Mr. Chunn requires a lot of note taking, but all his tests are based on notes. His tests are very easy as long as you study for them. He is a good teacher.

Took online this Summer. Very easy class. Definately would say if you're bad at attending class, TAKE HIM ONLINE! VERY EASY online assignments, discussion boards, and chapter reviews (word for word from book in order). This is the easiest class I've taken, he should make it a little more advanced.

Dr. Chunn is extremely helpful. If you have a problem with a test, he will help you out. His assignments are easy and as long as you follow the directions you should have no problems.

Mr. Chunn was awesome! He was really kind, clear about what was due, and even gave you a lot of assignments you could work ahead on. It was easy to get ahead in his class. He's not lenient about assignments, but he is very willing to help answer questions. Stern about the right stuff, and very encouraging! I hope to take him again in the future!

He was amazing! Always helpful and I never once saw him get frustrated with anyone. He was always telling jokes and smiling which made it much better learning environment. Gave the assignments a head of time with a schedule which helped a ton! Just do you work in his class and you will be fine!

Dude! Mr. Chunn is the****! He is super easy and super nice! He made class alot more interesting. You take alot of notes, but they are all on powerpoints on blackboard if you miss. The work is super easy (fill in the blank stuff) and everything is on the syllabus, so you know when it is due. It is really easy to get ahead! Take him. He's great!

Dr. Chunn is one of the greatest instructors at MCC. He is considerate to summer students and has a customized book instead of trying to cover a 1000 page behemoth in under 25 days. What are these other instructors thinking having us cover all content in every chapter for summer classes. He is cool and I bet he was a swinger back in the day.

I love Prof. Chunn! He is amazing! He shows fun videos during class to help get his point acrosss and he even tells you when something will most likely be on the test. He does make you do chapter reading reviews but you could probably just skim to find the answers. He makes sociology interesting and because of him I am now a sociology major! =)

He is a great professor. Classes are usually interesting and his view are not radical. He gives you everything you need for the test and if you look over the material before the test you should score high. He posts his lecture usually on line and he uses blackboard. Truly the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Class was easy but interesting and you learn a lot. We usually got out early, and he taught in a clear manner. He seems to really care about his students and makes you feel good about yourself. He's how all teacher's should be! Patient and kind but also an excellent teacher!

Chunn's the bomb, man. He teaches in a way that's fun and easy to pick up on. There is a bit of homework involved, but it's usually an easy worksheet from the book or an opinion paper.

Dr. Chunn is an M.C.C. must-take. He's made a reputation for himself as a brilliant lecturer and he definitely lives up to the hype. Few professors,if any, can successfully pull off a lecturing style that blends stand-up comedy and scholarly knowledge as well as Chunn. His workload is very reasonable and his class can be an easy A with diligence.

LOTS of writing assignments (mainly "opinion" pieces tho, so none are hard)all easy. 5 exams and the final (cumulative). Exams are not bad, he tells you what you need to know. Make sure you attend class though, as much of the exam material is over notes taken from class. Awesome Prof! Fun class. Highly recommended.

Took him online this past summer. Great course. He breaks everything down into simple assignments with a calendar of due dates. He selects a good textbook that stands in for the lectures, and just by doing the chapter reviews and short writing assignments you will learn the material. Also helpful on a couple of student problems. Highly recommended!

He utilizes blackboard, so if you miss a class usually you can listen to the lecture you missed on blackboard. He is kind of funny and tries to involve everyone in the class. If you have to Sociology TAKE him!

Do yourself a favor and take him for Learning Framework. The class is well-structured and very easy to balance with your other classes. Each week there is usually just a short 1-page paper and a discussion board, sometimes even less. It's an easy A. Professor Chunn is incredibly helpful. He really cares about his students and wants you to do well.

Absolutely fun professor! Very good lecturer, sometimes asks some fairly specific questions from his lectures on his tests. Very willing to help. Plenty of homework, but plenty of chances to get better grades on assignments if you happen to miss one or mess one up.

He was so cool! He made class fun and bearable, not boring w/ his lectures. I typed my notes (You will NEED to take notes, most of the test comes from them) and printed them out which really helped, study! 3 Short papers and 1 longer, maybe 5 tests. QUizzes online but it all comes from the book. Sad i cant take him again this semester.

You have chapter reviews for each chapter of the book, so yes you definitely need the book. Loved his class and I wish he was teaching other courses!

Professor Chunn was honestly such a great teacher! Most days he just lectures (take notes!!) and we have five exams. The exams are really not that hard because he gives you reviews and tells you the short answer questions beforehand. I love listening to him talk because he is a great entertainer as well as professor. I would highly recommend Chunn!

You will have to read long chapters but it is easy! Youll also have to write one page papers that arent difficult at all! He grades fast and gives good feedback. The exams are 50 questions long and you have 50min. Soo take notes and be ready to answer fast. Easy class if you put in effort.

I really liked Chunn. I took his class online. He had video lectures that he'd recorded from his in-person classes, so it was kind of bad quality and hard to understand at times, but it still worked. Other than that I only remember having to write a few papers, so overall it was pretty easy. He was really kind and supportive.
