Kris was a good teacher. She never mentioned the troops or her lack of support in my writing class. Maybe these individuals misunderstood her or what she said. I even went to her to help me with my dental hygiene essays, and she was so helpful and nice then and when we were in class. Good sence of humor and always smiling. Good assignments as well.

Fink is a great teacher. I took her web class, and was a little wary of the format, but she made it fun. She was always available for help and was very willing to meet in person. The student who rated her poorly should not have started the class, since she knew she was going to be deployed. I know Kris is a good, fair person and her class was fun.

Kris is a good teacher, very involved and always available to help. She does challenge you though, which is good. Some of the due dates can be confusing in the beginning, but you get used to them. Your grade doesn't soley rely on papers, which is good if you aren't the strongest writer.

I took her mythology class (LIT 250). Kris is an enthusiastic teacher and really gets involved with her class. We did a lot of group and class disscussions every class. My only gripe is that she gives a lot of homework. I would usually feel overwhelmed by it every week and I think she became unrealistic about it esp. at end of term.

Kris is a very enthusiastic teacher and you can tell she really enjoys teaching. She is very willing to help and answer questions. She has a good sense of humor and really makes the class fun. We had some kind of paper due just about every week, but nothing too difficult. Plus she allows for topic creativity. I would gladly take her class again!

Don't get me wrong, it was a very hard class and at times a bit confusing on the homework assignments but I learned a lot and did a lot of writing. I took her half online writing class and she used every last minute of every class.

Kris, Was great! It is true about the homework, there is a lot but it is all worth it. You learn a lot, although it is a little hard to no exactly what she is looking for at times. I learned a great deal in this last quarter and received an A in her class.

Amazing, but you better do your homework! She puts lots of time and energy in her classes. She doesn't use a book. She found everything online which makes it easy and cheap! Fun, easy going but really strict. I'm an ESOL and she showed no mercy, which made me learn a lot! I cannot wait to have her again!

Kristen's class will keep you busy, but her assigned readings and essay topics are all pretty interesting. You won't be bored. I took her course on-line and was impressed by how adept she is at on-line instruction. She is a prompt and fair grader. I would recommend her class and take another class from her if the opportunity arose.

I loved Kris' class but it really kicked my butt. Every essay was a struggle for me. She worked with me a lot. She's funny and the assigned readings are INTERESTING. She does one on one conferences so you always know where you're at. She expects a lot, but she's there to help. I'm taking a class from her again this term.

Kris is a great instructor and is extremely flexible. She puts a lot of effort into her classes and expects the same from students. Take the time to do your homework right the first time, though. Assigned readings can be lengthy, but usually very interesting. Quizzes are easy and straight-to-the-point. I took her class online. Highly recommended.

Took this class online, which proved to be my mistake. She expects a lot of her students, readings usually very long, but very interesting articles. Probably one of the best, if not the best, organized online classes I have taken. If you want to be a better writer, take her class.

Wonderful teacher! She takes her time with each students work and provides insightful comments. She structures her online class very well so that her lectures, expectations, and assignments are clear and user friendly. Her quizzes are an EASY A, and she's a fair, but not easy, grader for papers. Although 122 is online be prepared to work for an A.

The class will make you a better writer but be prepared to devote a ton of time and effort if you want a good grade.

She was a fun Teacher I recommend the hybrid class half online half in person. I learned a lot. She does tend to grade the first one harsh because she wants you to revise it. Otherwise she gives a lot of extra credit.

She is always in a good mood and ready to teach. She gave reasonable boundaries to complete work in, and made sure she clearly let you know what it was she assigned. She gave back great feedback for what she expected, and never left me feeling like I didn't know what was going on. I love how energetic she was.

So thankful Kris took over my English class! I wasn't learning anything, and she changed this. She is funny and fun. What I really appreciated was that she asked the class what they needed to learn and worked with us to be a really informative teacher.

You only have to do three papers during the term, but they are a little difficult and require an ample amount of research. Mrs. Fink really does care about her students and gives a lot of feedback on papers to help you pass the class with an A. She may not like late work, but she does accept if you let her know before hand.

This is was my first writing class in over twenty years. I have dyslexia and writing is very challenging. Mrs. Fink was wonderful to work with and supportive of my learning curve. I wish I could take more classes with her for my degree.

Kris is one of the most amazing professors. She's seriously a gem. She gives great feedback on your papers and discussion posts, as well as makes an effort to get back to you in a timely fashion. Kris Fink is amazing! I was nervous about taking an online class, but I am glad I did because I learned so much! All of the weekly essays were very thought-provoking and required a lot of critical thinking. I did not think it was possible to learn so much from one class especially an online class, but Kris proved me wrong.

This class was way easy. Felt like it was 9th grade. Flexible with deadlines if you ask, pretty lax overall. Canceled a quiz when it was evident that 90% of the class wasn't aware of there being a reading. A few essays including a longer one toward the end and a few peer workshops are expected of you, but it's nothing unmanageable. Lots of EC.

I loved this professor! She does give A LOT of reading for discussions but the reading material is always really enjoyable. She also gives AMAZING feed back for every assignment. She sends an email and completely breaks your grade down for you. She gives extra credit for pretty much every assignment as well! Completely recommend taking online!

Her online lectures were great - lots of pictures and personal touches to break up the lessons, making this class not the boring hours of reading I thought I would be getting into. AMAZING TEACHER. Course layout and subject matter was spectacular, super engaging and interesting. Kris always follows up with you for support and encouragement. Fink was a solid choice for my WR 122 class. While I didn't find her assignments themselves to be quite as engaging as those of my previous writing class, Fink herself was great. Her course was beautifully constructed and well thought-out, and was easily the best experience in terms of clarity and readability I've had in an online course by far.

Here is a quote from her syllabus: "I am also available to meet with you in person at the Southeast Campus or at a mutually agreeable coffee shop--I'll even buy you a cup of coffee!" The world needs teachers like Mrs. Fink. One of the best teachers I have ever had!

One of the best instructors I have ever had; she is very flexible and gives you lots of time to catch up on the assignments that you are struggling with. She is funny and kind and easily teaches you the materials; she is 100% recommended! She gave me more time, even when the class was finished, to catch up on my final project and gave me an A.

Professor Fink is a good teacher, very funny, and offers tons of resources within the course! My only complaint would be that sometimes her assignments aren't immediately clear. I have had to really study the modules to figure out what she is expecting. Other than that, it's a pretty reasonable course.

She is a energetic person and persuade student to express their skill. It is easy to student to improve writing skill in this course. I like her teaching style. Looking for an instructor who actually cares about the students? Kris is the instructor for you. She understands when real life comes up around school life and allows some grace for her students. The material focused not just on learning to write for college, but also on the individual students learning more about themselves, which was a delight.

Kris is one of those teachers who really cares about what they do. There were so many examples and assignments to really help develop writing skills. I had Professor Fink during my first term in college. Five terms later, I would still recommend her as a professor! She has been in my top two. As long as you put effort into your writing, you will pass!

If I could give this professor more than 5 stars, I would. She's easily my favorite teacher in 10 years of school. Clear online structure, fair workload, and even made me enjoy writing. Essays were engaging, extra credit was plentiful, and discussion options kept things fresh. I wish I could take more classes with her!
