Loved everything about this class. She protected us as her own and worked hard and was very open to us all. She always had a smile on her face, her light always shine right through us! She's a very good listener and helps us with whatever we needed. She is always willing and letting us know that she is there for us!

This class was fun and fairly easy. As long as you paid attention in class and read the chapters it was an easy A. She is overall a good professor, I will say grading is a bit harsh sometimes, and the feedback isn't always helpful. I would take a class from her again, but now that I know the kind of professor she is, and what she is looking for it is much easier to get a good grade than at the beginning of the course.

You know exactly what is expected from you from the first day of class, everything is pretty straight forward. I would definitely take Kisa again!

I chose to take the course online, it was rather easy. You are given one to two assignments every Sunday. There aren't a ton of assignments in the course.

Kisa is one of the nicest, easy to talk to, and inspirational professors. Her class is very easy but you still learn what you need to learn. There is only a short discussion and open book quiz with no time limit every week. There are no exams in this class. Only a short 2 page paper for both the midterm and final.

Prof. Smith is an excellent instructor in my opinion. She radiates and remind us of the prevalence of the material and she understands that said material can be difficult to understand at times. She encourages and welcomes her students to ask any questions in a way that I can confidently say works. I can walk out having learned something I needed.

Half of the semester we submitted discussions, but the last half we had the option of doing the discussions on zoom in place of submitting one. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Best professor ever so kind hearted and seems like she actually cares would take again in a heart beat. Made me actually sort of enjoy public speaking.

Kisa is a good professor, she is super nice and energetic and she likes to post videos about the criteria to help you learn alongside the textbook. Just take notes and stay on top of your work and you'll be fine. Not much work but no late work accepted.

Definitely recommend Kisa Smith as your professor! She is so nice and caring for her students. Not a lot of homework, just do your weekly assignments and you'll do great! This is my second course taught by Kisa, she is wonderful! The readings for the class are not your typical textbook, they are books which give a great perspective on the real world. Even though the course is online she is very organized and loves to communicate with her students. There are extra credit options throughout the semester!

Even though it was an online course Smith was VERY great about actually communicating with us, wanting to get to know her students and wanting us to get to know each other! She gave great feedback, you have to make sure to keep up on assignments.

Professor gives good feedback, is fair in grading assignments. Turn in assignments on time with your best efforts and you will easily pass this class.

Every week we had a quiz and then either a discussion board or a speech due and that was it for homework scamming the textbook for info and then taking the quiz was around 20 mins either doing the discussion or writing and doing the speech was around 20-30 mins it took me less than an hour to do everything for the class each week and i was done!

I loved Kisa's class. She is very kind and has clear grading criteria. There are weekly assignments but they all draw from real life so it is actually applicable. Definitely recommend taking a class from her.

I have taken Kisa for other classes and love the way that she teaches. Even though this is an online course, you never feel neglected and she always responds to emails very quickly. She gives great feedback when it comes to your speeches and even adds plenty of extra credit opportunities

Professor Smith is very honest and straight forward her assignments are not very difficult but is just checking to verify you read the material. The course is discussion-based so participation is vital. If you do your assignments you will get an A. If you have any questions Professor Smith will be more than happy to help. Expectations for all assignment were very clear making it easy to do well as long as you follow them. Feedback was helpful and speech prompts were fun and allowed you to speak about things you have interest in. I was hesitant to take this class as often public speaking can be intimidating but professor smith allowed for an awesome experience.

Somethings that I liked was there aren't any finals, quizzes are due at the end of the semester and you can take them as many times as needed, and the grade is fully on your speeches. Doing online speeches was pretty weird at first, but it got easy by the end. Easily the best teacher for the job!
