Shes a cool teacher, her lectures are interesting and most of the homework is done in class. If you do your **** then you'll get the grade you want.

Take her ESL courses. They are easiest courses you will ever take.

Harsh Grader. But very helpful. Class has group work asignments, so get a member that is free around your schedule!!! Very hlpful in Analytical Report. Test are in the book and her lectures.

One of the good teachers at CSUN. I am taking her class currently, she does a good job in class and makes the class interesting. Has a good sense of humor. Take her if you want to enjoy Bus 105. Its much better then any other classes.

Tests are not too hard, do the practice tests. lectures are very clear and interesting, brings real life examples. There is a lot of group work though, which i hated. she is very helpful but she is a pretty tough grader, takes off points for all grammar mistakes. But over all a good professor.

cool teacher, lets her class go early if she thinks shes covered wut she planned to for that day, taught me a lot, made me think differently, group work/reading, a couple of class presentations, but very good overall

She was great. she explained everything well. the tests are really easy if you scan throught he book and taking the tests on the website is very important. lots of group work. tough grader on the group projects. GOOD TEACHER OVER ALL!!!

Good teacher, very clear on what she wants and explains the material, a little flaky but overall she is good.

You need to have strong editors for group assignments. Have your assignments reviewed during her office hours before turning them in. Attend lecture and take practice exams online to do well on the exams. Put some effort into this class and you should do well.

She's always willing to help students out, she enjoys teaching. However, she's strict when it comes to grading. Everything you turn in has to be perfect gramatyically and otherwise.

IF YOU NEED AN A THAN DONT TAKE HER. I DONT CARE IF YOUR AN UNDERCOVER ENGLISH MAJOR WITH A PHD YOU WILL NOT GET AN A IN HER CLASS. VERY PICKY ABOUT WHAT SHE WANTS, SHES NEVER SATISFIED, ALLWAYS FINDS SOMETHING TO GIVE YOU WORST GRADE THAN WHAT YOU DESERVE. NON STOP HOMEWORK IS ASSIGNED. NEED TO SHOW UP TO CLASS AND TESTS ARE VERY EASY

She is a demanding grader but she does give students chances to revise assignments for a better grade or she will drop lower grades in favor of optional assignments. She'll challenge you but if you take advantage of opportunities she grants students you will end up with a decent grade and good command of the subject.

Grading and grammar Nazi. When she grades something, there are no actual points deducted for certain mistakes, she just gives you what she thinks is your grade which is ridiculous most of the time. On a positive note, she is the best BUS105 teacher on campus. She does make class interesting so you don't lose interest and has a sense of humor.

she is hard, and picky but has a very good sense of humor and lets you revise many assignments. i would reccomend taking her for a night class. once a week is a good dose of her personality and left me satisfied with her class, and her teaching skills. i do reccomend her, not as bad as these other remarks. best bus comm teacher on campus!

She's a k0ol teacher and has an interesting way of explainging so that it's easier for the students to understand. She gives a very laid back feel but then when you get your paper back you realize how picky she is about the smallest things. she returns papers late, so you don't know how your doing in the class till ur half way into the semester

If you are here to learn, then you should take this professor. The class was very demanding but you learn plenty. So if you want to be a lazy ass go take someone else.

Wonderful teacher! You will learn a lot by going to her class... only downside is she gives TONS of homework... and in my opinion grades way to hard!

Brady is a good teacher,but has many flaws.Grading is tough, and expects you 2go2 all her offic hours.Indirectly insists you go to her office for extra help in order to get better grades. I got a B,but could have got an A if I interacted with her more. WARNING:class starts off slow and chill, but gets very difficult and overwhelming near the end.

Brady is fun, but very demanding. She has a lively demeanor and a sarcastic wit. If you want to actually learn something from this class, Brady is the one to choose. Prepares you for BUS302 groups as well.

I hated this class and I really shouldn't have because I like the material. She lectures like you're 12, sends way, way, way too many emails to the students, and gives totally arbitrary assignments essentially from the book, which, sadly, hampers her credibility which is in question in the first place. It's a 100-level class, yes, but has 300...

Prof Kimmerly is a great teacher. She knows her subject and makes lectures very intersting. Workload is huge,so expect to write, write, and write. But it really helps you to improve. Your overall class experience depends partly on your group. I strongly recommend her those who think that communication skills in Bus World are important!

Someone stated above you "have" to read this book to pass. That is completely false. Class is based on "common sense". I passed the class easy without reading. Take the practice quizzes off the book website, most of her questions are from there. Funny teacher, I enjoyed her class, though she is very strict, and gives lots of work. Try her out.

She is a hard grader but she is fair. Her Tests are based on the text. There is a group presentation as well as an individual one. Lot's of work. Be a good team player in your group. I enjoyed her class.

She is a LOT of fun. Really nice, and genuine in helping and making sure that you understand assignments. Her writing techniques really helped and are extremely useful.

Professor Brady dishes out a ton of work. Lots of writing, a few in-class essays and in class presentations. In addition, you'll be doing plenty of group work, so if your anti-social like me, you may want to look elsewhere for an english class. On the bright side, she's very charismatic which helps keep the boringness down to a minimum.

She is a good teacher but requires lots of group & indiv intense work. No matter how good you write, never gives you "A" Got B+ and we killed ourselves (group & Ind) If need A.dont take it with her. Very demanding but you do learn quite a lot. Again no "A" in this class.

Kimmerly's class is by far the most demanding class I've had at CSUN. Assignments were assigned almost every week (group and/or individual). I learned a lot in this class. This class helped me become a better editor, writer and speaker. If Kimmerly's instructions are unclear, dont hesitate to ask her. She was more than happy to answer my questions.

If you are Accounting Major, take this class with someone else(you have to have an A in this class and it will be really hard to get it). We only had 2 classes when nothing was due. Be careful when choosing ur group coz it's mainly group work. Kimmerly is very demanding but knows her stuff! If you have no sense of humor, you won't like her style.

She is the best teacher ever. When you are done with her class you go out with something helpfull for your future classes. Hard grader but fair. If you are an Acctg major you need at least B. Hard to take but not imposible if you do all your work. Take her if you want to learn something. Dont take her if you go just for the grade.

Class sucked just because it was a pointless class. Teacher was cool and helpful but out of all the University 100 teachers i heard about this professor made us read the whole book haha. The Soloist was pretty boring and we had to write a one page entry log for every chapter with an essay about it. And she gives out one presentation thats it.

I like this Prof, straight forward, sends email reminders w/ instruction. Its lots of work for ex.outlines, memos, peer evaluations, exams,presentation, etc. but if you are good with deadlines you will do fine in this class. If you need to take WPE she is very resourceful person. I recommend it if you want to learn and pass WPE on your first try.

She is helpful. She has a nice sense of humor. Her email reminders are very helpful. However I will say that this was the hardest class I have ever took at CSUN thus far.

This teacher is organized and keeps lectures fun. However, I didn;t like her class since she is a hard grader and it seems like she doesn't want her students to succeed. I tried my best but never got A for a single paper

Very fun teacher however she does give alot of work so if you want to breeze through ENG 205 just forget about taking her. Alot of papers very critical grader. I learned alot dont get me worng but yeah. her class ISNT easy. Be ready to write a TON

Highly recommend her. Extremely easy teacher for English 113, however do not take her business classes( as she said she grades hard in business classes) Going back to English, she is really easy and all we do is talk about politics ask her questions about politics and she will talk without stop. Very interesting.

TAKE HER! shes very easy.All we do is talk about politics. Very interesting,however she is sarcastic. But overall very easy you only do 3 essays in the whole semester and all of them very easy. She lets students revise their papers.

It is a very easy class. She likes to talk a lot and has a very happy and hyper attitude. Enjoys having class discussions. The class is bearable. Take her.

Easy class. Easy midterm and projects/speeches. Doesn't allow laptops/tablets in class so it's a bit more social and casual atmosphere esp in the evenings. Took her class at 7pm on Thurs (after 2 daytime classes) and she was always so full of energy. Show up, do all the work, read the book, and participate...it's really hard to fail this one!!!

I love her! she is a reasonable professor, she makes the environment more at ease. I actually looked forward to her class. she is a great professor. she is very funny and really really outgoing and always hyped, but she can be sarcastic. cant take a joke? good luck not getting offended. if your up for a little challenge, I recommend her.

Professor Brady is very easy and clear of what she wants from you in your writing. We only had three essays throughout the semester, outline, draft, peer review, final draft. she gives great feedback. Be prompt with her deadlines. We used the book short takes 5 times, rent it. One-class project, very easy. improves your writing. take her

She is one of the best professors I have ever met. She is so funny and sarcastic its ridiculous!! I love it! She really cares about her students and is always offering her help. She makes class interesting and understandable. But for essays its critical that you have all the criteria for the essay. I'd take her again.

Professor Brady is amazing! she respects her students and is very understanding! you do read A LOT, but some of the readings help. work hard for the essays and you will do fine!

I was a freshman taking this sophomore class, one day a week for three hours. This was a great class. Kimmerly chose great literature pieces to dissect. There was lots of discussion. She had the most energy I have ever seen, ever. If she wasn't excited we wouldn't even be interested though. Your papers better be good. She will always help you.

Kimmerly is an excellent professor for English 090. I contribute passing my WPE to her. She's a great professor and will prepare you well for the WPE.

Kimmerly Brady is a difficult grader, and she expects quite a bit from her students, but in my experience, she puts a great deal of effort into giving you the tools to succeed. Her feedback is very helpful. There's a sizable amount of crucial group work, but I would only suggest avoiding this class if you don't have time for weekly group meetings.

Quirky and fun, Professor Brady makes literature fun and exciting, the exact person you'd expect to be teaching english. She is well organized and engages the class in a way that makes it fun as it is informative. She has a quiz about the reading each class which I can't blame her for. If you want a nice, fun professor for english, look no further.

She is very knowledgeable about the subject and wants everyone to succeed. You do have to put in the work if you want to see the grade that you envision, but it is a good challenge.

Bless her heart, she's wonderful. She is energy energy and more energy! She's fun, engaging and cares about all her students. No final. 2 papers (must do drafts for them) and 2 exams. MAKE SURE TO READ every short story she assigns, the next class she'll give you questions to answer about them. PARTICIPATE! You'll love this class. She's so great.

If you're an accounting major you need to put extra work. I got all C's on my assignment and I got a B in the class. Her lectures can go on forever. You are put in groups in the beginning so choice wisely. Assignments aren't hard just make sure you put work. She comes off as being chill but can grade pretty harsh.

She's super funny, understanding of current social issues and allows students to share personal stories related, very conversational and has a bubbly personality!

Awesome teacher! There are lots of stories you must read, but she spreads them out so they aren't too much to handle. Go to her office hours and go to class if you want to pass! Going to class will only help you in the long run. Take notes! 2 drafts, 2 papers, 2 exams. She will pass you if you put in the effort. Very funny and really wants to help

I love professor Brady! I took English 90 with her after failing the UDWPE twice and I ended up passing the September UDWPE. She really explains the topics well and I recommend conferencing with her I understood where I would go wrong and how I could improve.

One of the BEST Professors at CSUN! She goes above & beyond. All her lessons are gold for post graduation. Homework really prepares you for professional careers. You will have to work in group projects, that was a fun experience and I am proud how much I personally grown because of this class. We need more professors like her.

She is hands down not only the best professors I've had at CSUN but ever in my "education career". Her lectures are amazing and she talks about REAL WORLD topics which really make listen and want to actually learn. The assignments/projects/tests are mainly group but they actually have so much meaning to them. Can be a tough grader but its so worth!

You are graded on a point system in which you are given multiple assignments to accumulate points. They're pretty simple, but the main thing you want to look out for is the group work. A good chunk of your grade will come from group assignments, so choose carefully who your group is with. My only gripe is she releases grades late all at once.

DO NOT miss assignments because she will not reopen them for anyone under and circumstances. If you do all homework you will end with a good grade.
