She is a cool teacher all you have to do to pass and take good notes and study them and you will get a good grade. I reccommend her as the best teacher I took so far here at San Diego City College!

Has been working in the field for a long time. Creates nice PPT presentations and makes them available on her website for download (helps in note taking). Gives little tidbids of info to make things interesting. (ex. A sneeze travels at 103 mph.) Hard summer course - lots of info to cover in short period of time.

This teacher was extremely easy! I ended up over studying for the first test and it was really easy. She is one of my favorite teachers at City College and I look forward to taking another one of her classes next semester. summer school was a bit intense because there was so much reading in a short amount of time. However if you read the text book and study from the study guide it is an easy A.

I had her for human sexual behavior and I never opened the text book or took notes yet I managed to come out with an A. Attendance and paying attention is key. The material is so interesting that it'll just stick to you without rigorous note taking.

She is clear with her study guide and whatever's on the test is on her study guide. Very fair. Available to students and there is no such thing as a dumb question with her.

If everyone took Dr. Cole's sexuality class the world would be a much better place. The whole class had a lot of fun exploring the physical, psychological, and social aspects of sexuality. The textbook was actually an interesting read and worth keeping. She's great at incorporating class discussions in the lectures and everyone had a great time.

I respect that she came from a recovery perspective when lecturing. Anyone can earn a good grade in her class if you show up, pay attention with an open mind, do the term paper, and study prior to every test.

It was nice to see an emphasis on therapy rather than medicine alone to treat problems. Exams test your ability to diagnose disorders. Only a few homework assignments.

The class consists of six reflections from the book, and a portfolio at the end.

I took asynchronous abnormal psychology with Dr. Cole. She is incredibly nice, and uses the Cengage MindTap format for almost all assignments (there are a lot, but theyre pretty easy!) minus a few discussion posts. Gives great feedback wherever feedback is actually applicable.

Dr Cole was an excellent professor. She gave very useful feedback in the discussions and was engaging. As it was an online class, her lectures were all pre-recorded but I enjoyed them so much and learned a lot not just about abnormal psychology, but also tips that I can use in my own life. She graded quickly so you always knew where you were at.

Best teacher I've had so far. There is multiple easy 10 question quizzes for each chapter and some discussions. It's an easy class to pass. She provides plenty of information but gets straight to the point. Also liked that I was able to work ahead.

It was an 8 week class and everything was very straightforward. You do have to buy the textbook which is a bit of money. But it was a very helpful class because the professor gives amazing feedback on careers in psych that interest you. Great class overall!

I took the accelerated psy201 course, but honestly the work was very easy to do. At most this class took me an hour per week. She's very reachable in case you need help with anything, and she's a pretty lenient grader. No complaints

I love this professor! Her course content for accelerated Psych 137 was so interesting and I would take her again. I found myself often going far over the word count for her discussion posts because of how interesting the course content was. Only downside is how expensive the textbook was. An amazing professor, kind, and communicative.
