GREAT teacher! Very young, sweet, and really knows how to make Spanish understandable. I'm definitely getting an A. One Speaking exam, and a few written exams. Lots of homework, but its fun and easy. She offers lots of extra learning opportunities as well as extra credit.

She is an amazing teacher... Very very helpful... Good bit of work but its all super easy... Must go to class.... But I always went anyways because she was hot!

Professor Elley is awesome! Her class is super easy and she makes it fun. You have 2 oral exams and 4 written exams and she drops the lowest. HW everyday but very short. She is also by far the hottest teacher at Kennesaw

I LOVED THIS CLASS!!! This professor is awesome! Her class was really fun to attend, and you do a lot of in class stuff to reinforce the material. As long as you participate in class, do the homework (which is always easy), and study for at least an hour for the exams you'll def make an A. She's one of the best professors I've had at KSU!

LOVELY WOMAN!!!!!! Seriously, she speaks spanish with us before, during, and after class. She is so passionate and always smiling. I love her attitude and she is funny too. Def makes me love Spanish even more and inspires me to continue it. Tests are hard so study like crazy for them. Other than that, very enjoyable!

Señora Elley was awesome!!! Took her class online & was a little nervous at first because it is a foreign language. However, I learned so much and the Skype oral exams REALLY helped in learning the Spanish language. I would def recommend her. She is very kind and makes sure every student is helped.

Wonderful professor! Very friendly and she responds to emails very quickly. A lot of weekly assignments, along with the WEBSam assignments. About 2-3 oral intervies via Skype. Tests are online and the Final is taken on campus. Easy class. Just do all of the assignments on time. No make-up work.

I'm a biology major, but she is one of the best professors I've had. She never made me feel dumb for saying the wrong thing like so many foreign language professors can do. Spanish isn't her first language either so she understands the mistakes we make. Almost everyone in the class was engaged. It was a great semester.

Sra. Elley is truly the best Spanish teacher I've had so far. She makes different activities for each day. WebSAM is a lot of homework, but it helps a lot. Pen pals are a lot of fun to do. Tests were pretty much okay. 2 comps and 2 skits. It's a lot of work, but she's so helpful in a lot of the things. I would take her again.

She is a wonderful person and a gifted teacher. She is willing to work with you no matter the problem you may have. Several tests that were challenging, but not impossible to do well. Lots of speaking activities which are always helpful when learning a new language. Very encouraging and I would definitely recomend her to anyone.

I can't even express how awesome Señora Elley is. Best class I've taken. She's so sweet and never makes you feel dumb for not knowing something or for giving the wrong answer. Homework after every class but it's relatively easy. All in all a very easy class to pass. Take her!!!

Professor Elley made me really excited about spanish. She really gets involved with the class and does a lot of partner work and she calls on people randomly sometimes to answer questions but his was a good thing because it really helped me to succeed in the class. I really know some spanish now after taking just an intro class with her.

Never have I ever had a better Spanish teacher. Honestly, Sra. Elley is amazing. As long as you do your part and stay involved in class, she'll have your back. She always helps you understand what is being taught and has an answer for anything. She's super sweet and is just a great Spanish teacher. I didn't mind having a M-R class with her.

Profesora Elley is INCREDIBLE. Best Spanish teacher I've ever taken. She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to learn, and she's very understanding. You do have to put forth effort and try if you want an A, but if you do, you'll definitely succeed in her class.

I loved Sra Elley. The class was easy to me, but I am a Spanish minor who took 3 years in high school. She really cares about you and wants you to succeed. She's always there, approachable, funny, and really nice. She will basically guide you through class and help whenever you need it. I'd take her for all my minor classes if I could. TAKE TAKE!!

Prof Elley is one of my favorite professors of all time. She is engaging and incredibly sweet. She makes the class very fun. All oral projects and written compositions were in a group of 3. She isn't a tough grader, but you do have to put in an effort to get an A. If you took more than 2 years of Spanish in high school, this class will be a breeze.

Sra. Elley is the best teacher I have taken at KSU thus far. She makes class fun, I have never made so many friends in a class in college. There are several group projects, which aren't difficult, and she grades you based on your performance. She makes you interact with classmates often, and there is online homework (3/week). Highly recommend her.

Professor Elley is the best professor I've had. She wants everyone to succeed and she makes learning Spanish interesting. Don't have your phone out in class and always participate because it's a good chunk of your final grade. Do the homework!! It's a lot, but it helps you on the tests and is a big part of your grade.

Senora Elley is the Best ! She is caring and gives great feed back. She is clear with all her instructions. She is the best Spanish teacher you can ask for. If you do the work you will get a good grade. Connect is required and it comes with an ebook so the hard copy is not required. You do get an attendance grade and class is very engaging.

Sra. Elley is probably one of the best Spanish professors I've had in my 5 years of Spanish. She care so much for her students and is an amazing person. She teaches the class in 90% spanish but its very easy to have her clarify something. As long as you give this class and her an honest effort, you will pass with flying colors.

If this tells you anything, my major has nothing to do with foreign language and I am taking her class again in the fall. There are a couple of tests and a final and homework that is done through Connect and a couple of group projects but nothing too overbearing. Professor Elley is very understanding, caring, and willing to help anyone who asks.

Professor Elley is as caring of a professor as I have ever had. 2001 is one of the harder spanish classes to take, but her lectures make it easy to learn and understand. She is always ready to answer whatever questions you have. Homework is done through connect and there is a minor project and exam at the end of every chapter.

The spanish class I took with her was one of my best classes by far. Attendance is pretty much mandatory, but you can miss 2 days without penalty. She was so great about working with me to make sure I succeeded in her class and was very patient and understanding. There is a lot of homework, but they are all easy 100%. SHe is the best!

THE BEST SPANISH TEACHER, she emails you ways to improve your work and lets you redo it or fix it, she's super funny, her powerpoint are crucial (NOT LONG) but have extra credit. You do seesaw activities but don't use google translate. She would rather you mess up then do it. The textbook is free she provides

Very activity oriented through apps like seesaw and connect. As long as you do your homework and the activities, it is pretty simple. The extra credit she gives is hidden in the weekly tab but easy to find. The professor is pretty understanding and willing to adjust things if needed.

This professor is very well organized and the class was very well structured. She gives good feedback and as long as you complete everything on her weekly checklist you will do great. You will have to complete a lot of practice assignments in Connect but they're pretty easy if you study the text that is provided through the online portal.

Even though I did not get to go in person, I loved prof Elley. She popped in in some of her powerpoints, and replied to our posts and was always so happy. There are weekly assignments on Connect and Seesaw, but they are pretty easy. Overall great teacher and I would 200% take her class again.

Shes so awesome! I wish to take another course with her soon! Class was fun. Lots of speaking. The PPts are on D2L, and they are a good resource. The HW is through Mcgraw Hill & those dates sneak up on you. For each chpt I went through the textbook and made a list for all the vocab! Having a list of the vocab in class is super helpful! Fun class!

She is the best Spanish teacher Ive ever had! She gives great feedback and she emails back quickly! Everything is through connect and seesaw, but everything is fairly easy. She also grades things really quickly. If you turn in your work and study, you will do GREAT in her class.

Only cons were the weekly homeworks (which only took like 20 minutes to do, TOPS) and the groupwork in class. Not projects, just walking around the classroom or getting paired with the person next to you while everyone attempts to speak Spanish with each other. GREAT teacher, super sweet. Easy enough class, 100% worth taking. DO IT.

One of my favorite teachers ever! She is seriously the nicest person and is there to help you. She responds to emails quickly and is a fast grader. You practice speaking a lot in class and then have online homework assignments. Those are pretty easy, just don't wait until right before they're due to start them. Do yourself a favor and take her!

Took this class asynchronously. I thought it was very easy. 3 exams and a final plus connect homework and a seesaw activity each week. There is a project to go along with each exam at the end of the chapter, nothing too difficult though. She is a very easy grader and answers emails very quickly. I would take her again!!

Would definitely take again because its a super fun class. There is a bit of talking/participation inside class but you mostly stay within your table or small groups which is good. Professor Elley is super nice and keeps her class pretty lighthearted and fun and her activities are pretty simple once you start them!

Professor Elley is super sweet and runs the classroom well. She speaks in Spanish about 75% of the time and English the other 25%, but you are allowed to ask questions in either language and she'll usually answer questions in English. Homework and tests on Connect so not a huge need to study & a few fun and easy projects! Very relaxed class!

Professora Elley was absolutely amazing! So helpful and caring towards her students. I took her for Spanish 1001 and was really hoping to take her for 1002 as well but she didn't teach the course this semester. If she ever teaching a class I need again, I would take it in a heart beat! Don't keep looking, just take her class!

Professor Elley is a caring and kindhearted person. Her class was so much fun I looked forward to going to her class. She assigns HW on connect but it isn't too hard or long. There were seesaw activities due every Friday and they were easy too. We had a lot of group projects where you had to get up and talk with other people in the room. TAKE HER!

Allows notes on every test and the final. One final project and you present in groups. A few connect assignments and a seesaw activity since its a hybrid. In class you usually just talk and she'll ask you questions in Spanish. Sometimes she does fun activities in class as well. Attendance is worth 10% of your grade. Would definitely take again.

TAKE HER FOR SPANISH. If you are someone with no Spanish experience whatsoever she is the BEST and EASIEST you will ever have. Assignments are easy and done through connect with weekly Seesaw activities which are a breeze. She is very caring and makes class interesting and fun so you actually WANT to show up. It is VERY HARD not to get an A+.

Prof Elley is a super energetic person and made learning Spanish super fun. She had us talking, listening, and answering questions in Spanish the entire class. We hardly spent time just listening to her lecture. There were tests and projects. If you aren't a good tester don't worry because the projects count more than tests.

She is super sweet and if you ever have a personal problem she is willing to help you out. Only downside is almost all the coursework for the online class is on a website called Connect which kinda sucks for learning Spanish for the first time. The other assignments are video presentations which she always grades lightly and with nice feedback.

Attendance is mandatory and she gives 2 free passes before it starts impacting your grade. All the tests are openbook and there are 3 projects spaced throughout the semester which took 3-4 hours.

Took her for Intro Spanish as a dual-enrollment student. Some of my professors since have made me nostalgic. She is such a lovely person and such a joy to work with. Her smile and sense of humor make every class a pleasure. She finds her job fulfilling and it shows. Group presentations were a blast. She has nothing to prove and everything to teach.
