This class really helped me get out of my shell. I don't like whole class discussions but in this class I was comfortable with doing the discussions. And the work was really easy all you had to do was do it and you got a full grade, but a lot of it is repetitive. I would take this class again.

I really loved Dr. Domjan! She was very understanding and clear with what she expected. She was very patient with me and accepted all of the late work I turned in for full credit. Even though I was not interested in the topic of the class to begin with, she made it very easy for us and very engaging. I would take her class again in a heartbeat.

Professor Domjan is really good teacher as well as respected human. She is so punctual and state forward towards the class. She put all the small details in the google documents which make the assignments more easier and untestable.

Dr. Domjan is a very caring and straightforward teacher-do all that she says and you'll get a great grade. Now, she does ask for quite a bit, and this may feel tedious and excessive. If you aren't prepared to do sizeable homework for every class, be wary, however, if that sounds fine to you in place of a few high value papers/tests-go right ahead.

She also provides ample opportunities to earn extra credit which can boost your grade. She responds to emails quickly and is very understanding.

Professor Domjan is an absolute angel. She is very lenient and very understanding. Her homework assignments are quite easy, and her class was enjoyable. If you are looking to take a class with a kind-hearted professor who really cares about her students, she is the one for you.

Students can learn writing skills in a formal style from Professor Domjan. Professor also provides many useful tools to students as a writing assistant tool, these tools are helpful to improve writing skills.

The professor has a whole syllabus in the semester so that I can know what knowledge and information I will have and improve my writing skills with the academic. The assignment looks like not very hard, but I need to spend time finishing and brainstorming to do my assignments. I found that my write has improved than before.

The professor did great job in the academic writing class I learned good writing skill from the professor. Even, I have to mention that she is so supportive, kind and liberal for the assignments. She is very nice and supportive. The main thing I feel the course is very heavy because of the homework. It took me 6-8 hours to finish every week which was very time-consuming.

It has quite a lot of homework. But those are not that hard and easy grade. I really recommend to take any course of her.

Took her OGIS class, absolutely the best! So I registered for her Core 105 class. The two classes are similar in the structure and style, the only thing different is the content. She is very caring and understandable, don't worry if you get a bad grade since you could always redo it. Love her!

Professor Domjan is a good professor. My biggest issue in her class was the unclearness of assignments. I see her vision of having everything in a single doc. However, I found it quite confusing and complicated a course that already had a ton of different materials. I also found requiring students to submit graded notes a little elementary.

Professor Domjan was probably the best professor I have taken during my 1st year of college at AU. She is so understanding and helpful when you miss an assignment or when you need help on an assignment. If you missed an assignment she will let you do it again without affecting your grade. Take her!! I would take her again if I could.

Domjan is a wonderful professor for a class that kinda sucks. She is lenient with late work, very kind, gives good lectures and has some engaging class activities. The work load is INSANE. There is genuinely so much work it's ludicrous. It's all busy work, have to cite everything, annoying, etc. Thank god she was a good prof to dampen the effect.

Good teacher, but too much homework and no participation points

I had Professor Domjan at American University for iGen Reboot. The homework she gives is a lot of busy work, but if you look past amount of work, she is a great professor who is eager to answer questions, and take in the perspective of her students. One final thing, she makes you cite everything imaginable so be able to cite in APA.

I really liked her class. I took a writing class for English. Her class is great to learn academic writing. I feel lucky to have her class for my first semester as international student.

Prof Domjan is very forward-thinking: her class normalizes ethical AI use and meets students where they are. The content is very practical and applicable to other courses. She is also very respectful, encouraging diverse povs (even dissenting ones). Guidelines are clear, & the class is interesting, offering a valuable mindset when it comes to AI!

Great teacher, just be ready to have homework often since you need to finish work that was started in class. Not hard, just can be a bit annoying when you have a ton of other stuff to do but you have to spend a couple hours on an ai class.
