I came across the other reviews and was shocked. This does not sound like the professor I had. Professor Hagan was the first NOVA professor I have ever had who gave feedback on discussion posts. Every time I emailed her she replied right away. The professor seemed to truly care about the students - she sent us a note at the end of the semester.

This was my first online class and I have to say it wasn't that bad and I'm happy that it was with Hagan. This might be a dealbreaker to some of you but the class had a lot of quizzes to complete and a handful of tests, there was also a research paper that was worth 28% of your grade. Thankfully Hagan is pretty nice, she gives a lot of extra credit

Professor Hagan is so kind and just grades discussion boards and exams. I would recommend this professor because for an online class there is barely any hw , some class group activities but she shows videos in her Powerpoint and can teach the subject good! Exams are fairly easy too! Don't understand why she has a low rating??

The syllabus is clear and direct. The coursework is light, and a reasonable time frame is given to complete it. Professor Hagan communicates within a professional amount of time and gives great feedback on assignments to help ensure you get the best grade possible if you are proactive and don't wait until the last minute.

Professor Hagan provided us with very clear grading criteria, graded in a timely manner, and gave specific comments that matched each criteria. There were lots of things to read. Textbook was a free version online, which was another bonus for taking this course. Questions for the two final tests were similar to the weekly quizzes.

I took the 15-week online Introduction to International Business (BUS 280) course and loved it! Weekly assignments alternate between 3 chapter quizzes, a unit (8 units total), a discussion, and/or journal. Both midterm/final are on Respondus Lockdown. Lots of EC opportunities. Time management is key; its a lot of material to cover but it is doable.

I love prof. Hagan. This was my first marketing class, so I really went in with no knowledge of marketing at all. She explained everything so well, and I felt like I could really excel in her class. I now love marketing and have taken a deep dive into seeing if I can work in this field. She was a great professor.

Online textbook. Some assignments require hours of work and research. Did not require camera to be on. Did provide extra credit. Group projects could be better. She wants people to report others for not doing work, personally I don't like going out of my way to snitch on others. Think there should be another system to hold people accountable.

Pretty easy overall. 2 proctored exams and 1 research paper. Homework plus quiz once a week. Straight forward class and straight forward material. Prof. Hagan is kind, but class often ends late due to time management issues. Her presentations are helpful for exams. 3 timed exams need Lockdown Browser+webcam, 50 multiple-choice questions. There are few assignments at first, but more are given as midterms approach. HW due Sunday night, extended to 8 am Monday, no late submissions.

She provides feedback on each assignment graded, which is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend taking her if you are taking an online course! She is very organized, and the course is easy to follow!

This class was online and was taught through textbook readings online and free. She also provides videos that help expand on chapter readings. Any questions you have she will usually answer within 24 hours. When it's time for exams, she reopens quizzes to help study, which is very beneficial, because you will see the same questions on the exam.

Hands down the best professor I have had. 15 week Marketing 201 this semester and I have not ran into any issues or concerns with this teacher. This class is very spread out and manageable, all of the exams are based off the quizzes, gives extra try's before the exams as a way of studying. If I could I would take her again in the future.

Professor Hagan is very sweet! She allows open note quizzes, which can be taken twice if need be. Her assignments are fair; I never found myself overwhelmed with the amount of work needed for this class. I would, without a doubt, recommend her for MKT 201!

This is my first time with this professor and she is easily one of my favorites. It's really hard to fail in her class unless you're just not showing up to class or not doing work. Everything is straight forward and the resources are right there. Do your work on time, go to class and you will pass! :D

I had Professor Hagan for an online class (MKT 201). The class was pretty straightforward, she always graded in a timely manner and left feedback on assignments. She does not accept late work whatsoever, you must submit your assignments on time for a grade.

I have Professor Hagan for Fall 2024 semester. She is very kind and communicative. There isn't a lot of assignments but you have to put in the work for each assignments. She also grade pretty easy in my opinion.

You are expected to read the textbook that is provided by the Professor but she also provides videos and other sources that are very helpful in finishing your assignments. She does have 2 exams and a 5 page final paper that are worth a bunch of points so keep that in mind. Very interactive and enjoyable assignments. Great class overall.

Given that I took her virtual class I couldn't say much about her teaching methods outside of what assignments I was given and most of the heavy stuff was the tests and quizzes. STUDY FOR EXAMS THEY ARE A LOT OF QUESTIONS

This is the second class I've taken with her. She's clear and communicates exactly what she expects from you and what you should expect from her. If you follow all instructions and complete the assignments, you'll really learn the subject. Her grading is fair.

The professor was well organized and knowledgeable, with a clear and straightforward teaching style. She explained complex topics in a way that was easy to understand and used world examples to make the topics more relatable.

The class is very straight forward just keep up with discussions and quizzes and you should be fine.

I really liked her as a professor. She was very fair and manageable. I will say taking this course as an elective it is still pretty demanding but that is coming from a mom who works full time. I think it would be much easier if I had more time to study. Nonetheless, great teacher. Not too much work but enough to learn the important concepts.

I took this course online and would definitely recommend. Modules include reading chapter with a 15 question quiz after (its open note). There are a few writing assignments but as long as you follow the rubric you'll be fine. The midterm and final were both made up of questions used on the quizzes.

Her instructions were always clear and easy to follow, making the material easy to understand. The homework was manageable and not overly difficult. Overall, a great professor who made the learning experience smooth and enjoyable!

I took her summer 7-week Zoom class. Professor Hagan's teaching style is lecture and group project-based. Great a explaining terms and giving examples, it was easy to follow along and understand the terms. Such a kind and caring professor. HIGHLY recommend, provides study guides for two exams. Great Professor! I have taken her classes twice now and Professor Hagan is very kind and fair in the work and grades given. She always provides a detailed grading rubric. However, the material covered on the exam was unexpected and it was tricky. It would be nice to have a study guide, or weekly quizzes ,in order to be better prepared.
