DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!! This is by far the worst online class I have ever taken! It was a mess and very unorganized! It was very time consuming and you will be struggling through the semester. She also takes forever to respond back to your emails. I AM WARNING YOU AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN... DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

Worst professor ever! She gives so many unnecessary assignments and will not give you feedback nor respond to your emails. Very unprofessional. She also needs to understand that we have a life and other classes outside of her class. Do not take this class unless it is your last option because you will be struggling.

I would rate this professor 0/5 if I can, avoid her at any rate. Do NOT, under any circumstances, ever take a course taught by this woman. She is incapable of leading this class. Do NOT waste your time, there is nothing to be learned from Professor Boston.

Professor Boston attempts to be organized, yet the assignments are hard to understand because she writes so much. She does not grade work. The deadlines are not reasonable, being Tuesdays and Fridays and so much work in between (around 8- 17 assignments). I think all the good reviews are fake. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS.

All of the 'awful' reviews are correct here - took this course as a mini-mester and the 1st week of class was posted late, and the 5th week she completely disappeared with no coursework assigned, then came back and hardly offered any extensions to compensate for her being out. The workload assigned doesn't work for a mini-mester term.

She never uploads the modules on time but then expects you to do a mountain of coursework within a short period of time. Sometimes she would upload the assignments as late as the day before they were supposed to be due. She assigns a ridiculous amount of coursework too, most of the time she'd upload a minimum of fifteen assignments. A nightmare.

Day1:No content in course; received email stating she would load content by the evening; her biography appeared. Day2: Morning- syllabus appeared (with NO schedule or list of assignments) Evening: 6 assignments appeared as past due by 2 months (still no list/schedule) Day3: Due date for 6 ass. changed-due by day 4 (still no list) I DROPPED!

Literal psychopath. If busywork became a person. Substitute teacher that just hands packets. She has a useless job. 0/10. Awful is an understatement. Avoid like the plague. Can you tell I learned zero english skills from this person?

Do. Not. Take. This. Professor's. Class. It was a nightmare! I should have listened when I was told to drop this class! Assignments are perpetually late, unclear, and she doesn't give you extra time to make up for her being late! She has a crazy expectation that we can do 26 assignments in 3 days (No, I'm not making that up.) The reviews are right.

This professor is by far the worst of my academic career. Every single review you read here is 100% correct. New module to be completed every 3 days that contains 25-40 assignments. She goes MIA, no updates as to why she had been absent for 8 days. Grades from 5 weeks ago at the start of class are still not put into the grade book.

The workload is unreal. She doesn't keep up to date with grading assignments.She doesn't reply to any emails or grant permission for extensions. Expect anywhere from 20-40 assignments per module,all to be completed within 2-3 days.shes been known to write her own reviews on here. Only read the ones that dont seem like they were written by a teacher

The class was 4 weeks but intense. It would be around 10-15 assignments daily, and they were only available on the day they're due. It was stressful and I wouldn't recommend if you have plans for your Summer. By week 2, she ghosted us and didn't post anything ,yet expected 4 essays and 2 presentations. I would not recommend taking this course.

This teacher was by far the worst I have ever had. On day 1 I had 4 hours of work, this then proceeded to be due at the end of the day. Every single day that repeated until magically halfway through the class she disappeared. I was relieved that the work was done, but I was wrong because she came back with a passion and assigned everything at once.

Professor was the worst I've come by so far. Ghosted the class every so often (~8 days at a time) and one time, came back to revamp the ENTIRE course near the end of the semester. Started assigning new assignments that didn't populate on the checklist, waited until the end to input grades, very hard to reach. Definitely not taking her again.

Anything I have to say has already been said by the poor souls below me. I just wanted to mention that the 5's are all faked by her or someone else that she's paying. They're all posted on the same day, use the same tags, and use the same 1-2 lined remarks about the professor. Do yourself a favor and avoid taking this professor if possible.

This was an 8 week course where the professor did not post any assignments for 3 weeks. Once she posted she posted a ton of work and the most was due that day or the next. She delays grading. The work assigned was not overly difficult but with short deadlines once she decided to assign work again was absolutely ridiculous.

The worst professor I have ever taken. Over 20 assignments given two days before it was due.She ghosted us halfway through the class.We would hear from her every other week about assignments and then nothing was posted. As of now, we have not had an assignment in 5 weeks.She has not graded anything that was not automatic.Does not respond to emails.

Eng 2311 Prof Boston didn't follow her syllabus, we didn't receive a grade or feedback, she posted several announcements, but didn't do what she promised in her announcements, she didn't post any assignments for an entire month, etc. This was the most unethical and unprofessional professor I've ever taken! Contact higher ups at Lone Star about her!

I took Professor Boston's class twice. The first semester, she dropped a bunch of assignments after going MIA for a few weeks. It was an easy A so I took her again. Lo and behold, she vanished after promising to open a new module. I'm sailing easy with less work right now but if you really want to learn anything, I recommend a different class.

This professor was EXTREMELY frustrating. 0/10 She only sometimes answered our emails and for the first two weeks was late posting assignments, giving us 15 tasks on Wednesday that were due Saturday. Then for the last SIX WEEKS she did not give us ANYTHING to do. I tried reaching out but she would always tell us she would post later but never did.

i actually took 2311 and it was so bad. she ghosted halfway through the semester for over a month, doesn't do anything she promises in announcements, syllabus is all wrong, modules are super long. posts stuff super late and expects it to be due like the following day, doesn't grade anything and is just super frustrating.

(2311) This class is a mess, with almost $200 in worthless textbooks. D2L is so clunky and it doesn't help that every single "technical" assignment has a 6 page "instruction" document that makes you work to find out what you even need to do. Really IRONIC for a technical writing class to be so poor at communicating effectively.

DO NOT take this professor if you have a job or you have other responsibilities outside of this. This is a 6 week class and she takes 4 days into the week to post the work that is due Saturday. The expectation that students complete a writing project they are given on Thursday and due on Saturday is crazy. Consistently inconsistent communication.

I'm dumbfounded that she is an actual professor, much less employed. The syllabus was not followed at ALL. Her communication was nearly non-existent. The assignments were erratic and inconsistent, and the workload was sporadic and confusing. Don't believe a word the fake positive reviews say. By far the most unprofessional educator i've ever seen.

The teacher ghosted every week for 3 weeks at a time, then afterwards she would make projects due the next day. We were supposed to have 4 projects but, she was gone so much we barely had one. She's an easy grader but gives no feedback and does not answer emails ever. The course is easy but if you need help good luck, she will not help.

Extremely disorganized class. The professor repeatedly said assignments would be posted, but never followed through, which made the course stressful. No lectures, readings, or work were posted until the final week, and the syllabus was not followed. Communication was minimal. Easy A, but I learned nothing and would not recommend.

Extremely difficult to get a hold of. Does not respond to any messages.
