Miss Kristina, is the best teacher ever, she helps students pass her class, if you forget to do your hw she will extant the date. Also if you scored low in a test she will give out test correction and raise your grade! Miss Kristina is very understandable and will do anything to help you pass her class. What more can you ask for!!! Take her!!!

Kraakmo, is amazing! I never had to really study because she explained so well. Homework and modules were my study guides.I am taking a combined course so this class is less than 2 months long. I don't believe the negative comments at all. I recommend taking her class.

She is the best professor I've ever had. I'm not a math person & after taking her Developmental Math II & Intermediate Algebra courses I have become very efficient at math. Her classes are very hands on and she makes learning math easy. TAKE HER CLASS! Listen to her requirements, do homework & modules. You should have no problem passing her class.

Just finished Intermediate Algebra which consisted if hw on web assign and three test plus a final. She gives you a few quizzes but about the material you are learning that same day. She is the best teacher I've ever had and wish she would give college algebra this summer. She's sweet and very helpful. Take her! You won't regret it.

If every professor in the U.S. was just like her, not just in math but all subjects, America would be number one in education. She has to be one of the best professors I have ever taken. Highly consider taking her class.

I had reservations after reading a couple of the prior comments, however, Ms. K is a wonderful teacher. She is patient and helpful and does what she can to help her students "get it". I wish I'd had teachers like this back in "the day" in high school. Math makes so much more sense, thanks to her. I HIGHLY recommend taking her class!!!

I took her combined Dev II and Intermediate algebra class, so it was really intense. I have to say, she made it fun and was a terrific teacher. All math teachers should be this good! Highly recommended!!!

Professor Kraakmo is the best math teacher at valencia! she really takes the time to explain things and usues great examples to make math relatable. I took her for Devleopmental math 2 and intermediate and i got a B In both. I failed math three times in HS. She is a great teacher!

Wonderful teacher, very approachable. Seems to genuinely care about students. Actually has office hours and is happy to see students. Makes things easy to understand.

Ms. K is an amazing calculus 2 professor. She is always very excited to be there teaching and her style is very clear and concise.

Had Mrs. K for both Trigonometry and now Calculus I. She's a really good teacher, always willing to help, suggesting office hours and emails, willing to slow down and explain in her lectures, partial credit on tests, offering extra credit and she drops certain grades. Use WebAssign this semester (awful program). Other than that, good experience.

Great teacher, she communicates really well with the students who love her. There was a lot of group work, so be prepared to talk to people in your class.

Very good professor, knows her stuff. A lot of homework, 4 tests and a final be on point and listen to her ask questions as many times as you would like she will explain. Gives a lot of great feedback and also has office hours to further help you out.

Professor Kraakmo is a quality educator with a genuine desire to help her students succeed. She gives every opportunity to excel in her course and will do everything she can to help you learn the material. On top of that, her grading is fair and her lectures are quite effective. She really made learning Calculus feel like a walk in the park.

Amazing instructor who loves what she does. Not only does Mrs.K make herself available to her students whenever, she also will help you with any question you have even if its about your major. She cares about you passing! lots of homework involved but honestly it helps you on the tests! I am horrible at math and I actually passed her class!

She is such a nice lady and is very clear about explaining things, but the course is onsite only, not hybrid, and yet more than half of our work is done online. If you want to retake a quiz on mathlab, you better be prepared to spend 3-5 hours on it. Would not recommend for someone expecting and easy A, because you will have to work for it

I'm not the greatest in math and I passed She's understanding if a situation comes up but don't take it for granted At first I thought she was a bit unclear, but she got better and better throughout the semester, and I actually felt like she was there to help so I'd recommend her Quizzes take a couple of hours, no less No calculator for most tests

A very nice professor who is pretty clear and gives decent lectures. However, tests are a bit on the challenging side and she gives out a ton of awful online homework. The worst part was the software of the online homework. Huge amounts of homework that takes ages to do without any feedback when you get something wrong. A rough experience.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. Took her spring semester 2015 and she is just awesome. Is always willing to help you if you have any questions. Is extremely patient, extremely APPROACHABLE. Adorable, super pretty, so nice. Very clear in what she expects, very friendly. Take her you wont regret it. Would definitely take her again for another course.

She is the best math professor ever!! She's so nice and is always willing to help students. Professor K makes it super easy to follow along and ties everything together so it all make sense. The class isn't super easy but I mean it's pre-calc. Attendance isn't mandorty but it's difficult to catch up if you miss a lot. Definitely would take again!

Such an amazing professor. She will explain any topic until her students understand it. Very interesting class and I cant stand math. All homework and quizzes are done online. 6 exams including final. I had a lot of personal issues this semester and I would not have passed if I had any other teacher. TAKE HER YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Shes pretty understanding and rounds up your final grade. I ended with a 72, because Im not good at math. Her test are weight 60 percent and the final replaces your lowest test score. The book isnt needed because hw and quizes are done online, but you'll need an access code.

Very nice professor, she always seemed to be in a good mood and was very clear on her lectures, she was approachable if you had questions or needed extra help, she was very sweet but strict about her rules, she takes attendance at the end of class, i enjoyed the class and i would definitely take her again.

Do the homework, take good notes and you will pass. There is lots of homework, multiple attempts on quizzes, and in-class tests. The only thing is that she goes over easy questions in class and when you get to the homework, you will find hard questions that you have never seen before. She emails back pretty fast and is very helpful with reviews/hw

She is an amazing professor who always there for students. However, her classes are not an easy cake. You have to work for it. Her tests are a bit on a challenge side, but they arent too bad. If you really want to learn, then she is your professor. Otherwise, you might look for another professors, but calculus is hard in general. Good luck

She gives you little tidbit for each lesson and goes over many examples. She gives a lot of homework problems for each lesson that takes a lot of time and then quizzes to make sure you understand it. Her test are hard but if you do the quizzes it's questions just like it. She is really nice and make sure you know where the class is going next.

She's great at teaching and the homework isn't too bad, just an assignment and quiz for every lesson. Make sure you do assignments each night or you will fall behind in work. Everything is due right before the test though unless otherwise noted with is nice.

Not an easy A. Amazing professor who cares and is passionate about what she teaches. It is wise to review basic algebra and trig before taking calc, where she will expect you to know basic concepts from these previous classes.

Miss K is a great professor. She cares about her students and will put the effort to help if you give your best as well. The class is not meant to be an easy A but if you work for it, it is possible. HW and practice tests are available online so make sure to do them. I took her for pre-calc and calc 1 and would take her for calc 2 if she taught it.

She is absolutely great! I've never been so sure about an educator wanting their students to succeed and loving to teach them. As far as character goes, she is one of the sweetest and endearing people I've ever met in a classroom, she was upbeat and engaged in an 8:00 class.

She is a good professor. have exercises during the classes to practice. If you wanna get A, you have to work hard.

She is amazing. I took her for 2 classes. She lectures the whole time, but offers a lot of participation. Tests are difficult, but reflect the class material. She doesn't assign homework questions that we didn't cover. She doesn't test on material we didn't cover either. I loved her teaching so much. (My poor grade was my own fault, didnt do work)

She is great. Took her for Precalc and Trig. The class is hard, but manageable. If you do and understand the homework, you'll pass. She doesn't assign homework or tests that don't follow the material covered in class. You can go to her office for help and ask questions in class. Personally, I recommend asking as many questions as possible.

I began Prof. Kraakmo's class with an F. An F! After the first month I began to think I was not going to pass this class, but I worked hard and managed to get a B. There is a take home test in which you can make a 100%. Make sure to complete all of you homework assignments as they really help understand and boost your grade. I am taking her again.

I dont get how people find her a bad professor. The homework is EXACTLY like the test. Do the homework, understand and you will pass 100%. She is awesome with visual learners so you can actually understand what is happening. Goes over homework. So if you didnt pass you are just lazy.

I've taken this class once before with another professor and by far, Professor Kraakmo is one of the BEST math professors I've ever taken. I had her for Precalculus and now I've taken Calc I with her and I seriously wish I took the whole math sequence with her. The techniques she uses are very clear and way better than the book.

Professor Kraakmo has probably been my favorite professor so far and it's my first semester as a college student. She is super caring and as much as I dislike math she explains it well and this semester there was even an in class tutor. She cares about her students and provides resources to help them pass, since that is her first priority.

If you dont study, you wont pass. Shes very caring and does what she can to help you succeed, you just have to put in the effort. 4 exams throughout the semester which effect your grade the most. Final is mandatory but will replace your lowest exam grade.

Great teacher, explains the material very well and concise. Class in itself is difficult so you do have to study and take notes. Homework is all on MathLab and you have 5 exams. Final is mandatory and replaces your lowest exam. Don't freak out if you don't do well on the first one, everyone does.

BEST MATH TEACHER IVE EVER HAD. I really am so bad at math, and I did not an A in this course but that is at no fault but my own. She is a great teacher, you have to work for your great but she will do anything to help you. You can not miss class and expect to grasp a concept unless you are familiar with it. Professor Kraakmo is a great professor who is willing to help you and answer your questions. The class is very test heavy because the only grades are homework and tests. However, she does post pre-tests that help significantly with the tests. The final replaced the lowest test score (which saved my grade from tanking). I learned by memorization.

Say what you want, but if you ask her for help outside of class, she will take as much time as you need to understand the concept. I thought her lectures were easy to follow, the biggest downside to her class was the mandatory graded homework. If it was optional, I would've liked PreCalc a lot more because not every chapter needed 20 questions.

She is an amazing teacher who wants to help push students to their maximum potential. She is very smart and does her best not to confuse you. Will warn that you need to do the HW and review them for tests. If you have questions she is very approachable and cares about how well you do. FOR SURE WORTH IT!
