She was extremely helpful, very energetic and into her course/material. The way the class is structured allows getting a good grade to be very attainable! I would recommend her to any and each student! I've honestly never had a teacher such a great teacher who makes learning this fun!

She's such a chill and laid back professor. Granted I only have her for BAC, but I'm sure she's like that in every other class. She's very lenient when it comes to our assignments. She realizes that the BAC classes are only 1 credit so she doesn't stress us out. She's always hilarious. It's only 50 minutes once a week, but we always leave early.

Foltz is my absolute favorite professor. If you don't take her than you are actually missing out on a good class (Never thought I would say that). She actually wants you to be a good speaker and let me tell you she taught me how to make a powerpoint and now I will never go back to a million words on a slide. I love her and her class. Decided to finish my undergraduate degree at another university and Professor Foltz is one of the reasons that made it so hard to leave. I wish that I could take her with me. Do yourself a favor and take as many classes as you can with her while you attend UT - it will change you for the better.

Foltz is awesome. She is very passionate about her teaching, and knows how to make anything interesting. Always uses hilarious examples for legal situations with kids in the class. Law is very heavy stuff and she makes it as fun as possible. Foltz really wants her students to do well, she is definitely willing to work with you!

I was scared to take this class bc I heard law classes are difficult. Foltz broke down complicated material and made it easy for us to understand. She was always willing to help even outside of class. I def want to go to law school bc of her! Take any class with her you can!

This class was interesting . If you want to go to law school I recommend taking this class with her. She went to law school and has experience as an attorney. She is super funny. The book is used and attendance is mandatory. You have a lot to do in this course though, so don't take it for an easy A.

Foltz has a way of making you quickly become interested in her lectures. I thought taking speech for business would be terrible, but I absolutely loved her class. She is a fair grader, and makes sure you know what you're doing when you present. She is also hilarious which makes getting yourself to class much easier.

I had Foltz for my BAC classes. Very caring and funny, glad I got to spend my first year with her. She does take a little bit to grade, but BAC classes probably aren't her top priority.

App Ad is almost certainly one of the hardest and most demanding classes you will ever take at UT. You will be studying, reading, and practicing the materials daily - with multiple meetings on top of class time. Foltz is the best professor you could ask for in a class like this. Supportive, caring, and passionate - she makes it all worth it.

Moot court is the HARDEST class I've ever taken. Foltz taught me so much about law and public speaking. I am more confident than before having had this class. I feel more prepared for law school and I made good friends along the way. Foltz is the best!

If you want to take a class that isn't difficult and that you will enjoy take Oral Performance of Literature. The entire class is based on reading different works and making them your own. She is the best professor I've ever had. She explains things thoroughly, she's understanding, and she makes this class so much fun.

Listen. If you have to take Speech for Business, TAKE FOLTZ. I'm not a business major, and I use the skills she taught all the time. I had to present the other day, and I used tactics from this class to help me. My professor pulled me aside and told me that mine was the most interesting. I cannot say enough good things about her.

I had Foltz for business law and I loved her and her energy. I took her for business speech over winter intersession and the class was difficult considering it was condensed but she helped us in so many ways. She cares about her job and her students and always has a sense of humor. She has been my favorite teacher in my whole college career.

She emphasizes reading, but I honestly didn't read that much and did fine on the exams, but doing the reading does help. I had her class at 8am, but her energy and jokes liven up having an 8am. LOVE HER!! Professor Foltz is one of my all time favorites at UT! I took this class just to fulfill a writing intensive requirement, but I ended up enjoying it so much more than I anticipated. 2 research papers and 2 corresponding speeches, the rest of the grades are midterm/final and 4 mini journals (super easy).

Literally the best professor i've ever had at UT She'll give a great amount of feedback on all of your assignments, give great lectures to improve your public speaking abilities, and is super engaging as well.

I was very scared to take a law class but foltz made things super easy to understand. The book for the class was hard to read but she did a good job of explaining everything. We talk about current events a lot that connect to the class. Tests are very hard so be prepared to study A LOT. I would hands down take her again!

If you get the chance to take Foltz do it she is the best and you will be able to get comfortable within the class and with her. Don't be afraid about public speaking in her class she will genuinely help you and not tear you down if you mess up. If I could take more classes with her I would.

Amazing professor and person. I took BAC 101 and 201 with her and I could not have asked fr a better professor. She was very open and engaging with the class and was always there for us. Class was easy and the grading was pretty straight forward. Attendance wasn't mandatory but she did count it for some portion of your final grade.

She is the best and most hilarious professor I have ever had at UT!! I took her for the summer course and she made every class fun and engaging, even if it was on zoom. If you have a fear of public speaking and want to get over it, take this class. She helps you get over all those fears, gives great feedback, and truly cares about your success!

Foltz is AMAZING! Even though I only got a B, she was incredible. Class is 4 speeches, 3 quizzes, and weekly homework. I just did crap on the quizzes, but it definitely is an easier class to get an AB/A in. Very light grader on the speeches, and created an amazing environment among the class -- we were all super tight!

Professor Foltz is one of the funniest professors I've ever had. She truly cares about her relationship with students and making sure everyone is heard. She does give work, but it is always informational and never heavy or unnecessary. She gives practical advice about living in Tampa as a new freshman, and how not to get shot in Ybor. Take her!!!!

Absolutely the best professor I have had so far here at UT. This is a 300 level class so she is a bit hard on grading, but her feedback is SO HELPFUL. As long as you listen to the instructions and feedback you'll do perfectly fine. There are four speeches and three papers but even if you don't like public speaking you WILL in this class. 10/10

She is awesome!! I took her for SPE 208 and she really wants us to feel confident public speaking and provides us with the tools to do so. Very respectful, respected, funny, knowledgeable, and entertaining. 11/10.
