So helpful and interesting. She keeps the whole class interested the entire time, never bores. Mrs. Yegoryan makes Powerpoint slides to make the class fun and easier to understand (one thing that no other English instructor does). I definitely recommend taking her class!

I always had a really hard time with writing Essays and concentrating. English has never been my favorite class until I took Engl 101 with Prof. K. Yegoryan. SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER! I took English 33 last semester with Prof. K. Yegoryan. It was a late evening class, and most of us were coming from work and were tiered. Her teaching, the way she explains is SO INTERESTING that kept our attention and we were all tuned, and learned so much! The best teacher ever! VERY SMART. This college is blessed to have her.

This Professor is not only an excellent example to her students, but she puts her whole heart into it. I was hesitant to take an English class in Winter but I have heard so much about this instructor that her lectures are so interesting, I decided to try my luck. I was able to add Yegoryan's class. OMG, Indeed, I LOVE HER LECTURES! So interesting! Everyday, I look forward to the class. It is 4 days a week an evening class but I am so happy taking it

Professor Yegoryan is an amazing professor and well known around the campus, her classes are almost always full. She's clear and uses videos in her class to inspire you and explain points. I turned in my assignments on time and did well on the essays. Do not avoid class too much as you can't make up classwork! She does offer Extra Credit though.

Only used book for first two weeks, dont get it; lots of EC take all opportunities. Lectures get long but gives a break or two at times. Sometimes lets you leave early. I believe there were only two papers that weren't all that difficult. Group work so be ready. Pretty easy she gives points for showing up. If confused ask questions she's very nice

Easy "A" if you do the work. She will let you turn in work late without penalizing you and she is very easy on grading. NO NEED TO BUY THE BOOKS at all. Just show up and you will pass.

Her assignments r easy but her final u have to do a little more work, still easy. attend the workshop (extra credit). If you miss a class she will let you turn assignment but email.

She is truly an amazing professor with great patience and a delightful sense of humor. She has an excellent teaching skill and and is very courteous.

She wants everyone to succeed and pass and is willing to help you in any way she can. She is NOT punctual though. She was on time to our class only once the entire semester, and was sometimes late by 45 min, asking us to wait by email. Only had one big paper, which kinda sucked because her expectations increase ten-fold compared to earlier papers.

Best English professor I've ever taken at LAVC! Yegoryan gives everyone the opportunity to pass and makes English fun and easy. You do not need the book and she reviews all her lessons to make our lives less stressful. This is one class I will miss and I plan on taking her 103 class for fun! I'm beyond happy I took her, one of the best professors at Valley. Her class always gets packed so fast, so students please taker her. She cares so much for her students, and gives so much extra credit for your to earn an A. The whole class pass with an A. One Essay, ten in class assignments, and no homework. No exam. Easy A. I Took this professor for winter 2020 and she blew me away. Her enthusiasm made me look forward coming to class everyday. It was winter so it went quick but she made sure everyone understood her lectures. She cares about her students and gives everyone a chance for extra credit so take it. She teaches you to see the world from a new perspective.

She teaches the same material for 102/103. If you take her 1 day a week class for 3 hours she usually lets you leave 30-60 mins early. Attendance is needed as she gives group projects. Easy extra credit options, little to no hw. Only thing that requires work is final essay 4-5 pages. If you need to pass 102/103 she makes it fun/stress free to pass

She is AMAZING! Took Professor Yegoryan during winter and the class was an easy A. She has zoom meetings but they are optional, she records and posts them in case you can't join. There was a max of 2 assignments a week, sometimes less. No tests but there was a final essay, which was easy as well. Loved her so much I'm taking her for English 102.

Sooooooooooooooooooo Sweeeeeeeeeet Prof. I have ever had. I am a struggling student trying to adapt to a new culture and language. First of all, I took ESL classes. I took an English 101 class this winter semester after finishing ESL classes. It was not so hard for me She always gives good feedback.

She cancelled a lot of classes. She pushed back the due dates on most the assignments. Extremely easy class if you're looking for that A. 4/5 because she cancelled literally 4 or 5 classes out of 15 or so. Not much memorization just ethos pathos logos like in 11th grade English. She was late to every class by 20 minutes with a Starbucks in hand lol
