OMG, i've never been to a more boring class. However, I just looked up all the information on the internet from her study guides, never bought the book, and missed a lot of in-class points, yet still managed to get a B+. i'd take her again.

This class was so easy I got 203 points out of 200. She gives in class assignments with built in extra credit and the tests are based on the lecture. The class is interesting and you don't need the book.

This is an easy class because of the in-class assignments that she gives. It can get pretty boring at times, but if you are looking for a nice teacher and decent grade take this class!Oh yeah and DON'T BUY THE BOOK....WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Well put together class, material was not hard to understand. Go to class everyday and study for the exams and you'll do great. I got an A in here.

Kit it great! She has soooo much knowledge and most of it is genuinely interesting. I will remember little tid bits of the lectures for many many years since it is so applicable in real life. If you take notes every class you will definitely be able to get an A. I got all 100%.

Great teacher! Great class!! She tells you on the first day that you won't need the book. You just have to go to every class, take notes and do in class activities to get 30 points. Theres no final, just a quiz and 2 tests. She definately knows what she is talking about. I would take her again!

BORING class. You will get an A though. I ignored the warnings on here before I took it and bought the book. I have not opened it once, huge waste of money.

This class is #$&@ing easy!! She gives you everything that will be on the exams, go to class and get extra credit once a week. Only draw back is it is boring as hell and you'll have trouble motivating yourself to go. At least get your ipod and write down all the stuff on the overhead, no need to lis

She's very helpful, but teaches at MSU so if you can't make it to office hours on T or R, then you're going to have to catch her after class. She's really helpful, gave me info for grad school.

This class is REALLY EASY!! If you go everyday there is no reason you should get below a B+. The exams are semi tough but, there is in-class stuff all the time that will help your grade (you NEVER get any points off if you turn an in-class activity in). The only downfall is the class is only out of 200 points so its best no to slip up.

Kit Payne should get a raise and the teacher of the year award. This women is a phenomenal person and educator. The class is easy and there are a lot of easy points. She explains everything with perfect examples and knows A LOT about the subject. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

This is one of CMU finest! She is clear, organized, and very helpful! Knows the subject very well and is very passionate about teaching the class. Gives out easy points just for going to class. Only gives 2 tests. Really cares about her students. Awesome lady. Excellent class. Tests right from the notes! Don't buy the book, just take good notes.

Awesome class for a UP and major. I loved her. She was really a good professor and took pride in what she does. She is always looking to help you for anything. Two papers-easy and grades easy too. She tells you what exactly to study for. Two exams and no FINAL you just meet for grade and final activity.

You don't have to buy the book! She gives really good notes. She is so cute and hippie. She doesn't accept late assignments even if you are sick and have a doctors note. But you can get bonus points at the end of the semester to make up for it. She is good take her!

SHOW UP! If you show up, you will pass. She has 2 exams, and tons of extra credit. No book, all notes are lectured. I think she maybe a neo-hippy, makes sure everyone knows that marijuana is better than cigarettes for fetuses.

Easy A if you go to class, if you go to class only a quarter of the time and get notes from someone like I did, then in class activities will bring you down to a B+ which you could bring up if your not lazy with all the extra credit. She really is a hippie and it was great great class

AMAZING TEACHER, TERRIBLE SUBJECT-IT'S REALLY GROSS esp. the birthing thing yuck! But she teaches quite well and always has some piece of valuable information for her students. I would suggest any class with her... even if it was like how to build a car out of Popsicle sticks class. which she probably can do by the way.

Class was extremely easy, but if you wanted to get the notes you had to go. She also had in-class assignments that she used as attendance that added up at the end of the year and helped out the grade. The class is pretty interesting, she is pretty goofy, but a good teacher.

All of her exams and quizzes are from her lectures - I never opened my book once! Just make sure you go and take the notes down.

This class was so easy! There was 1 quiz, and 2 exams which are 40 m.c questions each. There were also 2 4-page papers that she grades easy. Don't buy the book! The notes she gives in class are perfect. Lecture is rather boring and it drags on but there's a lot of little in class assignments so it isn't a bad idea to go to class.

Do not need the book. She tells you at the beginning that you dont need to buy it. Super easy class. In class points every now and then. You can sleep through every class and still get an A.

Easy. Go to class, do the little assignments, they add up. Would of had an A in the class, instead of A-, if I went to one more, missed an A by a point. Papers are unbelieveable easy, do not stress out over them. Follow the guideline and you'll get full credit. Tests can be tricky, but nothing a few hours the night before the exam can't handle.

Amazing professor! Notes are clear and precise, easy to get down. You absolutly DO NOT need to buy the book, IF you go to class. She grades really easy, don't worry about the papers. The class is easy but you do have to study a little for exams. Nothing big. If you don't get an A or at least a B you shouldn't be in college because you're just lazy.

Prof. Payne is such an easy teacher. Seriously just go to class, listen to what she says and you'll be FINE on the tests. Don't skip! She does in class assignments randomly. She's really understanding and if you have any problem talk to her about it and she'll work with you. She's very passionate about what shes teaching. I highly recommend.

It's important to take the notes in class along with taking note of what she says orally but isn't included on the projector. Many opportunities for extra credit. Grades easily on papers. Very interesting lecturer; you'll learn a lot! The textbook is not used at all except if you want to read as a supplement to the course.

She's great! Sometimes her lectures are long, but I found everything interesting. She's really laid back. There were only 2 papers and a few in-class easy quizzes. She loves to hear your opinions. Just a really nice person.
