Took her Art Appreciation class in the fall, she was eloquent, helpfull, and graded fairly. Just show up, do the two (very easy)one page essays and take the quizes and youll get an A no problem. Take her class if you can...

She is a very understanding and encouraging instructor, which makes the course looks simple than actually it is.

Cons:Beware if your a creationist, she teaches history. Pros:Shes smart, very nice, very clear, the assingments/tests are reasonable, and she's seems to be real edumcated in her teachings. Recommended

For the whole semister she had two exams,her exams are not too easy but if u spend 2 days before the exam u can make an easy A,she gives u outlines and make us just to know about them(not completly ).she is completly helpfull if u ask any help from her.Trust me if u just study 2 days before the exam u can make an easy A.she is a good prof

SHE IS A GREAT TEACHER. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO CLASS, JUST DO THE HOMEWORK AND YOU WILL GET AN A...EASY CLASS!!!

She gives reviews for the tests and tells you exactly how she's going to grade projects. If you cant figure out how to do well not sure if you'll do well in other classes either.

Excellent class, projects were fairly easy to complete. Only two tests, so not a lot of room to make up points. professor is knowledgeable and excited about her subject - fun teacher. I rarely used the book to study from, never brought it to class.

I LOVE THIS TEACHER!!!!! She is really good in explaining different art of work, and makes it interesting. So you will never be bored in her class. She has 4 exams, and 1 essay containing 5 works of art. I didn't buy the book like recommended by her. I just got it from the library to do the review. Overall total AWESOMENESS!!! ;)

I'm not real sure what all these other people are talking about how she only has 2 exams and only 1 page essay. She must of changed for this semester. It is now 4 exams and a 9 page essay. And as for her exam, I came to every class, took good notes, and studied the review for over 4 hrs but when I got the exam I felt I knew none of the answers.

She was amazing and set her expectations from the beginning of class. Her exams came directly from the review. I wish more professors were like her as far as consistency. Loved her!

Took her in Wintermester LOVED here very easy class. Quizes were easy and Group project was fun.

This teacher is awesome. She is clear, concise, and knows her stuff. She gives an outline for the test. If you know what's on the outline, you make an A. All you have to do is show up, take notes, do some light reading of the chapters. She gives several opportunities for extra credit and she grades on a curve. Easy A!

She is soooooooooo hot. And she's a pretty good professor. She doesn't like absences though. Show up to class and take notes, read over the book when making the study guide and you'll make an A. If I can do it, anyone can.

Miss Elizondo is a great teacher she listens to what you have to say and goes through her course all by notes. i had her for art appreciation and took notes all the time and four test not including the final. so to pass this class you must show up to class and take notes and pass the tests.

Professor Elizondo is a great teacher. I took her wintermester class. Very simple, Show to class everyday, take notes from her powerpoints and you will earn an easy A. she talks a lot but its okay because shes hot and her laugh is cute.

I took her class in person and as long as you study the notes she gives daily and the chapter reviews, you will do fine. Drops the lowest test grade and some times offers extra credit. Great class!

Kristina did a wonderful job both in conveying the information and making each lesson interesting. I wans't interested in art at all but after taking here class I find that I really do enjoy the stories behind the art. I would take any class that she was teaching.

Professor was knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. Coming from someone with a little art background, her class was engaging and especially so for those that have not encountered art before. I am totally blown away by her ease in class. It has always been hard for me to remember things, but she made it so easy to remember and get an A. I left her class knowing a lot more than when I went in. By day 2 I was wanting more. As for her, very very very beautiful and sweet. Knows how to control her class and keeps you awake.

Professor Elizondo is one of the GREATEST art teachers that TCC has to offer. Her lectures are understandable and relates them to a way you will remember it. Just study your notes for the tests as well as the art works and your sure to pass your tests! I am looking foreword to taking Art History Survey 2 this fall. Side note she is funny and nice.

In all honesty, Professor Elizondo is one of the most genuine, down to earth and quick-witted professors I've had the pleasure of taking. She's passionate about the subject, and she will make you passionate about it as well. I came out of her class a more well-rounded individual. She's very sweet and helpful. An absolute must take!

This class is pretty easy, and the instructor is extremely lax on tests, but she gets strict on essay grading. Unfortunately takes a very long time to respond to e-mails and isn't in her office all the time. However, she saves you money by not using the book. Her review sheets almost guarantee a B+ if you skip and just Google the material.

I've really enjoyed this class and have learned many things. As long as you attend class regularly, take notes, and study the vocab and paintings you will pass with flying colors. Very simple fun class, she is far from boring and super duper pretty.

Ms. Elizondo is very kind and helpful with anything you need. She tells you exactly what you need to write down, and the tests are straight from that. She doesn't and won't send you the notes, so attendance is mandatory. If you just look over your notes for tests, its an easy A+. You also do 4 essays but they are short and simple topics.

pretty cool teacher I learned a lot in that class I never cared much for art but after taking the course she has made me appreciate it. Easy course you got to show up to get your notes cause she doesn't post them online unless she's not going to be there. She's nice and helpful. She sorta takes long putting grades up but overall she's great.

This class was very fun!! I had no interest in Art prior to this class and now I have learned several new terms that I can use and a different aspect of art in general. Ms. Elizondo was awesome. She really loves art and it shows when she is teaching. Had fun in the class and even went on a museum field trip, which helped me appreciate art even more.

Everything that was she talked about in lecture and notes from powerpoints was on the exams. Exams were simple multiple choice. Study the vocab words and you will do fine on the exams.

Take her class, you won't regret it. Don't even bother looking for a different teacher for this class because she is hands-down the best you will find. I took her class during the summer and she is very down-to-earth, her lectures are easy to understand, and you will want to go to class. I have a whole new respect for art because of her.

I don't appreciate art, but this class made me a fan of it. I recommend taking her during the Winter or Maymester like I did, because you won't have time to write a paper like the regular semester kids did, and you only have to travel to the museum once. It is impossible to fail her class and her quizzes are simple and from her notes. Easy A+ class

Wonderful Teacher.... The class consist of 4 exams and 1 two page paper. No textbook, just Power Points. Take notes from the Power Points and study them, you make an A.

I took Ms. Elizondo for wintermester because this is a great time to knock out that required credit. Definitely loved her awesome lectures, fair grading, and clear cut slide shows. I will be taking her Art History class during the summer, or maymester because she's just that great!!

She didn't respond to emails, but did in class. Some reviews posted last minute. You can do well if you attend class and pay attention. Cares, and wants students to. It's not a free 'A', but pay attention and an 'A' is attainable. Pretty? Very! Easy on the eyes. But not a reason to take her class. You will learn to, dare I say, appreciate art.

I loved Elizondo! If you take notes and study you'll totally be fine, the exams are not extremely hard. She definitely got me to appreciate art even more so than I already do. Professor Elizondo in one word is chic; sophisticated, composed, and witty. All you must do is show up ON TIME to class, take notes, and pay attention. Don't hesitate to ask questions or provide commentary during lecture. Extra credit is provided but you honestly should not need it. Art Museum visit is required. She is helpful and easy going.

Hands down one of the best professors at TCC. Her lectures are pure gold when it comes to learning about The Art World. I had to admit I was frighten in doing my first Maymester because I'm a slow learner and very visual but I passed with an A. She has quizzes everyday, daily grades, partner project, and one Final. Write down the notes and study.

Her tests are so easy I made all A's just by going over the review once. She does tend to take long to grade things, but else then that, she's perfect. 10 outta 10, would recommend. Prof. Elizondo is very knowledgeable &amp; passionate about Art History and overall an AMAZING professor! Lectures are engaging &amp; thought-provoking. Tests are straightforward &amp; taken directly from the test review. There is one museum paper worth 25 percent of the overall grade, but if you know your stuff, it's not a complicated assignment to complete.

Stop looking at rate my professor, she's probably the most solid choice of an art history professor you will ever find. She's painfully easy as long as you pay attention and study her outlines for the tests. The hardest thing you do is a museum paper. Beware of attendance tho because she does do random daily assignments (very easy!)

Professor Elizondo was easily one of the most amazing teachers I've ever had. We only have a DL learning course so we never had synchronous meetings, but she pre-recorded all of her lectures and all of the quizzes you take are open book. There is no final exam, mostly journal entries, 2 papers, and a group project but they're a breeze. Take her!
