She is so nice! She explains topics very well which makes a hard chapter really understandable! And she's not boring at all! The class I have with her is from 8Am-11Am and not once did I doze off! The midterm is fair.. too fair, in fact! A lot of the questions came from the study guide.. and she tells you almost exactly what to expect on the tests!

I don't see what all the fuss is about. She's OKAY.. Over-the-top nice, to the point where it gets a little irritating. Thinks US and Canada are a world apart in terms of language, pop culture, traditions etc. WTF. The course itself is easy.. the 2 tests had questions taken directly from the online practice Q's. I loved that.

I highly recommend Professor Vickers, but do yourself a favor and attend the lectures. She gives many hints about the material and how it will be covered on the exams, and the lectures themselves are so in depth with great examples. There is a lot to memorize but if you pay attention and do a thorough review before the exam you will be golden!

inspiring prof! Tests involve text material + lectures but each are only based on the previous 3 chapters (non-cumulative). The research paper came with such detailed instructions that there should be no confusion. She marks the paper by simply giving mark for mentioning a specific detail as well as for grammar and formatting. Highly recommend!!!

You can tell Dr. Vickers really loves to teach. She is so excited and animated during lectures and really knows the material inside and out. I often asked questions after class and was always provided with very detailed answers. Exams are marked very fairly and reflect the readings assigned along with material from lectures.

The course itself is a little tough, but if you come to class, read the textbook, and take notes, you'll be fine. PSY105 is ridiculously hard for an intro to psych class. Lectures are very long, every hour of lecture takes about 2 hours to write notes. She had 3 hours of lectures every week. Professor Vickers is a really nice and friendly person, but the content of this course was so heavy. Ended up having to drop the course because it was dropping by GPA.
