Dr. Moran is the best math teacher I've ever had. She teaches in a way for everyone to understand and she spends time making sure everyone understands the material. She is hilarious and keeps the class so fun. She is extremely helpful and does good reviews before her tests. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dr Moran is awesome. Though I got a C in the class it's not because of her teaching. I just suck at math. But she got me through this class without me failing. It was fun. She didn't go through the text word for word. She made you remember "invisible 1's" "cheese pizza's" SQUAWK SQUAWK. You could text her questions. She is awesome. Loved her.

By far the best math teacher ever! Dr. Moran is there for you if you need her. She is very patient and cares for her students. I personally find her to be hilarious! Never met anyone who can make math fun! There is a lot of homework and quizzes but they are set up for you to be able to understand. Not done with my class but so far I have an A!

Her lectures are long and I might have fallen asleep through some of them. She tends to repeat things more than one time but she's always there to help you and is hilarious. She understands that things come up and is always there to extend deadlines if you need to. My only tip for this class is to not get lazy with the homework.

Dr. Moran was a very easy going teacher, but made sure all of her students passed her class. If your not so good at math, this would be a great pick, and is very selfless as a teacher. Would take again. Easy Exams, Final is hard however.

She tells so many stories! They are always really fun. She let's class out early occasionally. She is really nice and will help you to understand anything. Not a lot of work either.

Professor Moran is the best math teacher at FSW. I took her for Pre-Calc, and for someone who is bad at math, she made the content seem easy. She teachers in a way that makes concepts easy to understand. She tells funny stories in class and is very clear on what she expects you to know. I would recommend her to anyone.

This is THE best professor I have ever had. Professor Moran is available by text; her homework assignments are online and really help you learn. You can interrupt lectures at any time to ask questions and she will work with you as long as you need in order to understand. She really cares about her students and I would take any class she teaches.

Good professor for those who struggle with math. If you're ok at math, the way she explains it might be a little confusing though.

She is an amazing professor who clearly outlines what we need to know for the test. She cares about her students, and even lets us text her questions about math. I am definitely taking her for pre cal.

I took her for pre-calc in Summer A and she is a solid choice for a math Professor. The only gripe I have with her is that she gave me an 85% for participation even though I was at class every day. So I guess make sure you are asking questions in the middle of class. I learned A LOT from taking this course and was able to walk out with an A.

Professor Moran nailed it Mini Summer A. She is fast paced, but clear and concise. She gives her cell # to contact via text with any questions, any time. Lots of homework, but that is a departmental decision. Loved her sense of humor and enthusiasm!!!

By far the best professor out there. Although the class has lots of homework, there is no teacher at the school that would help you understand the content than Mrs. Moran. Younger teacher, great personality, and determined to help you succeed at math

I would definitely recommend professor Moran!! Shes really good at explaining math in a way where you understand it even if its a problem everyone else finds easy. She never belittles you and shes very patient. Hope I can have her next semester!

I HATE MATH! With that being said, I had to retake college algebra bc I failed her class the first time around. But, she such an awesome professor I retook it with her again! Ive never had a prof. like her before. You can text her whenever you want (even @2am). If you miss a deadline online, shell reopen them all for you with no hesitation.

this professor is amazing for me being older and out of school for a very long time. she helped me to gt my confident along with teach me math. She took the time to explain how and what i needed i couldn't of passed without her .she showed me whats i could understand . I believe i would not made it without her . she made me feel i could do it.

Dr. Moran is one the best professor in my opinion. She is always ready to help when one needs help. She explains very well if you have a hard time understanding she will go over with you if needed. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great professor she is the one.

Honestly dont know why her rating is anything lower than a 5.0 bc she is the best prof ive ever had. You must show up for class in order to pass but her lectures are awesome and she makes them fun. She cracks jokes all the time and is more than willing to help you with anything (even if it isnt school related) she has a huge heart& overall amazing

Dr. Moran is the absolute best professor I have ever had the honor of having a class with. Math is hard for anyone, but even the toughest equations will be less daunting after a lecture with her. The course is tough, but she explains all that you need to know. Put in the effort and youll reap the benefits. (Good students earn grading leniency.)

I have Dr. Moran for college Algebra and at first I did not know what to think. She is the best professor that you can find at FSW. All you have to do is go to class, do all the homework and quizzes till you get to 100 and beofre the test MAKE SURE to do the practice test before the test, It mirrors the test to the T. TAKE HER!!!

I had a bad experience the semester before with the same class just different professor. I really liked her style of teaching and letting us go at our own pace but also reminding us where we needed to be. I took this class and failed with an F. With professor Moran I ended up testing out a few weeks early with a B! Shes great!!

Professor Moran is a great professor who really cares about her students! I think sometimes her lectures were a bit confusing, and I really didn't understand some things but as long as you ask questions and engage you'll be fine! Practice tests are very similar to actual tests. MLP homework assignments, 3 tests (1 online),2 quizzes and final!

Best Professor ever!! She makes math understandable and class fun! Though she doesnt publish grades on canvas. Dont miss class and put time into it.

I did a summer mini A session (4mo6wks) with her & I would absolutely recommend. Show up, take notes & theres no way to fail this class. HW takes 15-20 min/section with unlimited tries, 3 quizzes are unlimited redo (at home) & 3 tests are easy with a practice test that mirrors them. I hate math & I passed with an A because of her. Great prof

Prof Moran is amazing! She teaches you what you need to know and has a different easier approach to everything that helps you understand!! She finds a way to connect everything so simply and makes it realistic! She also is very easy to get ahold of and will go out of her way for her students to make them comfortable!

Dr. Moran is by far the best Math Professor ever! I took 1106 Math for Liberal Arts 1. She's is very knowledgeable, caring, and has an amazing sense of humor. We only had 3 exams and a cumulative final, Mylabsplus HW, and Quizzes. Highly recommend taking her. I am taking her again for College Algebra on spring of 2020. Good luck!

I don't know why there are so many hated comments here, but she is great. She might be going off topics sometimes, but the class is very funny. But it might annoy some people cuz she talks a lot, like, a LOT lol. The only thing I don't like in her class is that attendance is nonmandatory. It's unfair for students who never absent.

I am not a fan of math at all, and sometimes really dont get it but Professor Moran was great at helping you understand it and if you didnt she had no problem further explaining it. She was easily accessible outside of class if you needed help or had a question. First in person math class Ive taken in a while, she made it bearable and passable.

Dr Moran is the best professor ever. If you do what you are supposed to there is no way you can fail her class. I hate math but she makes it so easy to understand using real-life examples. She is caring and accessible out of class.

I loved Dr. Moran! I never understood math or what I was supposed to do (and I honestly still don't) but I understand so much more with her! Go to your lectures! She doesn't really have mandatory attendance but if you are struggling and you don't come to class she doesn't really help. If you come to class she will help you with whatever you need!

Although I do love math it was definitely one of the harder math classes I've taken. I had to work harder than usual but Dr. Moran goes a great job at her work. She had prerecorded lectures that explained the lessons very well. If you need help you can always email, text, or join her during office hours. She is friendly, funny, and caring. 10/10!!!

Professor Moran is a cool educator that cares for her students and their grades. Most of her assignments are through My Labs Plus, and her 4 tests are through Canvas. She not only has reviews for the tests on MLP but on Canvas as well that are extremely helpful in preparing you for the tests. I would definitely recommend taking Professor Moran!

Professor Moran provided enough materials to study for her exams. The videos provided were beneficial in completing the assignments and homework. I would recommend taking her classes.

I never leave reviews on RMP but Dr. Moran such a great prof, I had to make an exception. I'm a DE student and had her for calc and pre calc. She's very understanding if you need extensions. She reviews basics before the topic itself. Practice tests are exactly like exams. She prefers text and responds quickly(even 10PM on a Saturday). 12/10 prof.

She was a fantastic teacher! She was so funny and unique. Usually, I was not too fond of anything to do with shapes, but she taught Trigonometry very well. She is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She prioritizes helping students. 10/10. I would retake any math class with her again.

If I can give a 6/5, I would. She is an amazing teacher! She explains complex concepts in a way that simplifies them and makes them easy to understand. If you have any questions, she does her best to clarify what you are confused about. She is very accessible and very understanding. She is one of the best math teachers I ever had.

The grading scale was changed for those redoing the class after the hurricane, because the homework and all quizzes essentially did not matter. All tests except final had 3 attempts, so it was alright, but she always has changing availability and it was hard to meet to go over mistakes during practice. Super nice, but tests are scary at first

The class was good overall but the final caused me to go from a 91% to a 78%!!!! BEWARE THE CLASS IS SELF-PACED so if you're not good at time management then I do not recommend. The video lectures are optional and I found them helpful (has a great sense of humor) but they are long. I took notes and it was probably the only reason I managed to pass.

Did her best to accommodate her students and was very transparent about what she could and couldn't control. What she could control she tried her best to make work for us and was clear about what she expected from us.

Super nice and always responded to my emails! This professor is very generous, she constantly pushed the due dates on the homework, quizzes, and unit tests to give students a chance to catch up. She literally makes it impossible to fail this class so when you do fail, it's on you. The final exam will make or break you so make sure to study.
