Excellent teacher

she is highly educated in the field of communications. she has had benefical experience that helps her in the classroom. her projects are demanding, but she is always willing to lend a hand and offer advice. she wont put up with excuses. take her if ur serious about small group comm.

she always seems to have great stories to tell.

I had her for communication, she was awesome. best teacher. She is fun, friendly and she wants you to do well. Her test are no joke you must study and pay attention. She will encourage you to come to class. Take her great teacher.

I enjoyed this class so much that I have decided to take her in the Fall for another class. She is so funny. She has a lot of energy and enjoys teaching college students. Don't try to play games with her she will call you out. Watch out for pop-quiz. Make sure you read and listen in class.

She is awesome teacher!!! I loved thise class. I will be taking more classes with her. You can tell that she really enjoys working with students.

pretty good teacher she will help you if you need it, she understands that things happen out of your control and will work with you on getting a good grade, although should not take if you are just doing it for an easy A, you have to work for it

SHE IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!! THIS WAS A GREAT CLASS. IT WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT AT TIMES AND WAS VERY FAST PACE. MAKE SURE YOU READ AND STUDY FOR TEST.

she was a good teacher. very nice. eager to help and wants you to pass the class. must buy text. its alittle expensive and you need to come to all classes.

I had her spring semester. I wanted to take fall semester but she was not available. I am scheduled to take her in the spring. She is sooo funny. She really tries hard to help students. Make sure you are prepared she likes for you to talk in class. I love the movie clips and role playing. I love Ms. R-B.

She's tough! I took her for communications in groups we only had to give 2 speeches in a group. Not too bad I survived.

She was a great professor. We used the textbook. I was in class with a lot of immature kids. You must read and study for exams. She is no nonsense but you can tell she loves com. Awesome class!!!

Do take this class. She is great. We had so much fun in this class. I was getting ready to drop out of school and she convince me to stay and select a major that i was passionate about. I am in school because of her positive words and great advicement. Her test are hard if you dont study. I will be taking more classes with her.

Shes a great teacher and I loved the class. Like most before me have said, her test are tricky though so make sure to study but overall if you just show up to class you will be fine!

This was a great class. Awesome teacher!!! One of my favorites. We had a very talkative class. This teacher loves to apply the chapters to real life situations make sure you read the chapters. Test are tricky!!!

Mrs. Ross Brown was an excepptional instructor. She was able to reach everyone in the class on different levels. I highly reccomend her class for anyone. I learned so much about myself, my family and people in general. She definitley gets an A+++

I love this class. I have learned alot about people. She likes to break things down were you can understand it. She remembers everything in the textbook including page numbers. Take this class. She is one of the best.

Especially when you have an idiot in ur class. We had one always asking is this going to be in the test. I wish she was my Bio 120 teacher...Dont try to B-- S--- her, she will call you out!! LOL

This is was a good class. My group enjoyed and our project. Some parts are a little tough but she will encourage u to do well and keep working. I feel that she is not like most professor. She really tries to help. The games and quiz bowls help with test. There were groups in my class that just wanted to complain about life. Good class, good teacher

This was a great class I learned alot about communicating in groups. Professor Ross-Brown is nice and extremely, helpful. Also, she does read your paper and check references. A group in my class plagerized their paper and got caught. They were made at the teacher and other groups. I thought the projects/papers were fun, test were not to bad.

Great class!! Awesome Teacher!She really breaks the information down. Her class is fun and interesting. Make sure you read and complete assignments on time. I wish we had more Professors like her. She's one of the BEST!

She is a good teacher, thorough and loves discussion of course. Group communications is a challenge because you have to work with others and rely on their work for your grade, but everything you learn applies to dealing with those challenges for your project and the real world. I highly recommend her!

Pro. Ross-Brown is a very good Teach! She really loves comm. and she makes class fun and real interstig. I would not say it was easy but is was alot of fun at times. I took notes, read the chapts, did homew & did pretty good on test. She was very helpful. She is a very classy lady, & I can't wait 2 take her again n the Fall. She's the Best! 5 Stars

Awesome teacher. Not traditional, takes class outside on beautiful days so that you are not confined to the four walls. Energetic and easy to talk to. Seems to really have passion for teaching. By far one of the best professors i have had!

she is the best! very caring and loves learning. not an easy class but a interesting class. this class really made me think about my relationships. i like her so much i am going to take another class with her. there is something special about her that makes you want to read and come class.

She is really there for the students. She thinks outside the box and makes sure all of the needs of her students are met. She treats every student like they are special. She also creates a really welcoming environment. I highly recommend her!

This was an AWESOME class. Learned alot especially about difficult people like the person who wrote the comments below. She was a complainer in a every grouo. All she talked about was her 4.0. She complaind about everything. I love this class so much that I am takin Com252. This teacher cared enough to with me & advised me on classes & majors.

Great teacher. Very personable and really cares about her students. She is kind of oblivious to our society today and its funny to see her ask questions about us "young people." Really enjoyed her, not her class so much. A lot harder than i expected. One speech at the end. Need the book.

This is a GREAT Teach! My roommmate recommended this teacher last year. I finally had the nerve to take the class. I HATE public speaking. But She is pulled me out of my shell. I just interviewed for a job. She makes the class interesting & fun but test r hard. She is big on attendance. I learned stuff I thought I knew. So much energy

AWESOME! I enjoyed the class. it was not too hard as long as you complete your work. We had a few crazies in our class "co teachers"! They really made it funny because Pro. RB knows her stuff. She was so nice to them. ha ha. I am going to take her again in the Summer or Fall.

The Best! Love her classes. This is my 2nd class with her. We had so much fun. A few complainer this semester. Read your textbook and follow class work. My group had so much fun working on our topic. Not easy, not hard!

A little hard at times but u just have to ask questions. She was helpful and made group work interesting. I learned alot. The class moves fast. I like really the group presentation.I did not like the young jerks n our class. They gave me a headache. Sorry Im an older stdent.

The nicest woman you will ever meet. Love her! The class is so easy but because she makes sure you understand it and makes it fun and interactive. You really find yourself after her class. Unfortunately she had to take family medical leave half way through. Went to take another class of hers she said shed be back but she was still on leave :(

This was a cool clas R-B . Is the best. Very helpful, this was my 1st online & she made me very comfortable. It was a lot of work. Exams were rough.u will learn alot if u read.i cant wait 2 her n the fall.

This was a great class. I like the way she set up the deadlines bcause I work and have 2 kids. She is very helpful even though it is online. Blackboard was a little crazy at times. Have patience with Blackb that has been in all my summer classes.

Most days its lectures about the chapter. Many group projects. Test are not hard if you study. Very fun class. I enjoy going the this class. She makes class time fun and not boring. Not many assignments. She gives extra credit opportunity.

I did not want 2 take a communication class. I hate public speaking. But this is my favorite class. This is my third go around w college and she encouraged me 2 keep going. She is a wonderful teacher. I took her class online, but I wish I had gotten the chance to take it in person. We had to meet for a group presentation at the end of our online class and I loved meeting her. She is so sweet, and honest. Really knows what she is talking about. I would highly recommend her. Wish I could could take another class of hers

Good Professor. Makes the class easy. Good for anyone who is afraid of Public Speaking. Knows how to make you feel welcomed and makes you enjoy learning. Fun class.

The class is hard but very enjoyable. She makes it fun and the topics you talk about are very unexpected. She goes with the flow and is an amazing teacher. She does have group projects, Make sure to pick a good group.

Free flowing class, so you have to read to get the info. She is soooo likable. You'll learn soft skills beyond what the text provides and will never want to miss her class, she gives fun assignments and encourages student interaction (duh!). she's a good time. can tell she loves what she does.

This was my only way of obtaining my oral communications credit with only 1 campus visit at the end of the semester. She was extremely nice and coursework was all 10 question chapter test. 8 journal entries and the one oral presentation. I'd take the class again.

Great online class but lots of work. Several Quizzes, papers to write, discussion board, online classes meeting very helpful, exams, a reall big Final Presentation, lots of reading but she was very helpful. I really liked how she was always willing to answer my questions. Assisgments were a little heard at times. A lot of writing. Great Professor

I love Ross-Brown. Definitely take her. Tests are very self-explanatory, just study the given study guide and you will pass no problem.

Hard but I did learn a lot. She is the Best professor at BCTC. Make sure u study for test they can be tricky.

One of my favorite prof. for sure, she will change the way you think about learning in her class. Theres something special about her class & the way she teaches. I hate speeches & I have sever anxiety! But I am 45 yrs old & I finally teach a Sunday school class. Homwrk is hard sometimes but not 2 bad. Cant wait 2 take more classes w/ Ross-Brown

I was having a difficult time in class because I had taken all online classes. I reached out to Professor Ross-Brown and she was so encouraging to me. She has continued to encourage me throughout the rest of the course.

She is the BEST! My favorite professor! You will love this professor. Read take notes if you want to pass.

I was scared to death of taking an online course and doing a presentation but Professor Ross -Brown was very supportive and helpful. She is the best and she cares. During Covid-19 she called everyone in my class and we had online class meetings to make sure we were all okay in her class and other classes. She is my favorite professor!

Our project was pretty hard but I actually learned more than I thought I would. She even advised me for the next semester. Ms. Ross Brown is my favorite teacher!

She is like a life coach and professor. I would love to have her in class. she made my online class fun and interesting. She actually call to check us during the semester.

Ms. Brown was a real nice lady. She is very easy going and she knows her stuff. I did not like reading all those chapters and taking quizzes. She made the class meeting fun and interesting. I did not like the exams. I like that she is always available to answer your questions. She was really nice and pretty when I saw her in the library.

Professer Ross-Brown is the BEST! She really cares about you even thought it is online classe. She checks in with us to make sure we are doing okay and we get questions answered. I had questions and she met with me on TEAM during the weekend. because my schedule was so hectic and I had no orther time. My english teacher is not like this professer.

I was going through a lot of stuff in personal life. I was ready to give up. Professor Ross-Brown met with and encouraged me to meet with a campus counselor. She walked me over and checked on me. I am in school and back on track.
