Class is fairly easy. He's an awesome teacher, relates dull boring psych babble into everyday terms and expressions.

It is a pretty easy class as long as you write the papers. the tests arent bad at all and the subjects for the paper are anything you want as long as they deal with psychology.

FANTASTIC!! Keeps you awake! You will learn from this very hot man. FAIR TEACHER! Only bias he has is against laziness. PHCC IS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HIM!

WOW! Energetic man will keep you awake. You will want to learn. TAKE NOTES! He knows his stuff. He gives 4 take home tests, 4 in class tests and 4 Gordon Rule papers. I loved this class. Do not take him for granted - DO THE WORK!

It's pretty hard not to pass if you do the papers. Cool guy.

Awesome teacher, my favorite so far. Really fun and great personality. Gives extra credit for attendance like crazy. Dont worry about the tests, they balance out and you get a huge curve.

Coolest teacher I have ever had, He relates humor into his psychology therefore making the class quite interesting. I would definitely recommend taking a class with him.

Faison is one of the coolest teachers I have ever had. I had him for night class and it goes by so fast with his hilarious stories. I took him my senior year in HS for dual enrollment and I enjoyed going to his class. Go to classes to get extra credit. Papers are very easy.

Mr. Faison is PHCC's best professor. This will be my third class with him and not the last! His teaching style is amazing and even though it's been quite a while since I've had him as a professor, I'll always remember ABDSPDQ! A over E! He makes you want to come to class and enjoy it while you are there. Tough tests, but great grading curve!

Professor Faison is very knowledgeable in his field. At first I thought he was a bit extreme with his strict attendance policy, but I later realized he is like that because he has his student's best interest at heart. He has a refreshing sense of humor. Awesome teacher!

Interesting man lol. Knows a lot about his subject and gets into it as well, which is one thing I liked about him. Classes are based solely on powerpoints, which he provides everyeone with. Grade made up of take home tests, tests, and research paper. You do have to show up for class thought otherwise he will deduct. Awesome teacher.

I had great courses with Faison. He always had open-book tests (not sure anymore) and was excited about teaching. He seemed open to students asking questions and giving their opinion. I liked the fact that he never just slapped notes in front of our faces and made us write until the end of class. He interacted and gave us a great experience!

Faison is undoubtedly one of the best professors I've had. He talks fast, so be sure to keep up and be alert. You can learn a lot of psychology from this guy, but only if you do your part by listening to him. Hilarious guy.

His tests are tough but he grades on a generous curve. Read the book, all the test material is form the book! He is very adamant that you come to class and takes it personally if you miss, be sure to show up!

Faison is the best. Always a smile on his face. You will be required to write two 1000 word papers in APA format. There are 4 take home tests(open book) and 4 in-class exams. The key to getting good grades on the exams, is to read the chapters (4 of them per term) the week of the exam. You will have to participate in class circle meetings.

Professor Faison is amazing. His ability to make you enjoy what you are learning is spectacular. Some of the things you learn from him are life-long skills. I would recommend Faison to anyone! ABDSPDQ, AHASP, Don't Be A Slacker!

Faison was an okay teacher. He's very smart and keeps you interested in whats being taught. However, his test are impossible to pass. The study guide has nothing to do with the test and the answers to the study guide are scattered all throughout the book. There's two major research papers due throughout the semester that he grades fairly. Good luck

Mr. Faison was fun, fair, happy, funny and helpful. I took him over the summer but the longest class still let out 40 minutes early. He respected us and tried to teach us real world skills as well as course material. I could go on and on about how great the class was but I'm running out of characters. Only regret is that I didn't take more classes.

This professor is amazing at what he does, he is enthusiastic and keeps the class lively! The class has a take home exam and in class exam plenty of extra credit opportunity available, you have to be very lazy and show no effort to get a bad grade in this class.

Faison is hilarious but you really need to go to class. The tests are pretty much the power points and even though you can access the PP's online he goes more into depth in class, + he's hilarious so you won't ever want to miss class anyways. Faison is a phenomenal professor. Be ready to learn the way education should be taught. Education should not be a miserable task. It should be strict teaching while making the class enjoyable. He is always there to help you if needed after class. Never have I met a professor that has a passion for teaching and for his students to succeed as Faison.

He's such a phenomenal professor and gets so in depth with his lessons. This was my second class with him and I adore him just as much as his Intro to Psych class. He can get so personal with his lectures but everything that comes out of his mouth is hilarious. He makes his students enjoy learning again, I would take every class he teaches! GREAT!!

As long as you do your work and come to class as expected from a college student you should not have any trouble in his classes. His lectures are very informative while at the same time adding humor. He's a very nice/funny teacher. Makes psychology fun. Don't really use book in class but need the passcode that comes with for Pearson and he uses power points. 2 take home test given months in advance 100 questions easy. 2 paper 1st easy 2nd you'll use the Gordon rule apa format. Miss 3 or more days won't get a A.

He was a good teacher. Read the material on your own and we got let out of class almost always 45 minutes early. Graded on a curve and wasn't tough on grading. Don't miss a lot of classes or you will be lost.

Although I must admit that I took his class during the summer and was prone to slack off because of it, Mr. Faison made sure to help me get back on track and the C+ is merely my doing but he is an overall Awesome Professor and I would definitely take his class again!

Faison is amazing. He really cares about the subjects he teaches. You need to participate, but not too much. Try to not skip class too often because he gives out free extra credit randomly and on days where only a few people show up. The textbook can be helpful, but you don't need it, just use his power points. He's also very easy on grading.

There is absolutely no homework and only 4 tests (Including Midterm and Final). The two tests are take home. He is very funny and caring. There was only one paper that wasn't mandatory and it was only 5% of grade.

Faison is hilarious and makes class actually enjoyable. His class is an easy A as long as you show up and pay attention. All tests are graded on a steep curve and he offers tons of extra credit. This is a class you have to show up for as he takes attendance fairly seriously. He wants everyone to pass and provides you with the necessary tools.

He is a really chill professor. Do the work and you will get the grade you deserve. Dont use your phone in class hes a stickler about it, he just wants you to be focused on the lecture. He will teach you some helpful things that you can use in your everyday life.

His class is extremely interesting and there are plenty of opportunities for extra credit throughout the semester. The class is not hard as long as you show up; attendance is counted for a grade.

Mr Fasion is the best. He is so funny !! His "Hello Clarice" refrence cracks me up every time. He keeps class interesting by telling you cool stories. The Essay was rough for me but the class assignments were simple to follow along with . I so would take another class of his.

Faison is a great professor. He is very understanding and wants everyone to succeed, and will always listen to feedback given by his students. Attendance is not mandatory every lecture but he does take attendance, and his lectures are always fun anyways, so it's beneficial to go. A good amount of assignments but they are not difficult at all.

He was very funny but lectures weren't as informative as they could have been. He also got VERY ahead. Each week assignments would come out (ex: ch. 13 Q & D & assignment) but he would be one or two chapters ahead so you weren't able to use what you learned that week on assignment you had to remember from weeks prior. Book is helpful though.

Kelvin Faison was a great professor to have for my first semester of college. I expressed difficulty with his class in the first week, and he immediately scheduled a Zoom meeting and helped me figure out how to do the homework. His feedback was very helpful, and he was kind and considerate.

I have taken Faison for 4 semesters; he is funny but also knows what he is talking about. The classes he teaches are extremely easy; the only down side is you have to write 1,000 words every week but he is very lenient on the due dates if you can not make them. He is a very down to Earth person that realizes students go through a lot.
