This guy is so helpful and easy to follow, I wanted to practically beg him to teach Business 2. After having Rasmussen and his crappy class, I was grateful Heisinger was around to clear things up for me. If you go to class, it shouldn't be difficult.

Great teacher! I took him for 2 acctg classes, and they were very helpful. Easy grader as well. I recommend him.

GREAT teacher...explained everything well, always there to help his students...if u do the homework and try hard u will get an A...this class can be very hard but this guy is a savage teacher.

Very Very Awesome teacher. I am an ESL student, but I could understand it without problems. It's an easy class if you do your job. Don't be late because he is very strict with the homeworks. Be on time and keep perticipating!! Other than that it is great!

This guy is amazing, he is very passionate about accounting and it rubs off on the students. He teaches extremely good. he wrote the book himself, and there is a workbook to go along with the book/lectures. He runs it like a business, and is just an amazing professor, Best accounting professor at Sierra.

By far the best teacher to take for business 3. He wrote his own textbook and has a workbook to go along with it. He is very much into helping students interested in accounting. He invited a CPA to come in and speak to the class, very informative. The Exams are incredibly easy, I got 100% in the class without doing extra credit.

Absolutely the best Business teacher at Sierra College! Any one of the Business courses he teaches are - must takes! He is extremely well organized and clear. You know exactly what's expected of you to do well in his class. If I were "Ebert and Roper" he would get "two thumbs way up"!

I wish he would teach bus 2 and 3! he was great. An "A" or "B" if you try!

Awesome Teacher! VERY CLEAR! VERY HELPFUL! THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO GET A GRADE LOWER THAN A 'B'. IF YOU DO, IT'S ON YOU!. I truly recommend Mr. H to anyone. He has CPA/Auditor experience and tell it like it really is, teaches PERFECTLY! Best Teacher To Date! IT SUCKS that he's GONE for the next whole year until he returns. I'll be waiting ;)

this is the best teacher i have ever had! yes there is a lot of homeowrk but it all helps with learning the material. i can't say enough how much he had helped everytime i had asked, he is always there even if your not his student! he will help you with career choices and just everyday life! he is GREAT!!!!

THE BEST BUSINESS TEACHER AT SIERRA. He is a good guy with amazing teaching techniques. TAKE HIM IF YOU CA!!! You will learn so much and get a good grade if you really put in the effort and work!

Tough course but I learned alot and if you attend every lecture you will be prepared for exams

I hate accounting and struggled through Bus.1+2, but, dare I say it, actually enjoyed Bus.3. Dr. H. uses his own text and therefore teaches it in a way that's understandable. He's a very efficient guy, professional, and a fair grader. Learned alot and am very happy to have taken him. Definitely lives up to his legendary status here!

Kurt is a really gud instructor! His lectures are very organized and easy to follow. The homework he assigns always follws that days lecture. His tests are very straight forward, no surprises & he allows one page of notes for the tests. Must show up for class/lectures other wise you won't pass.

Great teacher! I wasn't looking forward to taking this class but I ended up taking this one online and did well. I had to email him several times for clarification and help and he always answered all my questions quickly. If you have to take this class, take this teacher....you won't regret it!

Excellent Professor. Quick, understands students, great attitude, and lots of class interaction. Doesn't doddle. All homework assignments had page numbers on them where you could find the information.

Fast paced and organized like a printing press. This professor made the material easy to learn if the classes are attended. If you have questions then he is polite and will take them. Sometimes he forgets to call on you if your hand is raised so if you have to speak up. Has real world working knowledge of Accounting. Take his course if you can.

Took online intro to business 20 and BEST teacher ever. Do the work, pay attention to dates and you will pass this class. He is very helpful and wants to see you pass his class.

Took all 4 classes (BUS 1,2,3,20)that he's teching at Sierra College! The best instructor ever! Very organized and very helpful. He will explain the most difficult topic in a way that any person will understand! He covers all the material so well that it is really difficult NOT to get an A. Highly recommend!

Mr. Heisinger is awesome. He is very straight forward with what he expects at the beginning of the course. Quite informative with useful information, and makes it easy to do well in his class so long as you try hard and do your work. GREAT PROFESSOR!

Very helpful professor. He wants his students to succeed and will go above and beyond to help anyone who is struggling in the class. The tests can be a bit challenging and the class is by no means a breeze but being business 3 it is supposed to be challenging. Great class and professor!

Kurt is an amazing teacher, he makes everything so clear. His lectures come with notes to fill in that make it so easy to go back and study as well as do homework. He allows a study sheet on tests which is really helpful. Overall he is very informative and helpful. I took Acct 1 online and really struggled, with Kurt in Class Acct 2 is a breeze!

I took Prof. Heisinger's Intro to Business as an online course over the summer. I highly recommend! He sets very clear expectations and responds quickly to emails. Just a couple of (easy) writing assignments and discussion boards each week as well as a multiple choice final at the end. This class should be an easy A if you put in a little effort.

Professor Heinsinger is Great. Really fair in his grading and always polite to his students. I took his online class and he was very clear with his instructions and responded to my email quickly. Really nice guy and great professor.

I had Kurt for bus20, acct 1 and for the intern class. He is SO helpful and knows his stuff. Super nice. Always willing to help and answer any questions you have within a timely manner. One of the best teachers I have ever had

I'm about to take Kurt's 3rd accounting class at Sierra's Truckee campus; and let me tell you, he is, hands down, the best teacher ever. His clarity, and desire to see you succeed, is the best. Plus, he lets you call him by his first name AND is a Giants fan. Best. Teacher. EVER.

Fantastic professor, incredibly friendly and there for his students. OL class requires DB posts and responses (very straightforward and easy), in addition to one written assg. each week. Two exams. Easiest class to pass with an A that you will likely ever encounter, so if you can't accomplish that god help you with the rest of your college years.

Professor Heisinger wants his students to succeed and learn something about business. I enjoyed this class and it wasn't too difficult. I took it ONLINE- consisted of discussion boards, a few assignments, and 2 exams. It was the easiest of my 4 classes and an "easier" A.

Great instructor, everything was clear and spelled out as far as expectations. Appreciated the feedback offered and really related to students well including the working adults in the class. You always knew where you stood and what you needed to do to better your grade.

Great and experienced professor, good at involving students. Do the work, learn the material and you're good to go. Tests are stress free, this course is well defined and easy to understand.

I know it sounds weird to say an accounting professor has "amazing lectures" but Kurt really does. He breaks it down in a way for students to completely understand everything so easily. I was deathly afraid of accounting and after taking his classes, I wanted to become a CPA, no joke.

Read the book, do the homework (a weekly textbook assignment and a weekly discussion board), and it's an easy A. Two open-note exams (the last one is non-cumulative). I learned plenty of useful information about the world of business. Great class for anyone to take.

Professor Heisinger covered the topic well and was ready to answer questions when needed.

Took this accounting class in 8 weeks over summer, which is not easy, but his lectures helped a lot. The book is mandatory, but he wrote it so it's very manageable to read through. Weekly homework assignments, exams that test fairly on information covered, and weekly discussion board. Provides feedback on homework problems and very willing to help.

This was the hardest accounting course I have taken but managed to pass. There are weekly discussion board posts and 4 exams (exam 1 is the syllabus). He cares about students and communicates weekly updates, quick grading too. Buy the $24 textbook version you won't need the extra stuff.

My favorite business professor so far! Class is very organized and there are only 3 exams throughout, no quizzes. You're allowed a sheet of notes for each exam which is super helpful! He wrote his own book so the hw is extremely relevant to class. Not too much hw and it really helps, so do it! This class is not hard at all if you pay attention

I took his online BUS 20 class. There are weekly discussion posts and text assignments, however they are easy. As long as you do the discussions and text assignments you'll be golden. Definitely recommend him. Don't procrastinate, you can easily fall behind because of the weekly assignments.

Prof. Kurt is one of the best teachers I've had at Sierra. He's very organized & gives clear details in terms of homework requirements or chapter readings. He always try to maintain good rapport with his students. He cares about student success and provides positive feedback. You'll do fine in his class just do your part study & don't procrastinate

One of the best online business classes I have taken! Prof. Heisinger has his own book which is way cheaper than other college accounting books, and he actually teaches the information! You understand everything! There are weekly homework assignments and db. And 4 exams. Totally recommend him!!

I took this class online over the 8 week summer semester. The workload is expectedly above normal but doable. Prof Heisinger is organized and clear. His Youtube videos are the key to understanding the material and doing well on the assignments and exams.

Professor Heisinger is very clear and detailed in his lectures. He breaks difficult concepts into small chunks so you can understand them. I wish I'd taken all my accounting classes with him.

Excellent online program for Managerial Accounting. Professor Heisinger wrote the text book which contains excellent videos to explain the topics. Super well organized and easy to understand. Best online class ever taken! Professor is very responsive by email and cares about giving top scores. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Best Professor ever!!!! He really understands his stuff and teaches it well. He also has extra credit available to give you the extra boost. He follows his syllabus to the tee so be prepared for that. Will be taking him again for future classes. If you're reading this, don't wait and just take his class already.

Probably the best accounting professor ever and I am not kidding. He has very clear cut material , has a very cheap textbook , and has amazing youtube lectures. He also grades very quickly and gives great feedback on what to improve on. Is it an easy course I would definitely say no. It is very doable though even though it is such a fast pace class

He is the BEST. Explain everything clear and make sure you understand. Even if you are lost and in the same boat, he makes sure you are in the same boat with the class. Always responsed to email or any qusetions you may have. Gives you a great feedback on what to improve on. He's AWESOME, take him and wont regret it.

He gives great feedback on your discussion posts as well as homework, telling you exactly what you got incorrect and why. Cheap textbook he co-authored that has good YouTube videos in it. Homework isn't bad and the textbook is easy to read and understand. Class average for tests are always C's or B's. He's a great professor!

He's an incredible professor. If you're looking to have an easy time and learn a lot, he's the right guy. It was so easy to manage everything as long as you have the textbook.

There is a lot of work required for this class. The professor provides a lot of great resources for help to counter the heavy work load. A key piece of advice for this class, do the work early!! I really recommend this professor!

A really good way to learn about accounting. His homework is in excel spreadsheets which will help get you used to them since they are used in the accounting world.

Professor Heisinger is incredible. I took him for a different course and he was so great that I took him again! He is always willing to help clear up confusion about concepts and show you how to work through problems. He is genuinely kind and clearly has a love for what he teaches. His textbook is SO clear and gives great examples! Take his class!

Took him for accounting, Had discussion boards related to the topics, tests, homework, and lectures. Homework had a few times to be able to redo it which was cool. Final exam was difficult but as long as you kept with your work you should be fine.

Prof. Heisinger is one of the nicest professors i've taken but when he says you need a decent amount of time for the class, he means it. I got overwhelmed with work and started skimping on the homework and barely passed the class. That is mostly my fault, he is great to reach out to for help or clarification!

I took this class online in the summer and it wasn't as intense as I thought it would be. The course was online and all of the information was in video lectures from the text (which you absolutely need). There is also an opportunity to improve your score on the homework which means you're almost guaranteed an A as long as you do the work on time.

I took Professor Heisinger for Accounting I and really loved his class! The website used for homework let you do practice problems of the homework problems which explained the homework well and is the reason I passed with an A. He also provided videos of another professor solving some of the problems to make them more clear. I highly recommend!

This is my second class I've taken with Heisinger, he's definitely become my go-to for accounting classes. His homework is easy to follow, and he's very caring. 10/10

Wonderful professor! This is my 2nd semester in his class. Lectures are thorough and clear, he checks in to make sure you understand. Material is very well organized. He gives you everything you need to succeed in Accounting!

This guy is legit. Took him last semester and he is very thorough. I wish I was able to get him for BUS202 but it was full. Would definitely take again and recommend to anyone taking business.

He allows late work (5% off every day it's late) so don't go into despair if you accidentally miss a day. I have been online due to a medical illness and he worked with me through all of it! So, if you're a frequent hospital visitor, this class is great! Homework was easy and lectures went into great detail but they were still simple!

Professor Heisinger is the best accounting professor at Sierra! His class is very well organized with homework and lectures online and weekly zoom meetings. There are no quizzes, only 4 exams that he lets you take 2 times. Discussion boards are every other week and are rather simple. He is not only caring but understanding, highly recommend!

Loved Bus 201, currently taking 202 with Kurt. The book is required and is written in a way that actually teaches everything you need to know. I think its the only book i ever actually used in a class. Every chapter is split into 2weeks and every 2 chapters you have an exam w/ 2 attempts. If you read the book and take good notes, youll easily pass.

He is clear, concise, and explains everything thoroughly. The grading is simple, straightforward and it is easy to know what to expect.

Professor Heisinger is a wonderful teacher, and if you participate in the live classes, he explains everything clearly. Highly recommend him! First Class Professor!

I had him online for accounting 1 and it was great. Having the class be online is hard but things were clearly laid out from the beginning and all very consistent. I'm absolutely taking him again for the next accounting class. Also there are chances for extra credit which was nice

Great prof. really cares about his work. Only thing I hated is he has it set up where you have to spend about 15 hours a week on his course. Very hard to manage especially when you have other classes and/or a job. Work takes a crazy amount of time. Class is 1-2 discussion boards a week and 1-2 HW assignments a week. (8 week class). Also a few tests

Kurt makes accounting engaging and is very knowledgeable of the subject matter. I took his hybrid class and loved being able to attend from my home via Zoom. There is a lot of material to learn here but as long as you put in the effort it is easily passable. I'm looking forward to taking his BUS 202 class in the same format next semester!

Amazing professor. As long as you take notes on the book (which I think he participated in writing), you'll pass the class easily. I took him for BUS 201/202/203 and always finished the class weeks early. He opens the whole class from day 1 so you can work at your own pace. Bus 203, he uses spreadsheets he created for HW and exams are on Canvas.

I absolutely enjoyed having Kurt for Accounting 1 and Accounting 2! He provides clear and easy-to-understand lectures and is always ready to help out. The tutors are also great and always willing to assist you. Be sure to complete assignments on time and take notes, they will useful. Even after changing my major, I learned a lot in his classes!

Kurt is very thorough with his lectures and applies real life experiences to accounting concepts. All homework is done online through My Accounting Lab, provides additional resources and homework problems if necessary.

Prof. Kurt set up the course perfectly & it is almost impossible not to pass. I love that there are unlimited attempts for homework. It helps you understand the material. There are final chapter exams with 2 attempts. Best accounting class! I am taking again for accounting 2. Take this professor, you won't regret it.

Kurt is an amazing professor!! He explain everything well on the weekly lectures. He is super nice and always open to asking question about an problem!! There is a lot to learn in this class but if you follow the instructions and watch the video it will be easy to do the assignments.
