Snide, unhelpful, testy, enjoys using 'anonymous students' as examples. If you irritate her, she'll start actively looking for technicalities to downgrade you on. Claims she never singles kids out because she doesn't have the time- PLEASE. Very opinionated; needs to get over herself. I'm there to learn what she has to teach, not admire her mind.

HORRIBLE! Workload is insane, she is rude and never willing to help. I would never take a class with her again.

Very Hard Course If You Don't Like To Write.

Very mean when criticizing. complete jerk to students. Example: She bailed out on a conference i was supposed to have with her 3 times and made another student wait for a half hour and told him to get help somewhere else.

RUDE and unhelpful. She does not keep up with her grading and does not provide helpful feedback. She is quick to jump to conclusions. I do not recomend her at all.

horrible teacher here comments are vague, her grading is random, and her tests have multiple correct answers. Better pick the one she was looking for.

This professor was horrendous. She was rude, inaccurate and had horrendous respect towards me. She did not teach a single thing in this class. I learned nothing from her but rather from my classmates. She ridiculed me in front of my peers and discriminated against me as a person. I would NEVER reccomend this woman. EVER!

Would not recommend. She is nice to only a few select people in the class and the other students get harsh criticism sometimes unrelated to the material. I sometimes felt degraded in her lectures like she was talking down to the class. It is hard to understand what she really wants from a student.

I didn't like her at all. She's super rude. When I emailed her a question, she was very rude about it. I as well as my peers thought that my work was pretty good. She didn't find my work to be as good as I thought it'd be. Essays every week and not helpful whatsoever. I don't recommend her at all!!!

This teacher is so far behind on grading weekly essays, and waits until the last minute to give any feedback, which is vague and useless. She is extremely rude and unhelpful if you email her a question. Her grading does not make any sense. As an AP student, I thought taking this class would be easy but I was completely wrong. Get ready to suffer!

Although the class is supposed to be graded (ABCD-F), in practice it is on a pass/fail basis. Either you score 100% on a assignment, or you fail it. There is no in-between. Attendance is also extremely strict. 5 minutes early is on time, on time is considered late, 5 minutes late is considered absent. Leaving class early is considered absent.

Unbelievably rude. Can't make it to class? don't even bother letting her know, she will not care what the reason is and she will call you out about it in-front of the whole class. In order to get credit for getting help from the writing center you have to see a specific person there or else it doesn't matter. I will never take her class again.

Dont expect any help from Bigalk, if you have a problem writing a paper she will just tell you to go to the tutoring center. When she does give advise, its with a rude attitude and remarks. She doesnt give any worthwhile feedback on papers and wont take late work. If you want to make up missing points? Surprise! Go to the tutoring center.

Teacher will attack you through her words when you do as much as ask your friend where the bathroom is. No talking, no phones, if you miss class that's your choice, sorry you have surgery but if you're not at class it's not excused. Never gives you good feedback on your papers, tells you to go to the writing center.

Read these reviews before taking her class and assumed she wasn't as bad as they say. I was wrong. She is by far the rudest teacher I have ever had.

Do not take this professor if you are a PSEO student she does not care for any of her students.She does not read emails and if you ask for help on an assignment she will send you to the writing center. Don't bother letting her know if you need to miss class because no excuse is good enough. She will accuse you of things you didn't do.

Class isn't difficult, Professor shows obvious dismay towards PSEO students and also grades last minute. Attendance is mandatory despite the fact she cancels class every other class. Would not recommend.

Will tell you if she thinks what you write is horrible, but won't teach at all throughout the course. Got into arguments with students during numerous lectures because we asked a question. Once called a student dyslexic and continued to harass her. If you have the option, choose anyone but her for this course.

It's a normal English course, the instructor just makes it harder than it needs to be. Pretentious personality. Not afraid to miss class and forget to tell you. If you say something she doesn't agree with or word something poorly, even in person, she will more than likely verbally put you down for it. Try your best to find a better instructor.

this professor is possibly the worst I have ever had in my academic career. She refuses to cooperate with students, is UNBELIVABLY bad at responding and communicating, and is very pretentious and condescending whenever challenged, I got a lot of "I don't know how you want me to help you"

We only have class once a week for just about 2hrs and she constantly tells us how important it is to be at these, yet out of the many classes there were to be... just about 5-6 have been cancelled. Her school mail isn't working and she doesn't feel the need to get it fixed Incredibly unhelpful when she is switching things around constantly.

preached so much about attending classes but missed so many herself that we rushed the midterm and final which affected our class's ability of writing it. also learned nothing valuable in that class.

Online class, consistently posted work late in the week, like on Wednesday night instead of Monday morning. She does not read your work, only reads the AI overview on Packback which leads to horrible feedback. Overall condescending attitude and bad class.

She is very passive-aggressive in her responses to students, almost to the point of cruel. She made me uncomfortable asking questions, and it really did not seem like she enjoyed her job. Avoid her; I really enjoyed literature class in high school, and she really ruined my experience. Do not recommend.

DO NOT TAKE!!! SHE FALSELY ACCUSED 3 STUDENTS OF PLAGIARISM AND REPORTED US WHEN WE REPEATEDLY TOLD HER WE DIDN'T DO IT! SAID SHE HAS THE "FINAL SAY" SO WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A CHANCE TO DEFEND OURSELVES TO THE SCHOOL. SAID WE NEED TO "ADMIT" OR SHE'D FAIL US. Also the school did nothing about it after we reported her and tried to appeal.

I don't know how people are giving positive feedback to this teacher lol. She constantly accuses people of AI use/plagiarism. She decided to grade the last 2 assignment the day the teachers had to submit their grades so you don't appeal. Idk what she gets by wanting to fail others lol. Condescending, egotistic and aggressive.

Never really went through assignments with the class. Always made lame jokes and no one laughed. Tough grader for no reason, maybe because she is leading the creative classes and can't differentiate between the two. Absolutely would not recommend taking her class, by far worse lecturer I've encountered.
