The way Dr. B taught this class I should have gotten an "A". He encourages class participation and he'll call on you if you don't! He teaches this class in such a way that you want to do well. He hasgreat explanation and excellent examples. He is such a great teacher, I feel like I let him down by only making a "C". Highly recommend.

The professor is extremely intelligent. He does have a strong accent but you are able to understand him or he will repeat himself if asked. He gives plenty of opportunities to gain extra points through the semester as the test are difficult. Be prepare to read the book several times for the tests! He test are very hard and are not what he reviews with the class or what we have read. He is a very helpful teach and very understanding. He helps us to improve are grade by giving extra credit. He gives quizzes where the class can share answers and also help us with.

Its a very good class. the professor explain very clearly , but sometimes confuse the audience with too much explanation. the used of power point is very helpful and the animation and videos are very interesting. allows the student to discuss and be active in the classroom. HE just need more experiments and group exercise to improve.

This was a super fun class, I loved the labs! Didn't like the online work too much but the class was an all over great experience.

Dr. B is a really helpful professor, I like that about 90% of our classes were hands on, which is the way I learn.

Let him know if you miss anything, or if you need to make up assignments, he is really understanding. Just let him know whats up.

He likes us to call him Dr. B, and he is a pretty cool person overall. I always bully him and he takes it pretty well and his comebacks are weak. Gives a lot of online work and the tests are kind of hard.

Excellent Lecture sessions

I took this course online for spring 2015. Students need to allot themselves plenty of time to read each chapter. Dr. Krishnan does his part in summarizing the chapters and provides a shortened version lecture and also provides Power Point slides. He provides plenty of instructional information in the syllabus to help a student succeed. He cares.

Even though my class was at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning, I really enjoyed Professor Krishman class. Very lively, and he works hard at getting you to participate and in this way it help him to know how much you understand the work. We did assignments in MyItLab really helps, The extra credits really helps to. Very "Awesome " teacher.

Before I joined his class i was NOT interested, but he showed me a better way to understand that science can be cool. He is very hands on and loves feedback from the class!

I took Prof Balaji course as an online course. He emails you very quickly, and is very nice also. You have to study the chapters, and just read the chapters. EVERYTHING IS THERE!!!

He wants his students to succeed and gives many opportunities to earn credit on assignments. there were a lot of HW on the mastering biology website, but it helped with exams. If you're reading this and trying to decide whether or not you should take him, i recommend you take him for every class you need. This class was fun and he was hilarious.

I took Mr. Balaji class on a saturday morning @ 8:00 Ocolock. His class was fun and very entertaining. From 8:00am to 11pm, He managed to keep me awake with his sense of humor and his great style of teaching. He cares about his students learning and understanding the material, Any issue concerning the class, his always there to help.

Professor Balaji has a different style of teaching from most teachers at HCC. He gives life examples which makes it easier to understand. His test and quizzes are online and gives a whole week to finish them. The amount of assignments was pretty fair. He has made learning fun. Defiantly recommend this professor.

His style of teaching was modern and up to date. His content of teaching is easy that makes you understand. Less online assignments (not quizzes or exams) would be better because we already have a lot to cover during the summer session. He's approachable and helpful. He gave facts that correlate to my field of study, so I learned a lot.

Proffesor Krishnan knows everything about Anatomy by heart. He doesn't have to look at a textbook to lecture and he also is really helpful if you have any questions or many questions, like myself, he is willing to answer them all. Mr. Balaji was a sweet teacher. He definitely wants everyone to learn something from his classes. There is some work to do but it's absolutely manageable. Personally his accent is quite deep and I really had to listen to understand him. However, he is very approachable and will show mercy on your grade.

I took this class as a hybrid course, and the requirements are pretty clear cut. Since it was a hybrid course you only meet up for lab and you are responsible for learning the lecture material but there are plenty of resources available. Dr. Krishnan is very enthusiastic about biology and he made the class much more interesting.

As a teacher he is energetic, engaging and has a friendly disposition to help out and answer any questions you may have. He genuinely enjoys teaching. His class is pretty straightforward. Aside from the lab reports, you have three online lab exams and two lab exams. Although the exams are challenging, you have many opportunities for extra credit.

Hybrid class, lecture & 3 exams were online, so I cant believe people are saying the exams were hard, final is a District Comprehensive Final, lab was once a week,do ALL of your assignments, including the extra credit and you will do fine. If you are lazy and irresponsible, you will fail, but you will probably fail all science courses you attempt

He gives you plenty of opportunities to EARN extra credit. Hybrid class, lectures were online, 3 exams and quizzes online, but the District Comprehensive Final was in class, that's HCC requirement. He isn't going to GIVE you anything, so lazy & unorganized people shouldn't take him, but you probably shouldn't be in college either.

Hybrid class, lab in class, district comprehensive final for all HCC students, no review, gives you lots of opportunities to do extra credit. You must pay attention, do your homework, labs, extra credit and you can make at least a B. If you are lazy, you will fail.

Hybrid class, so you are expected to read the lecture book & ask questions during lab since we only met once a week. He's gives many opportunities for you to earn extra credit, enough to turn a C into a B, fair grader, LAZY & Unorganized students don't waste your time and money, he's not going to babysit or give you anything.

Any one that whines about having to do a little extra is clearly doing themselves a disservice. This Professor does expect you to read and be on your game, as you should be being that you are in college. I think if people stopped waiting for some one to give them the answers and worked a little harder, they will find pride in their success.

I do not regret taking this class with Dr. Balaji. A&P II has its challenges but Dr. Balaji is willing to re-explain any material until you understand it. He does have a great sense of humor. Taking Dr. Balaji's A&P2 5 course class over the summer was the best decision yet. We all know that A&P is already hard enough without a teacher, but Dr. Balaji class wasn't hard at all. He made the learning environment positive. He made sure he kept us all attentive throughout the lectures and made labs interesting.

He explains everything in a way you can relate to it. He is super hilarious, so class is never boring. He knows we are human, mistakes, life, and other things come up, so he is forgiving and truly cares. This is a science base class therefore, reading, and work will be needed. He is also very attentive when responding to emails in a timely manner. Don't be afraid to ask questions , he doesn't mind them because it lets him know your willing to learn. I enjoy taking class with him this summer, he gives you more than just what is on the course powerpoint, but he also gives examples of different systems affecting our health. This test is kind of tough, you need to understand the material well, if you want to do good on the test.

5wk summer class, online exams, district compreh. final, no review, its HCCs requirement. Lots of work, Balaji will give you all the resources you need in order to make an A. The lectures were interesting. The lab exam, comprehensive & I don't believe that it should've been. If you take the course in the Fall 2016, take him, it should be easier

Dr. Balaji is an excellent professor, he inspires you to think critically. His lectures are in depth and welcomes any questions you may have. Definitely inspires a desire for science! Labs are pretty cool too.

Professor Balaji Krishnan was a very great teach 4 exams, he give you review for each exam if you study you will pass. Just make sure you do all quizzes, and homework online. Please don't forget to study for the Departmental final exam it's worth 20% of your grade. Professor Krishnan is funny which make you want to come to class.
