Best teacher i've had at De Anza, very passionate about her topic of study, extremely energetic and very much into the class. Cares very much about students and never hesitates to go out of her way to help them.

she teaches not to pick up her pay check, but to actually inform people about the world, and where we live. her projects and journals are fun. a lot of drawing. HWs are kinda annoying but she is still the best class in DAC

The best teacher i every had, teaches well. Teaches ways to organize time and learning tequniques. Most of her students recieve A or B, you must try hard to gte a lower grade then a B. Excellent teacher.

Awesome class, its like a quaranteed A or B! Need to try to get a grade below A or B. She is so energic and hyper! If you are having a bad day, she cheers you up! BTW this class is interesting! She KNOWS everones name after first day!

This class was one of the easiest classes that i ever took at De Anza. She's real hyper which was weird at first but she's always energized and it gives the classroom a better vibe. She knows everyones name by the end of the first week and work is easy.

Very structured class. The work load is medium but is very interesting. Kristin keeps the class rolling. She's very hyper but you will learn from the woman. I'd recommend her class for the eager college student.

she screams/hollars/sings/dances alot. unappropriate for a teacher. childish. her jokes suck. if you take her be prepared to take the most notes in your life. EVERYDAY. she takes roll. labs were ok but alot of writing. field trips were inconvenient. BOOOO

INSANE! She looks exactly like the female version of Martin Short! Hyper, dances, pitifully funny and just funny at the same time. Field trips are inconvenient, so much busy work and group work, but overall is such an easy class. Don't worry.

She teaches well and well organize. She always form a study group before the exam in order to help you and if u attend you'll have a great benefits of it. Her house awesome and her class full of interesting and entertain. Easy "A".

Her personality is just as addictive as the subject. I haven't seen anyone ever so into tehj enviornment, and her attitude rubbs off on you a little. I'd reccomend to anyone who wants a different perspective on good ol' mother Earth

Totally cool teacher, so kind, energetic and helpful. You should study and you will get an A. Fieldtrips were fun, learned so much.

She genuinely cares about her students and loves the fact that she is educating people about our environment. Her intentions are so pure that it inspires you. Her test are a breeze and though there are lots of notes, she gives lots of points for them!

Finally a college teacher who not only cares about teaching, but also about teaching her students how to learn. She can be wacky, but she is trying to get her students to understand the subject! I will be taking more classes from her.

ms. sullivan is awsome. she's fun, entertaining, and a great teacher...a hard combo to find at any college!!! i reccomend her to anyone who wants the quarter to fly by and who wants to learn a lot.

Has too much energy for her own good! =) A really nice woman that encourages you greatly. Some tests were easy and some weren't. You have to do a group powerpoint presentation, so don't make it boring! This is not a class to take if you are not interested in the field.

If you're looking for a teacher who is fun, enthusiastic, and really cares about your success as a student, take Sullivan. She's very clear, organized and is ALWAYS available to help. I don't recommend her classes for slackers - you'll get left in the dust! She's really outstanding.

OMG I love Kristin. She is the greatest teacher I have ever had. Learned so much. Didn't even seem like I was in class. Interesting/fun labs and field trips. She has a lot of enery you have been warned. Take this class you wont regret it. Nothing but fun times.

Class has a lot of work, 4 hw assignments that were easy, 1-2 oral, 1 4-5 page paper, maintaining a journal due twice. and a load of classwork, plus she's crazy. Relatively easy to get an A, however she is vague and unclear in some assignments, lots of extra credit opportunities up to 20 pts

has way too much energy...dude!she on crack!!!...(jk)but really shes pretty good , class has lots of work and feild trips, be prepared for a little work, organisation is key!

This is the one class that has affected my life positiviely that I've taken at De Anza. You'll be amazed at the things you learn, and it'll change the way you see the world. She is a fantastic teacher, who really takes the time to show each student she cares. She learns everyone's name after the third class! Definite must take at De Anza.

She is sooo crazy! But, funny crazy! The only thing you really need to stay on top of is your journal, that thing is worth so many points. The fieldtrips are pretty fun. She is really interesting and hillarious! She def. will keep you awake in class! Easy A!

She is a fantastic teacher. It was my first quarter and i took her class as a GE class. I wasn't interested in environmental studies but her passion and love for nature made me realise the true worth of the environment. She is a cool teacher and is always ready to sit down and listen to individual student problems and guide them through the class!!

She was the fun teacher, REALLY funny. I suggest this class to anyone who needs an easy A but overall she is FUNNY and fun REALLY loves nature for sure

Awesome teacher. Very enthusiatic and a great leader. You are expected to take a lot of notes but believe me they will help you. Failry easy teacher if you do your work.

She's fun and full of energy. She teaches with passion and really cares for her students. The class can be really rough, though, if you have difficult with group work. Lots of field trips - can be fun, but also not always easy for all different types of people. Many immature students make it annoying. She ends class late a lot.

I love this class, Kristin was very helpful. There are a lot of homework, but if you're not lazy you'll be fine. Class is very interesting, she's very energetic. The exams are not hard either, she let you work with a partner.

Shes such a passionate teacher!!! Class is long but goes by quickly because you are doing so much! Very hands on learning class, its not a read from textbook & memorize things kind of class. If you miss a class but go by her office she will get you caught up on EVERYTHING! never had a college prof. that did that for me! definetly recommed her!

She was extremely enthusiastic, which is wonderful. She teaches us about eco-consciousness, which is imperative. I just didn't like her low expectations. Also, the labs were useless considering the amount of time it takes to get there.

This teacher is def. one of the best teachers I've ever had. She teaches with enthusiasm and is very energetic. Very kind to her students, just don't talk while anyone else is talking. Wow...is all I can say about Kristen! haha, I've never seen a woman with so much energy! She tries to make people enthusiastic about Environmental issues. It actually was interesting to learn about and I would definitely recommend her. She's really easy and nice. You either do the work or you don't in order to get an A. she excepts late work too!

I took Mrs. Sullivan for envs 1 and 2, she is so wonderful! She is so creative and silly, and she really engages the class and makes the class much more fun and interesting. She is so high energy that it is impossible to be bored. Tests are not too hard and homework is pretty simple and there isn't too much of it. All around great teacher!

Kristen Jensen Sullivan is an amazing, inspirational, motivational, and enthusiastically entertaining professor. Her assignmnets are fun and eye opening. Touring her "straw home", going on field trips to Gaza's Creek, and participating in fun class activities are just some of the memorable experiences I have taken with me. I highly recommend her!!!

High energy is the only way to describe Kristin. She's passionate about the environment and is eager to share her knowledge. Not your typical lecture class ... lots of group discussions and projects, field trips, etc. Very informative class and she's a super nice lady to boot!

We had a lot of fun on this trip. Kristin is a sweetie and full of positivity (and energy!). Be prepared though for several very strenuous hikes every single day. Felt more like a hiking class than science. Journals, final powerpoint report, and attendance are required. Only complaint: wish we could have learned more about species & field methods.

She's great. Class is fun with Sullivan. It's just a lot of work to do well on your journal, so heads up on that if you want an A. This woman has inspired me.

Kristin has complete in-depth knowledge when it comes to teaching all about the environment. The fun part of the class are field trips (w/ carpool) and extra credit work. Took her class eight years ago (and still have one of her handouts!). Recycling and the environment will always be #1!

Ms. Sullivan is an Easy A, IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DO THE WORK. I REPEAT...WILLING TO DO THE WORK. Homeworks are 4 pages long of answering questions 25 pts each. And you can't just "wing" the tests, you have to understand the material. CLASS IS MANDATORY! she takes attendance! and LABS take a lot of time too! if youre willing to work youll get an A!!

Kristin is a SHINING BEACON! She is 1 of the best professors at this school (thank god for John Swapceinsk). Professor Sullivan always has a spring to her step & a kind smile for everyone. She has an exuberantly beautiful soul. There I said it. Cheesy, but you will agree with me, no doubt. Take a class- it will change your life. I guarantee it.

What to say about Kristin Sullivan... she's very energetic. VERY energetic. She's a good teacher, the class is fairly interesting, and she is willing to work with students if there are issues. The only really bad thing is the off-key singing at the end of class. Some people liked it. I didn't.

She's one extremely uplifting, positive, and energetic teacher. Far more than any prof/instructor i've ever met in my LIFE. There is work here and there, very easy. only difficult part in class is the presentations which you need to know thoroughly.

SUPER EASY A. The class is sort of dumbed-down, but you do learn. Shes energetic,and crazy. She will randomly do somersaults and hand stands and will sing LOUDLY, but shes cool! She really LOVES the environment, so its really cool the things you learn from her eating habits and hybrid car :P

This class has changed me. For the better! I know more about nature, the native people and plants, as well myself. I was lucky to take this class and will take it's lesson with me always!

Yes she is nice, yes she is energetic. But she doesn't really like class discussion. She would rather just have the show. The work is really easy and really unorganized. She can also be extremely pushy about her beliefs.

If you need this class, take her! It was the easiest class and the topics are really interesting. There is no midterm, 3 field trips and a really easy final. She makes the class fun and actually is clear about what she expects. Take this class!

TAKE HER CLASS. Any of them, and I guarantee you will pass. I just took her for ESCI 1, skipped 6 classes, and still passed with an A. She's lenient with late work and doesn't believe in test. There are 2 midterms, they are both group projects, and a final. Which is also a group project. Btw, I hate this subject and she made it bearable.

Group projects galore! Kristin does not believe in standardized testing (Amen!) She LOVES life! Shares so many pics & stories of her life & her travels, truly makes you want to follow in her foot steps. She makes it easy to understand how to be eco-friendly, does cartwheels in class, and offers some amazing extra credit (yoga, documentaries, etc)

I LOVE her class and herself!!! Such a powerful, nice and lovery teacher and DEFINITELY cares about her students. Even her extra credits are cool. She taught us yoga for the extra credit and we had so much fun. Take her everyone!

BEST TACHER EVER!! She sings, dances and even does cartwheels in class!!! NO HOMEWORK, NO TESTS!!! Just write the class notes and stay organized and you're good. A few group presentations that are fairly easy. Final is a group presentation and a small essay. LOVE HER!!! MUST TAKE!!

A teacher that is actually passionate about what she teaches. She's super exciting and wants to inspire her students. She knows her stuff, to say the least. Expect group presentations, but they're really easy if you prepare. Take her even if you don't like Esci, cuz she's super good at teaching

I don't know where she gets all that passion and energy but it is very transferable. Its not just her, but the entire ES department. I majored in this department yrs back. I bounced back & forth from the ES/Biology buildings. The rest of the Biology department on the other side of campus could learn quite a few things from this department.

This class was so easy and Kristin Sullivan is so great! No tests or quizzes, mainly group work! Homework is super easy. Kristin changes your view on the environment and makes you want to get out there and make a change. She makes class fun and sings and dances! Super fun class!

She's truly inspiring and I love her bright personality. I personally admire her positivity and passionate work for the environment; she is extremely knowledgable. There are a total of three field trips, a few presentations in class, and a bunch of group projects which are feasible to manage with. I would strongly recommend her because she's easy!!

Kristin Sullivan is fantastic! You have 3 main projects throughout the quarter and you turn in your notes towards the end of the quarter. All of them are easy so long as you prepare and try! She's super enthusiastic and is incredibly entertaining and informative. Take her class!!

Really nice woman and an inspiration in the community of environmental work but grades 1 unit classes as if they were 5. She needed to explain things clearer. Love her energy though!
