u need to work hard in order to get a good grade. there is just no way ur getting above 80 except english has already been your first language. simply hard. and reminder to always study more than he tells u too because the test papers are hard. also the essay. the only way to get above 80 is to have no grammar mistake, clarity in topic and be happy

I took 141 with Mr. Vaughn last year and worked really hard to get an A. It was not easy, but I have used so many pieces of his advice in English 101 and 104 since I took his class. He will prepare you very well, but if you are lazy don't take his class because he knows the students who work hard and the ones who don't.

I can honestly say I have never had a professor like him. He is not just a wonderful instructor but also a brilliant person. He is very kind and generous.
