Dr. Davidson is a GREAT professor. She has her own practice so she shares her stories with us. She also leaves a lot of discussion time for the students to share. Her class is fun, interesting, and she REALLY wants you to do well. There are many opportunities to bring up your grade if its not good. Definitely a good professor to pick!

Dr. K is sucha great teacher. She always wants her students to do well. She makes quizes to help your grade. She goes over everything in class. Get to know her personally and she will help you out.

Davidson is a good teacher. She is very good at incorporating her life experiences into her teaching which adds a spark to GSPYC160. Tests are hard because of the massive amounts of material covered, genogram is an interesting assignment, and the application paper really is not that difficult. Would list her as the #2 GSPYC160 professor.

She has a sarcastic sense of humor which can be great when learning a boring topic and has a strong understanding of the information from all aspects. She is a therapist as well and integrates her experience into the lesson. Her tests are kinda hard if u dont pay attention but the questions come straight from the lecture and book.

AMAZING! She makes psych fun, and gives great examples so it's easy to understand. Amazing sense of humor, too. She's a therapist, so she has some great stories and real-life applications! She's fair and doesn't play favorites; however, she does make a sincere effort to get to know her students. You'll have to study, but she's the best teacher!

This class pushed me to think outside the box and was full of guest speakers and thoughtful discussions. It is so relevant to our times... we all need to take it!!

Honors Psychology of Sexual Diversity. GREAT class. Definitely take if you can. Covered a variety of really relevant, interesting topics related to LGBTQ issues. Really makes you think. And, wonderful professor! Great to talk to, very straightforward, and funny.

Dr. K is a part time counselor so definitely knows what she's talking about. You'll bust your butt outside of class and not do much in class. Quiz every week on 30 page chapters, that are so detailed and tricky that you may not do well even if you took detailed notes. Assigns very nit-picky papers. Take a different counseling prof if you can!!!!!!

Expected an A since I got basically the highest test scores on each and every test but I got a 040 in the participation category which killed my grade. She is serious about participation counting. Still kind of in shock about my grade.

Dr. Davidson expects a great amount out of her students, but reciprocates with even more on her own part. She enjoys quasi-experimental classrooms, so if you sign up for her expect to go be a part of her class, not just get a grade for it. Also, I have learned more writing skills from her feedback than any English class, which says something.

Professor Davidson is honestly the best. Shes sarcastic, super sweet, and her class is a breeze. Four multiple choice tests, all under 30 questions. If you read the textbook and write down what she says in the lecture its an Easy A. Even if you skim the textbooks and just pay attention to her lectures your looking at an A or a B. EASIEST CLASS EVER

Dr. K was an awesome professor. Definitely expects you to put in the work and she won't let you get by with just doing the minimal work. She gives some of the best feedback on papers I've ever gotten and this wasn't a writing or english course. She poses tough questions that make you think -- her class definitely changed my mindset, take her!

This was the psychology of sexual diversity-extremely interesting. I actually wanted to go to class. She does assign weekly quizzes and long papers but the work is extremely manageable. Must read for every class so you are able to take quizzes and participate. Would definitely take again.

By far my favorite professor I've had so far. Lots of videos/ movie days with almost no homework, and just 4 short essays and a small group project at the end of the semester. She'll occasionally assign books but most of the time you can just wing it and still sound like you know what you're talking about. TAKE HER!!!

I love Dr. K! Her class consists of reading the assigned chapters, in class lectures and four non-cumulative exams. Her exams are not easy A's however if you actually study an A is obtainable. She is a very friendly, helpful professor and her lectures are easy to follow. I would definitely take her again!

Dr. K is FANTASTIC! Really down to Earth and gives great (and hilarious) lectures. There are 4 tests that can be difficult if you don't attend class and/or don't read the book. All the tests though are non-cumulative and multiple choice. PARTICIPATION MATTERS - she's big on discussion. Engage in class and you should do fine! Definitely recommended!
