Dr. Boyce is awesome! She makes lectures interesting and has good stories that help you understand and remember the material. Go to class, take good notes, and you should do well!

Dr. Boyce is one of the nicest professors i have encountered at Ohio State. Genuinly interested in her field, her students, and her school. Take any class by her if you have the choice.

Took intro to social psych with her. She is so nice and is very clear and interesting in her lectures. Not a blow off class but easy to understand.

She's really nice and easy, very clear, you could get all the material from the book easily but she has in-class assignments that you can't miss, so go to class. Quizzes 1 wk before each exam were really helpful for a procrastinator like me. I got an A- and most of my points off were from missing super easy in-class assignments, so go to class.

She is fantastic. Gives you all the info you need in lecture, along with a note 'guide' you can follow along with and fill in. Very fair grader and a genuinely nice person. Take her class!

Dr. Boyce does not teach blow off classes, but she's not super hard either. She is EXTREMELY willing to help!! After going to office hours my grade increased dramatically. Don't by the textbook, her notes are all you need. Makes the class very interesting. HIGHLY recommended!

Dr. Boyce is one of the best professors I have ever had. It's true that you can't afford to miss class, but she is such a good teacher that I never had any desire not to go in the first place. As long as you put effort into studying and attending class, you should get an A no problem. The class itself is not difficult by any means.

I loved this class so much. Dr. Boyce is very clear when she lectures and takes her slides right from the book (though I still think it's worth it to buy the book and do the readings, but that's just me.) She's also extremely helpful in office hours and it really shows that she wants everyone to do well. Great sense of humor and personality too!

Easiest A of my college career. All the information was presented in class on the slides, and the tests were clear and straightforward. Lecture was boring but mandatory because she gave random, inclass assignments. Final was not cumulative like other 1100 classes; however, each group had a presentation project which was different but not too bad!

Wonderful teacher--just be sure to read the textbook for material she doesn't cover in lecture. The good thing is that she will tell you what she won't cover in class, so you will know exactly what to look for in the text book.

The exams were pretty easy. Hw assignments were also easy but boring. You need to attend lecture for in class assignments and because the notes are not complete. The material was very boring for me, but Dr. Boyce is funny and tried to keep people interested.

I absolutely loved Dr. Boyce! Go to class b/c she'll have in class assignments that add up and can help your grade. Study the notes and you should be able to get a A! I liked her class so much that I tried my best NOT to skip it because I enjoyed it so much. One of the kindest profs I've ever had! Very personable too-we even grabbed coffee once!

I liked this woman. I took in the summer, so we only had 2 papers & 3 exams. Literally all you have to do is take the notes she writes in class, plus her examples she gives (she doesn't post powerpoint slides). I wish she wouldn't take off points on your exam grade if you had an excused note !!

Her class is so easy, I have gotten 100% on both midterms with barely studying. As long as you show up (to get points for the in-class activities, which are worth a good portion of the class), you will do fine. There are only 4 homework assignments and they take maybe 10 minutes each. She's super caring and I would recommend taking her class!

Great professor! Exams were straight from the notes and super clear. Don't need to read over your notes more than once for an A. The 4 short assignments were easy and also straight from notes. In-class activities were basically free points for participating. Best professor to take this class with - nice, clear, and informative.

Dr. Boyce was a really great professor! I went into the class thinking that it wouldn't be that interesting, but Dr. Boyce's profound insight and enthusiasm for the subject matter proved me wrong. Her lectures are very organized and she communicates the information very well making it easy to understand. Couldn't have been more satisfied!

One of my favorite professors here because of how much enthusiasm she has for psychology and her students. Definitely recommend taking a class with her at least once. Make sure you go to class and take good notes, as she does not post full slides online.

Dr. Boyce is great! She is funny, nice, and enthusiastic. Grade consists of 3 exams (58%), 3 easy homework assignments (29%), and several random but very easy in-class assignments (13%), which she uses as an incentive to attend class, as you never know which days she will hand them out. If you show up, do the assignments, and study it is an easy A!

Random in-class activities will be the death of you. The lecture is basically copy and pasted onto the exams.

Dr. Boyce is very clear and knowledgable. She loves teaching and wants her students to understand the material well. She does not try to make this class more difficult than it needs to be. A chill and fair professor for an interesting class.

She was SOOO nice. Her class was the easiest one I had all semester and I plan on taking another one of her classes next semester. Her tests count for a majority of the overall grade, but they are graded very fairly. GO TO CLASS. only 2-3 homework assignments for the semester because everything else is done in class.

Kristy is a wonderful professor who makes lecture interesting and relatable. She is passionate about her are of expertise and relays information very well. No book is needed in order to obtain a decent grade. There are some in class assignments that count for attendance/ in class assignments but are super easy. I for sure will take her class again

I took 2 classes (2300&3530) with Dr. Boyce, and I loved taking both of them. She presented intriguing lectures, very fair tests, and she was very accommodating to my crazy schedule when I took her class (optometry school interviews & family emergencies. The only downside for someone who likes to skip class is her random in-class assignments.

This was my second class with Dr. Boyce and I still love her! She is the sweetest lady to ever walk this planet. The class itself is SUPER easy, everything is basically common sense or is explained in detail in lecture. Also, I asked D. Boyce to be a reference for a research position and she was SOOO willing and so excited to help me. Love her!!

Ms. Boyce is a pretty nice professor! She is caring, kind, and very knowledgeable at the same time. I remember when I chatted with her about one of the social psychology topics I am interested, and the next day she sent me the email about some researches and books she recommended. (But it doesn't mean the class is easy!!!)

I loved her class! It was very straightforward and engaging. She's very approachable and always gives examples, explains and makes sure everyone understands. The material was not difficult at all. If you pay attention in class and do just a little review before the exam, you should easily get an A. Take her class!

The Most Manageable Honor Course I've taken. (Class Avearage is A 93.8%) Just make sure you attend every class,and know the concept of the slide and the main result of the research article. Most part of the video assginment can be done during class time. Great Professor! Would Highly Recommended!

Go to class because all the notes are taken in class. You don't need a textbook or anything but remember there is no curve. I was .01 away from an A and could not be rounded but overall she is a super nice professor and it should be easy as long as you study.

Professor Boyce is awesome! I learned so much from this class and would definitely take her again. Assignments and tests are straightforward, and there are extra credit opportunities. If you just pay attention during lecture and have a rough understanding of the weekly articles, you'll be fine. Overall this was a very easy class.

Dr. Boyce is an easy grade and assignments are easy. I took this class asynchronously, so all of the quizzes were open note. Dr. Boyce is also extremely understanding and gives everyone two "oops" passes to get extensions on the assignments. She also provides opportunity for extra credit.

Dr. Boyce was very kind in her feedback, though I never interacted with her in person. Her class was easy and the criteria was clear while learning a lot. It was a great intro class, not too intense but I learned enough.

Dr. Boyce's class was pretty interesting. I appreciated the fact that her lecture videos managed to be succinct while covering almost everything we needed to know. There were quizzes every other week, which were usually pretty easy if you watched the lectures and read the textbook, and the HW was generally easy points, too. Definitely recommend!

She is very clear on the assignments and their due dates, always sending email reminders to get them done. The exams were open book and times, but if you read the chapter you would easily get an A. There are weekly readings and mini-quizzes about the chapter, as well as homework, but it was all very manageable and open book.

Truly an amazing person. Overall, the class content is very easy to understand, and watching her lecture slides prior to the lecture was plenty for the quizzes. Everything was open-note and pretty simple. Just do the assignments and you will be very successful!

This is my second class was Dr. Boyce. Not only are her classes typically pretty easy for upper-division courses, but she is also an amazing person. She will put in extra work to make sure you understand the material.

Dr. Boyce really wants her students to do well. Her lectures are super clear and she gives guided notes for each one. There are a couple of group projects and a presentation but they aren't too bad. Midterms and final are online, non-cumulative, open note. She is incredibly nice too.

She gives a lot of work and the class requires you to read the entire textbook due to inquizitive. She does seem like she cares about the students but thats hard to display in an online course. There are no cumulative exams, just quizzes every other week on the chapters we worked on. There also is no final.

The lectures were pretty boring for me, but Dr. Boyce does everything she can to make class more fun. She is very kind and helpful.

The only assignments were two group projects, 3 exams, and REP participation, so if you got a bad group things were awful. Lectures were straightforward, and she provides PDFs of the slides to take notes on. Open-note exams. Highly recommend.

Good professor, easy class. Don't need to read textbook, tests are easy. She records the lectures, but I'm not sure if that's because of COVID. Would probably be boring if I had to go to class because it takes me 15 minutes to watch each lecture once I skip past everything irrelevant and play it at double speed. She's caring and easygoing.

Professor Boyce was so caring and you can really tell that she is passionate about her field. Lectures were organized and to the point and she took measures to make sure everyone understood everything she was teaching. I would definitely take another one of her classes.

This class was very boring but easy. There were some interesting parts, but only reason I went is because of TopHat. Lectures are extremely long (20+ slide) and she will tell you to read the book, but you don't need to. I would have had an A in the class, but I got docked points on my project!

I genuinely loved taking this class and will be looking for more classes that she teaches. Her lectures were very informative and I was always interested in what she was saying. She's very passionate and enjoys social psychology and it shows, and it definitely shows. If you don't take one of her classes, you're definitely missing out.

one group project that you work the entire semester through, easy lectures and exams, I really enjoyed the material (but i'm also a psych major). she is easy to email/talk to whenever you need help. grade based on chunks of group projects, and 3 exams. you can get an A even without going to lecture; there is one group presentation

KRISTY BOYCE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR AT OHIO STATE. Her lectures are so interesting and she is truly so kind and caring. She is always willing to provide help to her students no matter what. I wish I could take all my classes with Professor Boyce.

A very bubbly person, gives off english teacher vibes. She also seems like she has ADHD lmao. Course was super interesting! Concepts were easy (basically operationalized common sense) and there's semester-long groupwork where you present a research study and write a mock research proposal.

Dr. Boyce is a very down to earth professor who won't make you feel bad about yourself. While attendance isn't mandatory, if you miss class you won't be able to get the notes. However, if you have a good reason for missing, she will give you access to the filled in slides. I always feel good leaving her class.
