Professor Kamuca is the bomb! She is very fair. This is an easy class. I would reccomend her to anyone who has to take the class. I got an A in the class. She is easy but it is YOU who makes the grade.

She is an amazing teacher and I am so sad our class is over. She cares so much for each student as an individual because she wants us all to succeed. She is understanding but still expects you to do all the work, totaly fair! I have never cared so much about my work until she came along. Just by being so awesome she demands respect!

Most Amazing Professor I really learned and enjoyed this class and I HATE anything to do with Public Speaking but she makes it so you are confortable and makes it fun She has to be the best professor I have taken!!!!!

Very talkative, but good. A little bit of a smart a**. For those who don't mind that, it's ok. Really had no problem with her until the class was over. She missed one of my grades, which made a difference of getting an A in the class and when I emailed her about it, she was a little rude in her responses.

My professor is very helpful, she's a great listener and always willing to answer my questions regarding the class when asked.

She is one of the best professors I have ever had. She's super sweet, funny, and best of all, super helpful. Took her class and I felt so comfortable since the first day. She tells you about assignments ahead of time and if for some reason you aren't able to make it to class when it's due, she let's you make it up. You can communicate with her whenever and she responds quick. You can tell she's a passionate professor and loves what she does. I totally recommend her even if you don't need speech.

Ms. Kamuca is one of the nicest teachers I have had. She really cares about you passing and will help you in any way she can. Quizes are easy, they're open book. She does take attandance and takes points of for tardy and absences, however she offers alot of extra credit which helped me make up for my tardies.

Its not a tough class but it does require writing and attendance. She is fun, makes the lectures interesting and tests are take home. Gives you at least a week to have your speech ready and makes sure you know exactly what she aspects. Follow her instructions and you will do fine.

I looooooove her. I'm not a public speaking person,but she makes it so easy for you its unbeleivable. The way she grades the speech is pretty cool.She tells u what she's looking for and how she's going to grade u. final exam and mid-term are to take home. you can even do it in groups if you want. And they are so easy.I just love her.

Mixed emotions. (+) sweet, nice, passionate about teaching (-) teaches to a 7th grade level and does not adjust. Not tech / blackboard friendly and wastes so much time with needless paperwork. Can be slightly moody for night classes. Attendance MANDATORY and you will be marked off for being 5 minutes late. Overall I sorta liked her.

Most people don't like speech class, and this professor makes it as painless as possible. I really think she's a nice teacher that makes it easy to get an A in her class. Only thing I didn't like was the group speech where we all got same grade. Just show up on speech days and do your work & you're good! Highly recommend her!

I have to admit that I had been told that all the speech classes were easy grades with little work. So, I was fairly annoyed to see the work she requires. Formal outlines, papers after each speech, a midterm paper and 3 exams was more than I had bargained for. But she really DOES care, and that helps make the work worth it. Definitely moody though!

she's definatley a little moody but if you do the work its an easy A. she takes points off for attendance and tardiness but thats only if she notices. there was a student in my class who left early all the time and signed in and left and that student had no deductions from his grade. but She cares about the subject . i got an A

Easy 4 topics and 1 group project which was easy for me because my group members work together as a team. Overall, you should take her, but don't come late nor miss a day in class unless it's an emergency then she'll understand.

Professor Kamuca is amazing! Her class is straightforward, you follow the rubric and outline provided and you're set. She's so pleasant and upbeat and you can really tell she enjoys what she does. She gives such good feedback, you'll never feel confused in this class. I would suggest her class to any and every one.

She's so funny and caring and you can really tell she enjoys teaching this class. I found her class to be easier than I expected especially because it was small (only 25 students) which makes it easier to stand up there and give a speech. All exams are take home. You get plenty of days to prepare your speech on a topic of your choosing.

She is the best. The answers for the two online exams are on the textbook and she is not a tough grader at all. She is funny, caring, and keeps reminding you of what you need to turn in. The only "hard thing" was doing the speeches in front of people.

I absolutely love her! She always comes to class with a smile on her face. She always grades fair and she gives lots of opportunities to do extra credit. And if she sees that you have like an 88% she would curve the grade at the end of the semester out the kindness of her heart! Took her twice and would take her a third time if I could.

She is very clear with her syllabus. She talks a lot but she just wants to help us do better. If you miss more than 3 classes you automatically fail her class. You only do about 3 speeches just depending on the size of your class.

Youll need the book for tests (easy), and she takes attendance seriously. She has a fun personality, such a great woman. I cant recommend her enough.

Attendance is A MUST! She takes points off for it. The textbook was free online and only used for the midterm. Her class is not hard to pass at all but prepare yourself to naturally get nervous for the speeches (2 speeches by yourself, 1 with a group) but shes not a tough grader and helps you feel comfortable. This class really helped me become more confident when speaking, and I would recommend others to take it. The class is easy, she tries her best to make things as simple as possible. We took two tests and the book helps (but so does the internet). We had a total of 3 speechs (1 of them is a group speech) and just about 2-3 papers (reflecting on speech). Attendance helps

I took the class in the fall, she real cool. The other responses aren't lies. Try her out there isn't really nothing bad to say. She lets you turn in late work and is very energetic. Easy A. Intro, informative and group speech and 1 paper using some vocabs on a movie of your choice and extra credit.

As much as I was terrified to stand in front of a group of people, Prof. Kamuca was very helpful in easing my way into public speaking by helping us create our own extemporaneous outlines. Those outlines helped instill security by knowing what we were going to say rather than being lost. Provided great feedback as well as tips for handling nerves.

If you don't like public speaking, but need the credit, take this course! There are 3 major speeches you need to do. The first one is about yourself, the second is about any topic, and the third is a group speech. Lectures are fine, prof is understanding and kind. If you get a lousy group it could be bad since that is your final grade
