She is a very great teacher very clear on what she teaches. She usually will take test kinda late but urges you not to do that so that you wont' get behind.

This teacher is excellent. Some of the material is tough...but it's math...go figure. Willing to help whenever you need it. Highly recommend her, especially if you aren't good at math!

I took her for Calc II so the class wasn't exactly easy but she is a great teacher and goes slow enough so that everyone understands. Your grade is entirely based on tests but if you don't do the homework, you're just asking to fail.

Ms. Johnson is an excellent teacher. Math is not an easy subject to me. She was recommended to me by a former student. She is very helpful and very sweet. Work is done on my math lab so textbook is not necessary but can be used as well.

Mrs. Johnson is a great teacher! She is very helpful with any questions you have, and she gives fairly thorough notes. in MATH-1314, she dropped our lowest test grade and only kept 10 of our homework grades, dropped the others (lowest first). The final was easy and only consisted of 25 questions, all of which were covered during class.

She was awesome! Took her as my first professor on campus. I highly recommend her. Shes funny and nice and very helpful. I always almost failed or failed algebra but she made it easy to learn.

She's awesome. Knows her stuff and creates relatable analogies. I've always had a hard time with math, but she explains it very well. Just make sure you attend class! That's really the key to success in this class. She doesn't use the book but there are a lot of examples she pulls from there. MyMathLab IS USED, but she takes out the dumb ?'s.

I took Mrs. Johnson for pre-algeba, beginning and college algebra and I could not have made it without her clear to the point teaching style. If you strugg with math - she will make you understand in the most basic way possible. She absolutely rocks! And does not treat you lke you are unintelligent just because math may be hard for you.

Honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had. She goes at the perfect pace so that no one gets behind. Makes sure everyone understands, and if you don't she always stays after class to make sure you get it. Definitely wants you to succeed and you have no reason to get anything other than a high B, at the very least.

Please take her if you're struggling in math. She explains so well. 5 exams(lowest 1 dropped) and 14 homework assignments (lowest 3 dropped). She gives extra credit (3 points) on each exam if you do the exam review questions in class and submit your 3 favorite ones which helps a lot. Mymathlab is a plus.

Miss Johnson is great. I am strong in math, but she is VERY helpfulflexible and bases her class off of people who are not. (Not complaining) She drops 1 of her 4 tests, final is multiple choice, and she also drops 3-4 MyMathLab homework assignments. Definitely deserves her 5.0 rating!

Professor Johnson is amazing. I have never liked algebra have dropped it twice before this, and she made it so easy and understandable. I got a high A in the class with her help. She gives practice tests, and really cares about her students. Homework is easy, tests are easy if you study. Go to class, show up on review day for x-credit!

She also takes time out of her own schedule to have math workshops each week if you don't understand the lesson then show up! I HATE math, but Mrs. Johnson made it very easy to understand! I failed algebra twice in high school, but she made the material so easy, I passed with flying colors and actually understood it all! Love her! She teaches at a pace that is manageable and will help you with whatever you need. Definitely taking her for trig next semester. GREAT teacher!

We used ALEKS in this class, so it was less lecture and more computer work. But if you needed help with anything (Besides tests and quizzes) she would help you. She would stay by you until you understood what you were doing, and she helped me pass Math, which is my worst course. The math isn't always easy but she certainly helps explain it.

Johnson's algebra class was pretty easy. Make sure you show up and do the homework, it's an A. She explains things clearly and makes it understandable.

I had no problemS with Professor Johnson, she is a very sweet lady. I just had problems with the class. You have to purchase a 90-95 dollar code for a program called ALEKS. It's a very time consuming class because you have to reach a certain deadline at the end of each week to get a grade. It's not a lecture class at all, just a lot of work.

I can not wait until the course ends to tell you How Awesome She is. Professor Johnson , give a review before the exams , won't trick you at all, gives her notes on Bb, and give extra credits when reviewing the exams and provide the solutions for the review. Kristie Johnson is a fantastic professor who shows genuine interest in her students and will do everything she can to help them. Her lectures are very clear--she works out the topics on paper, and I think that works to help the students follow along. All her lecture notes are online, but it's best to learn in class.

Dr. Johnson is one of the best cal teachers at tcc. Her lectures are clear and easy to follow. If you have questions she walks you through the problem to make sure you understand it. She cares a lot about her students. Try not to skip her class, since during lectures is where you can learn the most and that will help you during test.

This professor is very organized, her notes are clear and easy to understand. She takes the time to make sure the whole class is on the same page and offers help outside of class. Most of the work is lectures and Mymathlab. We did not use the book. I highly recommend taking her, especially if your horrible in math like I am.

I really loved professor Kristie. I will take her for every math if I could. She makes sure you learn WHAT MATTERS. you need to memorize some stuff but if you do, believe me is because you need it. Mrs. Johnson is one the best Math Instructors on campus. She explains everything very well, even the more complicated things. You do have quite a bit of homework but they are pretty easy once you know it. If you struggle I recommend taking her corec class. 100% take this instructor if shes available.

The best of the best math instructors on North West campus. If you have a chance to take her, don't ever hesitate. You'll learn a lot from her lectures and if you miss a class, the notes are always uploaded and available to access on the blackboard. BTW, her notes are extremely organized and easy to understand.

Best professor ever! She makes calculus 2 (known by many as the most difficult calculus) easy. If you show up for class, listen to the lecture, take notes, and then do the homework before you forget everything (: , you'll do great and barely need to study for the test. I have an A+ and I study less than half an hour for each test.

Took her class 2020Fall. Weekly homework all due on Monday/Tuesday of the next week (depends on what day you have her). Provides lecture, but it is not mandatory. There are also videos provided that show more examples of the topic. There are 4 exams and a final. She does not drop exams, but does drop some homework.

5 tests total. No drops. HW 20%. The lecture is very bad. NITES ARE AWESOME. Pls, finish the HW to do well. No extra credit at all. CLAC 3 is fairly easy that why I had a B. Listen to the lecture for the easiest techniques to solve math. Remember, u don't need to understand math u pass it. Physics is what you need to understand.

Kristie Johnson is easily one of the best Calculus professors I've ever had. Her entire course even though online was completely comprehensible and this is speaking from a student who struggled with math for a long time. She has notes she made herself ready to go and the homework definitely helps, put in the work and show up to lecture.

I love this Professor a lot . She is a gem please take her and you would not regret it. I loved Calculus 2 because of the way she teaches it . Tests are not difficult , drops the lowest test grade and few homework grades. BEST CHOICE !!

Professor Johnson is super friendly and nice. Her class is easy -- HW and test problems are not complicated, she lets you use a formula sheet for tests and you get lots of attempts on HW. I felt like I didn't really understand the concepts of what I was learning though, only the formulas.

By far the best math teacher i've ever had! She teaches so well and her methods are SO easy to pick up on. I love that she BARELY uses a calculator. most if not all material you can learn and do it in your head. Tests and homework are very easy to keep up with. I'd take this class a million times over.

So kind, i struggle with math deeply this was a retake for me with a new professor. she knows what she's talking about and the end of class is for questions. She gives great reviews and 3 points extra credit for answering 3 of the review questions. Drops your lowest test score. Can't stress how kind she is, make sure to ask for help if you need it!
