This guy is so nice!! He tells stories all class. Make your presentions exciting and give out free stuff and you'll get a good mark. Didn't even open the text book, just use the material he hands out.. as long as you go to class your fine.

this is like the easiest class i have ever taken. dun have to study much only need to know the math and read the bk once then u should do fine. he is a bit boring but ez tests and exams...wat more can u ask for?

As long as you do the required readings, you'll get an A+. Lectures only touch on main points/ideas, gives lots of examples. Course material can get a bit teddious but Tests are easy, you are given a choice of questions to answer. Overall a good teacher.

Prof. Bailey is the best prof at Ryerson. He gave us an A+ on our group presentation. His tests are so easy, you don't even need to read the book and you will get a B- on his tests. The math is taken from the examples and is also easy. I will definitely take more classes with Prof. Bailey.

Prof. Bailey is amazing! His stories are interesting and quite relevant to the subject matter. His tests are very easy, and he marks the group presentation very easy. I barely studied for his class and I got an A- in it. With Prof Bailey teaching, this course is a great GPA booster. Op. Mgt rocks!

I've had Kirk Bailey for several classes during my business degree, and I think he's wonderful. Very kind, very sweet, very personable - cares very much about his students. He treats his students with the utmost respect. He has a lot of knowledge and likes to share it. One of my all time fav profs.

There is absolutely no way you should get below a B in this course. Easy marker...easy-going guy...nice man...take Bailey if you want that GPA to increase a few percentage points.

It's not him, it is just the course material. He's a great guy, and goes out of his way to help his students. He really didn't talk about ford much this semester, heh, I guess he got the hint. He's really helpful and understanding. Tests are simple, and the presentation isn't bad either.

Prof Bailey is one of the best professors for management. He really helps students understand the material and likes to discuss his real life experiences so students know what the course is really about. He prepares you very well for exams if you attend class regularly and likes to see students succeed when they put in the effort. Amazing Prof!

By far, the best prof at Ryerson....classes are simple, tests are easy, dont need the text book. classes are a bit dull, but your mark in the end will be worth it all!

Good guy but BORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRING!! tends to go on, an on and on. Spent almost three hours "reading" the course outline the first class. get past tests they are helpful.

tests are really easy...guaranteed a good mark as long as u review everything and know the general ideas. a really nice prof.. but tends to go on and on about his stories at Ford..instead of going through the slides.

This is a nice guy who knows the course material like the back of his hand, however, he is forgetfull, and retells the same stories over and over again. It's probably time for retirement. Would like to see him stay at Ryerson, but not as a prof.

Friendly guy who is willing to talk about anything. Easy prof, easy tests, he's a bit boring and whatnot, but its well worth it to have him as a prof.

very nice person. very easy course. easy to ace. he tells you exactly what he wants from you and doesn't expect more. make sure you go to class. they are a bit boaring and redundant but if you learn everything from the lectures you are set for the exams. tests are very easy.

A Ryerson legacey! everyone should have one class with him! People get down on him for telling stories, but thats onlt b/c he has alot of experience and relates it well to class material. I had Kirk 3 times and I would take more classes with him forsure!!! best prof. @ Rye (along w/ Meston).

If you get anything less than an A in this class, you didn't come to the lectures AT ALL and didn't read the textbook AT ALL. I ended up with an A+ (97%) in this class. SUPER easy professor. His exams cover a lot of material, but if you KNOW what you are studying, you should only have to study 30 minutes per exam. Boring lectures though.

his tests are Q & A , all the other proffs have MC , final is MC , does not use blackboard , keeps giving handouts every class. take another proff for this class.

A easy going teacher! but in my sem, he didnt make the exam which made the exam a little bit hard to study cause we donnu whats going on. I got A through the sem but ended up with a B. Ohwell, I cant complain!

Operations managment: Easy prof. boring lectures, he repeats himself 5 times a day...but he is very nice! Good Proff....No attendence mark...so don;t go if u do;t want to listed to him...

He is a really nice guy - loves FORD - sorry for any none car buffs - there is lots of car talk. He takes you through the stats/math component really well but you are on your own for the theory...read the whole book and watch out for the M/C everyone did bad and did better on the essays.

Boring lectures. Don't have to go to first half of the class, but make sure to go to the second when he explains math/stats - it's gonna be on the test for sure. Read textbook before test. Easy marker on essay questions, mc is terrible. Easy final.

my gosh this prof is soooo easy...memorize the cases and u can bs on the written portion...make sure u noe ur quants tho cuz it quite the chunk...hes always late for class so u can bet on being 20 min late and ur on time =) i recommend him for sure

Wooo....He marked so easy, but be aware, the materials were not easy. This course required a heavy memorization. But once again, he marks so easy, I have no idea with one of the questions in mid-term and I bs everything, he still give me 80% on that quesion. Love you, Kirk Bailey!! Highly recommed.

Best prof at Ryerson!!!...you will never get such a good mark while putting in minimal effort...Word of advice for mid terms, if you know your Quants you can completely BS the essay portions and he will still give you full marks

I took this prof in the spring courses. And i have never knew that MGT401 would be that much fun. Just beware though he does not teach from the book, you gotta read the book on your own time. The good news is he does make the midterms very simple. This class is an easy A...

Easy essay question on tests for 701 - understand basic things from books, write a lot & give lots of examples. I found him hard for 401 though. I don't recommend 401 with him - the essay questions and math problems killed me back then when I didn't know how to do them. Wally has M/C questions. Take 401 with Wally. 701 is good with Bailey.

execellent teacher, really brought the interest back to learning instead of learning plainly to get a degree. he is an AWESOME grader as i got A- on mid and final and final project. so yea kirk is the way to go, especially for 701. good hunting ladies and gents

Good prof. Just go to class to get the handouts and leave. No point in staying and listening to his speaches about Ford Motor Co. Exams: 2 essay questions and a full case analysis, if you write anything, easy A. Great guy.

Great prof! Lectures are boring and you really don't need to attend. Lots of handouts, useless. Midterms are straight memorizing textbook end of chapter questions and math q's from workbook. Final exam same format..unless u take it daytime, another prof writes it.

Such a sweetheart! While he may steer away from what he is talking about at times, his stories about Ford do give good examples. Its hard to be annoyed at this guy for long though...he really loves what he teaches. Tests and assignments were fair and mostly out of the textbook and workbook he gives out.

I had Kirk Bailey and honestly this class is soooooo easyyyy....

The test is easy if you have Kirk and if you read the book. He basically takes the EXACT questions from the textbook. Now if you look at the book at the end of each chapter there are 16-20 questions he's only going to choose 1 or 2 of them. The math part isn't too hard but can get complicated so you better show up to class for the math questions

Also there is a group project where you have to go to a plant tour and then present it to the class... not hard at all!

The prof is pretty easyy but omg watch out for his stories THEY ARE SOOOOOO LONG AND BORING... all he talks about is his wife and son alll the time

Kirk Bailey is really easy. During the test, about 85% of the class was cheating, and he either didn't notice or didn't care. I watched students go up and ask him questions about the test, and he'd tell them how to do it. You should go to class to copy his math, as it is on the test. He is a bit unclear at times because of lack of organization.

He's alright. His class was really boring but you should go for the math problems he does. The midterms were okay (essay format + math questions) but the exam was much harder because it was m/c. Overall, okay prof.

He is an extremely knowledgeable prof. The only thing that made his lectures unbearable were the fact that they were being taught in a huge lecture hall with a bunch of ignorant students who would not stop talking. That being said, he should be teaching classes of less that 50 people who actually want to learn

He is extremely nice, and he is so cute and friendly. His midterms are extremely straight forward, and he is very helpful and understanding.

Bird course...only problem is with the final which is hard to study for when its the easiest class and you have 4 other finals around the same time GMS401 is the last one you're going to be thinking about lol. Group project requires some thinking questions-can be broad. Bailey's class is basically a history class with him being way too nostalgic.

Sweet guy, generous marker, his 2 tests worth 20% each are generally very easy. For the long answer, as long as your answer is somewhat related, you can bluff a bit and get away with a mark. Quantitative, just study from the booklet he gives, easy marks there. He gives good grades to the projects, so easy 60%, wing the 40% final, A right there.

Great professor, spends a lot of time on the math questions which make up 2/3 of his midterms. Provides you with the question booklet, so its easy to follow along. Doesn't do much theory work, but incorporates some as he teaches the math. Do well on the midterms, read the book for the final and you'll do good.

Best prof I've ever had hands down! Not only is he super nice, he really does care about his students. He's very knowledgeable about what he teaches and I would definitely recommend everyone to take him!

BEST PROF! His tests are EXACTLY like the Workbook problems he does in class so make sure you attend every class and just copy down the answers. Dont really need to pay attention to slides, but you should get PERFECT on both Midterms heading into the exam. Also a nice guy and very approachable, ask questions during tests if you know what i mean ;)

Hes a good guy the midterm tests are pretty straight forward, just keep up with the theory component for the final, the math questions are just from the book he gives you, responds fairly quick to E-Mails and helps his students a lot

You can easily get an A with Kirk because of his easy midterms, it's identical to the questions he did in class. The common exam was way tougher though

He is an amazing person who is very kind and friendly to all of his students, but he is not exactly the best prof. He gets a little too carried away with his stories during lectures. At times the class starts talking during the lecture but he is too kind and isn't assertive enough to tell the class to be quite. He is a great person but a bad prof.

Super nice guy really boring though. first 2 midterms are super easy, EXACTLY like the work books he gives at the beginning of the year, so pay attention when he does those in class. Final was hard because they are nothing like his midterms. Overall a pretty easy course for very minimal work.

Engaging lectures, but be prepared to put in the work. The textbook is a must-read, and unstuck AI was a lifesaver for study prep. Overall, a challenging yet rewarding class - just stay on top of things.
