If you have a hard time in math, she WILL NOT HELP you!!!!!

I took her online class...Take another teachers class! The way she links homework to quiz to the test is a pain. Also you can not see when a test will open up and when it will close until the day it opens, then it closes 24hrs after that. Anytime you need to get ahold of her, be prepared to WAIT. Also is not very willing to acomidate DSPS students.

I took this class my very first semester and didnt like it atall!She teaches at a very fast speed,rushes through the lessons.I would never take her class again.

Very confusing, i didn't understand the way she taught, don't recommend her. Too much homework, easy problems but hard problems on tests and quizzes. Moves too fast and doesn't explain things clearly!

I had The in person class for this teacher she gives out way much home work.she goes way to fast and wants you to learn the math the way that she wants. The homework that we do is on a website that only let's you answer the questions a certen way for every section their is at least 25 to 30 question to answer . I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING HRE CLASS!

I had health issues, which was my problem. However, that being said, this professor is not timely in answering emails. This became a huge problem, so I dropped the course. I used the textbook for the rest of the summer and finished the course work. The book is excellent.

I did not like this class. I don't recommend it. She doesn't go in order, she does respond to emails and it's not an enjoyable class. I strongly recommend a different teacher. Way to much homework too. It was crazy.

dont take her if u want to pass. she gives too much homework and it has to be done her way

unnecessary assignments that has nothing to do with the subject. Provides unclear instructions. The assignments are easy but her instructions are frustrating. I highly recommend to choose a different professor.

DONT TAKE HER. SYLLABUS IS YOUR BIBLE. OVER 10 PAGES LONG, SUPER CONFUSING, AND ALL OVER THE PLACE. 50% THINGS THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO THE CLASS R DUE WHENEVER AND THRU SCANTRONS, EMAILS, OR OTHER PORTALS. EXTREMELY CONFUSING. SHE DIDNT LET ME IN THE COURSE UNTIL AFTER 2 MONTHS. WONT BELIEVE ANYTHING U SAY. HER WAY OR NO WAY. DSNT CARE! U WIL FAIL!

Do not take this lady unless you absolutely have no choice. She's unorganized and often throws assignments at you at last minute w/ minimal to no direction. She is not available at office hours and will not respond to emails. She barely lectured and made us write a paper for a math class and do other irrelevant assignments that don't include math.

Lecture content was remedial math with little relevant information yet, college level homework and testing. Assignments were never accessible when assigned. Work was so delayed by the professor that I spent every weekend on homework instead of being able to complete work when my kids were in school. Many classes were cancelled. Worst experience!

I've never experienced a more unorganized and disrespectful instructor. She uses humor to insult her class. I learned more about her tenure, achievements and other jobs than I did about the class text. This class could be so useful with a more professional professor. Weekend work is mandatory as assignments are rarely available on time.

Despite of the fact of her long career which she brags about the most immature and disorganized teacher ever. 14days after the final our class doesnt know the grades not only of final but the assignments that were submitted in the beginning of the school year. She looses assignments. No email replies. And frequent absent on her part does not help.

Don't take her. She doesn't teach, you have to teach yourself plus all of the homework. She doesn't explain clearly of what she wants from you. You are expected to do a long assignment for like 10 points. She is very confusing.

Professor Beale is something else. She is the most organized unorganized person youll ever meet. Her instructions are confusing. Her lectures are pointless. Lots of homework even on the weekends. She goes on tangents about her life. She also doesnt like children. She doesnt put in grades & respond to emails. She also cancels class last minute.

Do not take at all costs. Im not a lazy student but she is a lazy teacher. Always canceled class and no one knew their overall grade the entire semester. Didnt receive anything back(including tests) until the last week of class and none of it was graded. Never gave study guides for exams or final.

I had issues in this class and contacted the Professor numerous times, she never got back to me. This was an online class I finally had to drop. No communication at all.

She makes everything due at 5PM, it wouldn't kill her to make it 11:59PM. She has no respect for her students or due dates. I had an email assignment due, and she did not send the reply email until AFTER THE DUE DATE. If I was not resourceful, I would have lost 10 easy points. I emailed another student asking for the link she was supposed to send.

Childish. This whole class was a mess, once you get lost you are LOST. She assigns the most confusing assignments that aren't even related to the course and asks way too many personal questions. Half of the time this class felt like an English course. She admits to the whole class that her class is difficult but doesn't do anything to change that.

This teacher made me want to cry. SO MUCH UNNECESSARY WORK. 1st red flag was the 20 page syllabus, you lose brain cells reading that thing, there's too much that you can't even find what you need if you're looking for help. (which is your only help since she's slow to respond & will just tell you to refer back to her long ol syllabus) V Unorganized

Very unorganized prof. There are TONS of assignments and because there are several places she posts different assignments, it is easy to miss a deadline if you aren't searching and checking for what is due at least once a day. She wont grade assignments in a timely manner- which leads to unnecessary errors on work turned in later in the semester.

Took online using MyMathLab. Don't take it this way unless you are ready to work alone with no instruction. Wants 48 hours to respond to email. Syllabus is way too long. Technical issues with MyMathLab. Ton of assignments. Doesn't post grades during the semester. Zoom calls (sometimes) but just goes through a couple of problems/doesn't explain.

This professor is the reason why I use this website. She is very unorganized and assigned WAY to much work, about 5-8 assignments a week along with other tasks. Uses various math programs to complete assignment. Does not respond in a timely matter. At one point I had to hand write an assignment only to then scan an upload a specific way

I am a college student and I took some summer classes at delta college. This professor dropped me fromcourse because I was busy during the summer at a family trip and she said I can make up all my assignments. I did do all my assignments and then I was suddenly dropped from the course I emailed her and asked why and it took 1 week for a response

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER! She left us on our own from the start and never responded to emails or would take days to reply. The deadlines were terrible (5p.m.). The class itself was very difficult and she never held zoom lectures. This has been the most difficult class I have taken and would not want anyone to go through this. Very stressful!

Easily the hardest and most stressful class I've ever taken. I dedicated over 32 hours/week in this class. If there is another professor teaching this class CHOOSE THEM! She won't teach anything but has no problem assigning a lot of homework every week even though it takes her FOREVER to grade them. Very rude when you have a question or concern.

This class was very difficult to take during the summer. We learn everything from the online book and hardly ever hear from the professor. I asked her a question through email and did not hear back for 3 weeks, and this is only an 8 week class. This class is doable but be prepared to commit a lot of time to this class, and read the book thoroughly!

I have a degree from this college. I have NEVER had a teacher this unorganized and unprofessional. Doesn't care if you need accommodations, will never answer emails. Heaven forbid you don't put your name, id number, class, and date on every single paper or she'll straight up give you a 60% with no hesitation. everything due at 5pm. Horrible.

Prof. Beale was probably the worst professor I have had at Delta. Her textbook is free but useless. Her homework is a lot and her due dates are at 10 a.m. What baffles me the most are her tests, they are nothing like the notes and pull random problems we never learned. Also good luck getting an email response from her.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! I took her class in Fall 2022 and it was HORRIBLE! I had no choice but to take a different class during the summer and unfortunately, only she teaches it. She never responds to emails and you learn all by yourself in this class she doesn't help at all. She sets you up for failure from the start. Should be fired.

I am highly dissatisfied with this professor's performance. The workload is excessive and assignments are not graded promptly making it impossible to track my progress. The professor does not actively teach the course, relying solely on YouTube videos. This lack of engagement and support is unacceptable.

The most worst prof. out there! She does not care about her students, you have to learn by your self. Does not respond to emails. She has a heavy work load of assignments. There are about 10 assignments per week and weekly caps with lots of work. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! STRESSFUL, there are prof. who care about their students and she doesn't care.

Take a diff professor, if not be ready for 10+ homework assignments a week, EXTENSIVE caps and DB, 10+ page syllabus, needing a header on every scanned page, or you'll get at most 60% credit (40% is knocked off when you don't), AND little to no response from the professor. All my assignments weren't graded until four days after the class ended.

Terrible, terrible, like absolutely terrible do not under any circumstance take ANY classes that she may offer. You really have to depend and learn on your own the material, not to mention she doesn't respond to emails which can be frustrating. There is also an abundance of work that must be done every week which is absolutely ridiculous.

I had a family emergency in the beginning of the semester and missed a chunk of Homework and had medical record proof and was asking her to let me make up my homework all semester and she didn't let me instead she only gave me a bonus 30 points that did nothing. Beware this professor is self centered and wants you to fail. She has no consideration!

She is the WORST DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She expects so much from you it is best to take a professor from another college do not take her I regret taking her. She assigns so much homework and when I asked to drop the course, she said I couldn't because she doesn't have the authority what? She doesn't respond to emails and is hard to work with.

I was completely lost throughout the semester in her class. I felt like she didn't teach and I had to teach myself everything. She never gives any tests back and they're not even put in the grade book in canvas so you don't really know what your grade is. This class might as well have been an online class because the lectures weren't helpful.

DON'T TAKE HER. Makes you teach yourself, but still expected to show up for lecture (but do bc there's graded work). SHE DOESN'T KEEP UP WITH GRADING. You won't know your grade till the semester's OVER. Doesn't give back any tests or physical worksheets. Especially if this is your FIRST calc class. DON'T.TAKE.HER.
