i love this prof... she makes the class interesting... the class is not hard at all.. just make a decent ppt practice at home and do it exactly how she asks you to do them and your gonna get an A, make sure you dont pass the time limit or make a quick presentation... overall she is cool and funny... take her :)

Took this class online, great professor! She was very cool about everything and when most of us did bad on the first quiz she helped us and gave us another chance. She also canceled the final. Every week you have to complete a quiz, video quiz and a post. If you read the chapters you'll do fine. Two speeches which are very easy. GREAT CLASS!!

Excellent class! I will definitely recommend her. The only thing you need is follow her instructions and you will do just fine. Took the class half blended and half face to face. It was not stressful a lot!

Good teacher who explains everything you need. If you can follow directions this shouldn't too hard. She likes stuff to be done how she asks and if you don't understand , ask questions! She's easy to talk to and even easier to understand. She's down-to-earth and very open-minded. I enjoyed it.

I took this class online over the summer. The work load was reasonable, 5 discussion posts, 2 video projects, and the textbook chapter exams. The chapter exams had no due date, except they all had to be completed by finals week. No midterm, no final. When you 'like' her Facebook page, she shares interesting posts.

Easy class. 5 Discussion posts that require some thought. If you ony put two minutes into it, she'll give you a grade you deserve. Take your time and get an A. No midterm no final. Two speeches and a project. Should be an easy A. Don't leave chapter exams until the end because those are not hard but are time consuming. Her classes fill fast!

I took this class in the virtual college and it was not that hard. We meet once a week, she gives you the schedule for the whole semester so plan out when you'll do the discussion posts, chapter exams and speeches. There's also a video project that was really fun to do! over all i like her class :)

She is the best teacher. She is very helpful, understanding,etc. She takes the time to read each assignment and is fair with the grades. 5 discussion posts, 14 chapter exams, 2 speeches, and a video project. Love her class and I recommend it 100%. It is not easy but it is understandable and well organized. I got an A and I learned a lot.

Easy. Discussions make sure to put thought into it not just a short paragraph. Follow syllabus for the chapter test so you wont leave it for last. I liked the class. Very fun.

I took the virtual class. Be prepared to meet all the deadlines and to read all the chapters of the book. You will have to take a exam for each chapter and prepare 2 or 3 speeches. If you feel like you can study on your own this class if you you. You will get support from the Professor if you e-mail her, but mostly you need to work on your own.

This teacher knows what she's doing. I had to re- take this class due to an incomprehensible teacher I previously had. However, retaking this class with this teacher was very helpful, insightful, and I learned a great deal of skills useful outside of school and into the real- world. I would definitely rate this teacher as a must have!

Took this class half virtual. Seriously the easiest class ever. You will fall in love with this professor. Very little work to do but i recommend getting started on the chapter tests right away. Do an outline while you read, it helps a lot. If you don't like public speaking just talk to her about it and she will really give you confidence to do it.

I took SPC blended only bc it was a requirement but, I left her class every day feeling like I learned something about LIFE. She's very passionate about what she does and watching her speak makes you admire her. She's clear and concise but she always makes you want to listen. If you have to take SPC1017, pick her!

I took this class as a blended online and once a week in class. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and Professor Rosen-Gonzalez is great. She makes the class feel as a community. We all had the opportunity to get to know each other and she made us feel very comfortable when we had to give our speeches. I definitely recommend to take her class.

Overall it was a nice and fun class. took it for summer blended. attendance is mandatory since you only meet up 6 times. there is alot of work but easily manageable. 10 online test, 4 discussion post, 2 speeches (we did 1) and a happiness project. This class was an "eye opener" for me. Partially online. The assignments was 10 online chapter quizzes, an informative speech, and a final project. Virtual courses require 3X the dedication than reg class. Professor Gonzalez is clear on her syllabus is clear of what is expected The material teaches communication from the inside out. If you read the material,concentrate on your essays and watch all of the Videos she post's you are good to go. Keep an open mind and study. I liked this class!

This was a good class and she is a good teacher. Very clear on the assignments and when they are do. If you do the work you will pass. Those who didn't do well are ones who didn't do the work. Loved this online class! I had no interest in SPC but she made me like it. You have to read a book & watch videos then write discussion posts on it. The exam questions are straight from the book & easy. You have to study for the midterm & have to have read the book. She gives you a heads up on what is in it! Dont be lazy, study and you'll get an A

Only one presentation. Assignments on angel. Class was once a week. The teacher is so much fun. I got a "C" because of not attending on important days and not presenting due to personal issues. She gives you a million and one chances. Awesome professor and truly inspiring assignments.Easy "A" lol. It's harder to get a "C" trust me.

Unfortunately, I failed this course, but it was due to some unforseen events in my personal life. Professor Gonzalez is extremely clear with the calendar and what is due when. She is a very nice teacher and made sure that everyone was informed throughout the course. I will be taking her class again.

Easy. The online course has 10 multiple choice quizzes, 4 discussions, 1 speech and a 21 day happiness project.I received a B was because I didn't study the proper material for the Midterm. The midterm consisted of open ended questions, no multiple choice.Do ALL the work and you will pass, you cannot fail if you make an effort and apply yourself!

I enjoyed Ms. Kristen Rosen Gonzalez' class. She was very helpful, provided videos to guide us through the chapters of the Devito Book, and even spoke to us about our reading assignment. I learned so much in understanding communication between men and women. I would recommend Ms. Rosen Gonzalez to everyone, she is the best.

I can not believe the comments people have the audacity to write. The class is simple and easy but very helpful if you put the effort. You have a lot of in class discussions, and watch educational and inspiring speeches. You only have to do one speech, and a happiness project. This class helped look at life in a new way and am glad I took it.

Took this class online. The quizzes are pretty easy if you read the chapter. the only down side is the professor takes extremely long to grade papers, speeches and she does not reply to emails. Other than that all work is posted from the first day of class so you can get ahead. STUDY what she gives you for the midterm.

Only a research paper, midterm, and a final speech. Attendance is a part of your grade also. Easy A, she is not a tough grader at all. She wants all of her students to interact and pass. She is a great professor, definitely would take her again!

Took for Speech online at MDC. Was easy to stay on top of assignments as everything was spelled out clearly in syllabus. Interesting choices for topics and you choose what interests you. She is helpful and extremely nice. I enjoyed the class. Would take her again.

Wonderful teacher, she will mold you into a better person by the end of the class. All of your classmates will do speeches, and you get to see how everybody is like. It's a beautiful thing. This class is moderately demanding, the teacher has high expectations, so you will work hard on your speeches. Cons, I didn't like her reading assignments.

THE BEST professor I have ever had!! Very motivated into molding her students into wise, productive, and excelling future leaders. Most of her class is her talking and you giving your opinion and interacting. 1 really long research paper on a really interesting book, 1 mid-term (SUPER EASY, just study the review), and 1 final speech of your choice.

she is a great teacher.. sometimes absent.. she assigns a journal every week with a different topic and its due at the end of the semester. there is a final exam, but she gives study guide. there is two speech, and they are a little tough, outside of class, but you have fun and enjoy.

Since this was summer, you submit all your work online, presentation, journals, etc, except for exam. Take her for summer cause is super easy A, if u are shy in presentation. Her classes were never boring, she made her class participate, we would have discussions and we could speak freely. Only 2 speeches. You must go to class, she gives you a grade on that. But besides that, she's great.

Most of the content is on the online textbook with quizes and journals which can be done on your phone on the app without even reading the material beforehand. just show up to class for attendance and turn things in on time.

I took this class online for the spring term. You HAVE to read all the chapters so yes, you need the book (e-book). There are quizzes, discussions, three speeches (to upload) and two outlines. There is no final, just a midterm. If you do everything, you should pass. I didn't do the mid-term but got mostly A's & B's on everything else and passed.

I loved this online class, the coursework was specific and organized along with the instructions. We had to complete our speeches in front of a 5 person audience wherever we liked. Two essays must be written and she is a wonderful grader. Overall, awesome online class. I'd take her again.

She's nice but talks about politics the entire class. We start talking about the concepts and then shes talking about the president. Good prof but talks a lot about politics. As a History Major I don't mind but many will not like it. Point is shes a good teacher and barely gives work. For summer term all she gave us was online hw and a video .

Her class was great! Discussions, quizzes, 3 speeches, 2 outlines, 1 paper, and a midterm. I didn't really use the online book, everything was straight to the point and wasn't difficult at all. The only problem is that she takes a while to respond to questions.

I took this class blended in the fall and even though all she does is talk about politics and she is a mess this class was easy. All the work was online, we met once a week, one speech and one video project. I didnt like her as a person but for class it was okay.

I gave her a four only because she does NOT respond to emails. That was my only issue. I am taking her online and the discussions are really easy. She does not really read your assignments so expect an easy A. She gives a midterm but she does not give a final which is good. So yes I would recommend but she is not very responsive. So far I have an A

She is an amazing professor. DO NOT PLAGIARIIZE GUYS. it is an easy class as long you follow the instructions listed on the syllabus you'll have a fair grade. She responded to my emails within 72 hours. She is a little though grader, she notices every small thing(explanation) on the paper or outline.

Professor Rosen was very organized and graded everything very clearly! Class only consisted of 1 persuasive speech outline and delivery. As long as you read the chapters and pay attention in class youll pass the quizzes!

She gives real life examples of the theory. She doesnt stress the definitions so much but prefers that you understand the why of communication. She expects you to come to class on time, participate, and contribute to class. Only two papers and two tests. Plenty of quizzes that help boost grades. Shes an amazing person.

Professor Kristen Rosen Gonzalez is good in my honest opinion. I have taken the class for SPC1017. The class consist of a 2 speech presentation, essay project, discussions, participation, and quizzes and midterm. No Final. Midterm is proctored but is like 10-15% of the grade. The bulk of the grade is from the work you do. Just put in the work

During this course semester, in all I learned about just how to be more social when I'm around people along with trying to clear up my sentences whenever I'm presenting my speeches up front to anybody in a classroom or a group. The professor always tries to make sure that I'm clear when saying my speeches including specifications as well in all.

In all for this course, I learned about how to present my speeches clearly anywhere I go along with including specifications as well for topics I'm trying to talk about to people in a group. I also learned how to me more social and presentable when I'm in a new group of people I'm trying to get to know in order to better get along with them.

I have taken speech with other professors and she is the best one by far she is understanding , and very straight to the point . There is no room for miscommunication only if you miss her class she wont get back to you but i suggest you take a Clasmate number not difficult at

She's a sweetheart! the only thing is that she doesn't respond to emails, but her class is super easy, 2 speeches, 2 papers, 1 midterm, 17 bookwork assignments(which she gives you time to do and is super easy) + attendance, pretty straight forward with her grading system, she helped me boost my confidence when presenting my speeches, take her!!

She's nice & somehow didn't make class feel like a lecture but more like a conversation. She'd put us in small groups to present a scenario with the topic given and it was very fun and made us all interact more which we all enjoyed. The homework is super easy just go to class and do the work. 2 speeches to present, all easy. Take her class.

I took course 2608 but I can't find it. Her class is pretty straight forward. Attendance is key. Meet your deadlines and the class is easy, she gives honest feedback and showed me how to communicate clearly with a point.

Professor Gonzalez is an excellent instructor. Despite some negative reviews about attendance, my experience was positive. After missing one class for a medical emergency, she was understanding and did not penalize me in any way. Attendance is crucial, but if you show up consistently, you'll do well in her class.
