She was very helpful and worked with my in order to have a passing grade. She really cares and doesn't jusy flunk you.

profesor pate was nice and somewhat helpful. she would sometimes get annoyed if you asked her to repeat something or asked her a question. attendance is mandatory but she never takes attendance. she gives a lot of work but most of it is pretty easy, textbook use very high. I ended up getting an A or B, not sure which one. lol. overall i would recom

She is one of the nicest teachers ever. She set due dates and then when slackers in the class didn't do their work she still let them make it up at the end of the term...for FULL CREDIT! Definitely take her, its the easiest pass you'll ever have.

If you kow Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and know the basics, you really do not need to buy the $150+ text book that you can't even sell back (binder). I was bored in class only because I'm a bit advanced in these programs. She was a nice prof and explained everything well. Reccomended for first computer class. Summer class reccomended.

She gives a lot of homework ,you will have to study .she is flexible .very strict regarding projects,you will pass the class ,you don't have to run .

She was very nice and somewhat helpful, what she was teaching was not difficult and you can overall figure it out yourself. Work was a decent load but you can amke it up whenevr and tests were overall easy if you reviewed what the books say.

She is an interesting teacher, kind, and flexible. I only have her class on fridays so maybe that's why i think its a lot of work because we meet once a week. The exams are online on SAM. if you read the TB, do the asssignments and practice you will do just fine.

shes a great teacher, knows her stuff and definately clears up any questions you may have. sometimes finding work is confusing due to blackboard and sam but dont be afraid to ask her whats due. if you read the chapters you will pass all her tests. recomend her.

I had a good time in this class as Professor Pate was both pleasant, encouraging, and reasonable. The work wasn't difficult and the tests were pretty straight forward. No homework if you can finish your work in class so that' s plus as well. Two thumbs up in my book. =)

Mrs. Pate makes this class easy and clear. i recommend to take her!!:)

Before coming to this class i was uninterested about it because i thought i knew everything about computers , Professor Pate taught me a lot of shortcuts and useful programs to use in college.

Proffessor pate is an excellent teacher. She is clear on what assigments are due. Her class consist of watching short video and taking a short quiz after. She is a nice teacher and her assigmnet are not hard to complete.

Great class, what you would expect out of a computer class. Shes very nice & patient, I thought i was going to fail but she talks to you tells you what you need to complete and gives you MORE then enough time to complete them. Recommend her to any who is going to take computer literacy.

Great Professor

This professor taught me things that I will definitely use in my every day life. I am thankful that Professor Pate taught me everything there is to know about Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Coming to class is crucial to learn the necessary functions of the class. If you come to class and complete your work in a timely fashion you should receive an A.

Professor Pate is very patient, understanding and helpful. She will give you all the help you need if you ask. I could barely find the sart button on a computer before I took her class, but now I am much more comfortable with Word, Excel and PPT. If you dont show up and dont do the work, then you cant expect to pass the class.

Pate was a good teacher but this class is HANDS ON. If you can do well teaching yourself then take this class. If you need a lot of help with technology I suggest another professor. Overall, a nice lady but mostly its the videos that will teach you so pay attention and always come to class.

This class is split between incredibly easy (lesson on how to do a Google search) and difficult (Excel and Access). Took online. Can't say this instructor is a good teacher because she didn't teach aside from getting involved in some discussions. All of the lessons and tests were in SimNet.

The class I took was easy and can be accessed online and done at home depsite actually also being a physical class. Also let's you retake the midterm. She's very sweet and gave outbher phone number at the beginning and was totally cool when I called about having to miss class due to side affects from my surgery.

She was very lenient when it came to late assignments, she genuinely cares about her students and wants them to receive a good grade. As long as you do your work in a timely matter, there is no reason why you wouldn't receive an A.

For Excel Data Analysis, it was mandatory to buy the program uCertify. She had a basic syllabus with dates everything was due. She said didn't care if we worked ahead so long as we completed on the due date. If you finished everything you didnt have to go to class anymore. CAKE. And if you needed help. Super easygoing. Just communicate with her.

The best class to learn excel! The program she uses allows you to watch, practice, preform. You will be happy to take her if you are ready to actually learn excel. I would take every computer class I need with her.
