass.

She is very uplifting and a very happy person overall. However, if you say something she told you specifically not to say or do(in her syllabus) she will make a mockery of you in front of class. All of the work is HOMEWORK. 3 essays and read 2 books for two more essays(final & mid). Easy class overall. I guess its pretty cool.

Take Her!! ,she is good teacher. I took ENG 099 and did not pass but with her i did PASS . I am taking her for Eng 101. She is very clear of how she wants her work and she breaks it down in steps. She is helpful and want you to succeed. If you do not understand the work she will help. It is not a hard class just do your work and you will pass.

I took professor Jefferson for Eng 099 and I passed. If you want a teacher that gets to the point and doesn't throw curveballs at you take her. She's very outgoing and generous with students schedules. Just like any other teacher You have to work for your grade so just show up, do the work, get feedback and fix it. Highly recommend you take her.

I took professor Jefferson for Eng 101 during intersession. She is hands down one of the best teachers I have ever had! She genuinely cares about her students & their education. I was scared to take such an intense course during intersession but I guarantee you she is perfect!!! a very sweet and caring lady. She was amazing!!!

Recommended highly. Just do what you need to do. I was worried about taking English for intersession, but since I had Mrs. Jefferson as an instructor, I am glad I did. It was a good choice for me. I took this class in the summer, Professor Jefferson is very kind and wants everyone to pass. Obviously if you don't do the work then you wont get the grade. It was fast pace, but that's because it was summer. The class is not hard at all , if you have questions just ask she will answer them.

She is great. Very easy going and flexible, just pay attention and do what your supposed to do - on time. That's it. Don't offer up any excuses....I wouldn't.

Amazing! Words cannot express how much of information I was able learn within minimum of time was given. Although you may think of this class as difficult when in reality it isn't. Don't close off into your shell. Vey understanding of lives being outside of student. But don't take for granted how much of blessing she is and great professor.

Professor Kimberly provides feedback about your work that can help you improve on your work. The essays, modules, and homework assignments weren't too difficult to complete. She provides a list of what she expects for each week.

When I first took this class, I immediately didn't like Professor Jefferson. Over the following few weeks, I learned to appreciate her. She challenged me as I am not great at English comprehension nor writing. Stay on top of your homework, readings, and discussions, and you'll be okay. She may be tough but follow the syllabus and you'll succeed.
