Professor Kory was recommended by several classmates. He is an awesome professor! His way of teaching helped me pass the class. He is not someone who will throw a question and expect you to learn by yourself. He helps you outside of class too.

He is a great professor. He has good lectures and I highly recomend showing up to each class because he throws out bonus points every know and then. Always emails you before if class is canceled and has tutorial videos online if you don't understand something. Emails all the worksheets with notes so you can look over them in his writing.

Being my first time taking classes at Valencia, I was really worried because I am not the best at math. However, he made the class super fun and didn't make me dread coming to class. His notes are super easy because you just have to print them out, and fill them in, in class! If I had another math class to take, I would take him again!!

He truly loves math. Is a cool dude, nerdy and plays video games. Funny with his stories and comments. He understands the struggles of the students and will give extensions on homework or tests. Will also loan you a calculator or work with you if you don't have one. Con is he will only teach you one way to solve an equation and not others.

At the very first day I thought I would never get an A in his class. College Algebra is really hard, but please take Prof. Kory and he will give you all the tools to learn his subject. Respect! Love his classes!

If you take him for 1106 then all of his tests are going to be multiple choice and he gives a study guide! And if you have a high enough grade by the end of the semester you won't have to take the final. You will have a lot of homework but it's reasonable since it's not due till test days. He is also very caring and understanding! Take him!

BEST PROFESSOR. I'm not good at math, didn't take intermediate algebra before taking college algebra with him and he's awesome. Goes slow, goes over things your "supposed to already know," similar study guides, encourages questions, extra credit for being on time. HW online, lengthy but helps grade a lot. 5 tests of 25 questions taken in class.

if you struggle with math this is the teacher for you. he gives extra credit towards the end of the semester that could change a whole letter grade. he gives out study guides, they are similar to the actual test.

He made an effort to know each of his students, their hobbies, their situations, and worked hard to make sure his teaching was understood by those individuals. Very great teacher! He has zoom meeting which are optional if you need help on a topic. You do have MyMathlabs to do, but they are not that bad. The discussions are very easy and simple to answer and he gives extra credit. Great class I would definitely take this teacher again!

Honestly, one of the best math teacher's I've ever had. He genuinely wants you to succeed. The homework allows for unlimited attempts, he gives extra credit, and drops one low grade. He does recorded lectures as well as Zooms. He's funny, personable, and overall just fantastic. The homework itself is hard and worded weirdly but I highly recommend!

Kory is a great professor. There are like 5 easy units, each having reasonable homework and a unit test at the end (2 attempts). Each chapter, there are video lessons that he goes over, v easy. The tests are basically like the homework. Do the homework and you'll pass the test. Weekly zoom reviews too! I finished this course in a month!

His videos are the absolute best. He is also very funny #HandyDandyCalculator Also, make sure you are organized since you have to submit your work for the tests.

MAC1105 sharpens your logical skills and is a benefit to any student's overall development. Milton guides you through the foundation needed to succeed. His positive, "you can do this!" attitude keeps you going. Watch the videos and stay positive. Always, complete the reviews prior to the tests and complete your homework in My Math Lab on time.

He's very nice and encouraging, but takes a while/sometimes never answers emails. Unlimited attempts for homework on MML, and a couple worksheets he grades on completion. His reviews cover everything (word by word, only numbers change!) that will be on exams. Exams aren't proctored, but timed, and you have to send in your scratch work.

Professor K was a great professor and the way he set the course will guide you to be successful just do all your assignments and study and you should be good especially if youre busy professional with a full time job. I have NEVER enjoyed a math class until I took this professor! His lectures are so easy to understand and he will go back and explain as many times until you understand. I love how he uses colors on exercises which makes it easy to go back and review! BEST MATH PROFESSOR!!

BEST PROF EVER! i suck at math and this prof changed my life. if i could take him for every single future math class, i would. he writes notes templates for each concept and you fill them out together in class. he is an extremely fair grader and adds points for effort and extra credit for going to tutoring. his tests are exactly like his reviews.

He's a really down-to-earth guy who is very relatable to his students. He does not mind stopping the lesson and answering every question a student may have. When it comes to his mixed mode class, make sure to start the homework early because he has an entire chapter's worth due every two weeks, so make sure to pace yourself.

Mr. K is a down-to-earth professor who loves teaching Math ( He goes by Kory and not Kimberly). It has been 16 years since I took College Algebra and Trigonometry at my old college so I had to relearn Algebra (transfer student). If Mr. K's class is full take Professor Sandra Draper (She is very nice and helped me at Hands on Math lab).

This professor is so kind and truly helps each student. It was a mixed mode class, which turned out to be a very helpful feature. He really does want his students to succeed. He answered all of my questions with very clear answers. He grades assignments and tests within 24-48 hours. I had my final exam grade back to me in 3 hours, which I like.

He is good teacher. He will teach you the math lessons in class and with go over it with you. He will help you in class if you are struggling with the math problem or anything. If you aren't good test taker, I recommend you don't take his class at all. The test are weighted at 65% of your grade and the homework is only 15% of your grade.

Even if you aren't the best at math, you'll still do great in this class. You will need an access code to complete homework/ tests but we didn't use the textbook since all of the notes were available on canvas. For extra credit, he adds 10 points to your lowest test grade based on your participation.

He is very strict on coming to class and coming on time, even though attendance is not graded. Respect his time, and he'll respect yours. Would 100% recommend.

He was super nice and sweet, and his lectures were clear and understanding. He gives you like 3 weeks to finish your modules which is plenty of time as long as you keep up with your homework. His tests are not proctored (at least for my class). You don't need the book, but you do need the access code for MML.

I have taken him for two math classes, both mixed mode. He is an amazing professor and is super clear on expectations. Homework and Tests are all due at once so you have an extended time to work on them. He also gives partial credit back on tests, so always show your work!

Test were on pearson and he offers zoom lessons for things on test that may be difficult if your learning soley online. All work was done on my math lab and really a self paced course and the only way for you to fail is it you just dont do work.

I do wish there was more time to do the class final test because that alone tanked my grade from an A to a B. Test >> homework. It is literally just watching a lecture and then doing the homework that's the exact same as the lecture but slightly different wording. You are pretty much teaching yourself if you don't use the lectures.
