She's a good instructor. Her policies are very fair and she is generous in grading and dropping some bad grades. At midterm I had a mid-C, and I ended up with a very high A. Apply yourself! Finally, a Tech class where hard work pays off.
This professor was very helpful in class and had clear explainations of the concepts she was teaching. She also grades quite liberally and does not make passing difficult at all.
Grodzinsky could teach calculus 2 to a kindergardener. She took the most failed class at Georgia Tech and made it very easy, understandable, and interesting. The tests are very fair, and so is the final (I ended up with a 102 average for the class- the class average was an 80). My advice is to do whatever it takes to get Grodzinsky for calculus 2.
Klara Grodzinsky is a light at the end of a dark tunnel here at Tech. There are too many professors that only care about their research, but Klara puts her students ahead of everything else. If you can get her, I highly recommend it. Her lectures are clear as day and tests are fair if you put forth the effort.
She is the nicest and one of the best math teachers at TECH! Her teaching of Calc 1 helped me throughout Calc 2 as well. Very nice and approachable and cares about her students and their performance! TAKE HER!!!
Mrs. G. is fantastic. She made one of the "weed out" classes at Tech interesting and informative. Her grading policy is very forgiving since I had a 60% test/quiz average and still got a B in the class. Recommend her 100%
Highly recommended. I struggled through the class but she grades very fairly and indeed does care about the students. very approachable, easy to understand, would recommend her against many other 1502 professors.
Incredibly nice professor. She really cares about her students and the class is pretty easy. If you go to recitation and lecture, do the weekly homework, and study old tests, you'll do great. Also, final exemption if you have a 92%
She is so sweet and a GREAT teacher, but the tests are still very difficult. You have to be more than just comfortable with the material. You have to be an expert to do great...and thats given with almost any math class at tech.
This woman is a gem. She's extremely helpful and truly cares about her students. As long as you study hard for the tests you will do fine as they are very fair. I would HIGHLY recommend her.
Mrs. G. truly is a blessing. She was always eager to answer questions and work with her students. Her tests became increasingly harder, but if you go to class, do the online homework, and do the review problems when she provides them you'll be fine! I'm not even a strong math student and I pulled of a B. :)
Professor Grodzinsky was an amazing professor. I learned a lot in her class, despite already being pretty familiar with Calculus. Her tests weren't easy, but not too difficult if you put in the effort of doing homework and studying. She really cares about her students. Wish I could have her for Calc II.
Wonderful professor. Does everything she can to boost your grades. Tests are based off of homework, lecture, & recitation problems, so if you can do those then tests should be easy. She's willing to help anyone both online and in person. Be happy if you get her!
Tests are easy as long as you study recitation problems and know how to do them. No tricky problems. Give out at most 4 points at the end for perfect attendance and homework completion and replaces lowest test grade with final. Basically usually more than half of the class ends with an A
I love her! She is the best Calc I teacher ever!
Very good professor that cares a lot about her class and her students. Tests are fair and she is very clear when she explains material
Great teacher. Very clear and helpful. Has great homework assignments that are actually helpful instead of busy work. Tests are fair.
Very understanding and sympathetic, always willing to help students. She cares a lot about her students. She's not easy A, you have to work for your grade! You'll do fine on the tests ONLY when you study recitation problems and review guides. She's one of the best professors you can get at Tech, take her!!
Grodzinsky is awesome! Her lectures were always well attended because they were clear and helpful. Her tests were reasonable if you reviewed the recitation worksheets and practice tests she puts online. She is always willing to help and is very approachable. Not a super easy class - you'll have to work for an A - but she makes an A possible!
The easiest A I've gotten at Tech (102%). If you took AP Calc BC or IB Math HL you are gonna have a really easy time with her. I never met someone that could explain math that well. Definitely take her. Her tests are similar to the practice exams. The final was really easy. I got over 100 with minimum studying. Take her over any professors.
I got a 100.23 in the class. Her assignments are very similar to the tests, and she's very clear. She posts practice problems for the exams, and if you can do those, then you will be fine in the class.
Best math teacher ever. Explains math very clearly and with crazy good examples. Never had as good a math teacher. Tests very similar to in class exercises. She doesn't make her tests unrealistically harder than practise questions. Just amazing.
She's always willing to help out and is very patient with you if you go to her with a problem. Attending lecture is mandatory and not going will cost you some points, but honestly with her explaining everything you'll get a lot out of the lectures.
Grodzinsky is the type who would have baked all 200 of us cookies before the final if she had a big enough oven. She really wants her students to understand calculus and make a good grade- she's not trying to trick you. That being said, I still had to work to get an A. I studied like crazy, made average grades on the tests and an A on the final.
After the series and sequences bit, the class was a cakewalk. all homework is on an online textbook thing, so that's why it is kinda important. never looked at the book itself unless I missed a class. Clear, easy, explains well.
She gives tests and quizzes and curves at the end. Highly suggest her!
She is probably the best professor I have had yet here at Tech. Lectures were super clear and she had great examples of everything. I never cracked open the book and got an A. It's not too difficult and that is nice. If you don't get an A something is wrong.
She is very nice and helpful. She wants you to learn... all it takes is going to class, taking notes, and doing the homework. Go to class and recitation because it counts towards your grade and helps you learn! There's quite a bit of homework, tests, and quizzes. She's one of the best math professors at tech, so definitely take her class!
She is seriously one of the nicest people ever. She's very lenient but most of the class is online and sometimes she doesn't explain topics very well. Other than that, everything was pretty easy.
Provides additional recitations as well as office hours. Explanations are clear and, if not, she will take the time to continue explaining outside of class until you understand it.
By far the best teacher for 1552. She has extra review sessions before tests and extends/adjusts office hours where necessary. She also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities.
Took her for 1552. Really sweet lady and good prof. She cares about her students. I honestly got a C in her class (not a math person...) but I still enjoyed having her. She was pretty clear and a good lecturer. Also regarding textbook use: never used the textbook but used Math Lab all the time, considering all the hw is on there.
Grodzinsky is one of the shimmering diamonds of Tech's math department. She's an amazing lecturer. She was more than willing to help me when I was struggling and brought to an A. She gives lots of great examples. Worksheets and quizzes really hit home concepts. If you can get a seat in her class, TAKE IT!!! Don't be tempted to skip LinAlg lecture..
Grodzinsky was very enthusiastic professor. I did poorly on one test and that brought my average down, so make sure you dont screw up on one test cause there are only 3. She gave weekly quizzes on Fridays, which was very annoying, so I couldnt party on Thursday nights. Turn in HW on Fridays also so Thursday nights were busy.
Klara is a solid calc teacher. She explains things well, but she requires your undivided attention. If you have taken Calc AB or BC and you didn't receive credit, then MATH 1551 will be a breeze. Go to her office hours if you don't understand and she will be glad to help.
Professor Grodzinsky is great. Her lectures are clear and are all accompanied by helpful powerpoints, which she then posts online. She provides comprehensive review sheets before all of her tests. I took her for Math 1552 and then again for 1553 - scheduling all of my other classes around hers!
I took her in the late short summer session, and that was a mistake. I am not great at math, but I always make an A - except for this class. I was very fast paced. She is very vague about what is going to be on the tests/quizzes. There is a lot of homework to boost your grade. She does give partial credit. Her lectures are not helpful.
great teacher, really cares about students, explains things well, doesn't leave anything out, many opportunities for good grade, easy quizzes and tests if you try or i you're just a huge nerd/really smart
Klara is the embodiment of an ideal professor. She is unique at Tech in that she teaches by solving real hw and test problems rather than pointlessly outlining theory. She took her personal time to give me extra help when my grades started to slip. It's really hard to find a seat in her classes, so consider yourself extremely lucky if you nab one.
Overall a great teacher. There are quizzes every single week which is pretty stressful and you have to really study for them because you only get 15 minutes and they are only 2 questions. Good teacher but content of the subject is difficult. Be ready to study and do lots of extra practice outside of class.
Klara was a great professor. Her lectures were very engaging and she explained difficult concepts clearly. Participation in lectures and recitation counts toward your grade. It is a small percentage but it is definitely worth it to show up and get the points. Office hours are very helpful as well and there is a bonus question on every test.
Mrs. G is one of the best professors at this school. She is always so caring and able to contacted outside of class. Granted, she teaches one of the hardest lower level classes, Calc 2. However, she is truly a caring professor that is passionate about what she teaches. It is inspiring to see a professor so passionate about their field. 10/10
Awesome
She seems to be the solid pick for Calc 2. If you are taking this class, then this is the teacher to take. All of her recitation worksheets are as difficult or harder than the tests/quizzes, so as long as you understand the material in class, then you're fine. She is also a nice person and has copious amounts of office hours.
She's a great professor, probably the best you can get for integral calc here. Her lectures are great and she really does care about her students.
She truly is the best pick for a Calc 2 teacher at Georgia Tech. Everyone convinced me that I would fail Calc 2 at Tech because it's considered the hardest of the pre-req maths, but I ended with a high A in this class because of her. She really cares about her students and wants to help you. You have to put in the effort, but an A is possible.
Professor Grodzinsky is really good at explaining concepts and working through problems in class. Far and away the best math teacher I've ever had. Weekly quizzes are difficult but if you can do well on those and on the worksheets, you'll be fine for the tests.
If you put the work in you will do well. Go to lecture and succeed
Klara is a gem. She's so enthusiastic about teaching math, and she really cares about her students. Her office hours are super helpful, and she'll really take the time to sit down and work on a problem 1 on 1. Always there to help. But don't miss class because there's a lot of material she has to cover so she moves fast.
Professor Grodzinsky is THE professor to take for Calc II. If you listen during lectures and go to recitation, you'll be more than ok. The worksheets in recitation are hard, but the tests are generally pretty easy. The only people I know who struggled in this class didn't show up to class. She has a lot of office hours, which are also helpful.
She's a very sweet, caring professor. She's great at explaining concepts and makes sure to give a good number of practice examples. This class is a VERY manageable A if you do the review packets before each test (questions basically get pulled from this with the numbers changed). I highly recommend her!!
Dr. Grodzinsky' s lectures are very effective - her slides and handout sheets are awesome. She answers questions in Piazza really quickly and with detail. She manages the recitation TAs well. She is clear about grading and gives opportunities for struggling students to improve their grades. She changed my view of Math at GT. 5/5
Her lectures consist of slides AND her own handwritten notes on another screen. She shows all her steps and color codes everything to make it clear and easy to understand. She explains concepts very well and is very organized in her style of teaching. Definitely try to get her as a professor.
I'm not gonna say that this is an easy class. But the professor is amazing for her teaching methods.
Her lectures are awesome. Overall great professor.
GODzinsky. Amazing professor, very clear in lectures and always made sure everyone understood everything. Take her for Calc 2 if you can.
She writes color coded notes in class for lecture and uses really good examples. She's also very approachable and just nice in general. Tests aren't curved even though it seems like they should be sometimes (we had a test avg in the 60's). Final grades are curved on an individual basis for borderline grades.
She is the pinnacle of what a math professor should be. Her best quality is how much she cares for her students, and it shows in her lectures, communication, and everything in between.
Great professor for Calc 2. The lectures were good, and the studios with a TA were really helpful.
Dr Grodzinsky is the best professor I had so far at Tech! Her lectures are so good that there's no need to read the book. Since she has +20 years teaching this class every content is clearly presented. What I did to study was attend lectures, recitation, do hw, and practice exams bf tests, and it worked really well. Do not miss her lectures!
Dr. Grodzinsky makes calc II very very easy. The course with her is a smooth ride. Her lectures are great and if you attend all of them you shall do very well in this class.
Professor Grodzinksy is one of the best professors at Tech. She thoroughly explains the concepts in class and explains the concepts as well as works through problems. She's accessible outside of class with plenty of office hours. She also prepares many resources like handouts, formula sheets, charts etc. Totally recommend her for Calc 2.
I struggled some with the class, but that is because I find integral kind of difficult and didnt have a good ta. However, Grodzinsky was a good lecturer and did a lot of example problems. She was extremely nice and helpful when I reached out to her, and she genuinely cares about her students. Also, she doesnt allow laptops in class fyi.
I can say that this class is unpleasant in terms of its content, but Prof. Grodzinsky truly cares about her students and wants them to understand. Especially as we transitioned online, she was so helpful and accessible to help. Definitely a great choice.
Would absolutely recommend Grodzinsky for Calc 2. Explains things very thoroughly and is very approachable in office hours. Even though the class is hard, she explains all concepts and practical calculations extremely well.
Prof. Grodzinsky is one of the best at Tech. Made a slightly difficult class quite manageable with her brilliant explanations. Super empathetic and supportive of students too. Tests are not too hard, and going to studio helps if you're new to Calculus.
Excellent professor. Easily accessible outside and explains things well in class and office hours. besides homework and studio worksheets, i did not have to do anything more and got an A. Go to class and if you're still confused, go to office hours and you will succeed. she was also amazing and accommodating during this pandemic!! TAKE HER!
Literally amazing. There's really nothing to say about her that hasn't already been said, but she is hands-down one of the top 3 professors that I've had at Tech so far. Informational & engaging lectures, reasonable exams and quizzes, and suuuper caring. She's so approachable which makes going to office hours likeable(and super helpful)! 10/10!
She is very caring when it comes to students and always wants the best for them. Her lectures are good and she is open to any questions! Incredibly lucky to have the course managed by her and be in her section.
I cannot express just how much I respect Professor G... She is WONDERFUL! Her Homeworks are to the point and helpful -not excessive, she genuinely cares about her students and is very helpful inside and outside of class. Her lectures are AMAZING... probably the best online lecturer I have had yet. Such a smart and awesome professor, a 10/10 tbh.
I used dual enrollment credit for Calc1, and I didnt have a solid foundation in math. My struggles in this class werent due to Mrs. Gs teaching. She was helpful, encouraging, and often met with me to discuss my grades and specific problems. She even included me in a small group of similarly challenged students to work with her.
Professor Grodzinsky is one of the best lecturers at Gatech. The material was a bit tough but she made it simple enough to allow everyone to understand. Along with that shes very caring and empathetic. If you have the chance to take Grodzinsky please take it!
Grodzinsky was the only math professor I've had that I liked. She was so sweet, explained things well, and was always willing to help. Lecture was not mandatory, but studio attendance was. There was a weekly quiz that was exactly like a homework question (notes allowed) Notes were allowed on all tests actually!
Loved having her for integral!! She is so kind and organized! She had worksheets for every class (great study materials), let us submit photos of our pets for Pet of The Day and even organized optional meet n greets the day after tests! Could not possibly have been more caring or accommodating. If you get the chance to take her class, do!!
She's so sweet but knows her stuff. Her lectures are well structured and organized and she teaches at a comfortable pace, you rly get the most out of it without getting overwhelmed. Homework is basically the notes you can use to study for the final and minimum work so you don't feel like you're wasting effort. If you suck at math, take her.
Dr. G has been the best math teacher I've ever had. her lectures are amazing and she gives enough examples to make the homework doable and easy to understand.
The sweetest professor at Tech! Clear lecturer and grader. Content isn't too difficult and there are many other assignments to help boost your grade if tests/quizzes aren't your thing. I definitely recommend her for calc 2.
As someone who is generally intimidated by math (I know, weird for a Tech student), I honestly couldn't have asked for a better professor/course organizer. Her lectures are clear, she posts recordings and notes after class, she's highly accessible out of lecture, and is super sweet/understanding. I was able to do well in Calc 2 thanks to her!!
She's really sweet and I really enjoyed learning from her!
Grodzinsky was the best professor I have had and she is the best professor anyone will have at Georgia Tech and that is a straight fact. She is amazing and kind and makes the tests and the course enjoyable. If you do the homework, and go to lecture, you will succeed in this class for sure. Klara Grodzinsky is awesome and I will miss her class.
Mrs. Grodzinsky was always caring and calm. She really reminded me of a grand mother. She always kept her students informed on what they needed to do to succeed. Also, taking this course felt like you were learning math from somebody you knew personally, who also knew plenty about what they were teaching.
I highly recommend taking Professor Grodzinsky for Math 1552 if you are not very confident in your calculus skills. Her grading provides much favor to her students and her lectures are very thorough. Go to lecture, practice problems on study guide, go to studio, and attend OH if needed.
Prof. G is SO amazing! She makes the pre-lecture videos for all of the Math 1552 classes; explains concepts thoroughly and is always available to answer any more questions we come up with. Hw checks, quizzes, and final are same for entire department; practice each week (use Paul's Online Math Notes). HIGHLY recommend taking Prof. G! She's the best!
Excellent lectures, though not mandatory. Studio is required and has weekly quizzes. Make sure to do the homework and practice problems, and you'll be prepared for the test.
Professor Grodzinsky has been the best professor I have had at Tech. She is very clear with her details and explains concepts vey well. Hands down the best, and I would gladly choose her as a professor again. Take her class!
She is very organized and provide lots of practice to succeed on the exams. If you attend lecture and studio, and do the homework and review packets, you will have a guaranteed A in the class. She is clear and concise while lecturing and is always available outside of class. She is very caring towards her students and wants us to succeed.
She is a great professor! Very organized and made the class very simple so that it was almost impossible to not get an A as long as you attended lecture and completed work. She is very caring and sweet.
Really nice lady. Not a great lecturer. She is the only math professor I have ever seen who writes faster than they speak (and then moves on before students can even process anything). I never went to lecture bc it was too frustrating, and I got 100's on every exam by studying class notes. Weekly packets are 5x harder than exams. Good overall.
This professor is a good lecturer, and the class is fairly easy. There is not too much homework, and the test review packets are helpful for the test.
Klara is genuinely one of the best math teachers I've ever had. The class material itself is definitely difficult but she makes it less daunting by explaining concepts very well in class. The 4 midterms are worth 80% of your grade, but the level of difficulty of the exams is less than what you do in class, making it attainable to do well.
Klara is definitely one of the best math teachers I've ever had and I would 100% recommend taking her class. The class itself is hard but she makes it easier to understand. The 4 tests are worth 80% of your grade, but the problems on exams are easier than what is covered in class and on the homework.
Professor Grodzinsky is probably one of the best math teachers that I have had. 1552 is challenging, but if you put in the time, I think you should succeed in the class. Her lectures are very informative, and clear. The tests are hard, but if you follow exactly what she teaches in class, you should do fine. Also just go to class it helps a lot.
she's an absolute angel! the only reason i was able to pull a B in calculus 2 after nearly failing calculus 1. so so sweet, amazing at detailed explanations.
Prof Grodzinsky was amazing. She explained every single concept so well. I attended her office hours several times and they were the most helpful office hours I've ever been to. She gives you all the tools you need to succeed in this class. She's also in charge of the TAs which is helpful.
Dr. Grodzinsky is overall a good professor. She explained the concepts well; I just don't understand calc. Lecture attendance isn't mandatory but highly recommended. She posts the notes from class, but they can be hard to follow without her explanations.
Dr. G has been one of my favorite professors to date - she's a joy to listen to in class, and her grading scale is designed to work in your favor. She enjoy linear algebra a lot, and it shows in her lectures and enthusiasm while teaching. A stellar introduction to linear algebra that left me wanting to learn more - she's the best!
Professor Grodzinsky was able to teach a course that is notoriously very complicated in a very simple manner. Her teaching style was great and was very helpful.
Dr. Grodzinsky was an amazing professor who constantly provided opportunities for us to ask her questions and feedback. Her lectures were amazing, and for 1553 that I took over the summer, she provided lecture recordings & notes, and for 1552 that I took in a normal semester, she provided lecture notes.
Great professor and delivers extremely fair assignments based on the lectures. Amazing person and cares about what she is doing.
Do yourself a favor and register to Mrs G's class. Great lecturer and really cares about students.
She is an amazing professor. She makes the course easy to understand, and it's a very challenging course. She makes sure to go through plenty of examples in class so you aren't surprised by anything in the homework. I wasn't registered for her section, but I attended her lectures.
honestly, dont pick this class. First F I have ever gotten in my life and I have gotten all As in my life till now. She is the first math professor on earth who writes faster than she speaks. Anyways, good luck and I hope you get through it and get a C or higher :)
Amazing lecturer, very helpful pre-lecture videos, tests accurately reflected material, non-mandatory attendance. What more could you want? I'm very happy that I was able to take her this fall. 10/10
Klara is the best math teacher I have ever had. She is so sweet and cares about her students. She is also very understanding. Once a TA graded my test very poorly and I got 10 points back after meeting with her. She is my queen :) her tests are pretty tricky tho so its def a class you can't not study for
I personally found her lectures to be fairly slow and boring, but certainly not intolerable. Expect to spend a minute on homework, especially if you use WeBWork over MML. In my experience, the most helpful component of this class is the mandatory studios, I would pay most attention there. Still overall a very kind and helpful lecturer
I took Prof. G 3 semesters in a row (all diff classes) if that tells you anything. She's incredible! Exams reflect material learned (old exams, lecture examples, studio wksts) and her lectures will usually absolve any confusions you could have. Never had to use supplementary material to learn. Her office hours are pure gold. Go to OH before exams!
Professor Grodzinsky is one of the best math professors I have ever had. She's incredibly knowledgeable, amazing at answering questions, goes over difficult concepts several times, and is always available for help. The class is difficult but she explains content very clearly. Would 100 percent recommend.
It is important to go to lectures because there is so much content in this class, but her lectures are great! I took AP Calc BC and really struggled with some of the Calc 2 topics, but Mrs. G had taught them in such a clear way that has really helped me understand them. She's the best!
Loved this professor! She is so sweet and caring and passionate about the subject. Attending her lectures really helps clarify the content. I learned a lot from her.
Dr. Grodzinsky is an amazing lecturer who makes content very clear and easy to understand. She also is very accessible for questions and answers them easily, clearing any misconceptions. Tests were pretty fair and indicative of what we had practiced in studio and class.
Mrs. G is the best 1552 professor you can take at GT. I'm not in her section but went to her lectures everyday as she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. This class has a LOT of content but Mrs. G does a very good job of making sure that you can get through the work and exams.
didnt have her class, but i watched her online lectures instead of going to my professor's lecture. she explained concepts very clearly and made it easy to understand. her office hours are great too. exams are reasonable, and the review guides they give u for exams help immensely. make sure to know how to thoroughly do each question.
After completing my first year at Georgia Tech, I can confidently say Mrs. Grokinzy was the best teacher I've had so far. Her lectures are good and her notes are very comprehensive. The final exam for the class is very lenient as it is optional and can ONLY improve your grade. If you did good in calc 1, you'll do good with calc 2 with Grodkinzy.
She's enthusiastic in every lecture. I like how she pays great attention to and repeatedly remind us of important stuff. She also demonstrates a lot of examples. Test review sessions for all sections in the morning of the exam days are super helpful if you have last minute questions. We have 4 midterms, and the final exam is optional.
I did bad in the class because of the content. It was SUCH a hard class. But Klara was great! She was the only reason I didn't fail tbh. She was very clear about what was needed to do well in the class and her lectures were VERY helpful. She was not strict, just cares a lot about us taking her class seriously. Hate calc, love Klara
She's such an amazing professor. Her lectures are clear, she provides lots of examples, and exams are very similar to the exam review. You have 4 skips but I ended up going to majority of the lectures because she's such a good lecturer. As long as you do the test review and examples in class, it's a pretty easy A. (though it's lots of memorization)
She was very sweet and understanding. I took it this class in the summer and she made it pretty easy.
I took this course in Spring 2022. This class is hard. Grodzinsky makes it easier. She works with students' grades and will help you when you are in a rut. Great choice for a Calculus 2 professor.
best prof for 1552! made integral calc so easy to understand and she's really caring and accessible as well. use her office hours if you need but the tests are pretty straight forward and usually come from studio or the study sheet. optional final to improve grade + attendance and hw points asw
Easily the best math teacher/prof I have ever had. I never thought i would be able to enjoy a math class until I took Linear Algebra with her. She is genuinely one of the best lecturers I have ever had, and I don't have enough good things to say about her. I wish she taught every class here
Mrs. G is the best professor ever! She explains everything super well and doesn't leave anything out. Never was there something on an exam that she didn't teach in lecture. Provides notes and example problems to follow along with during her lectures. Gives study guide before each exam and tests are never harder than practice problems.
Head of math department so knows what she's doing. Posts notes by the end of the day - other teachers use her slides for notes. Very detailed note-taker, does a lot of examples, very clear and concise lectures. Made concepts very easy to understand and always took pauses during her lecture to make sure she didn't go over a concept too fast
Very glad to take Integral with Mrs. G. She is the head of the department, and it is clear why.
I took AP Calc BC before this which was difficult for me but she made everything so easy to understand while also explaining the reasoning behind everything. 4 midterms, homework's, pre lecture videos, studios, and an optional final. She really helped me enjoy math through this class. One weird rule she has is no laptops in class.
I came into this class after barely scraping through Calc 1 through sheer memorization, but despite Calc 2's difficulty, Grodzinsky helped me to make it to the end of the semester with a B! Go to her office hours - She's incredibly willing to help you if you're struggling, and will remember you if you come regularly!
Awesome professor, made sure there are lots of resources available to be successful. If you attend lecture and studio and take advantage of help available the exams and course are relatively easy.
Prof G's lectures are superb - she really breaks down the tough content. The workload is heavy, but using unstuckstudy and the mandatory studios helped me ace this class. Definitely worth taking if you're willing to put in the effort.
Klara is a great and caring professor. It can be a tiny bit annoying if you already know the topics, cause attendance counts towards final grade and she can be really repetitive in lectures. But other than that she is really clear and makes things easy to understand. Definitely easy A+ if you want to get an A.
Prof. Gordzinsky is so enthusiastic about teaching math and is very good at explaining the content. Every one of her lectures was packed with important content, and her office hours are also extremely helpful if you have concerns or are struggling with the material. If you can get her as a professor, take her section!
Very sweet and very effective professor. Her class is very structured and you know what to expect on graded homeworks and her exams. Best professor to take for this class!
No other words, she is a must take professor.
Dr.Grodzinsky is an absolute must for 1552. Her lectures literally couldn't be any better. She is very caring and accessible for questions during OH. The workload was average, and the tests were very appropriate with the resources given to us. ALWAYS ALWAYS do the midterm reviews, those are going to be the best resource for preparing for midterms.
There's a decent amount of work for her Math 1552 class between mandatory lectures, studios, videos, and homework assignments, but she's an amazing teacher who offers lots of outside help and extra credit. You can genuinely tell how much she cares about being a good professor and her students and I could not recommend her more.
She was very good at lecturing for the 1st half of the semester, but kind of fell off for the 2nd half. She knows her stuff, just the 2nd half wasn't structured as well. There is grade replacement, but don't rely on it too much. There is a decent amount of extra credit and she does a CIOS bonus which helps. Definitely can get an A.
Mrs. Grodzinsky is an excellent teacher and she does a great job explaining difficult topics. Tests are not built to trick you and they accurately reflect what we learned it class. It is also clear with her attitude that she wants her students to succeed and is always willing to help.
Very sweet lady and a pretty good lecturer. She is passionate about what she teaches. She is kind of hard of hearing tho
A great professor. If you do the review, you will do well on the exam. I recommend going to the lectures and studios. You get the answers for the packet assignments and up to 2 pts extra credit if you attend all studios. Beware, she is a little strict about behavior during lectures. She does not allow open laptops and will call you out for talking.
She is the absolute goat! I went to her bc my lecturer was terrible and my grades immediately improved with her teaching. She explains things in away that is both simple and detailed. 100% the best Calc 2 professor at Georgia Tech.
Prof. G is awesome. She is super nice and gives simple but detailed and helpful notes/instruction. There are a good bit of worksheets but you cover most of the questions in studio or class. Really easy to get help from and is super willing to answer questions during class and try and explain things in different ways.
Ms. G is known to be the best professor for calc 2 here. She is organized, explains content well, answers questions, and is accessible. The study guides prepared you very well for the test. Would recommend.
Take calc 2 with ms g, her lectures make the concepts pretty easy to understand and have the base knowledge to apply in studios.
Mrs G's lectures are really helpful at introducing topics and the studios are great at solidifying the ideas taught. She's been doing this a long time and you can tell she knows what she is doing. Lectures aren't attendance-based, but are actually worth your time. Tests are also not too hard and outside of like 7 packets, there is no real homework.
Mrs. G is an amazing professor! Lectures aren't mandatory, but are really great for learning the content. She's accessible outside of class and very accommodating of different circumstances. Definitely take her if you can!
