Lots of work. Grades are calculated thru percentages (a total of 100%), which in my opinion is what makes it harder to keep a high grade. Although I pulled off an A, I put in lots of work reading 70 to 80-pg chapters (ch8 is over 100 pgs). Balancing 3 other classes + this one wasn't easy, so if you have the time to put in the work, take her.

Took her class in the last semester. It was not hard but you have to read. As like me, I did not read the book and just prepare the exam relied on her study guide (given prior to each exam), I did well. But for the last exam I was not well prepare and I end up getting 88%. You are recommended to read the book to secure your A.

Easy A for a history requirement! This class was very easy and as long as you complete everything on time you'll be fine. There are weekly quizzes, some discussion posts and a few short essays but nothing too bad. I didn't even have to read the textbook much and could answer most questions based off common knowledge. I 100% recommend!

No issues until the final. The professor didn't use Exam Guard at all until the final. I had technical issues forcing me to submit the final before I finished. It was documented by tech support but the professor tells me i cant retake, against school policy. I had to contact the dept. chair. Instead of supporting me she treated me like a criminal.

Professor Mihaylovich is a great teacher. I took her online class on my first semester and I like it very much. She replies your email in less than 24 hours. Her organization about the lecture is crystal clear. What i love about her class is the virtual field trip and the real trip to the museum. Recommended teacher for Art History 72!! :)

I took this class online, and I'm a bit conflicted about the class. The assignments were few and easy, but the midterm/final featured many, many questions that were covered in neither the online lectures/slideshows or in the textbook. It's hard to pass the tests if you never learned the material being tested!

If you want an A read the syllabus and do the work, it consists of discussions (the majority of the weeks) and a reading quiz every week. Midterm and Final aren't hard if you read the textbook and the lectures. Theirs a virtual field trip and extra credit opportunities. A page essay or 2 page essay for extra credit. Would recommend!

Very nice prof. Easy A but you need to show up to class. It's college so attendance isn't mandatory but do yourself a favor & just take notes on what she lectures. She gives a review of the test so you never even need to crack open the book. I didn't & I got an A. It feels like a lot because she covers a lot but the test won't be on everything.

First of all, she does NOT teach. She makes ppts with 12-15 slides worth of "info" and half of them are just pictures with no description whatsoever. She assigns a ton of reading, 60% of it isn't even relevant to to exams/quizes. And what I find really appalling is that her tests are extremely difficult/timed that includes a full on essay.

Each week has reading out of the textbook, with slides of information she wants you to focus on. You then are given two discussion questions to answer, and/or a quiz with unlimited retakes. Two weeks included an online field trip, with a one page paper to go with it. One museum critique is assigned. Midterm and final are based on her review images.

I've taken her for Art History 3 (in class) and 72 (online)and I have to say that I learned a great deal from both classes. The only thing I didn't enjoy about her class was the second group project I felt it took my focus off of other more valuable assignments. Don't listen to the haters, she's a great professor and I highly recommend her.

She's an okay professor. She cares about her students and whether or not they take something from the class which is cool, but I dislike how she assigns work; she's pretty unorganized. Also for group projects, you're group members are assigned to you, so you might get paired up with people who could care less about their future (beware).

She is an uninspiring professor. Her slides are okay for some lectures, but not all, which is why I would recommend getting a book (to look things up). It's an easy A if that is your point. As a professor she's crappy, at best, gives zero feedback and is unclear in what she is looking for. If a good grade is your only objective then take her.

Professor Mihaylovich was great. I took a full online/flex course, and she was very clear with instructions. Usually a discussion post and a couple paragraphs. I am not an art person, but took the class for credit, and actually found it quite interesting due to the way she spoke in her lecture videos which were around 15-20 min. Fall 2020.
