If you ever have the opportunity to take Krystan's class, by all means, DO! This was one of the funnest classes that I have ever taken.

She is an awesome teacher!! She does tend to have an attitude tho. It basically just makes us crack up laughing though. Literally, If you show up everyday there is NO way you can fail. The day before the test she takes the actual test and quizes us with the test using the EXACT questions. If you pay attenion you can get almost all of the test right then. She is very clear and if you arent following you raise your hand and she wont go on until you understand it.

Kristen is a great teacher, very funny, good sense of humor. Although she is good, her tests sway alittle from what the notes are in class. You have to read ALL the material in order to do well in her class. Many students had a hard time understanding the tests. If you are smart you can pass her class.Overall though she is a good teacher.

Kris was a great teacher, open minded and really smart. She is very pleasent and makes the class a lot of fun, she has a great sense of humor. Her class is really great, you do need to study and pay attention, but it is well worth it to take her class. I recommend her very highly. She's GREAT!

Dr. Roush is a wonderful professor!!! She communicates well. She uses real life senerios to get the clas involved w/ the lecture. She is a creative person who does fabulous woodwork in her spare time. She is a gift to CNM.

Dr. Roush is an excellent teacher. She really knows what she is teaching, and on top of that she has an excellent sence of humor. Her class is intresting. I enjoyed taking her Psychology class, it was alot of fun. I would defiantly take her for any other class she offered.

Kris is an awesome teacher with a great sense of humor. She made this class fun! All the material she went over in class was exactly what was on the tests. I would highly reccomend her for PSY 105. I never used my book (shouldn't have even bought it) and easily passed the class.

You actually learn from Dr. Roush. She explains everything in real life experiences and you are able to relate a lot of stuff to your oen life. You don't need the textbook if you go to EVERY class. If you really want to learn, take her.

She's a great teacher. Her test are a bit odd. Its not about memorizing the definition of the word but being able to apply it. I had her for summer so every other meeting we had a test.

Kris is just wonderful! She lectures the whole time but she keeps your interest in psychology alive.Everything she goes over will be on the quizzes and you do need to attend class.She gives two major Hmwrk assignments and she is specific on her deadlines and you are required to meet them ;-)Take Kristin's class she is just phenomenal!

Ms. Roush was an awesome psych teacher! I took her class fall '09, late review, and I really liked it. I was fully engaged in each class discussion, she relates psych concepts to the real world. Her discussions stem from terms out of the text in a convenient study guide. She is a really cool teacher and she got me psyched about psych!

This class is very fun and easy. She does not assign homework, there is one project (which seems if you do it you get full credit) and 8 tests. She gives you study guides for the tests and they are very detailed. She teaches only from experience and knows here material. This is a VERY EASY class with a GREAT teacher.

Kris is an outstanding professor - she teaches from her wealth of experience and makes the material easy to grasp (even fun) without watering it down. Coursework is extremely easy: short multiple-choice tests most weeks; very few written assignments. I would wish for a greater academic challenge from her, but would still take the class again.

Kris is the best ever! She is hilarious and the nicest lady in the world. She goes over the chapters selected in great detail. You have a test after every chapter you cover, but if you attend class or read the book you'll be ok.

She is by far my favorite teacher from my college experience so far. I took her summer PSY 1105 8 Week class for the 2013 Summer semester and enjoyed every class. She is very understanding and was a pleasure to have as a teacher. She's very clear on what is needed/necessary for the class and gave a packet review for all of the tests. A+ rating.

This was by far my favorite class in my fall 2013 semester! Shes's funny and makes lectures very interesting. She provides a handout with everything on each test and goes over them in her lectures. By far Kris is one of my favorite instructors. She is straight forward, funny and down to earth. She doesn't require a text book, or can use an older version, and she gives a packet on the first day of class which she goes over and there are no surprises as far as the test go. All tests are multiple choice. :)

I absolutely loved this class it was one of my favorites this semester. I would recommend this course this course to anyone especially if it's just a prerequisite since it's really simple work I rarely ever studied for it since the lectures were usually enough. Best Psychology teacher ever. First time I took her I was late to class my first day, I can't recall exactly what she said but I remember after learning more about psychology I realized she used it on my the first time I meet her. She knows what she knows and she uses examples within her examples. Very bright lady! TAKE HER CLASSES!

She's a great instructor; very helpful and insightful. The course was not difficult, but she weighs attendence heavily. I received a B in the class because I missed 2 days. I had A's on all of the assignmentsexams except for one. Would recommend, though.

Kris made lectures fun to learn and related topics to personal life so remembering them was easier. At the beginning of the course she hands out a study guide of all the chapters and all the material that will be on the test so you know exactly what to study!

Loved Dr. Roush and her lectures. I had taken psych before, however she really made the material come to life more than ever before. Attending lectures was always enjoyable and I never found any of the material to be daunting. Definitely one of the best teachers at CNM!

Exams very easy, work in groups, outlines pages in text. Very boring, felt I learned almost nothing. She doesn't put in much work in the class, mostly videos, guest speakers. Grading system is ridiculous, penalized severely for missing class, points taken off for each class missed, even if 1 is missed, don't take if you actually care about learning

I absolutely love Professor Roush! I have taken two of her classes at CNM. She is an instructor who makes students want to come to class because her lectures are always interesting, entertaining and informative. She attempts to empower students by imparting applicable knowledge/experience, this is especially true in her Death and Dying section.

She is also very flexible with you by giving you ways to bring your grade up if its not too high. If you could take any of her classes, in would highly recommend it.

Terrific fun class, take notes from book, fill in study guides, easy class. Good lectures, goes over study guides with class before each test. Study guides cover test material. Test on each chapter, easy if you did the guide. One page reaction papers. Do not skip class or be late. I will take her again for any class. Answers emails quickly.

Amazing teacher only took class because I needed it for vet tech. Ended up really enjoying the class. I would decently take another phycology class if she taught it.

Class requirements are clearly defined in a syllabus and calendar. We are told exactly what to expect. She wants us to learn, wants us to succeed. Funny, obviously well educated, great lectures, mellow. Very enjoyable as a teacher and also the class. She makes you want to learn.

Heavily lectured based but lectures are interesting and funny; on the plus side you dont need any outside materials to pass the class. Class is based around quizzes/tests so you have to do light studying to pass. My only complaints are that shes strict on little things (attendance/talking/earphones) and she doesnt put any updates/grades online.

Kris explains everything in a semantic way. That way you truly understand the material before your test. She keeps the mood light by cracking occasional jokes. I loved this class more than any other class I have ever taken.
