she is a great teacher. very knowledgeable in this course. pleasant to talk to and accepts questions w/ ease and is just a very nice professor.

HER TEST ARE SUPER EASY. I TOOK HER TUE/THUR CLASS- MOST OF THE TIME WE GOT OUT CLASS 30- 45 MINS EARLY. VERY NICE TEACHER.

She is helpful, nice, and straightforward. She let us out early which was good because it was a dreaded night class. I highly recommend her.

Ms Jones is soooo nice and this class is extremely easy.... you print the notes off Bb and bring them to class and you just fill in the blanks, she lets you know EXACTLY what will be on the test. She lets you out at least 30 minutes early everyday and brings candy on test days :)

She is probably one of the better accounting teachers. She does her best to explain everything. She gives you notes for every chapter & a study guide for each test. Plan to study! As long as you go to class everyday, you'll do fine. She gives very little homework to turn in. Nice teacher.

She is an unbelievable teacher! I would definitely recommend her. Her sense of humor keeps you listening. She is able to bring the information down to your level while keeping it interesting! A++++ Professor!

Mrs. Jones is a great teacher. She is very helpful!! She enjoys what she does and wants you to know the material well. You do get homework, but it's not that bad. I highly recommend her!

This class is not just an easy A. If you study your notes and really go over the exercises again you will do fine. However most people feel since they somewhat listen in class the test wont be that hard. You really have to sit down and reread your notes and go over review exercises to pass with a good grade. Dont look for much bonus.

I didn't like how she expected the students to complete and understand an month's worth of journal entries, adjusting entries, trial balance, income statement, retained earnings statement, balance sheet, closing entries, a worksheet, and whatever else is needed without even going over anything and giving few check figure

First of all, i will say she is a very sweet lady! attending class is easy because you basically fill in the blanks for the notes everyday and she rarely keeps you the whole time. i personally thought her tests were very hard, she gives you a study guide but you're better off with just studying every single thing that has been put in the notes!

GREAT teacher but let me just say this, i have never had to wait for a final grade as long as i have had to wait for hers! so, if you want your grade up quickly, all i can say is GOOD LUCK!

Mrs. Jones is a very sweet lady. She posts her notes on BB so all you have to do is print them out and come to class. Although, they are kind of lengthy!! She seems to drag things out a bit too much! She is very helpful! Her tests are pretty easy as long as you study your notes! She likes to give out candy and bring the "EASY" button for tests! Ha!

Ms. Jones is very helpful and understanding. She puts the notes on Black Board, and goes over them in class. All of the homework assigned, pertains to the material that is being taught. This comes in handy when studying for the tests. The Practice Set is lengthy, but it gives you hands on experience with preparing and posting entries.

Very easy and on TU/TH she lets you out of class early everyday. Great teacher. I would recommend her to anyone.

She puts notes up on powerpoint and fills them in during class. As long as you study those notes along with the exercises, you should do fine. She's also a very pleasant teacher to converse with, which is always a good thing. Would recommend.

I had Ms. Jones for my first accounting course and ACCT 221. She is an amazing and caring teacher. She wants to see you do well, but you are still responsible for earning your grade. She is one of my favorite teachers I have ever had at SLU. I am sad to not have her again. Just print the notes and bring them to class to fill in.

Ms. Kris Jones is one of the best and sweetest professors. She really cares that her students understand what they are learning and will help you to no end if you ask for it. Attend class to fill in the notes and pay attention to the problems. You will have a terrific foundation in accounting in the end.

Very helpful teacher. Although her quizes might be scary, her test are super easy.. and this is a secret that answer for one question may be availabe in other question on same test.. just look for it and u will find it if you have studied!

I really can't recommend Ms. Jones enough! She's such a great teacher and she's so nice. If you have any questions at all she will help you in a heart beat. Her class isn't too hard at all.

Excellent teacher; breaks everything down. Plenty of opportunity to grasp material. Had been close to 20 years since my intro accounting, and I was able to pick up right where I left off due to her manner of teaching. So-so on homework; bonus opportunities; tests not bad at all if you spend much time studying, do homework and come to class.

This class has a LOT of info, but Ms. Jones goes through it step by step as clearly as possible. Her outlined notes are so helpful and organized- compared to 30 pg chpts. Class isn't mandatory, but it gives you the advantage in the long run. Extra credit opps, easy assign., and a lot of assistance on her part. but Study! She's always enthusiastic!

Ms. Jones is a wonderful teacher, with really helpful and organized chapter notes. The class is a lot of work and studying, but Ms. Jones is open and willing to help as needed. Take for acct200 and acct221!!!

Mrs. Jones is great! I though I was going to struggle with this class, but do to her teaching skills, connect homework, learn smart, and exams I did really well! She is by far the best accounting teacher I have had. Responds to emails really quick. A very detailed review session and study guide. Offer bonus points which is nice!

Mrs. Jones gives chapter notes and study guides for every exam. Study the terms carefully and you'll pass her tests with no problems!

This teacher is awesome. She is super clear about what she intends to do. Gives you easy notes and examples or the exact answers to homework problems. She is a easy pass if you just show up. Minimal effort and she is just all around a nice person! Wish she thought more than just for level accounting!

She is a hoot. Her night class isn't too bad as she lets you out about an hour early. Since it is only once a week you can't really miss more than one class. If you have a problem with your internet while doing your homework, let her know and most likely she will extend it until the next day. I'm taking her next semester. Shes awesome.

Ms. Jones is one of the sweetest teachers I know (besides Ms. Bass). She's witty, and her class was very easy. She prints out her entire lecture notes and goes along with them with you. Study that, and the study guide she gives you, and you're guaranteed an A. If you're lazy and want to cram, you won't. This class was easy, but you have to make it.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.! I took acct w/ a different prof at 1st & was failing but got everything when I took Kris Jones. She gives great notes (fill in the blank) w/ example probs that are almost exactly the same as ur HW. If u miss a class she will send u the notes if u ask. Tests are easy, no confusing questions, just understand all the material.

This class was easy. It just was.. Do any extra credit early on because there is none later. She's very nice but lectures can be boring. One tip: Use your laptop to access the ebook on wiley on days when she requires the book in class. The book is massive. I didn't understand why I was the only person in the class that did that.

Mrs. Jones is a genuinely nice and caring lady. She assigns online homework for each chapter, but it is pretty simple. Her lectures are short, so we got out of class early pretty much every day. Her tests are straight from the notes and study guide. The material can be boring, but if you pay even a little attention the class will be easy.

She's a great teacher, and is very nice, positive, and understanding! She keeps lectures short and sweet, still giving you all of the information you need to know. The material covered is a bit more difficult than in ACCT200. Just be sure to use your study guide and go back to your notes to study for exams. The practice set is alot of work but easy

She makes a hard class very simple. There's a lot of tedious homework involved, but she always ended class early so she could have tutoring which was a huge help & there are example of HW problems in the class notes that help a lot. Tests are pretty straightforward if you fill out the study guides. Super approachable too.

Go to class you can not skip,unless you are good at teaching your self. Tests come straight from her review she gives out. Could make an easy A if you do the reviews. Gives you extra credit on wiley homework. Great teacher for accounting majors. Funny humor! Gives you candy every test!!

She posts all of her notes online, all you have to do is print them out and fill in the blanks in class. Super easy, and you always get out early. She posts exam reviews for each tests, and they're exactly what you need to know for the exam. Only grades are 4 tests and 10 chapters of homework. She does offer a good bit of bonus points.

Super sweet lady. She would give you notes on Moodle, you print them, and in class you would fill in the blanks. Not hard, but you need to go to class. Test were alright, I did great on the first 2, final was hard for me. But then again i didn't study a lot for the final, so STUDY.

Kris Jones is one of those professors that are pretty easy, you just have to study. Fill in the blank notes for every class (everyone always printed them out, while I typed them in on my laptop). You do have to study for the tests, but her study guides are really good to review.

Such a sweet lady! Very dedicated. She types the notes straight out of the book so that you don't have to bring the 15lb. bible to class. Show up to class to complete the notes. I did not find the material difficult but some classmates did. If you're an accounting major and have problems with this course, maybe consider another career.

Second time taking her. She's such a sweet lady and is always willing to help you better understand the material. Some people find her hard because instead of having to take your own notes, she has fill in the blank notes, but if you go back and read through those, you'll get a better understanding. The practice set looks scary, but it's not bad:)

People who thought her class was hard obviously didn't pay attention. Fill in the blank notes that you obviously have to go back and read if you don't understand. Her office is always open if you have questions about anything accounting. The practice set of the accounting cycle isn't hard, and she's very helpful. And she brings candy for her tests!

By far my favorite teacher at SELU! Her notes are all fill in the blank, and her test are completely multiple choice. Her homework is easy and she is willing to help you if you don't find it so. She gave a few bonus homework assignments as well that she worked in class. She brings candy before the test. She is literally the best. Take her.

Kris Jones was an amazing instructor! Her classes are easy and she gives you notes that you fill in while she lectures. Her test are moderate you do have to put forth effort but its pretty easy going class. She also gives candy regularly and especially on test days. Very sweet lady.

If you fill in the notes as she goes, study from those notes, and do the homework, then you will do fine. She gives lots of bonus opportunities and if you put in a smidgen of effort you will pass her class with ease. She is very easy to speak to and is more than willing to listen and help you out if you ask.

Dr. Jones is one of the best professors I have taken. She is so sweet, just like a little grandma. She really cares about your grade and will stay after class to make sure you understand it. I would definitely recommend her!

She is amazing. All of her notes are guided so it is very easy to follow along. The homework gives you 3 tries for each question so if you make a small calculation error it won't ruin your grade. One of the nicest professors on campus, I'm taking her again next semester

She was always energetic any time she taught the class. Shes very helpful outside of the classroom & offers to help after each class. I plan on taking her again in Accounting 221 next semester.

Kris Jones is an amazing professor! She has fill-in notes which are easy to study and follow along in class. The Wiley homework she assigns is all similar to the problems in the notes. There are multiple ways to earn extra credit and if you complete the study guides, the tests will be easy. She really tries to make accounting fun and easier!

By taking her Accounting Class 200 is easy to understand how to do math. The homework is very similar to the ones on note that she will give during her lecture. If you have any question you can ask her and she'll reply back. Of course, if you study the notes will do great. Also she gives out bonus points as well. I recommend her for this class.

Jones obviously loves her job. I took her in the summer. She worked around every students schedule to pick the perfect test days/times. This was very kind of her. The tests are just like the homework. she offered many bonus opportunities. Her notes are fill in the blank and are easy to follow.

calls her tests quizzes which honestly confused me. there is only 3-4 quizzes throughout the semester. lots of homework online. you have to study to pass. gives out candy everyday and is very encouraging. super sweet and wants you to pass.

Ms Jones had a lot going on in her personal life this semester, but never neglected her classes. About 25% of the time the class is online, and theres homework due every Sunday. Use the notes she provides!! Her tests and homeworks are almost the same format as the notes! She has about 6 chances for bonus points, which bumped my grade up a letter

Mrs. Jones is the sweetest professor ever. She's very passionate about accounting and even gives us candy every class. She posts notes for us to print for class then once we are done, she posts them filled in and even lecture videos too. We have homework for each chapter and she gives us extra credit assignments too! I would take her again

She is the sweetest teacher, brought candy to every class, always in a good mood. But if you rlly want to learn accounting this class wasn't the best. Notes are fill in the blank & homework is exactly like the examples in the notes. Homework was more math side but tests more of vocab/memorization. Very easy class but don't feel like I learned much.

Shes so nice. Most people have a pretty easy time with her class. You definitely need to put effort into it because this is one of the core basic accounting classes. It leads into a lot of the higher level classes. She always had a positive attitude and helped us if we needed it out of class.
