I know who wrote that last rating, and they don't even know the difference between your and you're. She's not mean, only to idiot students who NEVER come to class, and then expect extra help. No need to kiss her butt, and if she sees you put forth any bit of effort she'll love you.

LOVED her class! she's funny and really helps students understand the material. i'd never taken spanish before and got an 98 on the final. she makes class fun and always let you out early. put some effort in and she will help you do well.

Great teacher, makes language class as interesting as possible. Go to class and participate and she will love you. Is willing to help you on tests and assignments; easier grader. If you have to take a Spanish class take her!!!

She was a great teacher and really relaxed. you learned alot,but the workload was not over taxing. Not hard to get a decent grade in the class. I highly recommend Senora Musik

I really enjoy her class! The assignments are really easy (they're just from a work book), and she sent out a "review" for the first exam. Since I'm a freshman here I was afraid of the workload in college, but she's made me feel much more comfortable... at least in Spanish.

great teacher, funny and willing to help. i missed the final in 106 and she let me take it the next day, she keep class interesting and doesnt make the material too hard, i hate taking langauge and i am totally horrible at it, but i got a high B in both classes

awesome class. it was like high school all over again. this class is so relaxed, you can say whatever you want and she let us out early all the time. it's a joke, especially if you're good at languages.

I did terrible in Spanish throughout high school, but I ended up with a B+ in her class. Very helpful and tells great stories about her travels to keep the class interesting and relevant.

I studied abroad in Chile with Senora and she was the best! She helped me with all of my problems, was extremely entertaining and always made us laugh (even if it was unintentional on her part).I don't know about class, but i def recommend studying abroad w her!

The best professor if you're interested in actually learning the language. Spanish is her first language, but she is surprisingly understanding of the mistakes students make. (I've had teachers make you scared to talk because they laugh at your mistakes like it should be obvious.) Participate, talk even if you sound a buffoon, and you'll learn.

I LOVE her! She was super helpful and nice. Go to class and do your homework and your set. She always makes it really obvious what is going to be on the tests so pay attention to what she says. Super sweet, easy grader and a pleasure to have. As long as you study for the tests you'll do great! If you can take her!

She is awesomeee! So sweet and really passionate about what she teaches. You have to participate in class. There is no final, just an oral final where you have a 10 minute conversation with her. It was just like highschool spanish. I love her!!

She lets you leave early sometimes and every now and then she gives you hints for the test (though they aren't always great) If you have the option of taking her, DO.

Sra, is the most precious woman ever! Grade is based off 4 "exams" worth 50% of your grade-- not too bad if you study-- and the rest of the 50% is a a mix of participation, a presentation and a few other things. Class was fun and she loves when you talk so always be raising your hand! and dont use your cell phone in class!

Sra is an angel. You're allowed to miss 4 classes without getting points off your grade, but honestly going to class is enjoyable. Tests are pretty easy if you at least study the night before. Online homework almost everyday which is a pain to keep up with but it's actually so easy. TAKE HER CLASS. So helpful and sweet!

She's absolutely amazing. Hilarious, intelligent, and just overall loves her students and her job. She went on about how much she hated the subject material because nobody actually ever uses a certain tense we were learning, so she proceeded to teach us that tense while explaining more fun, relevant topics as well. The homework is very easy and short and the exams are high school level (maybe even easier). It's an easy A, but you'll teach yourself.

A great freshman experience! Yes her class is difficult but she makes it fun and interesting. She shares past life experiences about the Spanish countries we learn about and it really gets you interested. She is also very nice and will make sure you get the help you need! I'm not very good at Spanish and she helped a lot.

Professor Musik is one of the only professors I have had that I feel truly cares about her students. Attendance is only 6% of your grade but you do also get graded for participation. Tests are easy, homework is easy, and the work load is super doable. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

This is a class that you have to set aside time to study, prepare for the next lesson, and review the previous one. Professor Musik is brilliant, she expects a lot from her students but if you just give it a try, you'll be good. The homework is mostly online, you don't need a physical copy of the textbook, and very straightforward and easy.

There are a good amount of online HWs, but they aren't hard and don't take very long + you can go as far ahead as you like. My spanish is terrible, I did not take spanish at all in high school. I barely passed 105 with a different professor, but did much better then I thought I could with Senora Musik. If you can take her class, you should pick her. We frequently used the textbook in class and she utilizes it well to help us learn. Attendance is mandatory.

Profesora Musik is a very nice solid for 106. The class itself is formatted the same as 105. So the workload is a lot but not hard, just tedious. Just do the work and participate a little, you will be good.

I had her the semester we had to go into lockdown and she was so sweet and very mindful on how stressful things were. She made herself very available and cared about us. I never really liked Spanish very much but she made it enjoyable.

Very funny but can sometimes be insensitive. She pretty much maps out all of the exams so they're not hard at all as long as you study. Would definitely recommend having a strong/moderate spanish background because you jump RIGHT IN to coursework, and you're expected to know a fair amount -- homeworks are time consuming and difficult at times.

I loved having Professor Musik! I was not a Spanish person coming into this class and she made sure that everyone was understanding the material, even if you just took it for required credit. She gives us all of her contact info so you can always reach her. She is amazing at teaching the material and prepares students very well for exams. Loved it!

Prof. Musik is very caring about her students and their success. In order to do well in this class you have to show up to class and participate A LOT as she grades participation and attendance. You also have to put a lot of outside effort in and stay on top of studying and homework to do well in this class.

I love Sra. Musik! She's my favorite Spanish professor I've had. She's so nice and truly wants you to do well. She even gives you her phone # so you can text her for help. Study guides prepare you well for the exams. Easy grader. Attendance and participation definitely matter though. As long as you do the homework and show up, you'll be fine.
