Allows calculators for everything unlike some profs. Very likable guy.

He is the best math teacher I've ever had. If you do the homework you will do great. Take it from someone who failed this class with another prof. last semester.

Great guy. Young and energetic. The class itself isn't easy because of all the calculations you have to do, but he makes it kinda fun and interesting. Definately take him for stats if you have the choice.

Presler is fun and easy to understand. He does a lot of interactive stuff which keeps your attention. He also writes on the board a lot which gives you a great view of his tight little butt. TAKE HIM!

Such a great professor! Stats is tricky no matter what, but Presler makes it SO much easier to understand. I'm not the best at math, but had to take this class for my PR major. His teaching style helped me get a high A. If you have to take stats, take it with him!

He does an excellent job overall teaching this course. I am very bad at probability & he made it so easy to understand. He has group quizzes & homework due almost every week, so my suggestion is be on top of things & make good notecards because it'll save you time preparing for the final.

AWESOME class, AWESOME Professor! Take Presler cuz U won't regret! All quizzes were in groups so don't fret if U don't understand cuz most likely some1 in the group will know. The group quizzes were what pulled my grade up. The tests were based from in-class notes and group quizzes. MAKE SURE TO GO TO CLASS AND TAKE THOSE NOTES. they'll help a lot!

If you're like me and math isn't your thing this class is tough. Plan to do hw about 1-2 hours every day..if you don't do it you will be lost..and if you skip a class you will really be lost because that happened to me.Excellent prof. though strongly recommend you take him for stats I got a C+

He is awesome. He doesn't mind spending time to explain over and over. If you still do you get it, he will try different to explain until you get it. He is really educated and experienced.

The material is challenging but Presler cares very much that students understand it. He is always available during office hours and makes it a point to cover particularly challenging homework problems in class.

If you don't get a good grade it's not his fault. Awesome guy.

Unreal teacher. Very helpful. Tests are not extremely hard but they are challenging. He really cares about your success and tosses in a few jokes when he can. Id say best professor at UWEC.

Take him. Stats is hard, but he is really good at teaching it. Office hour is also really helpful if you have more questions. Take him, you'll definitely like him.

This is a very difficult class. Despite that I got a B+ in this class, it has made studying for MFE so much easier. Kris teaches the MFE material better than the ASM manual does, in my opinion.

Professor Presler is a great professor who, as far as math goes, makes the class very clear and simple. The nature of the class is difficult, but Kris really does his best to make things easy to understand. If you go out of your way to ask questions, he will go out of his way to help you. The homework is excessive and not mandatory but very helpful

GREAT GUY. loves to talk about his daughters in class. Very very helpful. Goes at a slow paste so everyone wont get confused but YOU GOTTA STUDY AND DO THE HOMEWORK PRACTICES OR YOU WILL GET LOST. Other than that, you should be fine in his class. GREAT GUY. take him for stats 264

He was by far the best statistics teacher i've ever had. He made a very hard class a lot easier than it was. He makes topics a lot easier. The tests aren't too hard if you understand what each lesson is. Really good teacher. Gives a lot of group quizes (probably one a week). Gives positive reinforcement and makes lectures as fun as it could be.

I wasn't a fan of the group homework, but it did help me step out of my box. All quizes were group quizes, so that was nice unless you get stuck with someone that doesn't do anything. Quizes took the entire hour, and I felt were too long for a quiz. Tests were hard. I wouldn't have done well without the notecard we can use. Final was HARD.

Kris is an awesome professor! The semester consists of homework quizzes, but only couple problems per section so don't worry! also group quizzes (open note) are very helpful in learning! outside group homework was at first frustrating, but really helped me succeed! Exams were tough, but what math ones aren't. you are allowed a notecard which helps!

Kris is a great professor and is ALWAYS willing to help you in class or in office hours! I am not the best at stats, but he made learning it tolerable. There are homework iclicker quizzes, group quizzes, and exams (exams are tough so you will need to study!). Great guy and would definitely recommend

He is a really good teacher and does a lot to make you understand what you're doing. The homework isn't checked so you don't have to do it but you won't know what is going on if you don't. There are lots of in class group quizzes and outside of class group homework. You get a notecard for each of the 4 tests. The class is hard but Presler is cool.

Kris Presler 's dad jokes make his class worthwhile. Stats is not an easy subject but I thought he taught it well. Exams are hard but the final was a breeze. Lots of opportunities to boost your grade through homework and test remakes.

Presler is a great professor who takes the time necessary to make sure students understand. The course is very test heavy, but he makes the exams worth 80% and has 20% as a rewrite to help your score. Highly recommended!

Since stats is required for my major, I was absolutely dreading it. But Professor Presler honestly makes it as fun as enjoyable as possible. On the first day of class he told us that he would do his best to keep us engaged and interested and he has lived up to that throughout the semester. I HIGHLY recommend taking him if you get the chance.

Kris Presler is fantastic. He knows his stuff, and better, he knows how to teach it in a way that's easy to understand. He cares that his students comprehend the material, and he'll give you whatever help you need to succeed. There's no surprise material on the tests, and the main homework is MyStatLab (online), which is pretty straight-forward.

I was so nervous to take STATS since i have never taken a stats related course before. But Presler is THE BEST. He is so understanding and will explain the material over and over until you understand it. He also gives you a plethora of opportunities to improve your grade. TAKE him! He is seriously the greatest and i wish he taught every math class.

Presler was the best professor I have taken a class with at Eau Claire. He cares about his students and really knows what hes talking about along with how to teach it. I would take him again in a heartbeat. I am not good with math and I recieved an A in his class due to his teaching abilitys and his help outside of class.

Best professor I have ever had! So I got a D in the class and have to retake it for my major. However, Im retaking it with him because hes a great professor. Hes very understanding and reasonable with extensions! I only did bad because of COVID-19. But before switching to online I had a B and was learning a lot! Super fun and nice!! HES THE BEST

He is very understanding because he genuinely cares about helping students understand the material. I had him for the COVID-19 semester and he was great for when I had him in person, and great throughout the whole process of being online.

Presler is a great teacher but being online this class was really tough to learn. Most of the material was watching videos and going through a course packet to learn the material. Weekly assignments. Exams are fairly hard in my opinion. If you can hold off taking Stats when it's not online, I highly recommend it because this class online sucked.

Prof Presler is fantastic. He made stats a very manageable class. His office hours are so helpful and you can tell he wants us to learn the material and be successful .He is also very approachable if you have questions. I am not usually good at math classes but with his help I was able to receive a good grade in the class.

Prof Presler was such a joy, considering he was my 8 am MWF. He was so nice and checked up on me to see how I was doing. If you HAVE to take Statistics, take it with him. Although, if you hate group quizzes, this isn't the class for you.

Stats is stats. It wasn't a walk in the park but I was able to get an A because Prof. Presler is such a great guy and makes things understandable. He is so wholesome and funny, and made my 8:30am actually entertaining. Definitely take him if you have the chance.

Kris is a really cool guy. He knows stats is hard and tries to lighten the mood with little stories. He respects his students a lot and knows we have places to be so won't make you stay late or waste your time. I ended up skipping this class quite a bit just because I thought lectures were easy, but it ended up hurting my grade a bit.

I really enjoyed stats with Kris. I went into the class wanting to die because I really suck at statistics, but Kris made the class very fun and the material easy to understand. He does his best to reexplain ideas when no one knows what is going on. If I ever had to take a stats class again (thank god I don't.) I would 100% take it with Kris.

Incredible professor! I am awful at math, but he made everything very clear and was always happy to help. He gives group quizzes and 3 exams and there is usually homework at least twice a week.

Would take every math class with him if I could. Tries to make class engaging and adds fun stories and jokes. Showing up for class is important. He always answers questions and helps you through the homework if you ask. If you go to class, pay attention, and work hard outside of class you should do well. Overall, great professor.

The best professor I've ever had. He genuinely cares about all students and wants to help you learn. You get a note sheet for exams and the final (cumulative). Homework is online with multiple attempts for each one. If you don't like your exam score, you can take an "optional exam" to help your grade. It never hurts it. Take his class if you can!

An absolutely wonderful person and teacher. Every class with this man was a gift. His humor and compassion is unmatched. He does his best to help you if you reach out both in and outside of class.100/10 person and 100/10 professor.

Presler is a great stats professor. He gives out daily canvas HW but it has multiple attempts and you can ask for help. He also gives out a follow-up optional exam after each exam so that it can improve your actual exam. He gives out group quizzes and many easy extra credit opportunities. He is also very funny during class lectures.

very nice and awesome professor. group quizzes every week with randomly assigned people but they're not too hard if you do the homework. 2/3 homework assignments every week. you can have a cheat sheet with the exam. he's really cool and wants you to succeed. offers lots of resources to help people succeed.

Kris was the best professor I had this semester. Not only is he great at teaching, he is also incredibly understanding and compassionate. He truly wants all his students to succeed, and gives us more than enough opportunities to ask questions and get extra credit. He knew the name of each student in my 90-person class and gives 100% every class.
