Easiest class I ever took. All you do is watch movies and discuss them. Just 4 reaction papers that if you do the 2 full pages you'll pretty much get a perfect score. Midterm and Final are only on terms he gives u in class. The terms are words u learn in middle school/high school. Easy A

I'm currently taking him ITV class on sat and its a piece of cake. All you do is watch a few movies and write your reaction on it (cant get a bad grade cuz its all your opinion) Havent taking the final yet but im sure its a walk in the park. Very nice and funny teacher.

I took this in conjunction with the Psych 25 course. I think it was Human Sexuality they called it. And let me tell you, Foreman and Kiotas rocked this class so much that I never wanted to miss a single class!! I don't know if they still offer/teach this course but take it while you can!!

His lectures can get downright boring but you don't even need to pay attention to him. People play games on their cell phones or never show up for class. Just turn in the papers and do well on the midterm/final. Easy A. But it's also a very easy B too.

This was an excellent class. You watch cool movies and take tests. The tests are based on vocab, and lecture notes, both of which, he puts online. His lectures are interesting becuase he his really smart when it comes to analyzing movies in detail.

i don't get anything from his class. Just watch movie and read his papers, you'll do good in every test. Very easy class, boring, not challenging, nice teacher. yeah, if you want to study, don't take this class. you'll not get anything (just learn bout vocabulary and so on). however, this is a fun class. take a break, relax, take this class.

This is, by far, the easiest class I have taking since my high school food science class. I STRONGLY suggest taking his ITV course in the summer if you want an easy A. Most of his questions are from the movies you watch, vocabulary [most of which you will already know], and the lecture. He's a very nice professor, and very helpful to his students.

Great 'easy A' class. Even though you may not be, Forman is really into Humanities. Tests are 80% vocabulary and some questions are from the movies that you have already watched. Very easy class.

Easiest class I've taken at PCC. I suggest taking his class over an intersession, because 16 weeks just to get your A is a long time, and can be used wisely on a harder class. In summer you meet 6 times, and take 4 test, mainly vocab, and about cool modern movies like the matrix, poltergiest, superman, etc.

This is the easiest class ever. The only drawback is that Mr. Forman's teachings seem mainly to be based on his own opinions. He is nice, but I found him to be rather annoying. I can only recommend this class to someone who will not be so easily irritated.

Easiest class I've ever taken in PCC. Recommend to take it during short-term semesters. You only attend the class six times total and you get to ditch right before the movie starts. I took it during the summer and it was homework-free. Five extremely easy exams as long as you study his vocab list and notes. Do your GPA a favor, take him!

You have to be deaf, dumb, and blind to not pass this class. Tests are common knowledge and simple. He doesn't even require a book because he thinks they are overpriced. Do your GPA a HUGE favor and take him.

Probably the only 3-hr class that I can say is AWESOME. Watch movies, lecture, write four papers throughout the entire semester. Midterm and final are online. He is so lively when he lectures, you will have no trouble going to this class.

Really easy class. Just watching movies (Superman, The Ring,The Matrix),go home, and 3 weeks later, take the test online. For me, going to this class is like going to a cinema for free ^_^(except the Maya Angelou screening, so boring >.<). He's willing to help, but don't ask question in the board coz he won't respond to it after the 2nd meeting =/

The class is easy if you do the work. He will answer anything questions you have and give you his own opinion. He loves to hear how we interpret the films. If you love films I reccomend his class. He is really nice!

Took his Humanities 4 class during Fall 2004, got an A in it. He's an easy A. Grading consists of tests and essays, basically a standard grading rubric. He's a nice guy and stays after to discuss theories. For the sake of your GPA, please take him to boost it.

ahhh... simply one of the most brilliant lectures by any teacher to date. with his insightful details pertaining to many theories and historical background, mr. forman can very well be the next ebert and roper. don't think of him as an easy A, think of him as someone who offers an A to anyone who takes his class--as long as you do all your homework

Best Teacher ever!!! the tests are open notes and you take them online. You get to watch films like fight club and tomb raider can it get any better than that! Take the 2 tests online (with the help of his notes), get an A. 2 Problems: 1. the students get to talk; everyone thinks they're a philosophy genius. 2. He over-analyzes every aspect of each movie so much that you never want to hear the name "Freud" again.

After I took this class, I look at myself and others differently. He helps you understand how movie makers uses the human subconscious mind to make good movies. Easy class, no book needed, take test online so open notes but it is a minute per question, watch great films.

Throughout the whole semester: 4 worksheets(1-2 hr each), 2 essays(2 pg only, not picky on grammer, structure...guranteed 30/30 if no copying),1 midterm,1 final(both open notes,can find ALL answers easily in notes).

take his on-line class, but not the attending class because u dont need to write an essay for his on-line class.4 exams and each one is 50 points. the exam materials are all on his syllabus. EXTREMELY EASY!!!!!!!!just take his class and take exam on date, then u'll get A, sure!!!

Professor Forman was a very dedicated individual. He was able to pick up tiny details in the movies we studied and told us about their deeper meanings. This was the Saturday class. He lectures for a portion of the class followed by a movie. Some weeks he lectures the whole class, which can be boring but was really interesting to me. Total 2 essays about each genre( horror and sci- fi)<-easy 20 points. Two tests which were really easy( be a dummy to fail) Worksheets were also easy and from the note

Hella easy, really insightful and profound. 6 amazing movies, and you can tell he's really excited about sharing his knowledge. No textbook. blackboard operated. Fun teacher, really interesting concepts. I learned a lot, surprisingly. Loved it.

He showed six different horror/sci-fi films, including Twilight and The Dark Knight. No textbook is needed, which is amazing for us college students. There were two online "tests", two essays, and six mini assignments. He engages the students with his lectures and I love his jokes. This class was a piece of delicious cake. Yum. Oh how I miss it so.

He gives great in depth lectures on various films ranging from horror to science fiction. Class wasn't mandatory, but I attended to listen to his lectures before he showed the films (I've seen all the films before). He means well. Tests were taken online based on his notes. Oh, and I had the biggest crush on him.

Quite possibly the eaisest class ever. I took the ITV class & the only day that was mandatory was day 1. But I still did go anyways because Foreman shows us some interesting films & info. Great nice professor, realizes that students have lives and dont have time to put up with the random GE's that PCC throws at you.

He is really involved genuinely to help out his students. Many professors like get a power kick on failing and giving the students a difficult time. I do like this one. He was kind and sweet. I really did not want to take Hum 1 but it was required. I have taken 70 classes and I would have to say that Kurt Forman is one of the very best instructors that I have ever seen. His class is not easy, you must attend, but his class is very fair and fun. He will make you learn, and he will keep you interested. Great Class. He is funny too.

Yep he is that good. This guy really cares. He puts 210% into his class, he has good Teacher assistants too. You need to do work, and you need to attend but his class is well worth it. Assignments and HW are very reasonable. I wish all my classes were this good.

Forman is one of those teachers that's really passionate about what he teaches. His lectures/films towards the 2nd (horror) section of the semester are really interesting! Fantastic teacher, super-smart, insightful, challenging, original thinker - huge respect for diversity of opinion and independent thinking. Assignments were interesting, lectures even more so, would take this class again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Great professor. He seems passionate about what he teaches and his enthusiasm makes for a great learning environment. I really enjoyed listening and attending his lectures. He was a kind and sweet person. His classes assignments/midterm/ final are all due or done online. This course made me think about our humanities its norms and the laws we make.

Hands down, one of THE best professors I've ever had. Very innovative, gets the class really involved in discussion, and as long as you take the questions on the online homework seriously (complete sentences, nothing completely off the wall), and somewhat pay attention to the movies and discussions, you WILL get an A. Professor Forman is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! He gives really good insight and analysis to great films. You won't be disappointed if you take his class, and you will definitely learn a lot. During summer session you watch 6 films, take 6 online worksheets, 2 two page essays, midterm and final (online). Fairly easy, yet rewarding.

Professor Forman is really knowledgeable about films. I really enjoyed class discussions and all the insight he had to offer about them. If you haven't taken a class with him, you MUST! Homework and Tests are done online, and they are fairly easy.

Prof. Forman is a sci-fi and horror film geek, but he's a great professor and is probably the best for Humanities. He's an easy A, and all you have to do is six worksheets, a midterm, and final in which he provides the answers for in his notes and slides. His lectures are also fun and very entertaining, and you get to watch some cool movies.

He is super chill and very easy. He is also nice. All you do is watch movies and fill out worksheets.

Highly recommended class. He throws out a lot of interesting ideas about movies/life that will start to make you think about things differently. It's a fairly easy class but I actually learned a lot, probably because his class was never boring. Just show up, turn in work on time, and you'll get an A.

Just do all the work, which is only online questions for each film and then online midterm and finals and 2 page reflection on a film for midterm and final and you will get an A no problem. You get to watch some really good horror and scifi movies. Great class for those into cinema and psychology.

He is one of the most hilarious professors at PCC. His lecture is easy, but several worksheets and midterm, final is difficult. Especially, the final is quite difficult compared to his lecture. If you don't watch films in class and study hard for especially midterm and final. You won't receive A. This class would be harder than people here say.

Professor Forman usually screens movies that involve horror and genetic engineering. He will lecture you on these two types of genres and expand on the topic. Take notes if you want to, but you don't necessarily have to because he provides you the notes on canvas. In all an experienced professor in the field of humanities. Definitely take the class

Professor Forman is simply amazing. I took him last semester for Humanities 1 he is very enthusiastic about his lectures. Goes into detail about sci-fi films and horror movies. He does alot of PowerPoint presentations not necessary to take notes. His exams are easy just watch the films and you can get an easy A. I would definitely take him again :)

Professor Forman is just amazing! His lectures are spectacular and the quizzes and tests are easy. Although one can theoretically get an A even without literally going to his class, I advise that you go to class until the very last day because the class is a lot of fun. He also gives extra credit points to those who have perfect attendance. :)

Love this guy! There is barely any work, just show up and listen. The only flaw in his method is that he does not keep your grade updated on canvas. However, you can avoid an anxiety attack by doing the few short papers that he requires you to do. Easy A!

This dude is really great, really straightforward, he does everything with you. I really recommend going to every class his lectures have to do a lot with the pop culture. And he chooses movies that are really great and will get you thinking and he will take the next class to analyze the movie and create theories that will stick with you. 10/10.

Professor Forman shows many films in which he dissects the culture behind it. A lot of sci-fi and horror which is my favorite so the class was very enjoyable. Attendance is taken by a 2-3 question "quiz" on canvas. All tests are online and open notes. Bring your popcorn and learn about the study of human culture through film.

You do not need to go to class but you should go anyway! It's a nice break from harder classes. funny, and teaches humanities through horror/sci-fi films. Attendance is taken by taking a tiny test on canvas which has the same midterm/final q's. You can do the test from home, or go to class and he will literally give you the answer. Easy and fun A.

Honestly an amazing professors, take notes during lectures because midterm and final is off lecture and powerpoints, you watch a movie almost every class meet and their good films too, get to bring food to class, attendance is important, maybe three papers off your opinion.

The EASIEST "A" you'll ever get. EVER. By that I mean you have to TRY to get below a B. He's so funny, inspirational, and carefree. There's very few professors who actually want to make your life easier. He's one of them. Show up to class, take the quizzes and pay attention to the powerpoints. You will have no problems passing his class. No book needed, open note for EVERYTHING and heavily uses canvas. He's really easy. He's also pretty funny with the material. Very passionate.

His class was amazing! I took him for winter session which was very short. Very easy. Didn't need a book and the assignments were linked to lectures and videos shown in class. super chill. He does offer extra credit. I would definitely take him again.

Professor Forman is amazing! Has such a great personality, very funny guy. All we did was watch horror/sci-fi movies, take little quizzes on canvas. Professor Forman is the greatest!! His humanities 1 course was super enjoyable. He uses Powerpoint lectures, and the rest of his class is just watching really great films. Very easy class, I highly recommend him to students who have a heavy workload in other courses, his class is extremely manageable and you'll actually get something out of it!

Really cool teacher, tests are easy as long as you show up to class and pay attention to the power points, no notes required, shows really good movies all the time. If you're not a fan of horror film though, beware!

He has really weird thoughts, but I like the way he thinks. We watched 6 movies in class. 2 essays & Midterm, Final. This class is not like that essay. You have to pay attention to his lecture, but quiz is not difficult cuz you are able to discuss with your classes. Don't worry, take him & take to him during the break. He is a funny guy.

Really nice guy, although he frequently brought a ouija board to class, which made me pretty uncomfortable. The class consists of sci-fi & horror films (the babadook, ex machina, the ring, for example). You learn interesting things about artificial intelligence. Not a hard class, although its focus on horror was excessive. Easy, weird class.

Class was very easy; took during winter session. We watched eight movies and took six 10-point quizzes. Final and midterm were 50pts each. All multiple choice. Theres enough extra credit points that you should not have to write one of the two 2-page papers.

Only did two essays for this class, watched eight movies which some were very great to watch, would recommend him to anybody .

Pretty chill! Watched several films over the whole semester and did six quizzes, one midterm and one final, two essays. Nothing hard overall. One helpful thing is that you can work together with your classmates on the quizzes and exams. More than enough extra credit offered. Just come to class and don't miss quizzes, and you'll be ok!!

Professor Forman is the best! In class we watched 7 films, 3 science fiction & 4 horror. Practice quizzes before the main quiz. 6 quizzes overall with 12 questions. Final & midterm 50 questions. 2 essays. But if you have a score of 180 you do not have to do the other essay. GREAT CLASS! Recommend everyone to take him! P.S you can work together

I took him for a summer Humanities class. Very easy class. Just show up, watch the movies, and PAY ATTENTION to the movies. The quizzes are very easy. All of his quizzes are open book. His energy is great and he is always willing to answer questions and help students out.

Easiest professor I have ever had. You just watch movies and he will quiz you on specifics of what happened in those movies. He allows you to ask classmates for help too. I believe I did one or two papers for his summer class, but he is a kind grader. If you're looking for an easy A class, this is it. He is a kind guy who is funny and easygoing.

I took his class for Winter 2019 and he was amazing! So funny and is up to date with memes and what we young people do. You need to attend his class because he gives the access code for quizzes in the class. You watch movies. I watched Gattaca, Hereditary, etc. He even helped me finish my Honors paper by reviewing the draft. Very helpful!

Looking for an easiest professor? Take him for any humanities class. He's enjoying discussions from different perspectives. I would say that his class is easy because you need to come to class ALWAYS for the code. You have the option to take it at home or in class. EASY A by open book & watch the films. He reminds me of Ox King from Dragon Ball Z.

I'm a film major, and Professor Forman's class is hands down the best class I've taken at PCC. Seriously, his class is the quality of something you'd get at USC or any other notable film school. If you're a writer or filmmaker looking to tell compelling, meaningful stories, take this class. It changed the way I see storytelling forever.

Excellent class. You're learn about the humanities, psychology, and storytelling through an in-depth analysis of Sci-Fi and Horror movies and what these films have to say about the world around us. Give it your all in this class, and I guarantee you'll get a lot out of it.

A master/artist at what he does. Dissects cinema to teach his students about humans and our psychology. His witty and funny character gives way for creative dialogue in his class. Inspires his students to think about human psychology as they progress in their learning paths and promotes self-discovery. You get out what you put into it.

I really liked this guy. I liked him a lot. This is one of those classes where you need to pay attention and I mean really pay attention and unfortunately for me I was finding myself falling asleep in class unintentionally. I recommend if you do take this class in winter and or summer take it alone. The concentration will be easier. Study for it.

Best professor I've ever taken hands down. He made class so interesting, all we did was watched movies and discussed about it. He made us take quiz attendance everyday which is really helpful because the questions are on the midterm/final. Just pay attention to his presentations and make sure you are there on the day there is a quiz. Easy A!

HUM1 is super interesting and easy with Prof. Forman! He lectures and shows movies that you're tested on. There are 6 total. If you pay attention and actually watch the movies, you'll ace the course super easily because there is really only quizzes and tests he grades. 1 midterm, 1 final + extra credit essay (2-3 pgs). Total 210 pts possible w/ EC.

Took his class as a GPA booster. HE is such an easy going guy. No homeworks and allows open notes on every exams. His exams are from the movies you watch and the discussions. I was lazy for the last two weeks of summer but I got an A in his class. Watch and chill in his class. Forman is a lifesaver when it comes to grades. Lazy people can pass too.

Greatest professor ever!

The BEST Saturday class. He really took an amazing perspective on this course. Movie+lecture every other Saturday. The script is the literature. I learned so much about society through this course. No homework, easy quizzes/tests, open notes and you can work with peers. Realistic guy. It's a class worth taking, I was stress free with it.

Probably the best class to take in PCC. Amazing lectures, kind and generous professors extremely patient and flexible with the students, and movies of Horror and Sci-Fi genre that makes students think critically through its artworks.

I took this class on a Saturday morning and I do not regret it at all. He is hands down the best professor at pcc. In humanities 4 we watched a total of 5 horror and sci-fi movies with 10 quizzes and a midterm and a final. Come on this is literally a class where you watch movies. Take him!!

This is the easiest and best humanities class to take. All you do is watch movies like Hereditary, It Follows, and The Ring. You take practice quizzes (not graded) and quizzes about the movies and lectures. You write 4 1 page papers throughout the semester, but the instructions are not strict. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!

Despite the pandemic, I still think Forman's class is super fun and he's really easy, though the quizzes and tests questions are a bit specific so be sure to watch the lectures (but its doable without watching them). Did an honors option, 5-page paper on any of the films we watched in class. Super easy honors credit.

He is a really good teachers. All you need to do in order to past your quizzes is to watch the movies and lectures he assigns. On quizzes, finals, and midterm he allows 3 attempts. There is also an extra credit assignment to do if you need it. The work load isn't that bad it would take like 2-3 days to complete a week of assignments.

Take this professor if you're trying to fullfill area C of IGETC, he's so easy. For hum1, you just write a couple 1 page essays and he doesn't even ask for much. You just watch movies and write about them. Easy class, I would definietely recommend him to anyone.

One of my favorite classes last semester! He teaches by making you watch sci-fi and horror movies, such as Gattaca, Ex Machina, Hereditary, etc. Assigns a quiz every Thursday and you get three attempts and they're very easy, mostly about plot points of the movies. His lectures are very engaging. Assigns 4 papers but each only a page long. Easy A!

You watch movies, take quizzes on the plot, read and watch lectures based on movie genres, have one essay on a movie at the end of the year. Honestly, one of the easiest classes you can take for a GE. He's kind and very understanding.

This guy is one of the best! you get very easy quizzes with 3 attempts and practice quizzes for non credit also 3 attempts. extra credit paper at the end of the semester. All you have to do is watch the movies, watch his lecture, and read the script for his lecture. I took him in a winter sem and his class felt nonexistent. A 5 year old could pass!

Horror/sci-fi movies, lots of non-graded practice quizzes/graded quizzes with easy final and midterm. One of the easiest professors at PCC! Watch the movies and you'll pass. He has extra credit essay you can do on the movies the class is based on like Donnie Darko. I did an Honors contract form with him, 5 page essay with two pictures. Take him!

Take him if you want easy A and be ready to wake up at midnight because of the movies you have watched for this class that has nothing related to the subject of humanity that I could think of but horror and quite disgusting. (But yes he is caring)

This class was incredibly easy and Prof Foreman is really passionate about the criteria taught. For an early morning class, it was easy to stay awake thanks to his liveliness and great choice in films being shown in class.

It is better to watch video lectures that he post, but you can still get an A without even watching those lectures. You are required to write 4 of the 1 page essays that talk about the SF films. You have to pay for the SF films if you want to watch them, but you don't necessarily have to watch them.

His films were amazing! He also gives fairly easy quizzes where students who fail to identify the correct answer the first time could remember to fix the answer on the next attempt. Then, there is an attendance "pop quiz" every day of attendance. HUM 001 is one of the best classes to take for GE credit. So, take him for HUM 001!

I absolutely love Forman. If he was my professor for every class I would be so happy. His class is so interesting, I was actually excited to go everyday. We watch some great films and very easy quizzes with multiple attempts. He wants everyone to get an A and he is so helpful when it comes to grading. Take him if you need to take humanities!!!

I loved this class!!! Professor Forman was so amazing. He understood if you struggled with anything and always helped. I loved the film days, the films were fun to watch as well. We would watch a film then do a quiz about it, it's not hard! We also did have to write about the films towards the end but overall, this was is the best in person!

As long as you show up for class, you will get an A. Majority of your grade comes from the quizzes and exams. Allows open notes and collaboration with others to do them. No homework besides 4 essays that are easy to complete, and offers a lot of extra credit if needed. No excuse to not get an A.

easy A! class consists of lectures and films. mainly horror films so if you don't like horror films i wouldn't recommend taking him bc more than half of the films are based on that genre. make sure to go to class! very informative and quizzes/tests are a breeze. you get 3 chances on all of them and its all open note and u can work with others.

Wow! Such a fun and engaging class! Truly enjoyed learning from Prof Forman and being able to write an Honors Option essay on Dune! We just watched movies, discussed them, did quizzes/exams together, and wrote 4 one-pagers that were SUPER EASY! I strongly recommend this class if you need it. Such a pleasure to have him!

What can I say, he gave the most amazing lectures. Always interesting and interactive! We watched 5 films in total and while it was hard to digest Hereditary.. I found the discussions around the films very entertaining and enlightening. Definitely one of the most interesting classes ive taken.

I took Professor Forman for his Summer 2022 class. The reviews are all very accurate! One of the best professors to take at PCC. You'd have to actually TRY to fail his class. All we did was watch movies, have very engaging talks, and take short quizzes as a class. Very easy points. Great class to take for credit and as an Easy A. TAKE HIM!!!

I took Forman's class over the summer. Pretty easy! He assigned movies to watch and all we had to do was take quizzes based on them. Watch (or at least skim thru) his lectures! My only complaint is that there are only three attempts allowed on every quiz/test, but it's not bad at all. I recommend doing the practice quizzes. They helped me a lot.

Take this class for an easy A!! The workload isn't that much since we often just watch his lectures, do quizzes, and summarize what we learned from watching the videos. Theres no discussions and he allows extra credit only on the final week of the course. Whats great is that theres 3 multiple attempts on the quizzes & tests with no time limit :0

This was an interesting class to take. I took his async humanities 001 class with loads of STEM courses and it was easily manageable. Weekly quizzes on the material, a few papers, midterm and a final. All assessments have 3 opportunities each (mainly MCQ). He offers a generous amount of extra credit too. Super easy A, would highly recommend.

Not to work heavy, has a lot of material to read, assignments weren't hard, lots of little quizzes (this are the only assignments) has a midterm and final exam each having 2 one page essays. Overall easy course and nice professor

This man is probably one of the best professors PCC has to offer. Attendance counts as extra credit, his lectures aren't boring at all and instead they are extremely interesting. You watch plenty of horror movies and have a total of 3 one page papers to do (he isn't strict). Quizzes and exams are all online with 3 attempts. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!
